For unsaturatedk-photon absorption the exact solution of the master equation for the diagonal elements is presented. This solution is found by Laplace-transformation and recursion. It has the form of a double sum over the initial values. Commuting the order of summation we then show, that fork2 the photon distribution does not depend on the initial distribution if the initial mean photon number is sufficiently high and the square of the resulting photon number is small against the initial photon number.  相似文献

By virtue of the density operator's P-representation in the coherent state representation, we derive a new quantum mechanical photon counting distribution formula. As its application, we calculate photon counting distributions for some given light fields. It is found that the pure squeezed state's photon counting distribution is related to the Legendre function, which is a new result.  相似文献

运用全量子理论并结合数值计算方法,研究了Kerr介质腔中处于Bell态的两个全同二能级纠缠原子与双模纠缠相干光场相互作用系统的原子偶极压缩特性.讨论了双原子体系的初态、光场的平均光子数、双模纠缠相干光场的纠缠程度以及Kerr介质与双模光场的耦合强度对原子偶极压缩特性的影响.结果表明:双原子体系的初态为11>时,不会出现偶极压缩效应;初态为|β00>,|β01>或|β10>时在一定条件下可能出现原子压缩效应,且此时原子压缩的特性与Kerr介质与双模光场的耦合强度、初始光场的平均光子数、双模纠缠相干光场的纠缠程度有关. 关键词: 量子光学 Bell态 双模纠缠相干光场 Kerr介质  相似文献

采用数值计算法研究了纠缠双原子和相干光场相互作用中辐射光场光子数分布的演化特性。结果表明,通过和纠缠双原子的相互作用,使得不具有反聚束效应和光子亚泊松分布的相干光场获得了非经典特性。并且初始双原子间的纠缠强度越大,辐射光场的非经典性质越强,说明可以通过选择初始原子状态制备非经典辐射光场。  相似文献

运用全量子理论并结合数值计算方法,研究了克尔介质腔中处于贝尔态的两个全同二能级纠缠原子与双模纠缠相干光场相互作用系统的光子统计特性。讨论了双原子体系的初态、初始光场的平均光子数、双模纠缠相干光场的纠缠程度以及克尔介质与双模光场的耦合强度对光子统计特性的影响。结果表明:忽略克尔介质的作用时,只有当双原子体系的初态为0β1〉或1β1〉时,在一定的条件下才可出现光子的反聚束效应,而当双原子体系的初态为β00〉、1β0〉时,光场在其演化过程中不出现光子的反聚束效应。而当考虑克尔介质的作用时,四种初态下光场演化过程中均有可能出现光子的反聚束效应。光子的反聚束效应出现的次数、时间和深度极其敏感地依赖于初始光场的平均光子数和克尔介质与双模光场的耦合强度,同时也受到双模纠缠光场的纠缠程度的影响。  相似文献

导出了类Kerr介质中双模SU(1,1)相干态场与Λ型三能级原子相互作用系统的态函数,研究了Kerr效应对Λ型三能级原子布居概率、双模SU(1,1)相干态场的互关联函数、Cauchy-Schwartz不等式及二阶相干度的影响.结果表明:Kerr效应使原子与光场的耦合减弱,原子布居的崩塌与复苏的周期缩短;在初始光场较弱和较强两种情况下,类Kerr介质对双模SU(1,1)相干态场两模间的相关性、相关程度以及光子的聚束与反聚束效应产生的作用有明显的区别.  相似文献

提出一种制备Fock态的新方案研究在包含有自相位调制的Kerr介质中两束光的相互作用,信号光场和探测光场初始处于相干态,经由非线性相互作用后演化成为纠缠态.若对探测光场的正交位相分量实行第一类量子测量,信号光场的光子数分布会受到调制.重复上述过程,发现信号光场最终演化成为一个纯的Fock态.这种制备Fock态的原理是基于互相位调制,而自相位调制则起着阻碍Fock态形成的作用.  相似文献

采用求解薛定谔方程和数值计算方法,研究了V型三能级原子与双模奇偶纠缠相干光场相互作用过程中的光场压缩效应,讨论了压缩效应与双模奇偶纠缠相干光场的纠缠程度、系统失谐量、双模光场的平均光子数和原子基态概率幅的依赖关系。结果表明:光场压缩效应与双模奇偶纠缠相干光场的纠缠程度、失谐量、平均光子数和原子初态相关联:双模纠缠相干光场处于非纠缠状态时的光场压缩量比光场处于纠缠状态时要大;原子处在单纯的基态或激发态时光场都有明显的压缩现象出现;而原子初态中基态和激发态的概率幅较接近时无光场压缩现象;无论光场是否处于纠缠态,只有两模平均光子数接近时,光场才会出现压缩效应。  相似文献

The approximate photon counting distribution si calculated for the polarized superposition of one-mode coherent light and chaotic light consisting of two Lorentzian spectral lines. Further the exact and approximate third factorial moments of the photon counting distribution are proposed in this case. 采用求解薛定谔方程和数值计算方法,研究了克尔介质中双模纠缠相干光场与三能级原子相互作用系统的光子统计性质,分析了双模纠缠相干光场的纠缠程度、克尔介质与光场的耦合强度、双模光的平均光子数和原子基态概率幅对光子统计性质的影响。结果表明:双模纠缠相干光场的纠缠程度对光子统计性质没有明显的影响;克尔效应增强使光子统计性质的时闻演化曲线的振荡频率变大、振荡幅度变小;当保持场模1的平均光子数不变而场模2的平均光子数变小时,光子统计性质的时间演化曲线的振荡幅度变大。  相似文献

In our previous paper, we have introduced a new kind of continuous-variable-type entangled states, called double-mode excited entangled coherent states. In this paper, we study sum squeezing properties of such excited entangled coherent states. We focus on discussing the influence of photon excitations on sum squeezing properties. It is found that the photon excitations seriously affected sqeezing properties of the excited entangled coherent states. With increasing the number of the photon excitations m, the higher-order terms move away from its initial state |ψ 0〉 and the degrees of sum squeezing are increasing. In this sense, it implies that the photon excitations excitated the sum sqeezing properties of the double-mode excited entangled coherent states.  相似文献

As an important parameter, von Neumann entropy has been used to characterize the entanglement between atom and light field. We discussed the entanglement and nonclassicality evolution of an atom in a squeezed vacuum—a typical nonclassical field, and compare it with that of the coherent state. It shows that the atom-field entanglement in squeezed vacuum is much stronger and stabler than that in coherent state, whereas the nonclassicality of the light field depends on its initial status. This investigation is trying to find a new insight into the relation between entanglement of atom-field system and nonclassicality of light fields. The result shows that the entanglement between the atom and the field can be maintained well in the squeezed vacuum and this implies better control of atom and photon mutually.  相似文献

本文利用全量子理论,在非旋波近似下对单模相干态光场与级联型三能级原子相互作用过程中场熵随时间的演化进行了精确求解.数值计算的结果表明:随着初始时刻平均光子数n以及光场与原子的耦合强度u, v的增大,场熵的平均值先增大后减小,因此纠缠度也同样先增大后减小;随着失谐量Δ的增大,场熵的平均值逐渐减小,因此纠缠度也逐渐减小. 关键词: 相干态正交化展开 非旋波近似 场熵  相似文献

The analytical solution of the quantum driven harmonic oscillator of time dependent mass and frequency (DHTDMF) is exploited to obtain the photon-bunching, photon-antibunching and the nonclassical photon statistics of the input coherent light coupled to the oscillator. We observe that the model Hamiltonian of a DHTDMF coincides with those of the model Hamiltonian of a two-photon coherent state due to H.P. Yuen [Phys. Rev. A 13 (1976) 226]. To substantiate our analytical results, we give a special case corresponding to a damped harmonic oscillator subject to an external periodic force. The quantum statistical properties of the radiation field are discussed for under-, over-, and for critically-damped situations of the oscillator coupled to an initial coherent field. The off-resonance and the near- or on-resonance of the oscillator with respect to the frequency of the external force are discussed. In the determination of quantum statistical properties of the radiation field, we observe that the effects of the driving force are important only when the frequency of the oscillator is in near- or in on-resonance condition with that of the frequency of the external periodic force.  相似文献

We propose an experimental scheme to probe the mathematical form of quantum jump operators used in the theory of continuous photodetection and quantum trajectories in cavities. For this aim, we propose two main steps to be followed in an experimental design: (1) pass an atom through a high-Q cavity containing an electromagnetic field prepared in a thermal or coherent state, in order to enforce the absorption of one or more photons and (2) subsequently produce a measurement of the photon statistics in the new field state arising after the photon absorption. Then, comparing the probabilities of finding zero and one photon in the initial and final states of the field, one can draw conclusions on the form of the quantum jump operators. This scheme can be readily applied in a QED microwave cavity with the present-day technology, and it allows experimental investigations of the theory of quantum jumps due to different kinds of hypothetical reservoirs.  相似文献

Phoenix和Knight提出的量子熵理论,用量子熵作为缠结程度的量度,研究了附加克尔介质依赖强度耦合Jaynes-Cummings模型场熵演化的动力学特性和原子-场的缠结特性,详细地讨论了克尔效应及初始相干光场的强弱对场熵演化特性和原子-场缠结特性的影响,并与原子反转特性相比较.结果表明:在初始相干光场较弱时(n=10),克尔介质的非线性相互作用破坏了场熵演化的周期性,原子-场不再周期消缠结.但在初始相干光场较强时(n=50),克尔介质非线性相互作用只是使场熵演化的周期性减弱,场熵的演化仍近似地有周期性,原子-场仍周期消缠结,克尔效应越强,周期越小.当克尔介质与光场强耦合相互作用时(χ/g=5),原子-场持续消缠结.  相似文献

For degenerate unsaturated two-photon absorption the short-time expansion for initially coherent light derived from the exact solution or by iteration is summed. By this approach we derive simple analytical expressions, still decribing photon antibunching and squeezing correctly. we present a theoretical study of coincidence imaging and interference with coherent Gaussian beams. The equations for the coincidence image formation and interference fringes are derived, from which it is clear that the imaging is due to the corresponding focusing in the two paths. The quality and visibility of the images and fringes can be high simultaneously. The nature of the coincidence imaging and interference between quantum entangled photon pairs and coherent Gaussian beams are different. The coincidence image with coherent Gaussian beams is due to intensity-intensity correspondence, a classical nature, while that with entangled photon pairs is due to the amplitude correlation a quantum nature. We establish the superfluidity theory of coherent light in waveguides made of nonlinear polar crystals.It is found that the pairing state of photons in a nonlinear polar crystal is the photonic superfluid state.The photon-photon interaction potential is an attractive effective interaction by exchange of virtual optical phonons.In the traveling-wave pairing state of photons,the photon number is conserved,which is similar to the Bose-Einstein condensation(BEC) state of photons.In analogy to the BCS-BEC crossover theory of superconductivity,we derive a set of coupled order parameter and number equations,which determine the solution of the traveling-wave superfluid state of photons.This solution gives the critical velocity of light in a self-focusing nonlinear waveguide.The most important property of the photonic superfluid state is that the system of photon pairs evolves without scattering attenuations.  相似文献
