In this paper, based on physics-informed neural networks (PINNs), a good deep learning neural network framework that can be used to effectively solve the nonlinear evolution partial differential equations (PDEs) and other types of nonlinear physical models, we study the nonlinear Schrödinger equation (NLSE) with the generalized ${ \mathcal P }{ \mathcal T }$-symmetric Scarf-II potential, which is an important physical model in many fields of nonlinear physics. Firstly, we choose three different initial values and the same Dirichlet boundary conditions to solve the NLSE with the generalized ${ \mathcal P }{ \mathcal T }$-symmetric Scarf-II potential via the PINN deep learning method, and the obtained results are compared with those derived by the traditional numerical methods. Then, we investigate the effects of two factors (optimization steps and activation functions) on the performance of the PINN deep learning method in the NLSE with the generalized ${ \mathcal P }{ \mathcal T }$-symmetric Scarf-II potential. Ultimately, the data-driven coefficient discovery of the generalized ${ \mathcal P }{ \mathcal T }$-symmetric Scarf-II potential or the dispersion and nonlinear items of the NLSE with the generalized ${ \mathcal P }{ \mathcal T }$-symmetric Scarf-II potential can be approximately ascertained by using the PINN deep learning method. Our results may be meaningful for further investigation of the nonlinear Schrödinger equation with the generalized ${ \mathcal P }{ \mathcal T }$-symmetric Scarf-II potential in the deep learning.  相似文献

We study stability and collisions of quantum droplets (QDs) forming in a binary bosonic condensate trapped in parity-time (${ \mathcal P }{ \mathcal T }$)-symmetric optical lattices. It is found that the stability of QDs in the ${ \mathcal P }{ \mathcal T }$-symmetric system depends strongly on the values of the imaginary part W0 of the ${ \mathcal P }{ \mathcal T }$-symmetric optical lattices, self-repulsion strength g, and the condensate norm N. As expected, the ${ \mathcal P }{ \mathcal T }$-symmetric QDs are entirely unstable in the broken ${ \mathcal P }{ \mathcal T }$-symmetric phase. However, the ${ \mathcal P }{ \mathcal T }$-symmetric QDs exhibit oscillatory stability with the increase of N and g in the unbroken ${ \mathcal P }{ \mathcal T }$-symmetric phase. Finally, collisions between ${ \mathcal P }{ \mathcal T }$-symmetric QDs are considered. The collisions of droplets with unequal norms are completely different from that in free space. Besides, a stable ${ \mathcal P }{ \mathcal T }$-symmetric QDs collides with an unstable ones tend to merge into breathers after the collision.  相似文献

This paper reports that single-layer and graded Au-TiO2 granular composite films with Au atom content 15%- 66% were prepared by using reactive co-sputtering technique. The third-order optical nonlinearity of single-layer and graded composite films was investigated by using s- and p-polarized Z-scans in femtosecond time scale. The nonlinear absorption coefficient βeff of single-layer Au-TiO2 films is measured to be -2.3×10^3-0.76×10^3 cm/GW with Au atom content 15%-66%. The βeff value of the 10-layer Au-TiO2 graded film is enhanced to be -2.1×10^4cm/GW calculated from p-polarized Z-scans, which is about ten times the maximum βeff of single-layer films. Broadened response in the wavelength region 730-860 nm of the enhanced optical nonlinearity of graded Au-TiO2 composite films was also investigated.  相似文献

Gaussian-type soliton solutions of the nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) equation with fourth order dispersion, and power law nonlinearity in the novel parity-time (${ \mathcal P }{ \mathcal T }$)-symmetric quartic Gaussian potential are derived analytically and numerically. The exact analytical expressions of the solutions are obtained in the first two-dimensional (1D and 2D) power law NLS equations. By means of the linear stability analysis, the effect of power law nonlinearity on the stability of Gauss type solitons in different nonlinear media is carried out. Numerical investigations do confirm the stability of our soliton solutions in both focusing and defocusing cases, specially around the propagation parameters.  相似文献

A one dimensional, parity-time ( $\mathcal{PT}$ )-symmetric magnetic metamaterial comprising split-ring resonators having both gain and loss is investigated. In the linear regime, the transition from the exact to the broken $\mathcal{PT}$ -phase is determined through the calculation of the eigenfrequency spectrum for two different configurations; the one with equidistant split-rings and the other with the split-rings forming a binary pattern ( $\mathcal{PT}$ dimer chain). The latter system features a two-band, gapped spectrum with its shape determined by the gain/loss coefficient as well as the interelement coupling. In the presence of nonlinearity, the $\mathcal{PT}$ dimer chain configuration with balanced gain and loss supports nonlinear localized modes in the form of a novel type of discrete breathers below the lower branch of the linear spectrum. These breathers that can be excited from a weak applied magnetic field by frequency chirping, can be subsequently driven solely by the gain for very long times. The effect of a small imbalance between gain and loss is also considered. Fundamental gain-driven breathers occupy both sites of a dimer, while their energy is almost equally partitioned between the two split-rings, the one with gain and the other with loss. We also introduce a model equation for the investigation of classical $\mathcal{PT}$ symmetry in zero dimensions, realized by a simple harmonic oscillator with matched time-dependent gain and loss that exhibits a transition from oscillatory to diverging motion. This behavior is similar to a transition from the exact to the broken $\mathcal{PT}$ phase in higher-dimensional $\mathcal{PT}$ -symmetric systems. A stability condition relating the parameters of the problem is obtained in the case of a piece-wise constant gain/loss function that allows the construction of a phase diagram with alternating stable and unstable regions.  相似文献

This paper investigates the third-order nonlinear optical properties of two azo-nickel chelate compounds by the optical Kerr gate method at 830 nm wavelength with pulse duration of 120 fs. Both of the two compounds exhibited large third-order optical nonlinearity. The second-order hyperpolarizability,γ, of Compound 1 is of 1.0 × 10^-31 esu. Due to the charge transfer, the γ of Compound 2 with electron donor and acceptor group is 4.9 × 10^-31 esu, which is a four-time enhancement in comparison with Compound i. The absorption spectra show that the electron push-pull effect, which induces intramolecular charge transfer, leads to the increased optical nonlinearity.  相似文献

For the crystalline temperature of BaSnO$_{3}$ (BTO) was above 650 ℃, the transparent conductive BTO-based films were always deposited above this temperature on epitaxy substrates by pulsed laser deposition or molecular beam epitaxy till now which limited there application in low temperature device process. In the article, the microstructure, optical and electrical of BTO and In$_{2}$O$_{3}$ mixed transparent conductive BaInSnO$_x$ (BITO) film deposited by filtered cathodic vacuum arc technique (FCVA) on glass substrate at room temperature were firstly reported. The BITO film with thickness of 300 nm had mainly In$_{2}$O$_{3}$ polycrystalline phase, and minor polycrystalline BTO phase with (001), (011), (111), (002), (222) crystal faces which were first deposited at room temperature on amorphous glass. The transmittance was 70%-80% in the visible light region with linear refractive index of 1.94 and extinction coefficient of 0.004 at 550-nm wavelength. The basic optical properties included the real and imaginary parts, high frequency dielectric constants, the absorption coefficient, the Urbach energy, the indirect and direct band gaps, the oscillator and dispersion energies, the static refractive index and dielectric constant, the average oscillator wavelength, oscillator length strength, the linear and the third-order nonlinear optical susceptibilities, and the nonlinear refractive index were all calculated. The film was the n-type conductor with sheet resistance of 704.7 $\Omega /\Box $, resistivity of 0.02 $\Omega \cdot$cm, mobility of 18.9 cm$^{2}$/V$\cdot$s, and carrier electron concentration of $1.6\times 10^{19}$ cm$^{-3}$ at room temperature. The results suggested that the BITO film deposited by FCVA had potential application in transparent conductive films-based low temperature device process.  相似文献

In Minkowski space ${ \mathcal M }$, we derive the effective Schrödinger equation describing a spin-less particle confined to a rotating curved surface ${ \mathcal S }$. Using the thin-layer quantization formalism to constrain the particle on ${ \mathcal S }$, we obtain the relativity-corrected geometric potential ${V}_{g}^{{\prime} }$, and a novel effective potential ${\tilde{V}}_{g}$ related to both the Gaussian curvature and the geodesic curvature of the rotating surface. The Coriolis effect and the centrifugal potential also appear in the equation. Subsequently, we apply the surface Schrödinger equation to a rotating cylinder, sphere and torus surfaces, in which we find that the interplays between the rotation and surface geometry can contribute to the energy spectrum based on the potentials they offer.  相似文献

Let $\mathcal{B}(\mathcal{H})$ be the set of all bounded linear operators on the separable Hilbert space  $\mathcal{H}$ . A (generalized) quantum operation is a bounded linear operator defined on  $\mathcal{B}(\mathcal{H})$ , which has the form $\varPhi_{\mathcal{A}}(X)=\sum_{i=1}^{\infty}A_{i}XA_{i}^{*}$ , where $A_{i}\in\mathcal{B}(\mathcal{H})$ (i=1,2,…) satisfy $\sum_{i=1}^{\infty}A_{i}A_{i}^{*}\leq \nobreak I$ in the strong operator topology. In this paper, we establish the relationship between the (generalized) quantum operation $\varPhi_{\mathcal{A}}$ and its dual $\varPhi_{\mathcal {A}}^{\dag}$ with respect to the set of fixed points and the noiseless subspace. In particular, we also partially characterize the extreme points of the set of all (generalized) quantum operations and give some equivalent conditions for the correctable quantum channel.  相似文献

A new type of quantum theory known as time-dependent $\mathcal{PT}$-symmetric quantum mechanics has received much attention recently. It has a conceptually intriguing feature of equipping the Hilbert space of a $\mathcal{PT}$-symmetric system with a time-varying inner product. In this work, we explore the geometry of time-dependent $\mathcal{PT}$-symmetric quantum mechanics. We find that a geometric phase can emerge naturally from the cyclic evolution of a $\mathcal{PT}$-symmetric system, and further formulate a series of related differential-geometry concepts, including connection, curvature, parallel transport, metric tensor, and quantum geometric tensor. These findings constitute a useful, perhaps indispensible, tool to investigate geometric properties of $\mathcal{PT}$-symmetric systems with time-varying system's parameters. To exemplify the application of our findings, we show that the unconventional geometric phase [Phys. Rev. Lett. 91 187902 (2003)], which is the sum of a geometric phase and a dynamical phase proportional to the geometric phase, can be expressed as a single geometric phase unveiled in this work.  相似文献

In a recent paper [Phys. Rev. A 76 042313 (2007)], Sainz and Bjork introduced an entanglement invariant ε under evolution for a system of four qubits interacting through two isolated Jaynes-Cummings Hamiltonians. This paper proves that this entanglement invariant ε is closely connected with the linear entropy between two independent subsystems.  相似文献

The explorations of parity-time ($\mathcal{PT}$)-symmetric acoustics have resided at the frontier in physics, and the pre-existing accessing of exceptional points typically depends on Fabry-Perot resonances of the coupling interlayer sandwiched between balanced gain and loss components. Nevertheless, the concise $\mathcal{PT}$-symmetric acoustic heterostructure, eliminating extra interactions caused by the interlayer, has not been researched in depth. Here we derive the generalized unitary relation for one-dimensional (1D) $\mathcal{PT}$-symmetric heterostructure of arbitrary complexity, and demonstrate four disparate patterns of anisotropic transmission resonances (ATRs) accompanied by corresponding spontaneous phase transitions. As a special case of ATR, the occasional bidirectional transmission resonance reconsolidates the ATR frequencies that split when waves incident from opposite directions, whose spatial profiles distinguish from a unitary structure. The derived theoretical relation can serve as a predominant signature for the presence of $\mathcal{PT}$ symmetry and $\mathcal{PT}$-symmetry-breaking transition, which may provide substantial support for the development of prototype devices with asymmetric acoustic responses.  相似文献

Rogue waves are a class of nonlinear waves with extreme amplitudes, which usually appear suddenly and disappear without any trace. Recently, the parity-time ($\mathcal {PT}$)-symmetric vector rogue waves (RWs) of multi-component nonlinear Schrödinger equation ($n$-NLSE) are usually derived by the methods of integrable systems. In this paper, we utilize the multi-stage physics-informed neural networks (MS-PINNs) algorithm to derive the data-driven $\mathcal {PT}$ symmetric vector RWs solution of coupled NLS system in elliptic and X-shapes domains with nonzero boundary condition. The results of the experiment show that the multi-stage physics-informed neural networks are quite feasible and effective for multi-component nonlinear physical systems in the above domains and boundary conditions.  相似文献

We study the complex Berry phases in non-Hermitian systems with parity- and time-reversal $\left({ \mathcal P }{ \mathcal T }\right)$ symmetry. We investigate a kind of two-level system with ${ \mathcal P }{ \mathcal T }$ symmetry. We find that the real part of the the complex Berry phases have two quantized values and they are equal to either 0 or π, which originates from the topology of the Hermitian eigenstates. We also find that if we change the relative parameters of the Hamiltonian from the unbroken-${ \mathcal P }{ \mathcal T }$-symmetry phase to the broken-${ \mathcal P }{ \mathcal T }$-symmetry phase, the imaginary part of the complex Berry phases are divergent at the exceptional points. We exhibit two concrete examples in this work, one is a two-level toys model, which has nontrivial Berry phases; the other is the generalized Su–Schrieffer–Heeger (SSH) model that has physical loss and gain in every sublattice. Our results explicitly demonstrate the relation between complex Berry phases, topology and ${ \mathcal P }{ \mathcal T }$-symmetry breaking and enrich the field of the non-Hermitian physics.  相似文献

A new kind of k-quantum nonlinear coherent states, i.e., the k eigenstates of the k-th power $\hat{B}^{k}$ (k≥3) of the generalized annihilation operator $\hat{B}=\hat{a}\frac1{f(\hat{N})}$ of f-oscillators, are obtained and their properties are discussed. The completeness of the k states is investigated. An alternative method to construct them is proposed. It is shown that these states may form a complete Hilbert space, and all of them can be generated by a linear superposition of k Roy-type nonlinear coherent states. Physically, they can be generated by a linear superposition of the time-dependent Roy-type nonlinear coherent states at different instants.  相似文献

In this paper, we interpret the dark energy phenomenon as an averaged effect caused by small scale inhomogeneities of the universe with the use of the spatial averaged approach of Buchert. Two models are considered here, one of which assumes that the backreaction term ${\cal Q}_\mathcal{D}$ and the averaged spatial Ricci scalar $\langle\mathcal{R}\rangle_\mathcal{D}$ obey the scaling laws of the volume scale factor $a_\mathcal{D}$ at adequately late times, and the other one adopts the ansatz that the backreaction term ${\cal Q}_\mathcal{D}$ is a constant in the recent universe. Thanks to the effective geometry introduced by Larena et al. in their previous work, we confront these two backreaction models with latest type Ia supernova and Hubble parameter observations, coming out with the results that the constant backreaction model is slightly favoured over the other model and the best fitting backreaction term in the scaling backreaction model behaves almost like a constant. Also, the numerical results show that the constant backreaction model predicts a smaller expansion rate and decelerated expansion rate than the other model does at redshifts higher than about 1, and both backreaction terms begin to accelerate the universe at a redshift around 0.5.  相似文献

Let ${Y_{m|n}^{\ell}}$ be the super Yangian of general linear Lie superalgebra for ${\mathfrak{gl}_{m|n}}$ . Let ${e \in \mathfrak{gl}_{m\ell|n\ell}}$ be a “rectangular” nilpotent element and ${\mathcal{W}_e}$ be the finite W-superalgebra associated to e. We show that ${Y_{m|n}^{\ell}}$ is isomorphic to ${\mathcal{W}_e}$ .  相似文献

In (Rie?anová and Zajac in Rep. Math. Phys. 70(2):283–290, 2012) it was shown that an effect algebra E with an ordering set $\mathcal{M}$ of states can by embedded into a Hilbert space effect algebra $\mathcal{E}(l_{2}(\mathcal{M}))$ . We consider the problem when its effect algebraic MacNeille completion $\hat{E}$ can be also embedded into the same Hilbert space effect algebra $\mathcal {E}(l_{2}(\mathcal{M}))$ . That is when the ordering set $\mathcal{M}$ of states on E can be extended to an ordering set of states on $\hat{E}$ . We give an answer for all Archimedean MV-effect algebras and Archimedean atomic lattice effect algebras.  相似文献

Polarization-dependent linear absorption, second-harmonic generation (SHG) and 3rd-order nonlinearities of wellaligned ZnO nanorod arrays have been investigated with ps pulses. The depressed spectral width and the enhanced intensity of reflective SHG along the long axis of ZnO nanorods were observed by using p-polarized pulses, which is explained by the optical confinements. The nonlinear absorption coefficient measured with s-polarization reached the maximum 4.0×10^4cm/GW at the wavelength -750nm, which revealed a large two-photon resonance absorption attributed to the quantum confined exciton when the polarization is vertical to the long axis of ZnO nanorod.  相似文献

In this work, two-level stabilized finite volume formulations for the 2D steady Navier-Stokes equations are considered. These methods are based on the local Gauss integration technique and the lowest equal-order finite element pair. Moreover, the two-level stabilized finite volume methods involve solving one small Navier-Stokes problem on a coarse mesh with mesh size $H$, a large general Stokes problem for the Simple and Oseen two-level stabilized finite volume methods on the fine mesh with mesh size $h$=$\mathcal{O}(H^2)$ or a large general Stokes equations for the Newton two-level stabilized finite volume method on a fine mesh with mesh size $h$=$\mathcal{O}(|\log h|^{1/2}H^3)$. These methods we studied provide an approximate solution $(\widetilde{u}_h^v,\widetilde{p}_h^v)$ with the convergence rate of same order as the standard stabilized finite volume method, which involve solving one large nonlinear problem on a fine mesh with mesh size $h$. Hence, our methods can save a large amount of computational time.  相似文献
