We prove that, given a countable groupG, the set of countable structures (for a suitable languageL)U G whose automorphism group is isomorphic toG is a complete coanalytic set and ifGH thenU G is Borel inseparable fromU H . We give also a model theoretic interpretation of this result. We prove, in contrast, that the set of countable structures forL whose automorphism group is isomorphic to ℤ p ,p a prime number, is Π 1 11 1 -complete.  相似文献

Let Ω be a compact Hausdorff space, X a Banach space, C(Ω, X) the Banach space of continuous X-valued functions on Ω under the uniform norm, U: C(Ω, X) → Y a bounded linear operator and U #, U # two natural operators associated to U. For each 1 ≤ s < ∞, let the conditions (α) U ∈ Π s (C(Ω, X), Y); (β)U # ∈ Π s (C(Ω), Π s (X, Y)); (γ) U # ε Π s (X, Π s (C(Ω), Y)). A general result, [10, 13], asserts that (α) implies (β) and (γ). In this paper, in case s = 2, we give necessary and sufficient conditions that natural operators on C([0, 1], l p ) with values in l 1 satisfies (α), (β) and (γ), which show that the above implication is the best possible result.  相似文献

The so-called weakly d-Koszul-type module is introduced and it turns out that each weakly d-Koszul-type module contains a d-Koszul-type submodule. It is proved that, M ∈ W H J^d(A) if and only if M admits a filtration of submodules: 0 belong to U0 belong to U1 belong to ... belong to Up = M such that all Ui/Ui-1 are d-Koszul-type modules, from which we obtain that the finitistic dimension conjecture holds in W H J^d(A) in a special case. Let M ∈ W H J^d(A). It is proved that the Koszul dual E(M) is Noetherian, Hopfian, of finite dimension in special cases, and E(M) ∈ gr0(E(A)). In particular, we show that M ∈ W H J^d(A) if and only if E(G(M)) ∈ gr0(E(A)), where G is the associated graded functor.  相似文献

Let G be a finite group andA be a normal subgroup ofG. We denote by ncc(A) the number ofG-conjugacy classes ofA andA is calledn-decomposable, if ncc(A)= n. SetK G = {ncc(A)|A ⊲ G}. LetX be a non-empty subset of positive integers. A groupG is calledX-decomposable, ifK G =X. Ashrafi and his co-authors [1-5] have characterized theX-decomposable non-perfect finite groups forX = {1, n} andn ≤ 10. In this paper, we continue this problem and investigate the structure ofX-decomposable non-perfect finite groups, forX = {1, 2, 3}. We prove that such a group is isomorphic to Z6, D8, Q8, S4, SmallGroup(20, 3), SmallGroup(24, 3), where SmallGroup(m, n) denotes the mth group of ordern in the small group library of GAP [11].  相似文献

A dominating set in a graph G is a connected dominating set of G if it induces a connected subgraph of G. The minimum number of vertices in a connected dominating set of G is called the connected domination number of G, and is denoted by γ c (G). Let G be a spanning subgraph of K s,s and let H be the complement of G relative to K s,s ; that is, K s,s = GH is a factorization of K s,s . The graph G is k-γ c -critical relative to K s,s if γ c (G) = k and γ c (G + e) < k for each edge eE(H). First, we discuss some classes of graphs whether they are γ c -critical relative to K s,s . Then we study k-γ c -critical graphs relative to K s,s for small values of k. In particular, we characterize the 3-γ c -critical and 4-γ c -critical graphs.  相似文献

In this work we study the problem of the existence of bifurcation in the solution set of the equation F(x, λ)=0, where F: X×R k →Y is a C 2-smooth operator, X and Y are Banach spaces such that XY. Moreover, there is given a scalar product 〈·,·〉: Y×Y→R 1 that is continuous with respect to the norms in X and Y. We show that under some conditions there is bifurcation at a point (0, λ0)∈X×R k and we describe the solution set of the studied equation in a small neighbourhood of this point.  相似文献

A bounded linear operatorA:XX in a linear topological spaceX is called ap-involution operator,p≥2, ifA p=I, whereI is the identity operator. In this paper, we describe linearp-involution operators in a linear topological space over the field ℂ and prove that linear operators can be continued to involution operators. It is proved that a based-free action α of a given compact Lie groupG on the Hilbert cubeQ is equivalent to the standard based-free action σ if and only if the orbit spaceQ 0/α of the free partQ 0=Q* is aQ-manifold having the proper homotopy type of the orbit spaceQ 0/σ. The existence of an equivariant retraction (Q 0, σ)→(Q 0, α) is established. It is proved that for any TikhonovG-spaceX the family of all equivariant mapsX→ conG separates the points and the closed sets inX. If a setXE n has non-emptyk-dimensional interior, or if some point isk-dimensional surrounded, then the classic theorem of E. Steinitz may be extended. For example ifXE n has int k X ≠ 0, (0 ≦kn) and ifp ɛ int conX, thenp ɛ int conY for someYX with cardY≦2nk+1.  相似文献

This paper merges some classifications of G-M-type Banach spaces simplifically, discusses the condition of K 0(B(X)) = 0 for operator algebra B(X) on a Banach space X, and obtains a result to improve Laustsen's sufficient condition, gives an example to show that XX 2 is not a sufficient condition of K 0(B(X)) = 0.  相似文献

Minimal, strongly proximal actions of locally compact groups on compact spaces, also known asboundary actions, were introduced by Furstenberg in the study of Lie groups. In particular, the action of a semi-simple real Lie groupG on homogeneous spacesG/Q, whereQG is a parabolic subgroup, are boundary actions. Countable discrete groups admit a wide variety of boundary actions. In this note we show that ifX is a compact manifold with a faithful boundary action of some locally compact groupH, then (under some mild regularity assumption) the groupH, the spaceX, and the action split into a direct product of a semi-simple Lie groupG acting onG/Q and a boundary action of a discrete countable group. We define and study a class of summable processes, called additive summable processes, that is larger than the class used by Dinculeanu and Brooks [D-B]. We relax the definition of a summable processesX:Ω×ℝ+EL(F, G) by asking for the associated measureI X to have just an additive extension to the predictableσ-algebra ℘, such that each of the measures (I X) z , forz∈(L G p )*, beingσ-additive, rather than having aσ-additive extension. We define a stochastic integral with respect to such a process and we prove several properties of the integral. After that we show that this class of summable processes contains all processesX:Ω×ℝ+EL(F, G) with integrable semivariation ifc 0G.  相似文献

LetG denote the set of decreasingG: ℝ→ℝ withGэ1 on ]−∞,0], and ƒ 0 G(t)dt⩽1. LetX be a compact metric space, andT: X→X a continuous map. Let μ denone aT-invariant ergodic probability measure onX, and assume (X, T, μ) to be aperiodic. LetU⊂X be such that μ(U)>0. Let τ U (x)=inf{k⩾1:T k xεU}, and defineG U (t)=1/u(U)u({xεU:u(UU(x)>t),tεℝ We prove that for μ-a.e.x∈X, there exists a sequence (U n ) n≥1 of neighbourhoods ofx such that {x}=∩ n U n , and for anyGG, there exists a subsequence (n k ) k≥1 withG U n k U weakly. We also construct a uniquely ergodic Toeplitz flowO(x ,S, μ), the orbit closure of a Toeplitz sequencex , such that the above conclusion still holds, with moreover the requirement that eachU n be a cylinder set. A new method of estimating the solutions of the Navier-Stokes equations for a viscous compressible barotropic fluid in a bounded domain Ω⊂ℝ3 is suggested, which makes it possible to investigate the problem for the whole scale of anisotropic spaces W 2 l+2,l/2+1 (QT), QT=Ω×(0,T), for arbitrary l>1/2. We prove that a homogeneous effective spaceM=G/H, whereG is a connected Lie group andH⊂G is a compact subgroup, admits aG-invariant Riemannian metric of positive Ricci curvature if and only if the spaceM is compact and its fundamental group π1(M) is finite (in this case any normal metric onG/H is suitable). This is equivalent to the following conditions: the groupG is compact and the largest semisimple subgroupLG⊂G is transitive onG/H. Furthermore, ifG is nonsemisimple, then there exists aG-invariant fibration ofM over an effective homogeneous space of a compact semisimple Lie group with the torus as the fiber. Some classes of cuspidal domainsG ⊂ ℝ n are introduced, and embeddings of the formW p (l) (G)↪Lq(G),l ∈ ℕ, for sobolev spaces are established. To this end, estimates of some integral operators are needed. These operators cannot be estimated via Riesz potentials or their anisotropic analogs. Let X denote a specific space of the class of X α,p Banach sequence spaces which were constructed by Hagler and the first named author as classes of hereditarily ℓp Banach spaces. We show that for p > 1 the Banach space X contains asymptotically isometric copies of ℓp. It is known that any member of the class is a dual space. We show that the predual of X contains isometric copies of ℓp where 1/p + 1/q = 1. For p = 1 it is known that the predual of the Banach space X contains asymptotically isometric copies of c 0. Here we give a direct proof of the known result that X contains asymptotically isometric copies of ℓ1.  相似文献
