The wave-particle duality, as a manifestation of Bohr’s complementarity, is usually quantified in terms of path predictability and interference visibility. Various characterizations of the wave-particle duality have been proposed from an operational perspective, most of them are in forms of inequalities, and some of them are expressed in forms of equalities by incorporating entanglement or coherence. In this work, we shed different insights into the nature of the wave-particle duality by casting it into a form of information conservation in a multi-path interferometer, with uncertainty as a unified theme. More specifically, by employing the simple yet fundamental concept of variance, we establish a resolution of unity, which can be interpreted as a complementarity relation among wave feature, particle feature, and mixedness of a quantum state. This refines or reinterprets some conventional approaches to wave-particle duality, and highlights informational aspects of the issue. The key idea of our approach lies in that a quantum state, as a Hermitian operator, can also be naturally regarded as an observable, with measurement uncertainty (in a state) and state uncertainty (in a measurement) being exploited to quantify particle feature and wave feature of a quantum state, respectively. These two kinds of uncertainties, although both are defined via variance, have fundamentally different properties and capture different features of a state. Together with the mixedness, which is a kind of uncertainty intrinsic to a quantum state, they add up to unity, and thus lead to a characterization of the wave-particle-mixedness complementarity. This triality relation is further illustrated by examples and compared with some popular wave-particle duality or triality relations.  相似文献

Under the condition of an equal mixing of vector and scalar potentials, exact solutions of bound states of the Klein-Gordon equation with pseudo-Coulomb potential plus a new ring-shaped potential are presented. Simultaneously, energy spectrum equations are also obtained. In this paper, we extend the mapping deformation method proposed by Lou. It is used to find new exacttravelling wave solutions of nonlinear partial differential equation or coupled nonlinear partial differential equations(PDEs). Based on the idea of the homogeneous balance method, we construct the general mapping relation betweenthe solutions of the PDEs and those of the cubic nonlinear Klein-Gordon (NKG) equation. By using this relation andthe abundant solutions of the cubic NKG equation, many explicit and exact travelling wave solutions of three systemsof coupled PDEs, which contain solitary wave solutions, trigonometric function solutions, Jacobian elliptic functionsolutions, and rational solutions, are obtained.  相似文献

A new simple analytical diatomic potential energy function that can be considered an extension of the prototypical Lennard-Jones model is proposed and tested. Five- and six-parameter models are considered and these can be easily constructed from widely available low-order vibrational-rotational constants and the dissociation energy. Accuracy tests are carried out on the ground electronic states of sixteen diatomic molecules. The proposed six-parameter function is found to be more accurate than other available few-parameter analytical models for the diatomic potential energy, and has accuracy comparable to that of modern high-level ab initio functions.  相似文献

From a given solvable Fokker-Planck equation one can construct a number of other solvable models for diffusion in a stable or bistable potential fields using the Gel'fand-Levitan method of the inverse scattering theory. The simplest way of achieving this is to change the lowest eigenvalue and/or the normalization of the lowest eigenfunction of the ordinary differential equation obtained by separating the time-dependent part. For these cases it is shown that the new probability distribution is expressible in terms of integrals involving the original probability distribution and the Gel'fand-Levitan kernel. The possibility of changing the lowest eigenvalue enables one to find bistable potential fields which would correspond to a well-defined long time relaxation rate for the probability current.  相似文献

An exactly solvable model of the ballast resistor is considered. Analytic expressions are obtained for the nonuniform stationary temperature distributions and the correspondingI–V characteristics. A bifurcation point for Neumann boundary conditions is found and its analytic properties are discussed. ABSTRACT

A coupled Alice–Bob modified Korteweg de-Vries (mKdV) system is established from the mKdV equation in this paper, which is nonlocal and suitable to model two-place entangled events. The Lax integrability of the coupled Alice–Bob mKdV system is proved by demonstrating three types of Lax pairs. By means of the truncated Painlevé expansion, auto-Bäcklund transformation of the coupled Alice–Bob mKdV system and Bäcklund transformation between the coupled Alice–Bob mKdV system and the Schwarzian mKdV equation are demonstrated. Nonlocal residual symmetries of the coupled Alice–Bob mKdV system are researched. To obtain localized Lie point symmetries of residual symmetries, the coupled Alice–Bob mKdV system is extended to a system consisting six equations. Calculation on the prolonged system shows that it is invariant under the scaling transformations, space-time translations, phase translations and Galilean translations. One-parameter group transformation and one-parameter subgroup invariant solutions are obtained. The consistent Riccati expansion (CRE) solvability of the coupled Alice–Bob mKdV system is proved and some interaction structures between soliton–cnoidal waves are obtained by CRE. Moreover, Jacobi periodic wave solutions, solitary wave solutions and singular solutions are obtained by elliptic function expansion and exponential function expansion.  相似文献

This paper systematically presents the λ-deformation as the canonical framework of deformation to the dually flat (Hessian) geometry, which has been well established in information geometry. We show that, based on deforming the Legendre duality, all objects in the Hessian case have their correspondence in the λ-deformed case: λ-convexity, λ-conjugation, λ-biorthogonality, λ-logarithmic divergence, λ-exponential and λ-mixture families, etc. In particular, λ-deformation unifies Tsallis and Rényi deformations by relating them to two manifestations of an identical λ-exponential family, under subtractive or divisive probability normalization, respectively. Unlike the different Hessian geometries of the exponential and mixture families, the λ-exponential family, in turn, coincides with the λ-mixture family after a change of random variables. The resulting statistical manifolds, while still carrying a dualistic structure, replace the Hessian metric and a pair of dually flat conjugate affine connections with a conformal Hessian metric and a pair of projectively flat connections carrying constant (nonzero) curvature. Thus, λ-deformation is a canonical framework in generalizing the well-known dually flat Hessian structure of information geometry.  相似文献

In this article, we have reported electron impact total ionisation cross sections for the bio-molecules pyridine, pyrimidine, n-propylamine, urea, formamide and N-methylformamide from ionisation threshold to 2000 eV. The present calculations are based on the spherical complex optical potential formalism and complex scattering potential ionisation contribution method. The results obtained for pyridine and pyrimidine are compared with available theoretical and experimental results and are found to be in excellent agreement with existing data. The ionisation cross sections for other molecules are reported for the first time. An interesting relation between the peak of inelastic and ionisation cross sections with target parameters is also reported. It was found that both the cross sections at their maximum depend linearly with these parameters, confirming the consistency of the values reported here.  相似文献

We propose a generalized su(2) algebra that perfectly describes the discrete energy part of the Morse potential. Then, we examine particular examples and the approach can be applied to any Morse oscillator and to practically any physical system whose spectrum is finite. Further, we construct the Klauder coherent state for Morse potential satisfying the resolution of identity with a positive measure, obtained through the solution of truncated Stieltjes moment problem. The time evolution of the uncertainty relation of the constructed coherent states is analyzed. The uncertainty relation is more localized for small values of radius of convergence.  相似文献

We discuss questions pertaining to the definition of ‘momentum’, ‘momentum space’, ‘phase space’ and ‘Wigner distributions’; for finite dimensional quantum systems. For such systems, where traditional concepts of ‘momenta’ established for continuum situations offer little help, we propose a physically reasonable and mathematically tangible definition and use it for the purpose of setting up Wigner distributions in a purely algebraic manner. The effective pair potential of liquid semiconductor Se is extracted from its experimental structure factor data using an accurate liquid state theory and this shows important basic features. A model potential incorporating the basic features of the structure factor extracted potential is suggested. This model potential is then used to describe through low-order perturbation theory, the structure and related dynamical properties like self-diffusion coefficient and shear viscosity of this complex liquid over a wide range of temperatures.  相似文献

This study aimed was to examine the potential of several green extraction methods to extract cosmetic/cosmeceutical components from Macadamia integrifolia pericarps, which were a by-product of the macadamia nut industry. M. integrifolia pericarps were extracted by conventional solvent extraction process using 95% v/v ethanol and various green extraction methods, including infusion, ultrasound, micellar, microwave, and pulsed electric field extraction using water as a clean and green solvent. The extracts were evaluated for total phenolic content using Folin-Ciocalteu method. The antioxidant activities were evaluated by 1,1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH), 2,2′-azinobis (3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) (ABTS), ferric reducing/antioxidant power, and ferric-thiocyanate method. The anti-skin ageing activities were investigated by means of collagenase, elastase, and hyaluronidase inhibition using enzyme-substrate reaction assay. The irritation profile of the extracts was evaluated by the hen’s egg test-chorioallantoic membrane (HET-CAM) test. The results noted that ultrasound-assisted extraction yielded the significantly highest extract amount with the significantly highest total phenolic content (p < 0.05), especially when the extraction time was 10 min. The aqueous extract from ultrasound-assisted extraction possessed the most potent antioxidant and anti-skin ageing activities (p < 0.05). Its antioxidant activities were comparable to ascorbic acid and Trolox, whereas the anti-skin ageing activities were equivalent to epigallocatechin-3-gallate and oleanolic acid. Besides, the extract was safe since it induced no irritation in the HET-CAM test. Therefore, ultrasound-assisted extraction was suggested as an environmentally friendly extraction method for M. integrifolia pericarp extraction and further application in the cosmetic/cosmeceutical industries.  相似文献
