In this paper, we develop the truncated Euler-Maruyama (EM) method for stochastic differential equations with piecewise continuous arguments (SDEPCAs), and consider the strong convergence theory under the local Lipschitz condition plus the Khasminskii-type condition. The order of convergence is obtained. Moreover, we show that the truncated EM method can preserve the exponential mean square stability of SDEPCAs. Numerical examples are provided to support our conclusions.  相似文献

The authors establish a Serrin's regularity criterion for the β-generalized dissipative surface quasi-geostrophic equation.More precisely,it is shown that if the smooth solution θ satisfies ▽θ∈L~q(0,T;L~P(R~2)) with α/q+2/p≤α+β-1,then the solution θcan be smoothly extended after time T.In particular,when α+β≥2,it is shown that if α_yθ∈L~q(0,T;L~P(R~2)) with α/q+2/p≤α+β-1,then the solution θ can also be smoothly extended after time T.This result extends the regularity result of Yamazaki in 2012.  相似文献

We study Nekrasov's deformed partition function $Z(\varepsilon_1,\varepsilon_2,\vec{a};\mathfrak q,\boldsymbol\beta)$ of 5-dimensional supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory compactified on a circle. Mathematically it is the generating function of the characters of the coordinate rings of the moduli spaces of instantons on $\mathbb R^4$. We show that it satisfies a system of functional equations, called blowup equations, whose solution is unique. As applications, we prove (a) $F(\varepsilon_1,\varepsilon_2,\vec{a};\mathfrak q,\boldsymbol\beta) = \varepsilon_1\varepsilon_2 \log Z(\varepsilon_1,\varepsilon_2,\vec{a};\mathfrak q,\boldsymbol\beta)$ is regular at $\varepsilon_1 = \varepsilon_2 = 0$ (a part of Nekrasov's conjecture), and (b) the genus $1$ parts, which are first several Taylor coefficients of $F(\varepsilon_1,\varepsilon_2,\vec{a};\mathfrak q,\boldsymbol\beta)$, are written explicitly in terms of $\tau = d^2 F(0,0,\vec{a};\mathfrak q,\boldsymbol\beta)/da^2$ in rank $2$ case.  相似文献

In this paper, we prove an Osgood type regularity criterion for the model of liquid crystals, which says that the condition $$\sup_{2 \leq q< \infty} \int \nolimits_0^T \frac{\| \bar{S}_{q} \nabla {\bf u}(t)\|_{L^\infty}}{q \, {\rm \ln} \, q} {\rm d} t<\infty$$ implies the smoothness of the solution. Let L = L0+V be the higher order Schrdiger type operator where L0 is a homogeneous elliptic operator of order 2m in divergence form with bounded coefficients and V is a real measurable function as multiplication operator(e.g., including(-?)m+V(m∈N) as special examples). In this paper, assume that V satisfies a strongly subcritical form condition associated with L0, the authors attempt to establish a theory of Hardy space Hp L(Rn)(0 p ≤ 1) associated with the higher order Schrdinger type operator L. In this paper, the authors aim at proving two existence results of fractional differential boundary value problems of the form(P_(a,b)){D~αu(x) + f(x, u(x)) = 0, x ∈(0, 1),u(0) = u(1) = 0, D~(α-3)u(0) = a, u(1) =-b,where 3 α≤ 4, Dαis the standard Riemann-Liouville fractional derivative and a, b are nonnegative constants. First the authors suppose that f(x, t) =-p(x)t~σ, with σ∈(-1, 1)and p being a nonnegative continuous function that may be singular at x = 0 or x = 1and satisfies some conditions related to the Karamata regular variation theory. Combining sharp estimates on some potential functions and the Sch¨auder fixed point theorem, the authors prove the existence of a unique positive continuous solution to problem(P_(0,0)).Global estimates on such a solution are also obtained. To state the second existence result, the authors assume that a, b are nonnegative constants such that a + b 0 and f(x, t) = tφ(x, t), with φ(x, t) being a nonnegative continuous function in(0, 1)×[0, ∞) that is required to satisfy some suitable integrability condition. Using estimates on the Green's function and a perturbation argument, the authors prove the existence and uniqueness of a positive continuous solution u to problem(P_(a,b)), which behaves like the unique solution of the homogeneous problem corresponding to(P_(a,b)). The single layer heat potential operator, K, arises in the solution of initial-boundary value problems for the heat equation using boundary integral methods. In this note we show that K maps a certain anisotropic Sobolev space isomorphically onto its dual, and, moreover, satisfies the coercivity inequality $ < K_{q,q} >\geq c\|q\|^2$. We thereby establish the well-posedness of the operator equation $K_q=f$ and provide a basis for the analysis of the discretizations.  相似文献

In this article, we propose a new finite element space Λ$_h$ for the expanded mixed finite element method (EMFEM) for second-order elliptic problems to guarantee its computing capability and reduce the computation cost. The new finite element space Λ$_h$ is designed in such a way that the strong requirement V$_h\subset$Λ$_h$ in [9] is weakened to {v$_h\in$V$_h$; divv$_h$=0}$\subset$Λ$_h$ so that it needs fewer degrees of freedom than its classical counterpart. Furthermore, the new Λ$_h$ coupled with the Raviart-Thomas space satisfies the inf-sup condition, which is crucial to the computation of mixed methods for its close relation to the behavior of the smallest nonzero eigenvalue of the stiff matrix, and thus the existence, uniqueness and optimal approximate capability of the EMFEM solution are proved for rectangular partitions in $\mathbb{R}^d, d=2,3$ and for triangular partitions in $\mathbb{R}^2$. Also, the solvability of the EMFEM for triangular partition in $\mathbb{R}^3$ can be directly proved without the inf-sup condition. Numerical experiments are conducted to confirm these theoretical findings.  相似文献

It is well-known that the direction generated by Hestenes-Stiefel (HS) conjugate gradient method may not be a descent direction for the objective function. In this paper, we take a little modification to the HS method, then the generated direction always satisfies the sufficient descent condition. An advantage of the modified Hestenes-Stiefel (MHS) method is that the scalar βkH Sffikeeps nonnegative under the weak Wolfe-Powell line search. The global convergence result of the MHS method is established under some mild conditions. Preliminary numerical results show that the MHS method is a little more efficient than PRP and HS methods.  相似文献

Let q be a prime or prime power and Fqn the extension of q elements finite field Fq with degree n(n1).Davenport,Lenstra and Schoof proved that there exists a primitive element α∈ Fqn such that α generates a normal basis of Fqn over Fq.Later,Mullin,Gao and Lenstra,etc.,raised the definition of optimal normal bases and constructed such bases.In this paper,we determine all primitive type I optimal normal bases and all finite fields in which there exists a pair of reciprocal elements α and α-1 such that both of them generate optimal normal bases of Fqn over Fq.Furthermore,we obtain a sufficient condition for the existence of primitive type II optimal normal bases over finite fields and prove that all primitive optimal normal elements are conjugate to each other.  相似文献
