Crystal structure, thermogravimetry (TG), thermal expansion coefficient (TEC), electrical conductivity and AC impedance of (Ba0.5Sr0.5)1-xLaxCo0.8Fe0.2O3-δ (BSLCF; 0.05?x?0.20) were studied in relation to their potential use as intermediate temperature solid oxide fuel cell (IT-SOFC) cathode. A single cubic pervoskite was observed by X-ray diffraction (XRD). The TEC of BSLCF was increasing slightly with the increasing content of La, and all the compounds showed abnormal expansion at high temperature. Proved by the TG result, it was associated with the loss of lattice oxygen. The electrical conductivity, which is the main defect of Ba0.5Sr0.5 Co0.8Fe0.2O3-δ (BSCF), was improved by La doping, e.g., the compound of x=0.20 demonstrated a conductivity of σ=376 S cm−1 at 392 °C. The increase of electrical conductivity resulted from the increased concentration of charge carrier induced by La doping. In addition, the AC impedance revealed the better electrochemical performance of BSLCF. For example, at 500 °C, the sample with composition x=0.15 yielded the resistance values of 2.12 Ω cm2, which was only 46% of BSCF.  相似文献

The Ce6−xYxMoO15−δ solid solution with fluorite-related structure have been characterized by differential thermal analysis/thermogravimetry (DTA/TG), X-ray diffraction (XRD), IR, Raman, scanning electric microscopy (SEM) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) methods. The electric conductivity of samples is investigated by Ac impedance spectroscopy. An essentially pure oxide-ion conductivity of the oxygen-deficiency was observed in pure argon, oxygen and air. The highest oxygen-ion conductivity was found in Ce5.5Y0.5MoO15−δ ranging from 5.9×10−5 (S cm−1) at 300 °C to 1.3×10−2 (S cm−1) at 650 °C, respectively. The oxide-ion conductivities remained stable over 80 h-long test at 800 °C. These properties suggested that significant oxide-ionic conductivity exists in these materials at moderately elevated temperatures.  相似文献

Ba0.6Sr0.4TiO3 ceramics were prepared by a citrate precursor method. The structure and nonlinear dielectric properties of the resulting ceramics were investigated within the sintering temperature range 1200-1300 °C. Adopting fine Ba0.6Sr0.4TiO3 powder derived from the citrate method was confirmed to be effective in reducing the sintering temperatures required for densification. The ceramic specimens sintered at 1230-1280 °C presented relative densities of around 95%. A significant influence of sintering temperature on the microstructure and nonlinear dielectric properties was detected. The discrepancy in nonlinear dielectric behavior among the specimens sintered at different temperatures was qualitatively interpreted in terms of the dielectric response of polar micro-regions under bias electric field. The specimens sintered at 1230 and 1250 °C attained superior nonlinear dielectric properties, showing relatively low dielectric losses (tan δ) of 0.24% and 0.22% at 10 kHz together with comparatively large figure of merits (FOM) of 121 and 142 at 10 kHz and 20 kV/cm, respectively.  相似文献

Transport properties and non-stoichiometry of La1−xCaxW1/6O2 and La1−yW1/6O2 (x=0, 0.005, 0.05; y=0.05, 0.1) have been characterized by means of impedance spectroscopy, the EMF-technique, H+/D+ isotope exchange, and thermogravimetry in the temperature range 300-1200 °C as a function of oxygen partial pressure and water vapor partial pressure. The materials exhibit mixed ionic and electronic conductivities; n- and p-type electronic conduction predominate at high temperatures under reducing and oxidizing conditions, respectively. Protons are the major ionic charge carrier under wet conditions and predominates the conductivity below ∼750 °C. The maximum in proton conductivity is observed for LaW1/6O2 with values reaching 3×10−3 S/cm at approximately 800 °C. The high proton conductivity for the undoped material is explained by assuming interaction between water vapor and intrinsic (anti-Frenkel) oxygen vacancies.  相似文献

The temperature dependences of DC electrical resistivity for perovskite-type oxides Y1−xCaxCoO3 (0?x?0.1), prepared by sol-gel process, were investigated in the temperature range from 20 K up to 305 K. The results indicated that with increase of doping content of Ca the resistivity of Y1−xCaxCoO3 decreased remarkably, which was found to be caused mainly by increase of carrier (hole) concentration. In the whole temperature range investigated the temperature dependence of resistivity ρ(T) for the un-doped (x=0) sample decreased exponentially with decreasing temperature (i.e. ln ρ∝1/T), with a conduction activation energy ; the resisitivity of lightly doped oxide (x=0.01) possessed a similar temperature behavior but has a reduced Ea (0.155 eV). Moreover, experiments showed that the relationship ln ρ∝1/T existed only in high-temperature regime for the heavily doped samples (T?82 and ∼89 K for x=0.05 and 0.1, respectively); at low temperatures Mott's ln ρT−1/4 law was observed, indicating that heavy doping produced strong random potential, which led to formation of considerable localized states. By fitting of the experimental data to Mott's T−1/4 law, we estimated the density of localized states N(EF) at the Fermi level, which was found to increase with increasing doping content.  相似文献

Ag-network was successfully deposited by VA-EP (vacuum assisted electroless plating) method on Pr1.6Sr0.4NiO4-YSZ cathode to form (1−x) wt% Pr1.6Sr0.4NiO4wt% YSZ-Ag (x=0, 10, 20, 30, 40) (abbr. PYx-Ag) composite cathode. XRD results suggested that there was a good chemical stability between Pr1.6Sr0.4NiO4 and YSZ at temperatures below 1050 °C. PY20-Ag cathode exhibited higher exchange current density, lower overpotential and ASR (Area Specific Resistance) than PY20 cathode. At 650 °C, the ASR of PY20-Ag cathode was 2.5 Ω cm2, which was only about 42% of that of PY20, 5.9 Ω cm2. PY20-Ag can be a promising candidate for SOFC cathode.  相似文献

We report the use of a novel powder-in-sol precursor hybrid processing route to synthesize dense, homogeneous, and fine-crystalline Ba0.6Sr0.4TiO3-MgO (BST-MgO) ceramics as well as the study of the sintering behavior, microstructures, and dielectric properties of the ceramics. Nanosized BST powders are dispersed into BST sol-gel precursor and uniformly distributed BST slurry is obtained after ball-milling mixing. Mg(NO3)·6H2O solution is added to the BST slurry to give homogeneous BST-MgO slurry upon ball-milling mixing. The BST-MgO slurry is dried and calcined prior to pressing and sintering at low temperatures of 1200-1300 °C to form the ceramics. The ceramics possess very low dielectric loss tangent below 0.005 for frequency above 1 kHz and for temperature in the range −190-80 °C. The dielectric constant and dielectric tunability increase, while the ferroelectric transition broadening decreases, with increasing average grain size.  相似文献

The redox behavior of perovskite-type La0.90Sr0.10Al0.85−xFexMg0.15O3−δ (x=0.20-0.40) mixed conductors was analyzed by the Mössbauer spectroscopy and measurements of the total conductivity and Seebeck coefficient in the oxygen partial pressure range from 10−20 to 0.5 atm at 1023-1223 K. The results combined with oxygen-ion transference numbers determined by the faradaic efficiency technique in air, were used to calculate defect concentrations, mobilities, and partial ionic and p- and n-type electronic conductivities as a function of oxygen pressure. The redox and transport processes can be adequately described in terms of oxygen intercalation and iron disproportionation reactions, with the thermodynamic functions independent of defect concentrations. No essential delocalization of the electronic charge carriers was found. The oxygen non-stoichiometry values estimated from the conductivity vs. p(O2) dependencies, coincide with those evaluated from the Mössbauer spectra.  相似文献

Ca1−xBixNb1−xCrxO3 (x=0.01-0.5) ceramic powders were synthesized using the sol-gel process. The single-phase solids can be presented at x=0.01 and 0.03. The coexistence of orthorhombic perovskite and the secondary phase of BiCrO3 was verified, as presented for x=0.05-0.5. Grains with a micro-cube topography were obtained for x=0.3-0.5. The average grain size is about 0.4 and 1.1 μm for x=0.3 and 0.5, respectively. The highest dielectric constant peak was measured at around 55 °C for x=0.5 and at 75 °C for x=0.3. The high dielectric constant was caused by the formation of barrier layers at the interface of the bi-phase mixed ceramics. Space charge polarization contributed to the observed behavior.  相似文献

The effect of post sintering annealing on the dielectric response of (Pb1−xBax)(Yb0.5Ta0.5)O3 ceramics in the diffuse phase transition range (x=0.2) has been investigated. The samples are prepared by conventional solid-state reaction method. The samples are sintered at 1300 °C for 2 h and annealed at different temperatures (800, 900 and 1000 °C) for 8 h and at 800 °C for different time durations (8, 12 and 24 h). A significant change in the dielectric response has been observed in all the samples. The dielectric constant increases remarkably and the dielectric loss tangent decreases. The dielectric peaks of the annealed samples are observed to be more diffused with noticeable frequency dispersion compared to the as sintered sample.  相似文献

Lead-free (K0.5Na0.5)0.90Li0.06Sr0.02Nb(1−x)SbxO3 (KNLSN-Sbx) ceramics were synthesized by ordinary sintering technique. The compositional dependence of phase structure and electrical properties of the ceramics was systematically investigated. All samples possessed pure perovskite structure, showing room temperature symmetries of orthorhombic at x<0.01, coexistence of orthorhombic and tetragonal phases at x=0.01, and tetragonal at 0.02≤x≤0.05. The temperature of the polymorphic phase transition (PPT) was shifted to lower temperature and dielectric relaxor behavior was induced by increasing Sb content. The samples near the coexistence region (x=0.01) exhibited enhanced electrical properties: d33∼145 pC/N, kp∼38% and Pr∼20.4 μC/cm2.  相似文献

Preparation of LaNi1 − xFexO3, which is one of the candidate materials of solid oxide fuel cell cathode, current collecting layer and interconnect coating was examined with Pechini method and solid state reaction method. Single phase LaNi1 − xFexO3 with large Ni content has successfully been prepared by low temperature sintering as 750 °C with Pechini method, whereas large amount of raw materials has remained with solid state reaction method by sintering at the same temperature. It can be ascribed to more homogenous cation distribution in raw powder material prior to sintering with Pechini method. It has also been revealed that LaNi1 − xFexO3 with x lower than 0.3 is thermodynamically unstable in air above 1000 °C. LaNi0.6Fe0.4O3 showed superior property as cathode material with high electrical conductivity, thermodynamic stability and appropriate sintering property.  相似文献

Field cooling (FC) poled/unpoled PMN-29%PT single crystal and room temperature (RT) poled/unpoled PMN-34.5%PT textured ceramic were investigated between ∼0 and 300 °C by thermal expansion, dielectric and Raman spectroscopy. New phase transitions are evidenced at 40, 91 and 180 °C in the case of FC PMN-29%PT as well as at 70 and 200 °C for RT PMN-34.5%PT and their order is discussed. The physical properties of the textured ceramics are rather similar to the ones observed for the single crystals that make them low-cost alternative for a wide range of applications. However, the temperatures and character of the phase transitions strongly depend on the kind of the poling conditions. Temperature dependences of the Raman line parameters show that the NbO6 octahedra remain stable during temperature increase, while TiO6 ones evolve quasi-continuously. The step transitions of the Pb2+ ion sublattice are evidenced. This suggests that the TiO6 and Pb2+ sublattices are especially coupled. The role of the TiO6 clusters on the structural phase transitions and dielectric properties of the PbMg1/3Nb2/3O3-xPbTiO3 (PMN-PT) system is discussed. The presence of the Raman modes above the maximum dielectric permittivity reveals that the local symmetry is lower than the cubic one (Pm3m). The decrease of the Raman line intensities vs. temperature indicates precisely the continuous evolution of the local symmetry towards the cubic one. The temperature evolution of the Rayleigh wing parameters appears sensitive to the phase transitions’ presence.  相似文献

The nanocrystalline materials with the general formula Bi85Sb15−xNbx (x=0, 0.5, 1, 2, 3) were prepared by mechanical alloying and subsequent high-pressure sintering. Their transport properties involving electrical conductivity, Seebeck coefficient and thermal conductivity have been investigated in the temperature range of 80-300 K. The absolute value of Seebeck coefficient of Bi85Sb13Nb2 reaches a maximum of 161 μV/K at 105 K, which is 69% larger than that of Bi85Sb15 at the same temperature. The power factor and figure-of-merit are 4.45×10−3 WK−2m−1 at 220 K and 1.79×10−3 K−1 at 196 K, respectively. These results suggest that thermoelectric properties of Bi85Sb15 based material can be improved by Nb doping.  相似文献

EuCo2(Si1−xGex)2, x=0, 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 0.9, 1 samples were synthesised by induction melting followed by annealing at 900 °C and rapid quenching. X-ray powder diffraction and Auger electron spectroscopy studies revealed that solid solutions are formed only for x?0.2 and x?0.7. Magnetic susceptibility investigations for the solid solutions revealed a dominant divalent europium valence state in the germanium-rich samples and a dominant trivalent europium component in the silicon-rich samples. In the germanium-rich samples, a long-range antiferromagnetic ordering was observed. In all samples studied, additional magnetic transitions at various temperatures were detected, which could be attributed to small clusters containing different europium chemical surrounding from that in the predominant phase.  相似文献

Nanoparticles of Co1−xZnxFe2O4 with stoichiometric proportion (x) varying from 0.0 to 0.6 were prepared by the chemical co-precipitation method. The samples were sintered at 600 °C for 2 h and were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), low field AC magnetic susceptibility, DC electrical resistivity and dielectric constant measurements. From the analysis of XRD patterns, the nanocrystalline ferrite had been obtained at pH=12.5–13 and reaction time of 45 min. The particle size was calculated from the most intense peak (3 1 1) using the Scherrer formula. The size of precipitated particles lies within the range 12–16 nm, obtained at reaction temperature of 70 °C. The Curie temperature was obtained from AC magnetic susceptibility measurements in the range 77–850 K. It is observed that Curie temperature decreases with the increase of Zn concentration. DC electrical resistivity measurements were carried out by two-probe method from 370 to 580 K. Temperature-dependent DC electrical resistivity decreases with increase in temperature ensuring the semiconductor nature of the samples. DC electrical resistivity results are discussed in terms of polaron hopping model. Activation energy calculated from the DC electrical resistivity versus temperature for all the samples ranges from 0.658 to 0.849 eV. The drift mobility increases by increasing temperature due to decrease in DC electrical resisitivity. The dielectric constants are studied as a function of frequency in the range 100 Hz–1 MHz at room temperature. The dielectric constant decreases with increasing frequency for all the samples and follow the Maxwell–Wagner's interfacial polarization.  相似文献

The relations among the densification, microstructural evolution, and microwave dielectric properties of the (1−x)CaTiO3-xLaGaO3 ceramics with x=0.34 and 0.36 were investigated in this study. The results indicated that (1−x)CaTiO3−xLaGaO3 ceramics can be densified at 1300 °C with at least 97% of the theoretical value. The ceramics reported an orthorhombic perovskite structure, and no other detectable phases were found. Both εr and Q×f values can be improved by slowing the cooling rate during sintering. The εr and Q×f values of the 0.64CaTiO3-0.36LaGaO3 ceramics at cooling rates of >10 °C/min and 0.1 °C/min are 48.1 and 27,500 and 48.7 and 38,000, respectively. The higher densification obtained at a slower cooling rate plays an important role in improving the microwave dielectric properties.  相似文献

The magnetic and magnetoresistive properties of spinel-type Zn1−xCoxFe2O4 (x=0, 0.2 and 0.4) ferrites are extensively investigated in this study. A large negative magnetoresistance (MR) effect is observed in Zn1−xCoxFe2O4 ferrites of spinel structure. These materials are either ferrimagnetic or paramagnetic at room temperature, and show a spin-(cluster) glass transition at low temperatures, depending on the chemical compositions. The MR curves as a function of magnetic fields, MR(H), are parabolic at all temperatures for paramagnetic polycrystalline ZnFe2O4. The MR for ZnFe2O4 at 110 K in the presence of 9 T applied magnetic field is 30%. On the other hand, MR(H) are linear for x=0.2 and 0.4 ferrimagnetic Zn1−xCoxFe2O4 samples up to 9 T. The MR effect is independent of the sintering temperatures, and can be explained with the help of the spin-dependent scattering and the Yafet–Kittel angle of Zn1−xCoxFe2O4 mixed ferrites.  相似文献

In this study, magnetic and magnetocaloric properties of Pr0.68Ca0.32−xSrxMnO3 (x=0, 0.1, 0.18, 0.26 and 0.32) compounds were investigated. X-ray results indicated that all the samples have a single phase of orthorhombic symmetry. The orthorhombic unit cell parameters increase with the increase in Sr content. Large negative magnetic entropy changes (−26.2 J/kg K at 38 K and 5 T for x=0 and −6.5 J/kg K at 83 K and 6 T for x=0.1) were attributed to ultrasharp metamagnetic transitions. The peak value of ΔSm decreased from −4.1 J/kg K for x=0.18 sample to −2.4 J/kg K for x=0.32 at 1 T magnetic field.  相似文献

The La1−xMgxFeO3 powder was prepared by sol-gel method using citric acid. The compounds crystallized were perovskite phase with orthorhombic structure. The Mg-doping restrains the growth of the grain size. The conductivity and gas sensing of La1−xMgx FeO3-based sensors were investigated. We found the La0.92Mg0.08 FeO3-based sensors have the best response and selectivity to ethanol gas. Great differences on the conductance-temperature curves of La0.92Mg0.08 FeO3-based sensors between in ethanol gas and air or other gas such as H2, CO and CH4 were also found. The conductance in ethanol gas decreased with temperature from 130 to 240 °C. But in air and other gas such as H2, CO and CH4 the conductance increases all the time. It indicates that at 240 °C the conductance difference between air and ethanol was the biggest and the response reach the maximum.  相似文献
