The transmission spectrum of four-level atoms in a cavity is calculated. It is shown that the four separate peaks associated with normal mode splitting and intra-cavity double dark states can be observed simultaneously. The position and intensity of the four peaks can be controlled by the intensity of the third interacting light. Therefore, the enhancement of normal mode splitting by a third coupling light of the intra-cavity four-level atoms is developed.   相似文献

考虑了双模腔内含有N个三能级V型原子的系综与两个量子化场之间的相互作用。在非绝热消除原子变量的条件下,分析了两个初始为相干态的输入场从腔内输出后的量子关联性质。结果表明在恰当的条件下,在中心频率处可以获得量子纠缠,但随合作参数的增加,中心频率处的纠缠变小甚至消失。与此同时,在高频区间则产生了一对边频量子纠缠。这是由于合作参数增加引起的真空拉比分裂导致了高频处获得量子关联。此外,通过调节量子化场的强度以及原子和场的反对称失谐,还可获得两对边频量子纠缠。这对边频量子关联的研究具有十分重要的价值。  相似文献

Quantum thermalization and thermal entanglement in the open quantum Rabi model (QRM), in which a two-level system and a single-mode bosonic field are coupled to either two individual heat baths or a common heat bath, are studied. By treating the QRM as an effective multilevel system and deriving global quantum master equations in the eigenstate representation of the QRM, the physical conditions for quantum thermalization of the QRM is studied. It is found that, in the individual heat-bath case, the QRM can only be thermalized when either the two heat baths have the same temperature or the QRM is only coupled to one of the two baths. In the common heat-bath case, differently, the QRM can always be thermalized. Thermal entanglement of the QRM in both the resonant- and non-resonant coupling cases is also studied. The logarithmic negativity for the thermal state of the QRM is obtained in a wide parameter space, ranging from the low- to high-temperature limits, and from the weak- to deep-strong-coupling regimes. This work paves the way toward the study of quantum effects in nonequilibrium ultrastrongly-coupled light-matter systems.  相似文献

The quantum Rabi model (QRM) with linear coupling between light mode and qubit exhibits the analog of a second-order phase transition for vanishing mode frequency which allows for criticality-enhanced quantum metrology in a few-body system. We show that the QRM including a nonlinear coupling term exhibits much higher measurement precisions due to its first-order-like phase transition at finite frequency, avoiding the detrimental slowing-down effect close to the critical point of the linear QRM. When a bias term is added to the Hamiltonian, the system can be used as a fluxmeter or magnetometer if implemented in circuit QED platforms.  相似文献

We present a general procedure for automatic quantitation of a series of spectral peaks based on principal component analysis (PCA). PCA has been previously used for spectral quantitation of a single resonant peak of constant shape but variable amplitude. Here we extend this procedure to estimate all of the peak parameters: amplitude, position (frequency), phase and linewidth. The procedure consists of a series of iterative steps in which the estimates of position and phase from one stage of iteration are used to correct the spectra prior to the next stage. The process is convergent to a stable result, typically in less than 5 iterations. If desired, remaining linewidth variations can then be corrected. Correction of (typically) unwanted variations of these types is important not only for direct peak quantitation, but also as a preprocessing step for spectral data prior to application of pattern recognition/classification techniques. The procedure is demonstrated on simulated data and on a set of 992 (31)P NMR in vivo spectra taken from a kinetic study of rat muscle energetics. The proposed procedure is robust, makes very limited assumptions about the lineshape, and performs well with data of low signal-to-noise ratio.  相似文献

With the superconducting cuprates in mind, a set of unitary transformations was used to decouple electrons and phonons in the strong-coupling limit. While phonons remain almost unrenormalised, electrons are transformed into itinerent singlet and triplet bipolarons and thermally excited polarons. The triplet/singlet exchange energy and the binding energy of the bipolarons are thought to account for the spin and charge pseudogaps in the cuprates, respectively. We calculated the Hall Lorenz number of the system to show that the Wiedemann-Franz law breaks down due to the interference of the polaron and bipolaron contributions to heat flow. The model provides a quantitative fit to magnetotransport data in the cuprates. Furthermore we are able to extract the phonon component of the thermal conductivity with the use of experimental data and the model. We propose a simple and fast scheme to realize a controlled-NOT gate between two trapped ions using a resonant laser pulse. Our scheme allows the Rabi frequency of the laser field to be of the order of the vibrational frequency and thus the time required to complete the operation is greatly shortened, which is of importance in view of decoherence.  相似文献

Based on single Cesium atoims trapped in a 1064 nm microscopic optical trap we have exhibited a single qubit encoded in the Cesium "clock states". The single qubit initialization, detection and the fast state rotation with high efficiencies are demonstrated and this state manipulation is crucial for quantmn information processing. The ground ~ates Rabi flopping rate of 229.0 ± 0.6 kHz is realized hy a two-photon Raman process. A clock states dephasing time of 3.0 ± 0.7 ms is measured, while all irreversible homogeneous dephasing time of 124 ± 17 ms is achieved by using the spin-echo technique. This well-controlled single atom provides an ideal quantmn qubit and quantmn node for quantum information processing.  相似文献

Time evolution dynamics of three non-coupled two-level atoms independently interacting with their reservoirs is solved exactly by considering a damping Lorentzian spectral density.For three atoms initially prepared in Greenberger-Horne-Zeilinger-type state,quantum correlation dynamics in a Markovian reservoir is compared with that in a nonMarkovian reservoir.By increasing detuning quantity in the non-Markovian reservoir,three-atom correlation dynamics measured by negative eigenvalue presents a trapping phenomenon which provides long-time quantum entanglement.Then we compare the correlation dynamics of three atoms with that of two atoms,measured by quantum entanglement and quantum discord for an initial robuster-entangled type state.The result further confirms that quantum discord is indeed different from quantum entanglement in identifying quantum correlation of many bodies.  相似文献

The entanglement of two qubits is investigated in the range of their ultra-strongly coupling with a quantum oscillator. The two qubits are initially in four Bell states and they are under the control mechanism of the coherent state of the quantum oscillator. There are four parameters: the average number of the coherent state, the ultra-strong coupling strength, the ratio of two frequencies of qubit and oscillator, and the inter-interaction coupling of the two qubits in the mechanism, and they all are influential parameters on the entanglement of the two qubits. One Bell state |0>is easyily kept and is trivial case. The novel results show that there is one state |I0> among the other three Bell states which the entanglement of the two qubits could be almost completely preserved. The possibility is made into reality by the appropriate choice of the four influential parameters. We give two different schemes to choose the respective parameters to maintain the entanglment of |I0> almost undiminished. The results will be useful for the quantum information process.  相似文献

We explore the possibility to generate new parity symmetry in the quantum Rabi model after a bias is introduced. In contrast to a mathematical treatment in a previous publication [J. Phys. A 46(2013) 265302], we consider a physically realistic method by involving an additional spin into the quantum Rabi model to couple with the original spin by an Ising interaction, and then the parity symmetry is broken as well as the scaling behavior of the ground state by introducing a bias. The rule can be found that the parity symmetry is broken by introducing a bias and then restored by adding new degrees of freedom. Experimental feasibility of realizing the models under discussion is investigated.  相似文献

An open four-level system of having two pairs of closely spaced levels (N-type configuration) is driven by a single electromagnetic field and tuned resonant with the average frequency of four dipole allowed transitions. Under the Doppler free condition and by using a semiclassical formulation of atom-field interaction for four dipole allowed transitions, we derive the optical Bloch equations for the said four-level system coupled to the driving field. In order to obtain the field induced polarization and hence the absorptive lineshapes, we use the usual perturbation method for getting the approximate analytical solution to the coupled optical Bloch equations for the density matrix elements. Through the off-diagonal complex density matrix elements, we introduce the field dependent phase angles arising out of the quantum interference between the levels participating in dipole allowed transitions. The difference between the field dependent and field independent phases are pointed out. In particular, we investigate the effects of Rabi frequencies and the field dependent phases on the absorptive lineshape. The analytical expressions for the effective linewidths, effective detunings and the induced polarization clearly indicate the role of quantum interference.  相似文献

本文从理论和实验两方面探讨了具有微结构的金属纳米线系统中表面等离激元传播规律和分光特性. 我们由麦克斯韦方程组出发, 利用严格耦合波近似和有限元差分等方法首先从理论上给出了金属纳米线系统中等离激元的色散关系和能带特征, 然后基于微结构的银纳米线及其等离激元能带结构, 设计并制备出等离激元分光原型器件, 实验展示其将不同频率的光在微小空间分离的特性. 该研究结果是我们前期相关工作的延续和补充, 可应用于构造多功能集成的光子芯片和新型亚波长光电材料和器件.  相似文献

In this paper,we propose a scheme to achieve a multiphonon-resonance quantum Rabi model and adiabatic passage in a strong-coupling cavity optomechanical system.In the scheme,when the driving bichromatic laser beam is adjusted to the off-resonant j-order red-and blue-sideband,the interaction between the cavity and mechanical oscillator leads to a j-phonon resonance quantum Rabi model.Moreover,we show that there exists a resonant multi-phonon coupling via intermediate states connected by counter-rotating processes when the frequency of the simulated bosonic mode is near a fraction of the transition frequency of the simulated two-level system.As a typical example,we theoretically analyze the two-phonon resonance quantum Rabi model,and derive an effective Hamiltonian of the six-phonon coupling.Finally,we present a method of six-phonon generation based on adiabatic passage across the resonance.Numerical simulations confirm the validity of the proposed scheme.Theoretically,the proposed scheme can be extended to the realization of 3j-phonon state.  相似文献

We consider the semiclassical Rabi model in the large, red-detuned regime. Using the method of multiple-scales we obtain a simple, analytic, and approximate solution that describes the evolution of the system accurately for long times and for arbitrary values of the qubit-field coupling. It is used to characterize the probability to find the qubit in the excited state and the trajectory of the associated Bloch vector.
