Small particles embedded in the solid state can assume facetted shapes that indicate the anisotropy in interfacial free energy between the particle and the embedding phase. Previous in situ transmission electron microscopy (TEM) of Al–In has shown that such facetted nanoparticles with cubic symmetry embedded in a solid can produce a series of complex melt configurations. To determine the dependence of melt configuration on solid–solid facet energies, this work numerically calculates the equilibrium melt trajectory for a family of cuboctahedral particles parameterized by the ratio of matrix–particle interfacial free energies for orientations taken with respect to the crystal axes of the matrix, ??=?γ100111. The calculations assume that equilibrium occurs with the minimization of the total interfacial free energy to determine the stable internal melt configuration for a fixed volume of melt confined within a member of the cuboctahedral family. At particular melt volume fractions, abrupt transitions in shape occur when a stable configuration reaches a touching or necking instability. In situ TEM of a dilute Al alloy containing embedded nanosized PbIn inclusions that gradually melt as the temperature is increased from 230 to 260°C is consistent with the results calculated for ??=?1.245.  相似文献

本文提出了一种基于图像熵的各向异性扩散滤波方法. 该方法使用图像熵作为边缘检测算子, 避免了由于均值和方差等统计量的估计带来的误差, 提高了边缘检测能力. 试验结果表明该方法能够获得比传统方法更好的相干斑噪声抑制效果. 关键词: 相干斑抑制 各向异性扩散 图像熵 合成孔径雷达  相似文献

微流动驱动的胶体自组装是一种非平衡的过程。在定向微流动(如热毛细流)驱动下,胶体体系内的粒子自身的热运动受到抑制,胶体体系中的微粒常常出现宏观有序的结构。但这种粒径的球在重力作用下会显著沉降,造成胶体体系的浓度不均,而胶体体系的相行为与浓度密切相关。因此在重力作用下难以准确地描述相变与局域结构的关联。在微重力条件下,大尺度的胶体球没有重力沉降作用,可提供准确的局域结构信息,而且浮力对流受到较大抑制,没有流体静压力,不产生沉降作用,这为研究界面上的胶体自组装动力学行为提供了有利条件。“胶体有序排列及新型材料研究”是“实践十号卫星”19项科学实验载荷之一,其科学实验将在载荷“胶体材料箱”中完成,将是空间中进行的首次胶体自组装动力学行为的实验研究。  相似文献

利用带电单分散聚苯乙烯胶体粒子,通过自组装机理,制备了体积百分比为4.8%的具有多晶结构的胶体晶体,并用Kossel衍射技术和紫外可见分光光度计分别对晶体的生长过程进行了监测.通过对Kossel的图像分析检测不同阶段相应的晶格结构,发现胶体结晶过程晶体结构演变顺序为由液态—随机层结构—堆无序结构—面心立方孪晶结构到面心立方结构.定量地确定了结晶过程中晶体不同晶面的晶面间距和晶体的晶格常数,通过紫外可见分光光度计测量的晶体透射谱图,计算得到111晶面的晶面间距和晶体的晶格常数,与用Kossel衍射技术得到的结果相一致,还发现随样品放置时间的延长,衰减峰变窄和加深,并向短波方向移动,对应着晶体的晶格常数减小的现象. 关键词: 胶体晶体 自组织 Kossel环 聚苯乙烯粒子  相似文献

针对单幅图像去雾算法容易产生光晕现象且去雾后图像细节不突出的问题,提出了一种基于各向异性扩散的去雾算法.首先在基于像素的暗通道先验假设的基础上计算出初始大气传输函数,使用Perona-Malik偏微分方程模型求解出精细化的大气传输函数,再经过最小值校正,最终得到准确的大气传输函数。为了估计大气光,对基于像素的亮通道图像进行像素排序,从中选取出可靠的大气光向量。实验结果表明,提出的算法能够恢复更多的图像细节,同时有效地抑制了光晕现象。  相似文献

The processes of crystallization in salt-free aqueous suspensions of highly-charged latex particles were observed by laser diffraction experiments for semi-dilute specimens of concentration 0.1–10 vol%. The Kossel diffraction patterns provide accurate three-dimensional information on the suspensions enabling the time evolution of the crystal structure to be recorded in detail. The results showed that the ordering formation evolved by way of the following intermediate processes: two-dimensional hep structure ← random layer structure ← layer structure with one sliding degree of freedom ← stacking disorder structure ← stacking structure with multivariant periodicity ← fcc structure with (111) twin ← normal fcc structure. For less concentrated suspensions (< 2 vol %), the phase transition proceeded further from the normal fcc structure to the normal bcc structure via the bcc twin structure with twin plane (112) or (112).  相似文献

Out-of-time-ordered correlation (OTOC) functions have been used as an indicator of quantum chaos in a lot of physical systems. In this work, we numerically demonstrate that zero temperature OTOC can detect quantum phase transition in the anisotropic Dicke model. The phase diagram is given with OTOC. Abstract

Following the Bogoliubov variational principle, the equilibrium and stability equations of the free energy for the two sublattice antiferromagnetic system with inter- and intrasublattice exchange interactions and with an external magnetic field are investigated. For the Ising spin system with uniaxial anisotropy, the phase diagrams have been calculated for various values of anisotropy constant d and the ratio of intra- to intersublattice interaction constants γ. It is shown that first-order, as well as second-order transitions, occur for γ > 0, whereas only a second-order transition occurs for γ ≦ 0, irrespective of the sign of d. Furthermore, similar calculations are extended for the anisotropic Heisenberg spin system and quite interesting phase diagrams have been obtained. Next, the effects of the anisotropic exchange interactions on the magnetic ordered states and the magnetizations of the singlet ground state system of spin one and with a uniaxial anisotropy term are investigated in the vicinity of the level crossing field H ? D/gμ B . A field-induced ordered state without the transverse component of magnetization is shown to appear in a certain range of magnetic field as the spin dimensionality decreases. It has also turned out that the phase transition between this ordered state and the canted antiferromagnetic state ordinarily found for the isotropic singlet ground state system is of first order. Lastly, the stable spin configurations at a temperature of absolute zero for a two-sublattice uniaxial antiferromagnet under an external magnetic field of arbitrary direction are studied. In particular, the effects of a single ionic anisotropy D-term and anisotropy in the exchange interactions on the magnetic phases are investigated. The antiferromagnetic state has turned out to appear only for the external magnetic field along the easy axis of sublattice magnetization, and makes a first-order phase transition to the canted-spin state or the ferromagnetic state. For other field directions, no antiferromagnetic state appears and only a second-order phase transition between the canted-spin and the ferromagnetic states occurs. The critical field as a function of external field direction has been calculated for several D-values.  相似文献

The collective diffusion of anisotropic particles in liquids plays a crucial role in many processes, such as self-assembly. The patchy particle, which is usually nearly spherical in shape, is an important anisotropic particle with different properties from other anisotropic particles like the ellipsoid liquid crystal particles. In the present study, molecular dynamics simulations are performed to study the collective diffusion of a two-dimensional anisotropic liquid system composed of Janus particles. The static structures and diffusion behaviours of anisotropic and isotropic Lennard-Jones liquids are compared. The long-time diffusion behaviour of an anisotropic liquid of nearly spherical Janus particles is found to be similar to that of an isotropic liquid because the orientation of the particles disappears over long-term averaging. The anisotropic properties of the Janus particles are mainly reflected in the spatial correlation of particle orientations and mid-time diffusion behaviour. The difference between nearly spherical anisotropic particles and rod-like particles is also discussed in this paper.  相似文献

悬浮于溶液中的微米胶体粒子可以自组装成多种结构,与原子一样具有丰富的相行为,通过调节粒子的大小、形状、相互作用或密度可以驱动相变。由于胶体粒子可以在光学显微镜下直接成像并测量其热运动轨迹,因此是研究相变微观过程的一种有力的模型系统。近十几年来,作用力可调粒子、非球形粒子和活性粒子的制备有了突破性进展,并在自组装技术和相应的计算机模拟中有很大进步,因此为相变研究开辟了许多可能性。文章总结了利用胶体研究相变过程的最新进展,重点关注结晶、熔化和固—固相变,并简述胶体相变研究中存在的挑战和未来前景。  相似文献

为了减少红外图像中背景边缘对检测的影响,提出了一种具有鲁棒性的弱小目标检测算法,该算法利用核各向异性扩散模型进行背景预测,再与原图像差分实现弱小目标检测。为了提高算法的自适应能力,提出了一种鲁棒性扩散系数,能够根据图像背景的起伏程度自适应调整扩散系数曲线的陡峭程度。实验结果表明,与现有的检测算法相比,该算法能够在不同类型的复杂背景下有效抑制背景及其边缘,保留目标大小,降低虚警率,具有更强的鲁棒性。  相似文献

The addition of a non-adsorbing polymer (polydimethylsiloxane) to dispersions of hydrophobic silica particles in cyclohexane induces phase separation by means of the depletion interaction. The strength and range of the weak, attractive potential, in this otherwise hard sphere system, may be independently controlled by means of the free polymer concentration and molecular weight, respectively. Depending on the particle size and molecular weight of the polymer, as well as the particle number concentration, analogues of the molecular gas/liquid, gas/solid and liquid/solid phase transitions may each be observed, in accordance with the predictions of recent statistical mechanical theories.  相似文献

The grain boundary diffusion in a binary system which exhibits a grain boundary phase transition is considered in the framework of Fisher's model. The kinetic law of the growth of the grain boundary phase and the distribution of the diffusant near the grain boundary are calculated. The method of determining of the concentration dependence of the grain boundary diffusion coefficient from the experimentally measured penetration profiles of the diffusant along the grain boundaries is suggested. The experimental results on Zn diffusion in Fe(Si) bicrystals, Ni diffusion in Cu bicrystals and grain boundary grooving in Al in the presence of liquid In are discussed in light of the suggested model.  相似文献

A novel and flexible experiment is reported for investigation of the non-equilibrium melting behaviour of model crystals made from charged colloidal spheres. In a slit geometry, polycrystalline material formed in a low salt region is driven by hydrostatic pressure up an evolving gradient in salt concentration and melts at large salt concentration. Depending on particle and initial salt concentration, driving velocity and the local salt concentration, complex morphologic evolution is observed. Crystal–melt interface positions and the melting velocity are obtained quantitatively from time-resolved Bragg and polarisation microscopic measurements. A simple theoretical model predicts the interface to first advance, then for balanced drift and melting velocities to become stationary at a salt concentration larger than the equilibrium melting concentration. It also describes the relaxation of the interface to its equilibrium position in a stationary gradient after stopping the drive in different manners. The influence of the gradient strength on the resulting interface morphology and a shear-induced morphologic transition from polycrystalline to oriented single crystalline material before melting are discussed.  相似文献
