We apply two-photon resonant nondegenerate four-wave mixing with a resonant intermediate state to the obser-vation of the broadening and shifting of the barium Rydberg level 6s24d 1^D2 by collision with argon. The collision broadening and shifting cross sections are measured. This technique is purely optical, and can investigate the pressure dependence of the transverse relaxation rate-P21 between the Rydberg state and an intermediate state, as well as the transverse relaxation rate F20 between the Rydberg state and the ground state. 相似文献

The vector correlations between products and reagents for the reactions Ne+H + 2 , Ne+D + 2 , and Ne+T + 2 are calculated by means of the quasi-classical trajectory method on a new potential energy surface constructed by Lü et al. [J. Chem. Phys. 2010 132, 014303]. The polarization-dependent differential cross-sections (2π/σ)(dσ 00 /dω t ), (2π/σ)(dσ 20 /dω t ), (2π/σ)(dσ 22+ /dω t ), and (2π/σ)(dσ 21 /dω t ), and the distributions of P (θ r ), P (φ r ), and P (θ r ,φ r ) are calculated. The isotopic effect, which is associated with the difference in mass factor among the three reactions, is revealed. 相似文献

The dependence of the form of the scattering spectra on different detunings of the pump wavelength from the sodium doublet D-lines has been investigated. The spectral-angular characteristics of three-photon scattered radiation have been obtained. It has been shown that the composition of the scattered-radiation spectrum strongly depends on the pump radiation power density and the concentration of sodium atoms. We report a systematic line shape analysis study of the 6p7p configuration
based 1P1, 3D1 and 3P1 autoionizing
resonances in barium using a Nd:YAG pumped dye laser system in conjunction
with a thermionic diode ion detector. The even parity isolated autoionizing
resonances have been approached via four intermediate states 6 snp
1P1 (6 ≤n ≤8) and 5d6p 1P1. A comparison of
the Fano parameters of the resonance profiles reveals that the width of an
autoionizing resonance is independent of the excitation path while the line
profile parameter changes with the selection of different intermediate
