In this work, an electrochemical dihydronicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH) sensor based on the catalytic growth of Au nanoparticles (Au NPs) on glassy carbon electrode was developed. Catalyzed by Au NPs immobilized on pretreated glassy carbon electrode, the reduction of AuCl4 ? in the presence of hydroquinone and cetyltrimethyl ammonium chloride led to the formation of enlarged Au NPs on the electrode surface. Spectrophotometry and high-resolution scanning electronic microscope (SEM) analysis of the sensor morphologies before and after biocatalytic reaction revealed a diameter growth of the nanoparticles. The catalytic growth of Au NPs on electrode surface remarkably facilitated the electron transfer and improved the performance of the sensor. Under optimal conditions, NADH could be detected in the range from 1.25?×?10?6 to 3.08?×?10?4 M, and the detection limit was 2.5?×?10?7 M. The advantages of the proposed sensor, such as high precision and sensitivity, fast response, low cost, and good storage stability, made it suitable for on-line detection of NADH in complex biological systems and contaminant degradation processes.

Polyaniline (PANI)/Au composite nanotubes were synthesized and developed as an electrode material for a nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NADH) sensor. A MnO2 self-degradable template method was used to prepare the tube-like PANI nanomaterial. By introducing PANI nanotubes into Au colloid, Au nanoparticles (NPs) were successfully decorated onto the surface of PANI nanotubes through electrostatic effects. The morphology, composition, and optical properties of the resulting products were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, ultraviolet-visible (UV-vis) absorption spectra, and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). In addition, the obtained PANI/Au composites were used as catalysts for the electrochemical oxidation of NADH. Cyclic voltammogram (CV) experiments indicated that PANI/Au-modified glassy carbon electrode showed a higher electrocatalytic activity towards the oxidation of NADH in a neutral environment. Differential pulse voltammogram (DPV) results illustrated that the fabricated NADH sensor had excellent anti-interference ability and displayed a wide linear range from 4?×?10?4 to 8?×?10?3 M with a detection limit of 0.5?×?10?7 M.  相似文献

In this work, a gold nanoparticles/graphitizing carbon felt electrode (AuNPs/GCFE) was fabricated and a disposable sensor was thus fabricated to detect nitrite quickly and conveniently. The kinetic parameters of the electrode were studied in phosphate buffer solution (PBS). Under the optimal conditions, by using cyclic voltammetry, the oxidation peak current was linear with the concentration of nitrite in the range from 1.00 × 10?6 M to 3.35 × 10?3 M, with a detection limit of 9.50 × 10?7 M (3S/k). The influence of various anions on nitrite detection was studied, and the results showed that the fabricated sensor had good specificity toward nitrite.  相似文献

An organically modified sol‐gel electrode using 3‐aminopropyltrimethoxy silane for covalent immobilization of a redox mediator namely toluidine blue has been reported. Cyclic voltammetric characterization of the modified electrode in the potential range of 0.2 V to ?0.6 V exhibited stable voltammetric behavior in aqueous supporting electrolyte with a formal potential of ?0.265 V vs. SCE, corresponding to immobilized toluidine blue. The electrocatalytic activity of the modified electrode when tested towards nitrite ion exhibited a favorable response with the electrocatalytic reduction of nitrite occurring at a reduced potential of ?0.34 V. A good linear working range from 2.94×10?6 M to 2.11×10?3 M with a detection limit of 1.76×10?6 M and quantification limit of 5.87×10?6 M was obtained for nitrite determination. The stable and quick response (4 s) of the modified electrode towards nitrite under hydrodynamic conditions shows the feasibility of using the present sensor in flow systems. Significant improvements in the operational stability by overcoming the leachability problem and repeatability with a relative standard deviation of 1.8% of the TB thin film sensor have been obtained by the strategy of immobilization of the mediator in the sol‐gel matrix.  相似文献

In this work, we report on the preparation of a simple, sensitive DNA impedance sensor. Firstly gold nanoparticles were electrodeposited on the surface of a gold electrode, and then probe DNA was immobilized on the surface of gold nanoparticles through a 5′‐thiol‐linker. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) was used to investigate probe DNA immobilization and hybridization. Compared to the bare gold electrode, the gold nanoparticles modified electrode could improve the density of probe DNA attachment and the sensitivity of DNA sensor greatly. The difference of electron transfer resistance (ΔRet) was linear with the logarithm of complementary oligonucleotides sequence concentrations in the range of 2.0×10?12 to 9.0×10?8 M, and the detection limit was 6.7×10?13 M. In addition, the DNA sensor showed a fairly good reproducibility and stability during repeated regeneration and hybridization cycles.  相似文献

This work reports the novel application of carbon‐coated magnetite nanoparticles (mNPs@C) as catalytic nanomaterial included in a composite electrode material (mNPs@C/CPE) taking advantages of their intrinsic peroxidase‐like activity. The nanostructured electrochemical transducer reveals an enhancement of the charge transfer for redox processes involving hydrogen peroxide. Likewise, mNPs@C/CPE demonstrated to be highly selective even at elevated concentrations of ascorbic acid and uric acid, the usual interferents of blood glucose analysis. Upon these remarkable results, the composite matrix was further modified by the addition of glucose oxidase as biocatalyst, in order to obtain a biosensing strategy (GOx/mNPs@C/CPE) with enhanced properties for the electrochemical detection of glucose. GOx/mNPs@C/CPE exhibit a linear range up to 7.5×10?3 mol L?1 glucose, comprising the entirely physiological range and incipient pathological values. The average sensitivity obtained at ?0.100 V was (1.62±0.05)×105 nA L mol?1 (R2=0.9992), the detection limit was 2.0×10?6 M while the quantification limit was 6.1×10?6 mol L?1. The nanostructured biosensor demonstrated to have an excellent performance for glucose detection in human blood serum even for pathological values.  相似文献

A novel non-enzymatic electrochemical sensor based on a nanoporous gold electrode modified with platinum nanoparticles was constructed for the determination of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). Platinum nanoparticles exhibit good electrocatalytic activity towards hydrogen peroxide. The nanoporous gold (NPG) increases the effective surface area and has the capacity to promote electron-transfer reactions. With electrodeposition of Pt nanoparticles (NPs) on the surface of the nanoporous gold, the modified Au electrode afforded a fast, sensitive and selective electrochemical method for the determination of H2O2. The linear range for the detection of H2O2 was from 1.0 × 10?7 M to 2.0 × 10?5 M while the calculated limit of detection was 7.2 × 10?8 M on the basis of the 3σ/slope (σ represents the standard deviation of the blank samples). These findings could lead to the widespread use of electrochemical sensors to detect H2O2.  相似文献

A novel highly sensitive electrochemiluminescence (ECL) detection protocol for mercury(II) ions was developed. Based on the strong and stable thymine? thymine mismatches complexes coordination chemistry, mercury(II) ions can specifically bind to a designed DNA strand, leading to the release of the complimentary DNA strand. The released DNA strand was then captured by magnetic beads modified with specific DNA, and then through the formation of DNA‐linked luminol‐Au nanoparticles (NPs) superstructure, a specific ECL system for mercury(II) ions was developed. Using 3‐aminopropyl‐triethoxysilane as an effective enhancer, the ECL system can detect Hg2+ ion within a linear range from 2.0×10?10 mol L?1 to 2.0×10?8 M, with a detection limit as low as 1.05×10?10 M (3σ). Moreover, this ECL system is highly specific for Hg2+, without interference from other commonly coexisted metal ions, and it can be used for the analysis of real samples.  相似文献

A novel electrochemical sensor for sensitive detection of methyldopa at physiological pH was developed by the bulk modification of carbon paste electrode (CPE) with graphene oxide nanosheets and 3‐(4′‐amino‐3′‐hydroxy‐biphenyl‐4‐yl)‐acrylic acid (3,′AA). Applying square wave voltammetry (SWV), in phosphate buffer solution (PBS) of pH 7.0, the oxidation current increased linearly with two concentration intervals of methyldopa, one is 1.0×10?8–1.0×10?6 M and the other is 1.0×10?6–4.5×10?5 M. The detection limit (3σ) obtained by SWV was 9.0 nM. The modified electrode was successfully applied for simultaneous determination of methyldopa and hydrochlorothiazide. Finally, the proposed method was applied to the determination of methyldopa and hydrochlorothiazide in some real samples.  相似文献

In this work, a sensitive electrochemical DNA biosensor for the detection of sequence‐specific target DNA was reported. Firstly, CuO nanospindles (CuO NS) were immobilized on the surface of a glassy carbon electrode (GCE). Subsequently, gold nanoparticles (Au NPs) were introduced to the surface of CuO NS by the electrochemical deposition mode. Probe DNA with SH (HS‐DNA) at the 5′‐phosphate end was covalently immobilized on the surface of the Au NPs through Au? S bond. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was used to elucidate the morphology of the assembled film, and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy technique (EIS) was used to investigate the DNA sensor assembly process. Hybridization detection of DNA was performed with differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) and the methylene blue (MB) was hybridization indicator. Under the optimal conditions, the decline of reduction peak current of MB (ΔI) was linear with the logarithm of the concentration of complementary DNA from 1.0×10?13 to 1.0×10?6 mol·L?1 with a detection limit of 3.5×10?14 mol·L?1 (S/N=3). In addition, this DNA biosensor has good selectivity, and even can distinguish single‐mismatched target DNA.  相似文献

A new modified carbon paste electrode (CPE) based on a recently synthesized ligand [2‐mercapto‐5‐(3‐nitrophenyl)‐1,3,4‐thiadiazole] (MNT), self‐assembled to gold nanoparticles (GNP) as suitable carrier for Cd(II) ion with potentiometric method are described. The proposed electrode exhibits a Nernstian slope of 29.4±1.0 mV per decade for Cd(II) ion over a wide concentration range from 3.1×10?8 to 3.1×10?4 mol L?1. The detection limit of electrode was 2.0×10?8 mol L?1 of cadmium ion. The potentiometric responses of electrode based on MNT is independent of the pH of test solution in the pH range 2.0–4.0. It has quick response with response time of about 6 s. The proposed electrode show fairly good selectivity over some alkali, alkaline earth, transition and heavy metal ions. Finally, the proposed electrode was successfully employed to detect Cd(II) ion in hair and water samples.  相似文献

Pt‐nanoparticles were synthesized and introduced into a carbon paste electrode (CPE), and the resulting modified electrode was applied to the anodic stripping voltammetry of copper(II) ions. The synthesized Pt‐nanoparticles were characterized by cyclic voltammetry, scanning electron microscopy and X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy techniques to confirm the purity and the size of the prepared Pt‐nanoparticles (ca. 20 nm). This incorporated material seems to act as catalysts with preconcentration sites for copper(II) species that enhances the sensitivity of Cu(II) ions to Cu(I) species at a deposition potential of ?0.6 V in an aqueous solution. The experimental conditions, such as, the electrode composition, pH of the solution, pre‐concentration time, were optimized for the determination of Cu(II) ion using as‐prepared electrode. The sensitivity changes on the different binder materials and the presence of surfactants in the test solution. The interference effect of the coexisted metals were also investigated. In the presence of surfactants, especially TritonX‐100, the Cu(II) detection limit was lowered to 3.9×10?9 M. However, the Pt‐nanoparticle modified CPE begins to degrade when the period of deposition exceeds to 10 min. Linear response for copper(II) was found in the concentration range between 3.9×10?8 M and 1.6×10?6 M, with an estimated detection limit of 1.6×10?8 M (1.0 ppb) and relative standard deviation was 4.2% (n=5).  相似文献

A promising electrochemical nitrite sensor was fabricated by immobilizing Au@Fe3O4 nanoparticles on the surface of L ‐cysteine modified glassy carbon electrode, which was characterized by scanning electron microscopy, X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and cyclic voltammetry. The proposed sensor exhibited excellent electrocatalytic activity toward nitrite oxidation. The kinetic parameters of the electrode reaction process were calculated, (1–α)nα was 0.38 and the heterogeneous electron transfer coefficient (k) was 0.13 cm s?1. The detection conditions such as supporting electrolyte and pH value were optimized. Under the optimized conditions, the linear range for the determination of nitrite was 3.6×10?6 to 1.0×10?2 M with a detection limit of 8.2×10?7 M (S/N=3). Moreover, the as‐prepared electrode displayed good stability, repeatability and selectivity for promising practical applications.  相似文献

Tripropylamine (TPA) is a highly toxic and carcinogenic compound, therefore, TPA concentration in water must be monitored to protect health and the environment. In this paper, an electrochemiluminescent (ECL) sensor was fabricated by immobilising Ru(bpy)32+‐modified CuO nanoparticles (NPs) on a TiO2 nanotube array (TN) electrode. Compared to an ECL sensor fabricated by immobilising Ru(bpy)32+ on a TN only electrode, the as‐prepared sensor displays a 30 % enhanced ECL signal and a detection limit of 9.6×10?10 M at a signal‐to‐noise ratio=3 with the concentration of TPA in a range 1×10?9 to 1×10?5 M. The results from this study indicated a new approach for the enhancement of performance of ECL sensor in detecting TPA in water.  相似文献

A new sensor, gold‐6‐amino‐2‐mercaptobenzothiazole (6A2MBT), was fabricated via a self‐assembly procedure. Electrochemical properties of the monolayer were investigated by cyclic voltammetry (CV) and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). The modified electrode showed excellent antifouling property against the oxidation products of DA, allowed us to construct a dynamic calibration curve with two linear parts, 1.00×10?6 to 3.72×10?4 and 3.72×10?4 to 6.42×10?4 M DA, with correlation coefficients of 0.997 and 0.992 and a detection limit of 1.57×10?7 M DA by using differential pulse voltammetry (DPV), respectively. Finally, the performance of the Au‐6A2MBT modified electrode was successfully tested for electrochemical detection of DA in a pharmaceutical sample.  相似文献

The nature of binding between Terazosin (TR) and gold nanoparticles (Au‐Nps) is investigated using UV‐vis and fluorescence spectroscopies, cyclic voltammetry, SEM, and EIS. The results suggest that Au‐Nps are effective carriers for TR. An electrochemical sensor for TR is introduced using Au‐Nps electrodeposited on carbon paste electrode. The effect of parameters including pH and scan rate on the response was investigated. A linear range from 8.0×10?9 to 5.4×10?5 mol L?1 with correlation coefficient of 0.9995 and detection limit of 1.2×10?10 mol L?1 was obtained. This sensor was used for determining TR spiked in urine, and excellent recovery results are achieved.  相似文献

This study aims to synthesize gold nanoparticles/biphenol–biphenoquinone (AuNPs−BOH−BQ) and to study its application as a novel heterogeneous electron transfer mediator to modify carbon paste electrode (CPE/Au NPs−BOH−BQ) for ultra-trace determination of captopril (CP). Characterization results show well dispersed Au NPs with sizes in the range of 8.0–10.5 nm. Under optimized conditions, the calibration plot was linear from 1 to 5×104 nM (two segments, 1–150 nM and 0.15–50.0 μM) and the detection limit was calculated to be 0.4 nM (S/N=3). Finally, the suggested sensor showed stable and reliable responses to CP in CP pharmaceutical tablet and urine samples.  相似文献

A new triiodide ion‐selective electrode based on a charge‐transfer complex of iodine with ditertbutyl‐dicyclohexyl‐18‐crown‐6 (t‐Bu)2DC18C6 as membrane carrier was prepared. The electrode has a linear dynamic range from 6.3 × 10?3‐5 × 10?6 with a Nernstian response of 58.6 ± 1 mV decade?1 and a detection limit of 1.3 × 10?6 M. The response time of the sensor was 25 s. The membrane could be used for two months without any divergence in potentials. The electrode exhibits an anti‐Hofmeistetr selectivity sequence with a preference for triiodide at pH 2.0‐10.0. The response mechanism of the electrode was investigated by Uv‐Vis spectroscopic technique. The electrode can be used for the determination of ascorbic acid in orange juice.  相似文献

A new analytical methodology for the electrochemical detection of the herbicide maleic hydrazide (3,6‐dihydroxypyridazine) by flow injection analysis is presented. This method is supported by the novel application of a palladium‐dispersed carbon paste electrode as an amperometric sensor for this herbicide. Maleic hydrazide shows anodic electrochemical activity on carbon‐based electrodes (glassy carbon or carbon paste electrodes) in all the pH range. This electrochemical activity is enhanced using metal‐dispersed carbon paste electrodes, especially at Pd‐dispersed CPE which displays good oxidation signals at 690 mV (0.050 M phosphate buffer pH 7.0), 140 mV lower than at unmodified electrodes. Under the optimized conditions, the electroanalytical performance of Pd‐dispersed CPE in flow injection analysis was excellent, with good reproducibility (RSD 3.3%) and a wide linear range (1.9×10?7 to 1.0×10?4 mol L?1). A detection limit of 1.4×10?8 mol L?1 (0.14 ng maleic hydrazide) was obtained for a sample loop of 100 μL at a fixed potential of 700 mV in 0.050 M phosphate buffer solution at pH 7.0 and a flow rate of 2.0 mL min?1. The proposed method was applied for the maleic hydrazide detection in natural drinking water samples.  相似文献

This study describes a fast and simple methodology for the preparation of Cerium (III) Hexacyanoferrate (II) (CeHCF) nanoparticles (NPs). The NPs were characterized by fourier transform infrared (FTIR), x‐ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and cyclic voltammetry (CV). The CeHCF cyclic voltammogram indicate a well‐defined redox pair assigned as Fe2+/Fe3+ in the presence of cerium (III), with a formal potential of Eθ′=0.29 V (v=100 mV s?1, KNO3; 1.0 mol/L, pH 7.0). The carbon paste electrode modified with CeHCF (CeHCF‐CPE) was applied to the catalytic electrooxidation of dopamine applying Differential Pulse Voltammetry (DPV). DPV showed linear response at two concentration ranges, from 9.0×10?7 to 8.0×10?6 and 9.0×10?6 to 1.0×10?4 mol/L, with an LOD of 1.9×10?7 and 1.0×10?5 mol/L, respectively. The CeHCF‐CPE exhibited selectivity against substances commonly found in biological samples, with redox potentials close to that of dopamine, such as urea and ascorbic acid (AA). Subsequently the CeHCF‐CPE was successfully applied to the detection of dopamine in simulated urine samples, with recovery percentages ranging between 99 and 103%.  相似文献
