We derive a single-channel effective $\bar{K}\!N$ interaction from chiral SU(3) coupled-channel dynamics, emphasizing the important role of the πΣ channel and the structure of the Λ(1405) resonance. The chiral low energy theorem requires strongly attractive interaction not only in the $\bar{K}\!N$ channel but also in the πΣ channel. As a consequence of the strong πΣ dynamics, the equivalent potential in single $\bar{K}\!N$ channel turns out to be less attractive than the one used in a purely phenomenological approach.  相似文献

When the $\bar{K}N$ system is submerged in nuclear medium the $\bar{K}N$ scattering amplitude and the final state branching ratios exhibit a strong energy dependence when going to energies below the $\bar{K}N$ threshold. A sharp increase of $\bar{K}N$ attraction below the $\bar{K}N$ threshold provides a link between shallow $\bar{K}$ -nuclear potentials based on the chiral $\bar{K}N$ amplitude evaluated at threshold and the deep phenomenological optical potentials obtained in fits to kaonic atoms data. We show the energy dependence of the in-medium K ??? p amplitude and demonstrate the impact of energy dependent branching ratios on the Λ-hypernuclear production rates.  相似文献

We overview the recent progress in the investigation of the antikaon dynamics with single nucleon and with few-body nuclei, based on chiral SU(3) symmetry. We first show how the Λ(1405) resonance emerges from the coupled-channel ${\bar{K}N - \pi\Sigma}$ interaction. Next, we present the construction of an up-to-date ${\bar{K}N}$ interaction in response to the recent measurement of kaonic hydrogen. Finally, we discuss the possibility of the antikaon bound states in nuclei from the perspective of few-body physics.  相似文献

We study the reactions J/ψ → $ \bar \Lambda $ K - p and J/ψ → $ \bar \Lambda $ π+π-Λ with a unitary chiral approach. We predict the ratio of the invariant-mass distributions of these two reactions at the Λ(1520) peak position, which is free of the unknown production mechanism and reflects only the properties of the Λ(1520) . An experimental measurement of this ratio will provide the couplings of the Λ(1520) to its decay channels, allowing to test the predictions of the chiral unitary approach on this resonance, which appears as dynamically generated in that approach.  相似文献

The NA57 experiment has measured the p T distributions of K S O , Λ, and $\bar \Lambda $ particles in fixed-target Pb?Pb interactions at √s NN=17.3 GeV, as a function of the collision centrality. In this paper we study the central-to-peripheral nuclear modification factors and compare them to other measurements and to theoretical predictions.  相似文献

Experimental data obtained by the NA35 Collaboration for the difference of the p and \(\bar p\) spectra and the difference of the Λ and \(\bar \Lambda\) spectra (net proton and Λ-hyperon spectra), as well as the inclusive Λ and \(\bar \Lambda\) spectra measured by the NA49, NA57, and STAR Collaborations, are compared with the predictions of the quark-gluon string model. The contribution of string-junction diffusion is calculated, and interaction with nuclear clusters is taken into account along with the corrections for inelastic screening. The level of numerical agreement with experimental data is between 20 and 30%. The predictions for the LHC energy are given.  相似文献

The explicit ΛN ? ΣN coupling in s-shell hypernuclei is studied by using the tensor-optimized shell model. We show the obtained results of s-shell hypernuclei, ${_{\Lambda}^{4}{\rm H}}$ and ${_{\Lambda}^{5}{\rm He}}$ , and investigate the roles of the ΛN ? ΣN coupling interaction in those hypernuclei.  相似文献

A one parameter, semi-empirical formula for Λ-binding energy of heavy hypernuclei in the inverse powers of core mass number (A c) has been developed in the framework of the folding model. Unlike similar calculations reported by other authors (Deloff 1971; Daskaloyanniset al 1985), we are able to take into account the effect arising from the difference in the number of protons and neutrons of the core nuclei having same mass number. The radius and diffuseness are parametrized using the experimentally known charge density data of a fairly large number of medium and heavy nuclei. The well depth parameter (i.e. Λ-binding energy in infinite nuclear matter) in the formula is obtained from a fit to theB Λ data of Λ 28 Si, Λ 40 Ca, Λ 51 V and Λ 39 Y. Using the original Λ-nucleus potential, theB Λ of ground and the experimentally known excited states of these hypernuclei have also been calculated by solving numerically the two-body Schrödinger equation. The agreement with the experimental data is satisfactory.  相似文献

The ΛΛ 6 He and Λ 9 Be hypernuclei are treated as the S=0, T=0 (for the former) and S=1/2, T=0 (for the latter) bound states of the three-cluster systems ΛΛα and Λαα, respectively. The cluster-reduction method is used to solve the s-wave differential Faddeev equations for these systems. On the basis of the MT I–III model, the ΛΛ interaction potential is specified in the form $V_{\Lambda \Lambda } = \frac{2}{3}V_{NN} $ . Phenomenological potentials are used to describe Λα and αα interactions. The binding energies of the ΛΛ 6 He and Λ 9 Be hypernuclei and the parameters of low-energy Λ-hyperon and α-particle scattering on a Λ 5 He hypernucleus are calculated. It is shown that the proposed ΛΛ interaction potential makes it possible to reproduce faithfully the binding energy of the ΛΛ 6 He hypernucleus and that scattering in the Λ Λ 5 He system is similar to neutron scattering on a deuteron.  相似文献

Through the study of light hypernuclei, we can learn about hyperon nucleon interaction. The hypernuclear spectroscopy with electron beams is one of most powerful methods to study detailed structure of light hypernuclei thanks to its high energy resolution. With a decade of efforts at Jefferson Lab, the spectroscopy of Λ hypernuclei with an electron beam is now established. Observation of ${_{\Lambda}^{7}}$ He which gave the last missing binding energy of the A = 7, T = 1 iso-triplet hypernuclei provides an important experimental input for the charge symmetry breaking (CSB) effect of the ΛN interaction. Further study about A = 4 hypernuclear iso-doublet, ${_{\Lambda}^{4}}$ H and ${_{\Lambda}^{4}}$ He, is necessary and such experiments are now planned.  相似文献

Cryogenically sensitive nuclear emulsion was placed inside the 15-foot bubble chamber of FNAL and exposed to a wide-band energy (up to 200 GeV) neutrino beam. 194 charged-current neutrino interactions and 13 decays of charmed particles were registered. Using the nuclear emulsion as a vertex detector with the good spectrometric properties of the 15-foot bubble chamber has allowed the decays of charmed particles to be effectively analysed. Attentions is focussed on the new physical results. Λ c + baryon andD s + meson decay channels, production of charmed ∑ c baryons and Λ c + via ∑ c . For the first time an event interpreted as production of the excited (c \(\overline s\) )-state with mass ~2790 MeV/c2 has been registered.  相似文献

We present a study of the inclusive production ofK *(892) and ∑t+-(1385)+cc at 3.6 GeV/c from \(\bar p\) p interactions. The sensitivity of the exposure is 35.4 events/μb. Longitudinal and transverse momentum distributions are presented. The indirect production ofK s 0 from parentK * and that of Λ's from parent Σ(1385) are studied. The shape of thex distribution of Λ's for \(p\xrightarrow{{\bar p}}\Lambda \) are calculated from \(p\xrightarrow{p}\Lambda \) and \(p\xrightarrow{{\pi ^ - }}\Lambda \) and compared with the experimental distributions. The difference of antiparticle production cross-section ofK s 0 in the central region is compared with the expectation from Mueller-Regge formalism.  相似文献

The prototype of a $\bar{K}$ nuclear cluster, K ???pp, has been investigated using effective $\bar{K}N$ potentials based on chiral SU(3) dynamics. Variational calculation shows a bound state solution with shallow binding energy B(K ???pp)?=?20±3 MeV and broad mesonic decay width $\Gamma(\bar{K}NN \rightarrow \pi Y N)=40$ –70 MeV. The $\bar{K}N(I=0)$ pair in the K ???pp system exhibits a similar structure as the Λ(1405). We have also estimated the dispersive correction, p-wave $\bar{K}N$ interaction, and two-nucleon absorption width.  相似文献

Data on Λ and \(\bar \Lambda \) polarization inK ± p interactions at 32 GeV/c are presented. A comparison is made between the results of these two experiments as well as with the data at lower energies. The knowledge of ${\Lambda{-}\Lambda}$ interaction is quite limited. At present, only Nagara event gives a definite information for its interaction among nine samples of double hypernucleus in the world. To obtain nuclear mass dependence of the interaction with one thousand double hypernuclei, a system for fully automated scanning of ${\Xi^-}$ hyperons was developed by the success of precise position alignment (1 μm) of nuclear emulsion plates. Production and decay of double hypernuclei have typical topologies with three vertices. The development of a system to search for such topologies in overall emulsion is ongoing.  相似文献

Selected topics in strangeness nuclear physics are critically reviewed. This includes production, structure and weak decay of ??-Hypernuclei, the $\bar K$ nuclear interaction and the possible existence of $\bar K$ bound states in nuclei. The charge radii of the spin- $\frac{1}{2}^+$ octet and spin- $\frac{3}{2}^+$ decuplet baryons have been calculated in the framework of chiral constituent quark model (χCQM) using a general parametrization method (GPM). Our results are not only comparable with the latest experimental studies but also agree with other phenomenological models. The effects of SU(3) symmetry breaking pertaining to the strangeness contribution and GPM parameters pertaining to the one-, two- and three-quark contributions have also been investigated in detail and are found to be the key parameters in understanding the non-zero values for the neutral octet (n, Σ0, Ξ0, Λ) and decuplet (Δ0, Σ*0, Ξ*0) baryons.  相似文献

Hadronic composite states are introduced as few-body systems in hadron physics. The Λ(1405) resonance is a good example of the hadronic few-body systems. It has turned out that Λ(1405) can be described by hadronic dynamics in a modern technology, which incorporates coupled channel unitarity framework and chiral dynamics. The idea of the hadronic ${\bar KN}$ composite state of Λ(1405) is extended to kaonic few-body states. It is concluded that, due to the fact that K and N have similar interaction nature in s-wave ${\bar K}$ couplings, there are few-body quasibound states with kaons systematically just below the break-up thresholds, like ${\bar KNN, \,\bar KKN}$ and ${\bar KKK}$ , as well as Λ(1405) as a ${\bar KN}$ quasibound state and f 0(980) and a 0(980) as ${\bar KK}$ .  相似文献

The search of nuclear bound states of ${\bar{K}}$ in few-body nuclear systems such as K ? pp, can be extended from the nuclear medium to the vacuum, using the glue-rich ${\Upsilon(1S)}$ decays at B-factories.
