Configurational-bias Monte Carlo simulations were carried out in the Gibbs ensemble to generate phase equilibrium data for several carboxylic acids. Pure component coexistence densities and saturated vapor pressures were determined for acetic acid, propanoic acid, 2-methylpropanoic acid, and pentanoic acid, and binary vapor-liquid equilibrium (VLE) data for the propanoic acid + pentanoic acid and 2-methylpropanoic acid + pentanoic acid systems. The TraPPE-UA force field was used, as it has recently been extended to include parameters for carboxylic acids. To simulate the branched compound 2-methylpropanoic acid, certain minor assumptions were necessary regarding angle and torsion terms involving the -CH- pseudo-atom, since parameters for these terms do not exist in the TraPPE-UA force field. The pure component data showed good agreement with the available experimental data, particularly with regard to the saturated liquid densities (mean absolute errors were less than 1.1%). On average, the predicted critical temperature and density were within 1% of the experimental values. All of the binary simulations showed good agreement with the experimental x-y data. However, the TraPPE-UA force field predicts saturated vapor pressures of pure components that are larger than the experimental values, and consequently the P-x-y and T-x-y data of the binary systems also deviate from the measured data.  相似文献

The molecular-imprinted technique is applied for the preparation of a polymer selector by using methacrylic acid as functional monomer, ethyleneglycol dimethacrylate as the cross-linker, 2,2'-azobisisobutyronitrile as the initiator, and nicotinamide as the template. The adsorption isotherms of nicotinamide and nicotinic acid and the competitive adsorption isotherms of nicotinamide and nicotinic acid on the imprinted stationary phase are determined using rectangular pulse frontal analysis and static method. Aqueous solution is used as the mobile phase in frontal analysis. It is found that the adsorption data fit well to both Langmuir and Freundlich isotherm models.  相似文献

The extraction of levulinic acid by tricaprylmethylammonium chloride (Aliquat 336) dissolved in five alcohols solvents (isoamyl alcohol, hexan-1-ol, octan-1-ol, nonan-1-ol, decan-1-ol) and five esters solvents (dimethyl phthalate, dimethyl adipate, dimethyl succinate, dimethyl glutarate, diethyl carbonate), two ketones (diisobutyl ketone (DIBK), methyl isobutyl ketone (MIBK)) were investigated to understand effect of modifier on levulinic acid extraction. In addition to these Aliquat 336 + modifier system, the experiments were done also with single solvents. All measurements were carried out T = 298.15 K. Organic solutions of Aliquat 336 are being used increasingly to separate organic acids from aqueous mixture solutions by reactive extraction. The extent to which the organic phase may be loaded with levulinic acid is explained as a loading ratio, ZZ, extraction efficiency E and, distribution coefficients KD were calculated. The maximum extraction efficiency was obtained value of 72.1 for isoamyl alcohol. The extraction equilibrium constant, KE, has been calculated for each modifier. Furthermore, Freundlich, Langmuir, and LSER model equations have been obtained for experimental data of alcohols.  相似文献

A study of the ion chemistry of benzenethioic acid using ion cyclotron resonance techniques shows that a long-lived ion of composition C7H5S+ is formed from the reaction of the neutral acid with primary fragment ions, m/z 77 (phenyl) and m/z 105 (benzoyl). The product is assigned the thiobenzoyl structure on the basis df its mode of formation from benzoyl cations and tbe neutral acid. Other reactant ions (acetylium and thioacetylium) derived from mixtures of benzenethioic acid with ethanethioic acid or acetate esters similarly lead to thiobenzoyl ions as the major product The significance of these results as support for the thioacetylium structure of C2H3S+ ions from ethanethioic acid is discussed.  相似文献

A fused silica fibre coated with poly(dimethylsiloxane) was modified to produce a micro probe with ion exchanging capability. The liquid ion exchanger, di-(2-ethylhexyl)phosphoric acid (HDEHP), was used for the modification. The probe was used for the extraction of bismuth(III) from aqueous nitric acid solution. The extracted Bi(III) was desorbed into an acidic potassium iodide solution. The yellow colored BiI4 complex formed was determined by spectrophotometry.  相似文献

Poly(l ‐lactic acid) is a linear aliphatic thermoplastic polyester that can be produced from renewable resources. A poly(l ‐lactic acid)‐modified silica stationary phase was newly prepared by amide bond reaction between amino groups on aminopropyl silica and carboxylic acid groups at the end of the poly(l ‐lactic acid) chain. The poly(l ‐lactic acid)‐silica column was characterized in reversed‐phase liquid chromatography and hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography with the use of different mobile phase compositions. The poly(l ‐lactic acid)‐silica column was found to work in both modes, and the retention of test compounds depending on acetonitrile content exhibited “U‐shaped” curves, which was an indicator of reversed‐phase liquid chromatography/hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography mixed‐mode retention behavior. In addition, carbonyl groups included into the poly(l ‐lactic acid) backbone work as an electron‐accepting group toward a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon and provide π–π interactions.  相似文献

建立了利用中空纤维三相液相微萃取-高效液相色谱联用技术(HF-LPME-HPLC)同时测定环境水中痕量麦草畏(dicamba)、氟草烟(fluroxypyr)、4-氯苯氧乙酸(4-CPA)、2甲4氯(MCPA)、2,4-滴(2,4-D)、2,4-滴苯氧丁酸(2,4-DB)和2甲4氯苯氧丁酸(MCPB)等7种苯氧羧酸类除草剂的分析方法。考察了萃取剂﹑接受相和给出相pH值、萃取时间﹑搅拌速度和盐效应等对检测的影响,通过正交试验优化萃取条件,得到的最佳萃取条件为正辛醇作萃取剂,给出相pH为3,接受相pH为12,萃取30 min,搅拌速度400 r/min。结果表明7种除草剂在较宽的线性范围内线性良好,相关系数为0.9953~0.9988,检出限(信噪比为3)为0.2~1.0 μg/L,富集倍数为76.7~121,加标回收率为68%~104%,相对标准偏差为3.2%~8.1%。该法灵敏度高、操作简单、检测快速、有机溶剂消耗少,为环境水样中痕量苯氧羧酸类除草剂残留的分析提供了有益的参考。  相似文献

建立了固相萃取-高效液相色谱(SPE-HPLC)同时测定蜂蜜中5种有机酸(L-苹果酸、马来酸、琥珀酸、柠檬酸、D-苹果酸)含量的方法。蜂蜜经制样后过Bond Elutes SAX固相萃取(SPE)小柱净化,用C18-MS-II反相色谱柱(250 mm×4.6 mm, 5 μm)进行分离,流动相为2%偏磷酸溶液,流速为0.7 mL/min,检测波长为210 nm。在此条件下5种有机酸在相应的线性范围内其线性相关系数均大于0.9967;方法的回收率为86.0%~103.9%,相对标准偏差为5.7%~9.8%(n=6),检出限为0.06~9.4 mg/kg。所建立的方法可用于蜂蜜样品中有机酸的测定。  相似文献

Mesomorphic copolymers were synthesized by incorporating varying ratios of azelaic acid and (+)-3-methyl adipic acid into copolyesters based upon 4,4′-dihydroxybiphenyl. Introduction of the phenylene (+)-3-methyl adipate unit broadens the temperature range of the nematic phase of the azelate homopolymer and, at the same time, produces a chiral nematic (cholesteric) mesophase which exhibits various iridescent colors. Circular dichroism measurements were used to determine the pitch of the cholesteric liquid crystals. The pitch decreased gradually with increasing temperature, and the inverse pitch increased in direct proportion to the molar content of the units containing (+)-3-methyl adipate. The twisted cholesteric structure could be conserved by quenching to produce films with various colors at room temperature. Annealing these films at a temperature immediately below that of the crystal–mesophase transition improved the regularity of the cholesteric structure.  相似文献

A novel three‐phase hollow fiber liquid‐phase microextraction was developed based on reverse micelle as extraction solvent and acceptor phase, and compared with conventional two‐phase hollow fiber liquid‐phase microextraction. Both procedures were used in the extraction and concentration of four cinnamic acids (caffeic acid, p‐hydroxycinnamic acid, ferulic acid, and cinnamic acid) in traditional Chinese medicines prior to high‐performance liquid chromatography analysis. Parameters affecting the two procedures were investigated and optimized to obtain the optimum enrichment factors. The mechanism of the developed procedure was explored and elucidated by comparison with conventional two‐phase hollow fiber liquid‐phase microextraction. Under the optimized conditions, the analytes’ enrichment factors were between 50 and 118 for the proposed procedure, and 31–96 for conventional two‐phase mode. Satisfactory linear ranges (r2 ≥ 0.99), detection limits (0.1–0.6 ng/mL), precisions (<9.2%), and accuracies (recoveries: 80–123.1%) were observed for the two procedures. The results showed that the enrichment capacity of the proposed procedure for the cinnamic acids is better than that of conventional two‐phase procedure, and both are eco‐friendly, simple, and effective for the enrichment and detection of cinnamic acids in traditional Chinese medicines.  相似文献

Solid phase thermal polycondensation of aspartic acid in evacuated system results in formation of poly(aspartic acid) at 190–207°C and in poly(succinimide) at 210–230°C. Kinetic parameters of formation of poly(aspartic acid) and poly(succinimide) have been determined. The aspartic acid → poly(aspartic acid) → poly(succinimide) polycondensation is accompanied by partial decarboxylation of the monomeric units.  相似文献

We have studied the energetics and structural properties of trans-cinnamic acid (CA), o-, m-, and p-coumaric acids (2-, 3-, and 4-hydroxycinnamic acids), caffeic acid (3,4-dihydroxycinnamic acid), ferulic acid (4-hydroxy-3-methoxycinnamic acid), iso-ferulic acid (3-hydroxy-4-methoxycinnamic acid), and sinapic acid (3,5-dimethoxy-4-hydroxycinnamic acid). The experimental values of Δ(f)H(m)°(g), determined (in kJ·mol(-1)) for CA (-229.8 ± 1.9), p-coumaric acid (-408.0 ± 4.4), caffeic acid (-580.0 ± 5.9), and ferulic acid (-566.4 ± 5.7), allowed us to derive Δ(f)H(m)°(g) of o-coumaric acid (-405.6 ± 4.4), m-coumaric acid (-406.4 ± 4.4), iso-ferulic acid (-565.2 ± 5.7), and sinapic acid (-698.8 ± 4.1). From these values and by use of isodesmic/homodesmotic reactions, we studied the energetic effects of π-donor substituents (-OH and -OCH(3)) in cinnamic acid derivatives and in the respective benzene analogues. Our results indicate that the interaction between -OCH(3) and/or -OH groups in hydroxycinnamic acids takes place without significant influence of the propenoic fragment.  相似文献

The complete separation of structurally similar compounds has been a challenge due mainly to their similarity on physical and chemical properties. In the present study, a simple and effective chromatographic method to separate and purify nocathiacin acid from its structural analogue nocathiacin I was developed. After evaluating mobile phase compositions on the retention characteristics by reversed phase high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), the elution order of nocathiacin I and nocathiacin acid was completely reversed, and the resolution value between the two analogues was improved, by varying pH value and ionic strength, to greater than 10 from merged peaks under initial conditions. In addition, a preparative isolation of nocathiacin acid was performed by reversed phase column chromatography under the guidance of the HPLC study. This chromatographic method resulted in an efficient process to obtain pure nocathiacin acid with a recovery rate of 83%. The present approach offers a new methodology for the separation of structurally closely related secondary metabolites.  相似文献

Phase diagrams of low-molecular-weight polyethylene (M = 1000, 2000, 6500, 16,000) and polyethylene (M ≈ 1,000) after fuming nitric acid treatment have been determined from 20 to 300°C up to pressures of about 10 kbar. The fractions with molecular weights 1000 and 2000 do not exhibit the hexagonal phase, but the others do. Effects of molecular weight and fuming nitric acid treatment on the phase diagrams are discussed in terms of the entropy of the melt.  相似文献

In this study, it is demonstrated that silver nanoparticles can be transferred from formamide to chloroform using oleic acid as a phase transfer agent with a transfer efficiency of 90–95%. The silver nanoparticles are initially formed as an organosol by the reduction of silver ions with formamide. On aging the complex, the particles self-assemble to form an ordered close-packed two-dimensional array of silver nanocrystals when dissolved in CHCl3. The size distribution of the colloidal silver particles after transfer in different solvents remains almost the same. On the basis of IR spectroscopy, we discuss the adsorption of oleic acid over the silver particles.  相似文献

Petroleum essentially consists of a mixture of organic compounds, mainly containing carbon and hydrogen, and, in minor quantities, compounds with nitrogen, sulphur, and oxygen. Some of these compounds, such as naphthenic acids, can cause corrosion in pipes and equipment used in processing plants. Considering that the methods of separation or clean up the target compounds in low concentrations and in complex matrix use large amounts of solvents or stationary phases, is necessary to study new methodologies that consume smaller amounts of solvent and stationary phases to identify the acid components present in complex matrix, such as crude oil samples. The proposed study aimed to recover acid compounds using the solid phase extraction method, employing different types of commercial stationary ion exchange phases (SAX and NH(2)) and new phase alumina functionalized with 1,4-bis(n-propyl)diazoniabicyclo[2.2.2]octane chloride silsesquioxane (Dab-Al(2)O(3)), synthesized in this work. Carboxylic acids were used as standard mixture in the solid phase extraction for further calculation of recovery yield. Then, the real sample (petroleum) was fractionated into saturates, aromatics, resins, and asphaltenes, and the resin fraction of petroleum (B1) was eluted through stationary ion exchange phases. The stationary phase synthesized in this work showed an efficiency of ion exchange comparable to that of the commercial stationary phases.  相似文献

Nonlinear optical (NLO) rigid main‐chain polyesters containing azobenzene mesogens with high thermal and temporal stabilities were synthesized from derivatives of hydroxyphenylazobenzoic acid. The NLO properties of the homopolymer, poly[4‐(4‐hydroxy‐3‐methyl phenyl)azo]benzoic acid, and copolymers of 4‐[(4‐hydroxy‐3‐methylphenyl)azo]benzoic acid, 4‐[(4‐hydroxy‐2‐methylphenyl)azo]benzoic acid, and 4‐[(4‐hydroxy‐2‐pentadecyl phenyl)azo]benzoic acid (PSCpHBA) with p‐HBA were measured by the Maker fringe technique. The thermal and liquid‐crystalline (LC) phase behaviors of the polymers were examined by differential scanning calorimetry, a thermal‐stimulated polarization current, and polarized light microscopy. The polymers except PSCpHBA exhibited nematic‐threaded and Schlieren textures. The LC orientations give rise to an enhanced NLO response. The polymers had high thermal and temporal stabilities for second‐harmonic generation activity because of their rigid aromatic backbone. This study suggests that the rigid aromatic main chain exhibiting an LC phase is a promising simple method to synthesize highly stable NLO polymers. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Crystals of partially neutralized stearic acid with triethanolamine (TEA) were prepared by mixing these two materials above 80 degrees C and then cooling. The crystalline composition and the structure and melting behavior of the resultant products were characterized with small-angle and wide-angle X-ray diffraction, thermal analysis, microscopy, and infrared spectroscopy. It was discovered that an acid-soap complex of 2:1 fixed stoichiometric ratio exists between stearic acid and TEA stearate. A binary phase diagram of stearic acid and TEA soap is built based on the experimental results; this is the first published record of a binary phase diagram for amine-based soap. Its behavior is significantly different from that of binary systems of fatty acid and alkali soap.  相似文献

A second Australian family with the genetic disease Hawkinsinuria has been identified. Affected members excrete hawkinsin and cis- and trans-4-hydroxycyclohexylacetic acid. An infant in this family presented with metabolic acidosis and excreted quinolacetic acid and pyroglutamic acid in the urine together with the tyrosine derived phenolic acids reported in the original index case. It is thought that quinolacetic acid is accumulated as a by-product of the partially defective enzyme, 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase (EC 1.13.11.27) and that pyroglutamic acid indicated lowered glutathione levels.  相似文献
