Binuclear copper(II) complexes with acyldihydrazones of benzenedicarboxylic acid and trifluoroacetylacetone have been synthesized and studied. The structure of the copper(II) complex with diacylhydrazone of 1,3-benzenedicarboxylic acid (H4L) of composition [Cu2L · 2LPy] has been studied by X-ray diffraction. The crystals are triclinic: a = 9.2298(4) Å, b = 11.8510(6) Å, c = 13.8314(7) Å, α = 90.780(3)°, β = 96.124(3)°, γ = 99.264(3)°, space group \(P\bar 1\), Z = 2. The number of symmetry-unrelated reflections with I > 2σ(I) 5941; R = 0.0357, R w = 0.0589. The complex contains two equivalent copper atoms at a distance of 9.56 Å from each other in the square-planar coordination environment. The high-temperature EPR spectra of the complexes show a signal of seven HFS lines indicating the coupling of unpaired electrons to two equivalent copper nuclei (g = 2.113?2.116, a Cu = 37.0?37.2 × 10?4 cm?1).  相似文献

Binuclear copper(II) complexes with acyldihydrazones of 1,3- or 1,4 benzenedicarboxylic acid and 5-methyl- or 5-bromo-2-hydroxyacetophenone in which coordination polyhedra are connected by an aromatic bridge have been synthesized and studied. The structure of the copper(II) complex with diacylhydrazone of isophthalic acid and 2-hydroxy-5-methylacetophenone (H4L) of composition [Cu2L · 3Py] was studied by X-ray diffraction. The crystals are monoclinic: a = 12.1996(12) Å, b = 17.7295(17) Å, c = 17.9339(17) Å, β = 109.7450(10)°, space group P21/n, Z = 4. The complex is of the “dimer of dimers” type and contains two binuclear subunits that bind together into a centrosymmetric dimer owing to the coordination of the copper cation to the phenoxyl oxygen atom of a neighboring binuclear molecule to form the Cu2O2 moiety, in which the copper atoms are 3.409 Å apart. The distance between the copper(II) cations in the binuclear subunit is 8.56 atoms (2N + O) of the doubly deprotonated acylhydrazone moiety and the nitrogen atom of the pyridine molecule. One of the copper cation is additionally coordinated to an extra pyridine molecule so that its coordination sphere is completed to a tetragonal pyramid. The second copper atom is involved in additional interaction with the phenoxyl oxygen atom of the neighboring molecule. The EPR spectra of solutions of the binuclear complexes show an isotropic signal of four HFS lines (g o = 2.065–2.143, a Cu = 52.1–66.5 × 10?4 cm?1) typical of mononuclear copper(II) complexes.  相似文献

The structure of copper(II) complex with bis(salicylidene)hydrazone of terephthalic acid (H4L), [Cu2L(Pirr)4] · CH3OH, was determined by X-ray diffraction data. The crystals are monoclinic: a = 15.5142(7) Å, b = 13.8784(6) Å, c = 17.8873(8) Å; β = 91.990(2)°, space group C2/c, Z = 4. The number of symmetrically independent reflections was 4269, R = 0.0303, R w = 0.0827. The complex contains two equivalent copper atoms located at a 11.021 Å is a tetragonal pyramid. EPR spectral features of the adducts were studied.  相似文献

Polymer copper(II) complexes with 5-bromosalicylaldehyde heptanoylhydrazone (I) and 3,5-dibromosalicylaldehyde acetylhydrazone (II) are synthesized and structurally characterized. In complex I, the formation of the polymer is due to the coordination of the hydrazide nitrogen atom to the copper(II) ion of the adjacent fragment. In complex II, polymer formation is due to the binding of the monomer fragments by dipyridyl linkers (CIF files CCDC 947908 (I) and 947909 (II)).  相似文献

Three new copper(II) complexes with isonicotinic acid N-oxide (HL) and 1,10-phenanthroline (phen) as ligands, [Cu(L)(phen)(H2O)]2(NO3)2···2H2O (1), [Cu(L)(phen)(H2O)]2(ClO4)2···2H2O (2), and [Cu(L)(phen)Br]2- [Cu(L)(phen)(H2O)]2Br2···6H2O (3) have been synthesized and structurally characterized. The structures of all three complexes feature a Cu2 dimer formed by two Cu(II) ions interconnected by two bridging ligands. Each copper(II) ion has a distorted square pyramidal coordination geometry with elongated axial coordination by an aqua ligand or halogen anion. The isonicotinic acid N-oxide anion is bidentate, being coordinated to two Cu(II) ions through its N-O oxygen and one of its carboxylate oxygen atoms. Magnetic susceptibility measurements show a Curie–Weiss paramagnetic behavior characteristic of one unpaired electron for a copper(II) ion for all three complexes.  相似文献

Heteroligand complexes [Co2(HMTA)(iso-Bu2PS2)4] (I) (μeff = 4.67 μB) and [Cd2(HMTA)(iso-Bu2PS2)4] (II) have been synthesized. Single crystals of compounds I and II have been obtained. The crystals are monoclinic: a = 32.622(2) Å, b = 9.4891(6) Å, c = 21.7570(13) Å, β = 125.774(1)o, V = 5464.3(6) Å,3, Z = 4, ρcalcd = 1.331 g/cm3 for I; a = 34.6092(7) Å, b = 9.5595(2) Å, c = 22.3473(5) Å, β = 127.144(1)o, V = 5893.5(2) Å, Z = 4, ρcalcd = 1.355 g/cm3 for II; space group for both complexes C2/c. Structures I and II are based on discrete binuclear molecules. The coordination polyhedra of the Co and Cd atoms are distorted tetragonal pyramids NS4, with the bases formed by four S atoms of two bidentate chelating ligand iso-Bu2PS 2 ? and the axial vertices occupied by N atoms of bidentate bridging HMTA ligand. The character of interaction of the molecules in structures I and II is considered.  相似文献

Extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) measurements have been recorded at the K-edge of copper in binuclear monohydroxo-bridged copper(II) complexes [(bpy)2Cu–OH–Cu(bpy)2](ClO4)3 (1) and [(phen)2Cu–OH–Cu(phen)2](C1O4)3 (2) and dihydroxo-bridged copper(II) complexes [Cu2(μ–OH)2(bipy)2]SO4?·?5H2O (3) and [Cu2(μ–OH)2(phen)2]SO4?·?5H2O (4) (where bpy and phen are 2,2′-bipyridine and 1,10-phenanthroline, respectively) using the dispersive EXAFS beamline at 2?GeV Indus-2 synchrotron source at RRCAT, Indore, India. The EXAFS data have been analyzed using the software, Athena and Artemis. Theoretical models have been generated for 1 and 3 using available crystallographic data and then fitted to their experimental EXAFS data to obtain the structural parameters, which include bond-lengths, coordination numbers, and thermal disorders. The results obtained have been found to be comparable with their crystallographic results. As the crystallographic data for 2 and 4 are not available in the literature, we have determined their structural parameters by fitting their experimental EXAFS data with the same theoretical models which were generated for their corresponding analogous complexes 1 and 3, respectively. The structural parameters thus determined have been reported. Also, on the basis of the analysis of the EXAFS data, these four complexes have been shown to be binuclear, i.e. they contain two metals. Further, the values of the chemical shifts suggest that copper is in +2 oxidation state in these complexes.  相似文献

The structure and EPR spectra of copper(II) complexes with bis(salicylidene)hydrozones of N-benzoyl-L-aspartic and N-benzoyl-L-glutamic acids have been described. The compounds have been studied by chemical and thermal analyses, IR spectroscopy, and EPR spectroscopy. The molecular and crystal structure of the copper(II) complex with bis(salicylidene)hydrozone of N-benzoyl-L-aspartic acid (H4L) of composition [Cu2L · 2Py] · 2CH3OH · H2O has been determined by X-ray single-crystal diffraction. The crystals are monoclinic: a = 10.3316(7) Å, b = 16.7552(9) Å,c = 11.0137(6) Å, β = 105.758(3)°, space group P21, Z = 2. The complex has a polymeric structure composed of alternating copper-containing binuclear fragments bound to each other either via phenoxy bridges or via an aliphatic spacer (the Cu…Cu distances are 3.471 Å and 8.939 Å, respectively). The EPR spectra of the solutions of the complexes under study shows an isotropic signal comprising seven HFS lines due to two equivalent copper nuclei with the spin Hamiltonian parameters g = 2.115–2.122 and a Cu = (36.1–36.9) × 10?4 cm?1, which indicates the reaization of weak exchange coupling of the paramagnetic centers.  相似文献

The preparation, crystal structures and magnetic properties of the copper(II) complexes of formula [Cu(pyim)(tcm)(2)](n) (1), [Cu(bpy)(tcm)(2)](n) (2), [Cu(4)(bpz)(4)(tcm)(8)] (3), {[Cu(terpy)(tcm)].tcm}(n) (4) and {[Cu(2)(tppz)(tcm)(4)].3/2H(2)O}(n) (5) [pyim = 2-(2-pyridyl)imidazole, tcm = tricyanomethanide, bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine, bpz = 2,2'-bipyrazine, terpy = 2,2':6',2'-terpyridine and tppz = 2,3,5,6-tetrakis(2-pyridyl)pyrazine] are reported. Complexes, 1, 2 and 4 are uniform copper(II) chains with single- (1 and 4) and double-(2) micro-1,5-tcm bridges with values of the intrachain copper-copper separation of 7.489(1) (1), 7.520(1) and 7.758(1) (2) and 7.469(1) A (4). Each copper atom in 1, 2 and 4 is five-coordinate with bidentate pyim (1)/bpy (2) and tridentate terpy (4) ligands and nitrile-nitrogen atoms from bridging (1,2 and 4) and terminal (1) tcm groups building a distorted square pyramidal surrounding. The structure of 3 is made up of neutral centrosymmetric rectangles of (2,2'-bipyrazine)copper(II) units at the corners, the edges being built by single- and double-micro-1,5-tcm bridges with copper-copper separations of 7.969(1) and 7.270(1) A, respectively. Five- and six-coordinated copper atoms with distorted square pyramidal and elongated octahedral environments occur in . Compound 5 is a neutral copper(II) chain with regular alternating bis-tridentate tppz and double micro-1,5-tcm bridges, the intrachain copper-copper distances being 6.549(7) and 7.668(1) A, respectively. The two crystallographically independent copper atoms in 5 have an elongated octahedral geometry with three tppz nitrogen atoms and a nitrile-nitrogen atom from a bridging tcm group in the equatorial positions, and two nitrile nitrogen atoms from a terminal and a bridging tcm ligand occupying the axial sites. The investigation of the magnetic properies of 1-5 in the temperature range 1.9-295 K has shown the occurrence of weak ferro- [J = +0.11(1) cm(-1) (2)] and antiferromagnetic interactions [J = -0.093(1) (1), -0.083(1) (4), -0.04(1) and 1.21(1) cm(-1) (3)] across the micro-1,5-tcm bridges and intermediate antiferromagnetic coupling [-J = 37.4(1) cm(-1) (5)] through bis-tridentate tppz. The values of the magnetic interactions are analyzed through simple orbital symmetry considerations and compared with those previously reported for related systems.  相似文献

The reaction of [Cu(L)](ClO4)2 · H2O (L=1,3,10,12,16,19-hexaazatetracyclo[17,3,1,112.16,04.9]tetracosane) with NaN3 and Na2tp yields mononuclear and dinuclear copper(II) complexes, [Cu(L)(N3)](ClO4) (1) and [Cu(L)(μ-tp)](ClO4) · 2H2O (2). These complexes have been characterized by X-ray crystallography, electronic absorption, cyclic voltammetry and magnetic susceptibility. The crystal structure of (1) shows that the copper(II) ion has a distorted square-pyramidal geometry with the two secondary and two tertiary amines of the macrocycle and one nitrogen atom from the azide group coordinating the axial position. The copper(II) ions in (2) are bridged by the terephthalate anion to form a dinuclear complex, in which each copper(II) ion reveals a distorted square-pyramid with four nitrogen atoms of the macrocycle and the oxygen atom of bridging tp ligand. Cyclic voltammetry of the complexes gives two one-electron waves corresponding to CuII/CuIII and CuII/CuI processes. The magnetic susceptibility measurement for (2) exhibits a weak antiferromagnetic interaction between copper(II) centers with a 2J value of −2.21 cm−1 (H = −2JΣS1 · S2). The electronic spectra and electrochemical behavior of the complexes are significantly affected by the nature of the organic ligands.  相似文献

The reaction of a mixture of cis and trans-[PtCl2(SMe2)2] with 4,7-phen (4,7-phen = 4,7-phenanthroline) in a molar ratio of 1 : 1 or 2 : 1 resulted in the formation of mono and binuclear complexes trans-[PtCl2(SMe2)(4,7-phen)] (1) and trans-[Pt2Cl4(SMe2)2(μ-4,7-phen)] (2), respectively. The products have been fully characterized by elemental analysis, 1H, 13C{1H}, HHCOSY, HSQC, HMBC, and DEPT-135 NMR spectroscopy. The crystal structure of 1 reveals that platinum has a slightly distorted square planar geometry. Both chlorides are trans with a deviation from linearity 177.66(3)°, while the N–Pt–S angle is 175.53(6)°. Similarly, the reaction of a mixture of cis and trans-[PtBr2(SMe2)2] with 4,7-phen in a 1 : 1 or 2 : 1 mole ratio afforded the mono or binuclear complexes trans-[PtBr2(SMe2)(4,7-phen)] (3) and trans-[Pt2Br4(SMe2)2(μ-4,7-phen)] (4), respectively. The crystal structure of trans-[Pt2Br4(SMe2)2(μ-4,7-phen)].C6H6 reveals that 4,7-phen bridges between two platinum centers in a slightly distorted square planar arrangement of the platinum. In this structure, both bromides are trans, while the PtBr2(SMe2) moieties are syn to each other. NMR data of mono and binuclear complexes of platinum 14 show that the binuclear complexes exist in solution as a minor product, while the mononuclear complexes are major products.  相似文献

At room temperature, dibenzoyl peroxide undergoes oxidative addition reaction with metallic copper powder and pyridine N-oxide (triphenylphosphine oxide or 2,9-dimethyl-4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthrolin) which affords the last products as binuclear copper(II) complexes, [Cu(C5H5NO)-(C6H5COO)2]2(1), [Cu(OPPh3)(C6H5COO)2]2(2) and [Cu(C6H5COO)(C26H2oN2)](3, C26H2oN2 is 2,9-dimethyl-4,7-diphenyl-1,10-phenanthrolin). The structure of the complexes were characterized by elemental analyses, IR spectra, TG-DTA and magnetic property. Each copper(Ⅱ) ion is coordinated by two bridging bidentate benzoate ligands and one pyridine N-oxide or triphenylphosphine oxide to form dimeric binuclear molecules. The structure of the compound(1) shows a clear centre of symmetry.  相似文献

The crystal structures of the obtained complexes are determined by X-ray diffraction analysis (CIF files CCDC 984097 (I) and 930946 (II)). The crystals are monoclinic, for I: a = 18.8140(9) Å, b = 4.82500(14) Å, c = 16.0360(7) Å, β = 115.135(6)°, V = 1317.87(11) Å3, space group P21/c, Z = 2; for II: a = 32.9760(14) Å, b = 5.0911(3) Å, c = 15.7994(10) Å, β = 94.418(5)°, V = 2644.6(3) Å3, space group C2/c, Z = 4. In the structure of complex I, the Cu2+ ion arranged in the symmetry center is coordinated at the vertices of the distorted octahedron by the oxygen atoms of two NAA molecules (Cu-O(2) 2.019(4) Å) and two MEA molecules. The latter is the bidentate-chelating ligand and coordinates the metal through the O and N atoms to form the five-membered metallocycle (Cu-O(3) 2.457(5), Cu-N(1) 1.986(5) Å). In complex II, the Zn atom (on axis 2) is coordinated at the vertices of the distorted tetrahedron by the oxygen atoms of two NAA molecules (Zn-O(2) 1.976(4) Å) and the nitrogen atoms of two MEA molecules (Zn-N 2.034(6) Å). The character of the interaction of coordinated NAA and MEA ligands and methods for packing complexes I and II are considered on the basis of the structural data.  相似文献
