We propose a new realization of the elliptic quantum group equipped with the H-Hopf algebroid structure on the basis of the elliptic algebra . The algebra has a constructive definition in terms of the Drinfeld generators of the quantum affine algebra and a Heisenberg algebra. This yields a systematic construction of both finite- and infinite-dimensional dynamical representations and their parallel structures to . In particular we give a classification theorem of the finite-dimensional irreducible pseudo-highest weight representations stated in terms of an elliptic analogue of the Drinfeld polynomials. We also investigate a structure of the tensor product of two evaluation representations and derive an elliptic analogue of the Clebsch–Gordan coefficients. We show that it is expressed by using the very-well-poised balanced elliptic hypergeometric series .  相似文献

Quantum affine reflection algebras are coideal subalgebras of quantum affine algebras that lead to trigonometric reflection matrices (solutions of the boundary Yang–Baxter equation). In this paper we use the quantum affine reflection algebras of type to determine new n-parameter families of nondiagonal reflection matrices. These matrices describe the reflection of vector solitons off the boundary in affine Toda field theory. They can also be used to construct new integrable vertex models and quantum spin chains with open boundary conditions.  相似文献

For a Lie algebra with Lie bracket got by taking commutators in a nonunital associative algebra , let be the vector space of tensors over equipped with the Itô Hopf algebra structure derived from the associative multiplication in . It is shown that a necessary and sufficient condition that the double product integral satisfy the quantum Yang–Baxter equation over is that satisfy the same equation over the unital associative algebra got by adjoining a unit element to . In particular, the first-order coefficient r1 of r[h] satisfies the classical Yang–Baxter equation. Using the fact that the multiplicative inverse of is where is the inverse of in we construct a quantisation of an arbitrary quasitriangular Lie bialgebra structure on in the unital associative subalgebra of consisting of formal power series whose zero order coefficient lies in the space of symmetric tensors. The deformation coproduct acts on by conjugating the undeformed coproduct by and the coboundary structure r of is given by where is the flip.Mathematical Subject Classification (2000). 53D55, 17B62  相似文献

We propose a dynamical extension of the quantum quadratic exchange algebras introduced by Freidel and Maillet. It admits two distinct fusion structures. A simple example is provided by the scalar Ruijsenaars-Schneider model. The semi-classical limit is also described.  相似文献

We study degenerations of the Belavin R-matrices via the infinite dimensional operators defined by Shibukawa–Ueno. We define a two-parameter family of generalizations of the Shibukawa–Ueno R-operators. These operators have finite dimensional representations which include Belavin's R-matrices in the elliptic case, a two-parameter family of twisted affinized Cremmer–Gervais R-matrices in the trigonometric case, and a two-parameter family of twisted (affinized) generalized Jordanian R-matrices in the rational case. We find finite dimensional representations which are compatible with the elliptic to trigonometric and rational degeneration. We further show that certain members of the elliptic family of operators have no finite dimensional representations. These R-operators unify and generalize earlier constructions of Felder and Pasquier, Ding and Hodges, and the authors, and illuminate the extent to which the Cremmer–Gervais R-matrices (and their rational forms) are degenerations of Belavin's R-matrix.  相似文献

Let be a finite dimensional complex Lie algebra and a Lie subalgebra equipped with the structure of a factorizable quasitriangular Lie bialgebra. Consider the Lie group Exp with the Semenov-Tjan-Shansky Poisson bracket as a Poisson Lie manifold for the double Lie bialgebra . Let be an open domain parameterizing a neighborhood of the identity in Exp by the exponential map. We present dynamical r-matrices with values in over the Poisson Lie base manifold .*This research is partially supported by the Emmy Noether Research Institute for Mathematics, the Minerva Foundation of Germany, the Excellency Center Group Theoretic Methods in the study of Algebraic Varieties of the Israel Science foundation, and by the RFBR grant no. 03-01-00593.  相似文献

A local (or modified) Yang–Baxter equation (LYBE) gives a functional map from the parameters of the weights in the left-hand side to the parameters of the corresponding weights in the right-hand side of the LYBE. Such maps solve the functional tetrahedron equation. In this Letter, all the maps associated with LYBE's of the ferro-electric type with a single parameter in each weight matrix are classified.  相似文献

The exact solutions of a one-dimensional mixture of spinor bosons and spinor fermions with δ-function interactions are studied. Some new sets of Bethe ansatz equations are obtained by using the graded nest quantum inverse scattering method. Many interesting features appear in the system. For example, the wave function has the SU(2|2) supersymmetry. It is also found that the ground state of the system is partial polarized, where the fermions form a spin singlet state and the bosons are totally polarized. From the solution of Bethe ansatz equations, it is shown that all the momentum, spin and isospin rapidities at the ground state are real if the interactions between the particles are repulsive; while the fermions form two-particle bounded states and the bosons form one large bound state, which means the bosons condensed at the zero momentum point, if the interactions are attractive. The charge, spin and isospin excitations are discussed in detail. The thermodynamic Bethe ansatz equations are also derived and their solutions at some special cases are obtained analytically.  相似文献

There is an approach due to Bazhanov and Reshetikhin for solving integrable RSOS models which consists of solving the functional relations which result from the truncation of the fusion hierarchy. We demonstrate that this is also an effective means of solving integrable vertex models. Indeed, we use this method to recover the known Bethe Ansatz solutions of both the closed and open XXZ quantum spin chains with U(1) symmetry. Moreover, since this method does not rely on the existence of a pseudovacuum state, we also use this method to solve a special case of the open XXZ chain with nondiagonal boundary terms.  相似文献

A rigorous algebraic proof of the full finiteness in all orders of perturbation theory is given for the Yang–Mills–Chern–Simons theory in a general three-dimensional Riemannian manifold. We show the validity of a trace identity, playing the role of a local form of the Callan–Symanzik equation, in all loop orders, which yields the vanishing of the -functions associated to the topological mass and gauge coupling constant as well as the anomalous dimensions of the fields.  相似文献

Reflection amplitudes are defined as two-point functions of certain class of conformal field theories where primary fields are given by vertex operators with real couplings. Among these, we consider (Super-) Liouville theory and simply and non-simply laced Toda theories. In this paper we show how to compute the scaling functions of effective central charge for the models perturbed by some primary fields which maintains integrability. This new derivation of the scaling functions are compared with the results from conventional TBA approach and confirms our approach along with other non-perturbative results such as exact expressions of the on-shell masses in terms of the parameters in the action, exact free energies. Another important application of the reflection amplitudes is a computation of one-point functions for the integrable models. Introducing functional relations between the one-point functions in terms of the reflection amplitudes, we obtain explicit expressions for simply-laced and non-simply-laced affine Toda theories. These nonperturbative results are confirmed numerically by comparing the free energies from the scaling functions with exact expressions we obtain from the one-point functions.  相似文献

The analysis of the measurement of gravitational fields leads to the Rosenfeld inequalities. They say that, as an implication of the equivalence of the inertial and passive gravitational masses of the test body, the metric cannot be attributed to an operator that is defined in the frame of a local canonical quantum field theory. This is true for any theory containing a metric, independently of the geometric framework under consideration and the way one introduces the metric in it. Thus, to establish a local quantum field theory of gravity one has to transit to non-Riemann geometry that contains (beside or instead of the metric) other geometric quantities. From this view, we discuss a Riemann–Cartan and an affine model of gravity and show them to be promising candidates of a theory of canonical quantum gravity.  相似文献

A simple example of classical physics may be defined as classical variables, p and q, and quantum physics may be defined as quantum operators, P and Q. The classical world of p&q, as it is currently understood, is truly disconnected from the quantum world, as it is currently understood. The process of quantization, for which there are several procedures, aims to promote a classical issue into a related quantum issue. In order to retain their physical connection, it becomes critical as to how to promote specific classical variables to associated specific quantum variables. This paper, which also serves as a review paper, leads the reader toward specific, but natural, procedures that promise to ensure that the classical and quantum choices are guaranteed a proper physical connection. Moreover, parallel procedures for fields, and even gravity, that connect classical and quantum physical regimes, will be introduced.  相似文献

Let M be a von Neumann algebra acting on a Hilbert space H and H a cyclic and separating vector for M. If there exists a half-sided translation for M, i.e. a continuous unitary group U(t) with U(t)=, a non-negative spectrum fulfilling Ad U(t)M M for t 0 (or 0), then we will show that either M is of type III1 or U(t) is trivial.  相似文献

Let us consider a Lie (super)algebra G spanned by T where T are quantum observables in BV formalism. It is proved that for every tensor c... that determines a homology class of the Lie algebra G the expression c...T...T is again a quantum observable. This theorem is used to construct quantum observables in the BV sigma model. We apply this construction to explain Kontsevich's results about the relation between homology of the Lie algebra of Hamiltonian vector fields and topological invariants of manifolds.  相似文献

Cohomological Yang–Mills theory is formulated on a noncommutative differentiable four manifold through the -deformation of its corresponding BRST algebra. The resulting noncommutative field theory is a natural setting to define the -deformation of Donaldson invariants and they are interpreted as a mapping between the Chevalley–Eilenberg homology of noncommutative spacetime and the Chevalley–Eilenberg cohomology of noncommutative moduli of instantons. In the process we find that in the weak coupling limit the quantum theory is localized at the moduli space of noncommutative instantons.  相似文献

We suggest that quantum mechanics and gravity are intimately related. In particular, we investigate the quantum Hamilton–Jacobi equation in the case of two free particles and show that the quantum potential, which is attractive, may generate the gravitational potential. The investigation, related to the formulation of quantum mechanics based on the equivalence postulate, is based on the analysis of the reduced action. A consequence of this approach is that the quantum potential is always non-trivial even in the case of the free particle. It plays the role of intrinsic energy and may in fact be at the origin of fundamental interactions. We pursue this idea, by making a preliminary investigation of whether there exists a set of solutions for which the quantum potential can be expressed with a gravitational potential leading term which alone would remain in the limit 0. A number of questions are raised for further investigation.  相似文献

We derive a generalization of the classical dynamical Yang–Baxter equation (CDYBE) on a self-dual Lie algebra G by replacing the cotangent bundle T*G in a geometric interpretation of this equation by its Poisson–Lie (PL) analogue associated with a factorizable constant r-matrix on G. The resulting PL-CDYBE, with variables in the Lie group G equipped with the Semenov-Tian-Shansky Poisson bracket based on the constant r-matrix, coincides with an equation that appeared in an earlier study of PL symmetries in the WZNW model. In addition to its new group theoretic interpretation, we present a self-contained analysis of those solutions of the PL-CDYBE that were found in the WZNW context and characterize them by means of a uniqueness result under a certain analyticity assumption.  相似文献
