We study numerically the effects of an extrinsic spin–orbit interaction on the model of electrons in n-doped semiconductors of Matsubara and Toyozawa (MT). We focus on the analysis of the density of states (DOS) and the inverse participation ratio (IPR) of the spin–orbit perturbed states in the MT set of energy eigenstates in order to characterize the eigenstates with respect to their extended or localized nature. The finite sizes that we are able to consider necessitate an enhancement of the spin–orbit coupling strength in order to obtain a meaningful perturbation. The IPR and DOS are then studied as a function of the enhancement parameter.  相似文献

We construct a general form of propagator in arbitrary dimensions and give an exact wavefunction of a time- dependent forced harmonic oscillator in D(D ≥ 1) dimensions. The coherent states, defined as the eigenstates of annihilation operator, of the D-dimensional harmonic oscillator are derived. These coherent states correspond to the minimum uncertainty states and the relation between them is investigated.  相似文献

This paper investigates an analytical expression of teleportation fidelity in the teleportation scheme of a single mode of electromagnetic field.The fidelity between the original squeezed coherent state and the teleported one is expressed in terms of the squeezing parameter r and the quantum channel parameter(two-mode squeezed state) p.The results of analysis show that the fidelity increases with the increase of the quantum channel parameter p,while the fidelity decreases with the increase of the squeezing parameter r of the squeezed state.Thus the coherent state(r = 0) is the best quantum signal for continuous variable quantum teleportation once the quantum channel is built.  相似文献

This paper discusses the properties of amplitude-squared squeezing of the generalized odd-even coherent states of anharmonic oscillator in finite-dimensional Hilbert space. It demonstrates that the generalized odd coherent states do exhibit strong amplitude-squared squeezing effects in comparison with the generalized even coherent states.  相似文献

We construct spectrum generating algebras of SO(2, 1) ~ SU(1, 1) in arbitrary dimension for the isotropic harmonic oscillator and the Sturm-Coulomb problem in radial coordinates. Using these algebras, we construct the associated radial Barut-Girardello coherent states for the isotropic harmonic oscillator (in arbitrary dimension). We map these states into the Sturm-Coulomb radial coherent states and show that they evolve in a fictitious time parameter without dispersing.  相似文献

We propose a scheme for generation of three-mode W-type entangled coherent states(ECSs)in free- travelling optical fields by using a single-photon source,coherent state sources,beam splitters,photode- tectors,and three-mode cross-Kerr media.The scheme consists of a Mach-Zehnder interferometer(MZI) in which each arm contains a cross-Kerr medium.We calculate the success probability of the generated W-type ECSs,and the total success probability is unity under the ideal conditions.  相似文献

The Morse oscillator (MO) potential occupies a privileged place among the anharmonic oscillator potentials due to its applications in quantum mechanics to diatomic or polyatomic molecules, spectroscopy and so on. For this potential some kinds of coherent states (especially of the Klauder–Perelomov and Gazeau–Klauder kinds) have been constructed previously. In this paper we construct the coherent states of the Barut–Girardello kind (BG-CSs) for the MO potential, which have received less attention in the scientific literature. We obtain these CSs and demonstrate that they fulfil all conditions required by the coherent state. The Mandel parameter for the pure BG-CSs and Husimi’s and PP-quasi distribution functions (for the mixed-thermal states) are also presented. Finally, we show that all obtained results for the BG-CSs of MO tend, in the harmonic limit, to the corresponding results for the coherent states of the one dimensional harmonic oscillator (CSs for the HO-1D).  相似文献

A realization is found of the initial and final physical states in the Farri representation for the standard electroweak theory in the R-gauge with a free non-Abelian external field. In this paper the superpositions of two arbitrary coherent states |ψ〉 = α |β| + be^iψ |mβe^iδ〉 are constructed by using the superposition principle of quantum mechanics. The entropic squeezing effects of the quantum states are studied. The numerical results indicate that the amplitudes, the ratio between the amplitudes of two coherent states, the phase difference between the two components and the relative phase of the two coefficients play important roles in the squeezing effects of the position entropy and momentum entropy.  相似文献

One of the most fascinating challenges facing modern strong interaction physics is to understand the origin of the spin of the nucleon in terms of the spin and orbital angular momentum of the quarks and gluons.We review recent progress on this problem as well as some of the uncertainties associated with state of the art lattice QCD simulations.In particular,we explain the importance of the corrections associated with chiral extrapolation and finite volume corrections,especially for the term B(0) extracted from the appropriate low moment of the deeply virtual Compton scattering amplitude.  相似文献

A re-analysis of the A2ΠiX2Σ+ band system of the AlS radical has been performed. The previously published material has been refined and extended to approximately 36,000 line assignments. The line material has been fitted to a 2Σ+ hyperfine Hamiltonian, in the same manner as in the recently published work on the B2Σ+X2Σ+ and A2ΠiX2Σ+ systems of AlO. The present analysis shows the same trends for the ground state γ-values as in AlO, i.e. decreasing γ-values upon increasing v. It has been confirmed that the spin splittings of the X2Σ+ (v = 0) levels in both molecules are mainly due to nuclear hyperfine interaction and second order spin–orbit effects due to the high-lying regular 2Π state (C2Π in AlO and B2Π in AlS), while the influence of the low-lying inverted 2Π state on γ increases dramatically with increasing v, resulting in negative γ-values starting from v = 2.  相似文献

In this paper, based on the topological basis states, we investigate the Hamiltonian family {H2,H3,H4}{H2,H3,H4} of a closed four-qubit Haldane–Shastry spin chain. Not only the two-qubit interaction form, but also the three-qubit interaction form and the four-qubit interaction form are presented in terms of spin operators. Meanwhile, we explore some particular properties of the topological basis states in these systems. With Yangian algebra, the symmetry of the systems and the transitions between the eigenstates have been investigated. We find a really useful effect of Y(sl(2))Y(sl(2)) operators {J±,J3}{J±,J3}, which is that they can describe the transitions between the spin single state and the spin triple states. Furthermore, we construct a new Hamiltonian, whose energy degeneracies can be changed by adjusting the strengths of the two-qubit interactions, three-qubit interactions, four-qubit interactions, and the external magnetic field.  相似文献

In this paper we investigate the Gazeau–Klauder coherent states using a newly introduced diagonal ordering operation technique, in order to examine some of the properties of these coherent states. The results coincide with those obtained from other purely algebraic methods, but the calculations are greatly simplified. A scheme is proposed for the teleportation of an unknown atomic state. The scheme is based on the resonant interaction of atoms with a coherent cavity field. The mean photon-number of the cavity field is much smaller than one and thus the cavity decay can be effectively suppressed. We derive an effective Hamiltonian for the two-dimensional Hubbard–Holstein model in the regimes of strong electron–electron and strong electron–phonon interactions by using a nonperturbative approach. In the parameter region where the system manifests the existence of a correlated singlet phase, the effective Hamiltonian transforms to a t1 ? V 1 ? V 2 ? V 3 Hamiltonian for hard-core-bosons on a checkerboard lattice. We employ quantum Monte Carlo simulations, involving stochastic-series-expansion technique, to obtain the ground state phase diagram. At filling 1∕8, as the strength of off-site repulsion increases, the system undergoes a first-order transition from a superfluid to a diagonal striped solid with ordering wavevector \(\vec{Q}\) = (π∕4, 3π∕4) or (π∕4, 5π∕4). Unlike the one-dimensional situation, our results in the two-dimensional case reveal a supersolid phase (corresponding to the diagonal striped solid) around filling 1∕8 and at large off-site repulsions. Furthermore, for small off-site repulsions, we witness a valence bond solid at one-fourth filling and tiny phase-separated regions at slightly higher fillings.  相似文献

The reduced matrix elements of the component z i of the inter-electronic spin-other-orbit interaction have been calculated for all the states of the atomic f shell. Three of the z i , each of which belongs to the irreducible representation (30) of Racah's group G2, are found to exhibit matrix elements that are often related to one another in ways that go beyond what the Wigner-Eckart theorem, generalized to G2, would predict. Examples are presented for matrix elements whose bras belong to the IR (20) of G2 and whose kets belong to (31). The challenges to current theory are discussed.  相似文献

In this paper, we theoretically study the effect of the in-plane magnetic field on spin polarization in the presence of the Dresselhaus spin–orbit effect. It is shown that the large spin polarization can be achieved in such a nanostructure due to the effects of both the Dresselhaus spin–orbit term and the in-plane magnetic field, but the latter plays a main role in the tunneling process. It is also shown that with the increase of in-plane magnetic field, the degree of spin splitting obviously becomes larger.  相似文献

Density-functional theory is used to study the nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) indirect nuclear spin-spin coupling constants in C60. Knowledge of these coupling constants may help in the analysis of future experimental NMR studies of 13C-enriched C60. At the Becke 3-parameter Lee-Yang-Parr (B3LYP) Kohn-Sham level, the one-bond couplings within pentagons and between pentagons are 62 Hz and 77 Hz, respectively; the corresponding geminal couplings are 7 Hz and 1 Hz, respectively. Except for the vicinal couplings (about 4 Hz), the long-range couplings are all 1 Hz or smaller. This is the largest theoretical calculation to date of the complete set of indirect nuclear spin-spin coupling constants of a molecular system; it has been made possible by solving the response equations only for the perturbing operators related to one nuclear magnetic moment, making the calculation feasible.  相似文献
