Finite p-Groups Whose Abelian Subgroups Have a Trivial Intersection

A subgroup H of a finite group G is called a TI-subgroup if H ∩ H^x = 1 or H for all x ∈ G. In this paper, a complete classification for finite p-groups, in which all abelian subgroups are TI-subgroups, is given.     

On Cycles Containing a Given Arc in Regular Multipartite Tournaments

In this paper we prove that if T is a regular n-partite tournament with n≥4, then each arc of T lies on a cycle whose vertices are from exactly κ partite sets for κ=4,5,…,n. Our result, in a sense, generalizes a theorem due to Alspach.

Tracial Limit of C^＊-algebras

A new limit of C^*-algebras, the tracial limit, is introduced in this paper. We show that a separable simple C^*-algebra A is a tracial limit of C^*-algebras in Z-(k) if and only if A has tracial topological rank no more than k. We present several known results using the notion of tracial limits.

Mann iteration of weak convergence theorems in Banach space

In this paper, by using Mann＇s iteration process we will establish several weak convergence theorems for approximating a fixed point of k-strictly pseudocontractive mappings with respect to p in p-uniformly convex Banach spaces. Our results answer partially the open question proposed by Marino and Xu, and extend Reich＇s theorem from nonexpansive mappings to k-strict pseudocontractive mappings.     

The <Emphasis Type="Italic">L</Emphasis><Subscript><Emphasis Type="Italic">p</Emphasis></Subscript>-saturation for linear combination of Bernstein-Kantorovich operators

We study the L _p -saturation for the linear combination of Bernstein-Kantorovich operators. As a result we obtain the saturation class by using K-functional as well as some modulus of smoothness.
