Previous work examined the effect of the attached stiffness matrix terms on stability of an elastic beam undergoing prescribed large overall motion. The aim of the present work is to extend the nonlinear formulations to an elastic beam with free large overall motion. Based on initial stress method, the nonlinear coupling equations of elastic beams are obtained with free large overall motion and the attached stiffness matrix is derived by solving sub-static formulation. The angular velocity and the tip deformation of the elastic pendulum are calculated. The analytical results show that the simulation results of the present model are tabled and coincide with the one-order approximate model. It is shown that the simulation results accord with energy conservation principle.  相似文献

液滴碰撞现象普遍存在于动力装置燃烧室喷嘴的下游区域,影响燃料的雾化性能。为了揭示相同直径的双液滴中心碰撞机理,求解了轴对称坐标系下的N-S方程,采用VOF(Volume of Fluid)方法捕捉液滴碰撞过程中气液自由表面的演化规律。利用Qian等提供的实验结果对计算模型进行数值校验,验证了模型的准确性。在此基础上,研究了环境压强对液滴碰撞反弹后不同结果(分离和融合)的影响,分析了环境压强和Weber数对液滴碰撞分离的影响。结果表明,液滴在碰撞反弹后的状态(分离或融合)是由液滴间气膜压强与环境气动阻力共同作用的结果,环境压强对液滴碰撞分离过程基本没有影响;Weber数越大,碰撞过程中变形的幅度越大。  相似文献

In this paper, based on the equations presented in [2], the head-on collision between two solitary waves described by the modified KdV equation (the mKdV equation, for short) is investigated by using the reductive perturbation method combined with the PLK method. These waves propagate at the interface of a two-fluid system, in which the density ratio of the two fluids equals the square of the depth ratio of the fluids. The second order perturbation solution is obtained. It is found that in the case of disregarding the nonuniform phase shift, the solitary waves preserve their original profiles after collision, which agrees with Fornberg and Whitham's numerical result of overtaking collision161 whereas after considering the nonuniform phase shift, the wave profiles may deform after collision.  相似文献

将具有完备动力学理论的非连续变形分析(DDA)方法应用于块体碰撞研究。基于三维DDA(3D DDA)方法,按时步输出块体碰撞过程速度变化和接触嵌入量,进而得到块体碰撞恢复系数、冲量、冲击力。以此为参考指标,采用斜抛、面-面对心等碰撞模型,验证3D DDA方法模拟块体碰撞的有效性,并将3D DDA方法应用于多米诺骨牌倾倒、滚石边坡成灾及防护等算例分析,探讨了多米诺骨牌倾倒机制、滚石启动及运动行为、滚石灾害防护方案。结果表明:多米诺骨牌间距越大,同一块体被碰撞时间越迟,其最终稳定时间也越迟,与下一块体碰撞的动能越大;滚石运动呈侧向平动及转动三维运动特征,每一次碰撞,均引起动能、轨迹或状态的显著变化;滚石拦挡设施弹簧刚度越大,越先达到最大冲击力,最大冲击力随弹簧刚度的增加而减小;可结合树木阻挡效应,耗散滚石动能,降低滚石飞跃高度,使滚石灾害减轻或控制在防护范围以内。  相似文献

对具有刚柔耦合效应的带裂纹旋转柔性梁进行建模和动力学特性分析研究。采用晶格弹簧离散模型,利用无质量弹簧模拟梁上裂纹,通过考虑梁变形的二阶耦合项建立了带裂纹旋转柔性梁系统的一次近似耦合动力学控制方程。数值计算结果表明,裂纹的存在会使旋转柔性梁的固有频率降低,并且随着梁转速的增大,这种降低效应呈减弱趋势;值得注意的是,裂纹梁的固有频率与裂纹处的弯矩具有正相关关系。此外,裂纹的存在不仅会使转速变化阶段梁的末端位移响应增大,还会对转速稳定后梁的末端振荡产生显著的影响。  相似文献

Feedback control of piecewise smooth discrete-time systems that undergo border collision bifurcations is considered. These bifurcations occur when a fixed point or a periodic orbit of a piecewise smooth system crosses or collides with the border between two regions of smooth operation as a system parameter is quasistatically varied. The class of systems studied is piecewise smooth maps that depend on a parameter, where the system dimension n can take any value. The goal of the control effort in this work is to replace the bifurcation so that in the closed-loop system, the steady state remains locally attracting and locally unique (“nonbifurcation with persistent stability”). To achieve this, Lyapunov and linear matrix inequality (LMI) techniques are used to derive a sufficient condition for nonbifurcation with persistent stability. The derived condition is stated in terms of LMIs. This condition is then used as a basis for the design of feedback controls to eliminate border collision bifurcations in piecewise smooth maps and to produce the desirable behavior noted earlier. Numerical examples that demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control techniques are given.  相似文献

A new 2D parallel multispecies polyatomic particle–based hybrid flow solver is developed by coupling the Direct Simulation Monte Carlo (DSMC) method with a novel Dynamic Collision Limiter (DCL) approach to solve multiscale transitional flows. The hybrid DSMC‐DCL solver can solve nonequilibrium multiscale flows with length scales ranging from continuum to rarefied. The DCL method, developed in this work, dynamically assigns different number of collisions in cells, which is based on the local value of K‐S parameter such that the number of collisions per time step is limited in near‐equilibrium flow regions. Present hybrid solver uses the Kolmogorov‐Smirnov statistical test as the continuum breakdown parameter, based on which, the solution domain is decomposed into near‐equilibrium and nonequilibrium flow regions. Direct Simulation Monte Carlo is used where nonequilibrium flow regions are encountered, while the DCL method is used where flow regions are found to be in near‐equilibrium state. In this work, we have studied hypersonic flow of nitrogen over a blunt body with an aerospike and supersonic flow of argon through a micronozzle. The results obtained by the hybrid DSMC‐DCL solver are compared and shown to agree well with the experimental data and with those obtained from DSMC, with significant savings in the computational cost.  相似文献

Based on Hamilton's principle,a new kind of fully coupled nonlinear dynamic model for a rotating rigid-flexible smart structure with a tip mass is proposed.The geometrically nonlinear effects of the axial,transverse displacement and rotation angle are considered by means of the first-order approximation coupling(FOAC)model theory, in which large deformations and the centrifugal stiffening effects are considered.Three kinds of systems are established respectively,which are a structure without piezoelectric layer,with piezoelectric layer in open circuit and closed circuit.Several simulations based on simplified models are presented to show the differences in characteristics between structures with and without the tip mass,between smart beams in closed and open circuit, and between the centrifugal effects in high speed rotating state or not.The last simulation calculates the dynamic response of the structure subjected to external electrical loading.  相似文献

By means of Lagrange duality theory of the convex program, a dual problem of Hill's maximum plastic work principle under Mises' yield condition has been derived and whereby a non-differentiable convex optimization model for the limit analysis is developed. With this model, it is not necessary to linearize the yield condition and its discrete form becomes a minimization problem of the sum of Euclidean norms subject to linear constraints. Aimed at resolving the non-differentiability of Euclidean norms, a smoothing algorithm for the limit analysis of perfect-plastic continuum media is proposed. Its efficiency is demonstrated by computing the limit load factor and the collapse state for some plane stress and plain strain problems.  相似文献

The consolidation analysis of interaction between structure and saturated soil foundation is discussed. With the use of substructure technique, the structure is condensed onto the interface of the soil, and then the consolidation governing equations to describe the interaction between soil and structure are derived, The solution with non-iterative algorithm is proposed in this paper. The pressure Master-Slave relation method is used to deal with the non-permeability conditions on soil boundaries. A numerical example is illustrated. This paper presents a theoretical model on the normal (head-on) collision between soft-spheres on the basis of elastic loading of the Hertz contact for compression process and a nonlinear plastic unloading for restitution one, in which the parameters all are determined in terms of the material and geometric ones of the spheres, and the behaviors of perfect elastic, inelastic, and perfect plastic collisions appeared in the classical mechanics are fully described once a value of coefficient of restitution is specified in the region of 0 ≤ ε ≤ 1. After an empirical formula of the coefficient of restitution dependent on the impact velocity is suggested to fit the existing experimental measurements by means of the least square method, the predictions of the dependency and the collision duration are in well quantitative agreement with their experimental measurements. It is found that the measurable quantities are dependent on both the impact velocity and the parameters of spheres. Following this model, finally, an approach to determine the spring coefficient in the linear viscoelastic model of the collision is also displayed. These results obtained here will be significantly beneficial for the applications where a collision model is requested in the simulations of relevant grain flows and impact dynamics etc..  相似文献

对固结于转动刚体上外接柔性梁的刚柔耦合动力学建模和频率特性进行了研究,在精确描述柔性梁非线性变形的基础上,利用Hamilton变分原理和假设模态法,在计入柔性梁由于横向变形而引起的轴向变形二阶耦合量的条件下,推导出考虑"动力刚化"项的一次近似耦合模型。首先忽略柔性梁纵向变形的影响,给出一次近似简化模型,引入无量纲变量,对简化模型做无量纲化处理,分析梁固有频率对模态截断数的依赖性;其次研究在一次近似简化模型和零次近似简化模型下,调谐角速度与共振现象的关系;最后分析一次近似耦合模型的动力特性。研究发现,为保证计算的精度,模态截断数应随无量纲角速度的增大而增加,合理的模态截断数具有收敛值;一次近似简化模型下悬臂梁横向弯曲振动不存在共振调谐角速度,一次耦合模型下柔性梁并没有出现屈曲失稳现象。现有典型文献的相关结论是值得商榷的。  相似文献

以某导管架结构的X斜撑在导管架安装阶段受到大吨位起重铺管船撞击后的损伤检测结果为依据。对碰撞过程进行了数值模拟,按照构件模型从简单到复杂的模拟思路得到了船舶对海洋平台结构的撞击力。建立了船舶与海洋平台碰撞系统的力学模型,对导管架平台受损构件进行了等效静力强度计算分析。为了考虑在船舶冲撞下的整体平台结构动力效应的影响,在分析时考虑了碰撞过程的水动力效应,桩-土-平台结构的相互作用,采用非线性弹簧来模拟受损构件局部凹陷损伤,在船舶以不同的速度与平台发生碰撞的情况下,模拟出平台受撞击构件的永久凹陷变形与碰撞接触时间的曲线.反演分析计算了船舶对平台结构碰撞的最大撞击力。为确定受到撞击后导管架平台结构构件和管节点的损伤程度,提出合理可行的修理加固方案提供了分析依据。  相似文献

D2Q9 model of lattice Boltzmann equation method was used to simulate the sedimentation of two circular particles in a bounded two dimension channel. The characteristics of the sedimentation shows some periodicity for the Reynolds number Re chosen, 0.1-20. The larger the Reynolds number, the stronger the interaction between the two particles and the larger the transversal displacements. For large Re, the two particles leading alternately; for small Re, the initially leading particle will keep its leading position and for moderate Re, the initially upper particle will get leading position and keep it. The influence of the initially relative position of the two particles on sedimentation is small. The width of the channel won't change the characteristics of the sedimentation as a whole, but will change the period of the sedimentation. The wider the channel, the longer the period will be.  相似文献
