Hawking radiation is viewed as a tunnelling process. In this way the emission rates of massless particles and massive particles tunnelling across the event horizon of general stationary axisymmetric black holes are calculated, separately. The emission spectra of these two different kinds of outgoing particles have the same functional form and both are consistent with an underlying unitary theory.  相似文献

The infinite derivative theory of gravity is a generalization of Einstein gravity with many interesting properties,but the black hole solutions in this theory are still not fully understood.In the paper,we concentrate on studying the charged black holes in such a theory.Adding the electromagnetic field part to the effective action,we show how the black hole solutions around the Reissner-Nordstrom metric can be solved perturbatively and iteratively.We further calculate the corresponding temperature,entropy and electrostatic potential of the black holes and verify the first law of thermodynamics.  相似文献

以Reissner-Nordstrom黑洞(R-N黑洞)为例,从黑洞热力学定律出发,对R-N黑洞中的带电粒子的量子隧穿效应进行了重新分析.将作用量的虚部重写成黑洞热力学定律的形式后,发现在Parikh工作框架下的量子隧穿效应与黑洞热力学的第一、第二定律有潜在的联系;而且,如果认为量子隧穿过程为可逆过程,则量子隧穿效应中的结果与黑洞热力学第一、第二定律是一致的.换而言之,Parikh的结论只对可逆过程成立. 关键词: Reissner-Nordstrom黑洞 黑洞热力学定律 隧穿 可逆过程  相似文献

We investigate the Hawking radiation of a GMGHS charged black hole from the heterotic string scenario by the massive particles turmeling method. We consider the spacetime background to be dynamical, incorporate the self-gravitation effect of the emitted particles and show that the tunneling rate is related to the change of Bekenstein- Hawking entropy and the derived emission spectrum does not deviate from the pure thermal spectrum of Schwrzschild's black hole.  相似文献

We present a short and direct derivation of Hawking radiation by using the Damour-Ruffini method, as taking into account the self-gravitational interaction from the Kerr black hole. It is found that the radiation is not exactly thermal, and because the derivation obeys conservation laws, the non-thermal Hawking radiation can carry information from the black hole. Super-entropic black holes possess finite-area but noncompact event horizons and violate the reverse isoperimetric inequality. It has been conjectured that such black holes always have negative specific heat at constant volume \begin{document}$ C_{V} $\end{document} or negative specific heat at constant pressure \begin{document}$ C_{P} $\end{document} whenever \begin{document}$ C_{V}>0 $\end{document}, making them unstable in extended thermodynamics. In this paper, we describe a test of this instability conjecture with a family of nonlinear electrodynamic black holes, namely 3D Einstein-Born-Infeld (EBI) AdS black holes. Our results show that when nonlinear electrodynamics effects are weak, the instability conjecture is valid. However, the conjecture can be violated in some parameter region when nonlinear electrodynamics effects are strong enough. This observation thus provides a counter example to the instability conjecture, which suggests that super-entropic black holes may be thermodynamically stable.  相似文献

Some properties of the Hawking radiation emitted by the family of black holes of the Einstein–Maxwell–Dilaton with cosmologicalconstant theory in three dimensions found by Chan and Mann are studiedusing the complex paths method and the Damour–Ruffini method. Theexact values of the quasinormal frequencies of the massless Diracfield propagating on a particular black hole of this family arecalculated. Taking as a basis the results obtained for the values ofthe quasinormal frequencies the instability of some modes isdiscussed. In order to further explore the effects of non-Gaussian smeared mass distribution on the thermodynamical properties of noncommutative black holes, we consider noncommutative black holes based on Maxwell-Boltzmann smeared mass distribution in (2+1)-dimensional spacetime. The thermodynamical properties of the black holes are investigated, including Hawking temperature, heat capacity, entropy and free energy. We find that multiple black holes with the same temperature do not exist, while there exists a possible decay of the noncommutative black hole based on Maxwell-Boltzmann smeared mass distribution into the rotating (commutative) BTZ black hole.  相似文献

Unruh’s technique of replacing collapse by boundary conditions on the past horizon (theξ-quantisation scheme) for the derivation of the well-known Hawking radiation is extended to the Kerr black hole for the scalar and especially for the spin half field. The expectation value of the energy momentum tensor is evaluated asymptotically in theξ-vacuum state yielding explicitly the net Hawking flux of scalar and spin half quanta. The appropriate statistical distribution that emerges naturally for Dirac quanta validates the ξ-scheme for fermions and confirms the association of temperature with a Kerr black hole.  相似文献

Using the Hamilton-Jacobi method, Hawking radiation from the apparent horizon of a dynamical Vaidya black hole is calculated. The black hole thermodynamics can be built successfully on the apparent horizon. If a relativistic perturbation is given to the apparent horizon, a similar calculation can also lead to a purely thermal spectrum, which corresponds to a modified temperature from the former. The first law of thermodynamics can also be constructed successfully at a new supersurface which has a small deviation from the apparent horizon. When the event horizon is thought as such a deviation from the apparent horizon, the expressions of the characteristic position and temperature are consistent with the previous result that asserts that thermodynamics should be built on the event horizon. It is concluded that the thermodynamics should be constructed on the apparent horizon exactly while the event horizon thermodynamics is just one of the perturbations near the apparent horizon.  相似文献

This paper extends Parikh-Wilzcek's recent work, which treats the Hawking radiation as a semi-classical tunnelling process from the event horizon of four dimensional Schwarzshild and Reissner-Nordstrom black holes, to that of arbitrarily dimensional Reissner-Nordstrom de Sitter black hole. The result shows that the tunnelling rate is related to the change of Bekenstein-Hawking entropy and the factually radiant spectrum is no longer precisely thermal after taking the dynamical black hole background and energy conservation into account, but is consistent with the underlying unitary theory and then satisfies the first law of the black hole thermodynamics. Meanwhile, in Parikh-Wilzcek's framework, this paper points out that the information conservation is only suitable for the reversible process but in highly unstable evaporating black hole (irreversible process) the information loss is possible.  相似文献

In this paper, we extend Parikh's recent work to two kinds of the black holes whose ADM mass is no longer identical to its mass parameter, each with a topological defect, one being a global monopole black hole and another a cosmic string black hole. We view Hawking radiation as a tunnelling process across the event horizon and calculate the tunnelling probability. From the tunnelling probability we also find a leading correction to the semiclassical emission rate. The results are consistent with an underlying unitary theory.  相似文献

We present and contrast two distinct ways of including extremal black holes in a Lorentzian Hamiltonian quantization of spherically symmetric Einstein-Maxwell theory. First, we formulate the classical Hamiltonian dynamics with boundary conditions appropriate for extremal black holes only. The Hamiltonian contains no surface term at the internal infinity, for reasons related to the vanishing of the extremal hole surface gravity, and quantization yields a vanishing black hole entropy. Second, we give a Hamiltonian quantization that incorporates extremal black holes as a limiting case of nonextremal ones, and examine the classical limit in terms of wave packets. The spreading of the packets, even the ones centered about extremal black holes, is consistent with continuity of the entropy in the extremal limit, and thus with the Bekenstein-Hawking entropy even for the extremal holes. The discussion takes place throughout within Lorentz-signature spacetimes.  相似文献
