Let ${(\phi, \psi)}$ be an (m, n)-valued pair of maps ${\phi, \psi : X \multimap Y}$ , where ${\phi}$ is an m-valued map and ${\psi}$ is n-valued, on connected finite polyhedra. A point ${x \in X}$ is a coincidence point of ${\phi}$ and ${\psi}$ if ${\phi(x) \cap \psi(x) \neq \emptyset}$ . We define a Nielsen coincidence number ${N(\phi : \psi)}$ which is a lower bound for the number of coincidence points of all (m, n)-valued pairs of maps homotopic to ${(\phi, \psi)}$ . We calculate ${N(\phi : \psi)}$ for all (m, n)-valued pairs of maps of the circle and show that ${N(\phi : \psi)}$ is a sharp lower bound in that setting. Specifically, if ${\phi}$ is of degree a and ${\psi}$ of degree b, then ${N(\phi : \psi) = \frac{|an - bm|}{\langle m, n \rangle}}$ , where ${\langle m, n \rangle}$ is the greatest common divisor of m and n. In order to carry out the calculation, we obtain results, of independent interest, for n-valued maps of compact connected Lie groups that relate the Nielsen fixed point number of Helga Schirmer to the Nielsen root number of Michael Brown.  相似文献

In this paper, we describe a relationship between the simplest examples of arithmetic theta series. The first of these are the weight 1 theta series ${\widehat{\phi}_{\mathcal C}(\tau)}$ defined using arithmetic 0-cycles on the moduli space ${\mathcal C}$ of elliptic curves with CM by the ring of integers ${O_{\kappa}}$ of an imaginary quadratic field. The second such series ${\widehat{\phi}_{\mathcal M}(\tau)}$ has weight 3/2 and takes values in the arithmetic Chow group ${\widehat{{\rm CH}}^1(\mathcal{M})}$ of the arithmetic surface associated to an indefinite quaternion algebra ${B/\mathbb{Q}}$ . For an embedding ${O_\kappa \rightarrow O_B}$ , a maximal order in B, and a two sided O B -ideal Λ, there is a morphism ${j_\Lambda:{\mathcal C} \rightarrow {\mathcal M}}$ and a pullback ${j_\Lambda^*: \widehat{{\rm CH}}^1(\mathcal{M}) \rightarrow \widehat{{\rm CH}}^1(\mathcal C)}$ . Our main result is an expression for the pullback ${j^*_\Lambda \widehat{\phi}_{\mathcal M}(\tau)}$ as a linear combination of products of ${\widehat{\phi}_{\mathcal C}(\tau)}$ ’s and classical weight ${\frac{1}{2}}$ theta series.  相似文献

The energy of a graph is defined as the sum of the absolute values of all eigenvalues of the graph. A tree is said to be non-starlike if it has at least two vertices with degree more than 2. A caterpillar is a tree in which a removal of all pendent vertices makes a path. Let $\mathcal{T}_{n,d}$ , $\mathbb{T}_{n,p}$ be the set of all trees of order n with diameter d, p pendent vertices respectively. In this paper, we investigate the relations on the ordering of trees and non-starlike trees by minimal energies between $\mathcal{T}_{n,d}$ and $\mathbb{T}_{n,n-d+1}$ . We first show that the first two trees (non-starlike trees, resp.) with minimal energies in $\mathcal{T}_{n,d}$ and $\mathbb{T}_{n,n-d+1}$ are the same for 3≤dn?2 (3≤dn?3, resp.). Then we obtain that the trees with third-minimal energy in $\mathcal{T}_{n,d}$ and $\mathbb{T}_{n,n-d+1}$ are the same when n≥11, 3≤dn?2 and d≠8; and the tree with third-minimal energy in $\mathcal{T}_{n,8}$ is the caterpillar with third-minimal energy in $\mathbb{T}_{n,n-7}$ for n≥11.  相似文献

For two graphs G and H their wreath product ${G \otimes H}$ has the vertex set ${V(G) \times V(H)}$ in which two vertices (g 1, h 1) and (g 2, h 2) are adjacent whenever ${g_{1}g_{2} \in E(G)}$ or g 1g 2 and ${h_{1}h_{2} \in E(H)}$ . Clearly ${K_{m} \otimes I_{n}}$ , where I n is an independent set on n vertices, is isomorphic to the complete m-partite graph in which each partite set has exactly n vertices. A subgraph of the complete multipartite graph ${K_m \otimes I_n}$ containing vertices of all but one partite set is called partial factor. An H-frame of ${K_m \otimes I_n}$ is a decomposition of ${K_m \otimes I_n}$ into partial factors such that each component of it is isomorphic to H. In this paper, we investigate C 2k -frames of ${(K_m \otimes I_n)(\lambda)}$ , and give some necessary or sufficient conditions for such a frame to exist. In particular, we give a complete solution for the existence of a C 4p -frame of ${(K_m \otimes I_n)(\lambda)}$ , where p is a prime, as follows: For an integer m ≥  3 and a prime p, there exists a C 4p -frame of ${(K_m \otimes I_n)(\lambda)}$ if and only if ${(m-1)n \equiv 0 ({\rm {mod}} {4p})}$ and at least one of m, n must be even, when λ is odd.  相似文献

Let X be an ANR (absolute neighborhood retract), ${\Lambda}$ a k-dimensional topological manifold with topological orientation ${\eta}$ , and ${f : D \rightarrow X}$ a locally compact map, where D is an open subset of ${X \times \Lambda}$ . We define Fix(f) as the set of points ${{(x, \lambda) \in D}}$ such that ${x = f(x, \lambda)}$ . For an open pair (U, V) in ${X \times \Lambda}$ such that ${{\rm Fix}(f) \cap U \backslash V}$ is compact we construct a homomorphism ${\Sigma_{(f,U,V)} : H^{k}(U, V ) \rightarrow R}$ in the singular cohomologies H* over a ring-with-unit R, in such a way that the properties of Solvability, Excision and Naturality, Homotopy Invariance, Additivity, Multiplicativity, Normalization, Orientation Invariance, Commutativity, Contraction, Topological Invariance, and Ring Naturality hold. In the case of a ${C^{\infty}}$ -manifold ${\Lambda}$ , these properties uniquely determine ${\Sigma}$ . By passing to the direct limit of ${\Sigma_{(f,U,V)}}$ with respect to the pairs (U, V) such that ${K = {\rm Fix}(f) \cap U \backslash V}$ , we define a homomorphism ${\sigma_{(f,K)} : {H}_{k}({\rm Fix}(f), Fix(f) \backslash K) \rightarrow R}$ in the ?ech cohomologies. Properties of ${\Sigma}$ and ${\sigma}$ are equivalent each to the other. We indicate how the homomorphisms generalize the fixed point index.  相似文献

Given a strictly increasing sequence ${\Lambda = (\lambda_n)}$ of nonnegative real numbers, with ${\sum_{n=1}^\infty \frac{1}{\lambda_n}<\infty}$ , the Müntz spaces ${M_\Lambda^p}$ are defined as the closure in L p ([0, 1]) of the monomials ${x^{\lambda_n}}$ . We discuss how properties of the embedding ${M_\Lambda^2\subset L^2(\mu)}$ , where?μ is a finite positive Borel measure on the interval [0, 1], have immediate consequences for composition operators on ${M^2_\Lambda}$ . We give criteria for composition operators to be bounded, compact, or to belong to the Schatten–von Neumann ideals.  相似文献

A proper t-coloring of a graph G is a mapping ${\varphi: V(G) \rightarrow [1, t]}$ such that ${\varphi(u) \neq \varphi(v)}$ if u and v are adjacent vertices, where t is a positive integer. The chromatic number of a graph G, denoted by ${\chi(G)}$ , is the minimum number of colors required in any proper coloring of G. A linear t-coloring of a graph is a proper t-coloring such that the graph induced by the vertices of any two color classes is the union of vertex-disjoint paths. The linear chromatic number of a graph G, denoted by ${lc(G)}$ , is the minimum t such that G has a linear t-coloring. In this paper, the linear t-colorings of Sierpiński-like graphs S(n, k), ${S^+(n, k)}$ and ${S^{++}(n, k)}$ are studied. It is obtained that ${lc(S(n, k))= \chi (S(n, k)) = k}$ for any positive integers n and k, ${lc(S^+(n, k)) = \chi(S^+(n, k)) = k}$ and ${lc(S^{++}(n, k)) = \chi(S^{++}(n, k)) = k}$ for any positive integers ${n \geq 2}$ and ${k \geq 3}$ . Furthermore, we have determined the number of paths and the length of each path in the subgraph induced by the union of any two color classes completely.  相似文献

Let ${{\mathbb H}_n, n \geq 1}$ , be the near 2n-gon defined on the 1-factors of the complete graph on 2n?+?2 vertices, and let e denote the absolutely universal embedding of ${{\mathbb H}_n}$ into PG(W), where W is a ${\frac{1}{n+2} \left(\begin{array}{c}2n+2 \\ n+1\end{array}\right)}$ -dimensional vector space over the field ${{\mathbb F}_2}$ with two elements. For every point z of ${{\mathbb H}_n}$ and every ${i \in {\mathbb N}}$ , let Δ i (z) denote the set of points of ${{\mathbb H}_n}$ at distance i from z. We show that for every pair {x, y} of mutually opposite points of ${{\mathbb H}_n, W}$ can be written as a direct sum ${W_0 \oplus W_1 \oplus \cdots \oplus W_n}$ such that the following four properties hold for every ${i \in \{0,\ldots,n \}}$ : (1) ${\langle e(\Delta_i(x) \cap \Delta_{n-i}(y)) \rangle = {\rm PG}(W_i)}$ ; (2) ${\left\langle e \left( \bigcup_{j \leq i} \Delta_j(x) \right) \right\rangle = {\rm PG}(W_0 \oplus W_1 \oplus \cdots \oplus W_i)}$ ; (3) ${\left\langle e \left( \bigcup_{j \leq i} \Delta_j(y) \right) \right\rangle = {\rm PG}(W_{n-i}\oplus W_{n-i+1} \oplus \cdots \oplus W_n)}$ ; (4) ${\dim(W_i) = |\Delta_i(x) \cap \Delta_{n-i}(y)| = \left(\begin{array}{c}n \\ i\end{array}\right)^2 - \left(\begin{array}{c}n \\ i-1\end{array}\right) \cdot \left(\begin{array}{c}n \\ i+1\end{array}\right)}$ .  相似文献

In this paper we mainly study the homological properties of dual modules over k-Gorenstein rings. For a right quasi k-Gorenstein ring Λ, we show that the right self-injective dimension of Λ is at most k if and only if each M?∈ mod Λ satisfying the condition that Ext $_{\Lambda}^i(M, \Lambda)=0$ for any 1?≤?i?≤?k is reflexive. For an ∞-Gorenstein ring, we show that the big and small finitistic dimensions and the self-injective dimension of Λ are identical. In addition, we show that if Λ is a left quasi ∞-Gorenstein ring and M?∈ mod Λ with gradeM finite, then Ext $_{\Lambda}^i($ Ext $_{\Lambda ^{op}}^i($ Ext $_{\Lambda}^{{\rm grade}M}(M, \Lambda), \Lambda), \Lambda)=0$ if and only if i?≠gradeM. For a 2-Gorenstein ring Λ, we show that a non-zero proper left ideal I of Λ is reflexive if and only if Λ/I has no non-zero pseudo-null submodule.  相似文献

Let (M,g) be an n-dimensional, compact Riemannian manifold and ${P_0(\hbar) = -\hbar{^2} \Delta_g + V(x)}$ be a semiclassical Schrödinger operator with ${\hbar \in (0,\hbar_0]}$ . Let ${E(\hbar) \in [E-o(1),E+o(1)]}$ and ${(\phi_{\hbar})_{\hbar \in (0,\hbar_0]}}$ be a family of L 2-normalized eigenfunctions of ${P_0(\hbar)}$ with ${P_0(\hbar) \phi_{\hbar} = E(\hbar) \phi_{\hbar}}$ . We consider magnetic deformations of ${P_0(\hbar)}$ of the form ${P_u(\hbar) = - \Delta_{\omega_u}(\hbar) + V(x)}$ , where ${\Delta_{\omega_u}(\hbar) = (\hbar d + i \omega_u(x))^*({\hbar}d + i \omega_u(x))}$ . Here, u is a k-dimensional parameter running over ${B^k(\epsilon)}$ (the ball of radius ${\epsilon}$ ), and the family of the magnetic potentials ${(w_u)_{u\in B^k(\epsilon)}}$ satisfies the admissibility condition given in Definition 1.1. This condition implies that kn and is generic under this assumption. Consider the corresponding family of deformations of ${(\phi_{\hbar})_{\hbar \in (0, \hbar_0]}}$ , given by ${(\phi^u_{\hbar})_{\hbar \in(0, \hbar_0]}}$ , where $$\phi_{\hbar}^{(u)}:= {\rm e}^{-it_0 P_u(\hbar)/\hbar}\phi_{\hbar}$$ for ${|t_0|\in (0,\epsilon)}$ ; the latter functions are themselves eigenfunctions of the ${\hbar}$ -elliptic operators ${Q_u(\hbar): ={\rm e}^{-it_0P_u(\hbar)/\hbar} P_0(\hbar) {\rm e}^{it_0 P_u(\hbar)/\hbar}}$ with eigenvalue ${E(\hbar)}$ and ${Q_0(\hbar) = P_{0}(\hbar)}$ . Our main result, Theorem1.2, states that for ${\epsilon >0 }$ small, there are constants ${C_j=C_j(M,V,\omega,\epsilon) > 0}$ with j = 1,2 such that $$C_{1}\leq \int\limits_{\mathcal{B}^k(\epsilon)} |\phi_{\hbar}^{(u)}(x)|^2 \, {\rm d}u \leq C_{2}$$ , uniformly for ${x \in M}$ and ${\hbar \in (0,h_0]}$ . We also give an application to eigenfunction restriction bounds in Theorem 1.3.  相似文献

We consider a variant of the Cops and Robber game, in which the robber has unbounded speed, i.e., can take any path from her vertex in her turn, but she is not allowed to pass through a vertex occupied by a cop. Let ${c_{\infty}(G)}$ denote the number of cops needed to capture the robber in a graph G in this variant. We characterize graphs G with c ??(G) =? 1, and give an ${O( \mid V(G)\mid^2)}$ algorithm for their detection. We prove a lower bound for c ?? of expander graphs, and use it to prove three things. The first is that if ${np \geq 4.2 {\rm log}n}$ then the random graph ${G= \mathcal{G}(n, p)}$ asymptotically almost surely has ${\eta_{1}/p \leq \eta_{2}{\rm log}(np)/p}$ , for suitable positive constants ${\eta_{1}}$ and ${\eta_{2}}$ . The second is that a fixed-degree random regular graph G with n vertices asymptotically almost surely has ${c_{\infty}(G) = \Theta(n)}$ . The third is that if G is a Cartesian product of m paths, then ${n/4km^2 \leq c_{\infty}(G) \leq n/k}$ , where ${n = \mid V(G)\mid}$ and k is the number of vertices of the longest path.  相似文献

This paper addresses the question of retrieving the triple ${(\mathcal X,\mathcal P, E)}$ from the algebraic geometry code ${\mathcal C = \mathcal C_L(\mathcal X, \mathcal P, E)}$ , where ${\mathcal X}$ is an algebraic curve over the finite field ${\mathbb F_q, \,\mathcal P}$ is an n-tuple of ${\mathbb F_q}$ -rational points on ${\mathcal X}$ and E is a divisor on ${\mathcal X}$ . If ${\deg(E)\geq 2g+1}$ where g is the genus of ${\mathcal X}$ , then there is an embedding of ${\mathcal X}$ onto ${\mathcal Y}$ in the projective space of the linear series of the divisor E. Moreover, if ${\deg(E)\geq 2g+2}$ , then ${I(\mathcal Y)}$ , the vanishing ideal of ${\mathcal Y}$ , is generated by ${I_2(\mathcal Y)}$ , the homogeneous elements of degree two in ${I(\mathcal Y)}$ . If ${n >2 \deg(E)}$ , then ${I_2(\mathcal Y)=I_2(\mathcal Q)}$ , where ${\mathcal Q}$ is the image of ${\mathcal P}$ under the map from ${\mathcal X}$ to ${\mathcal Y}$ . These three results imply that, if ${2g+2\leq m < \frac{1}{2}n}$ , an AG representation ${(\mathcal Y, \mathcal Q, F)}$ of the code ${\mathcal C}$ can be obtained just using a generator matrix of ${\mathcal C}$ where ${\mathcal Y}$ is a normal curve in ${\mathbb{P}^{m-g}}$ which is the intersection of quadrics. This fact gives us some clues for breaking McEliece cryptosystem based on AG codes provided that we have an efficient procedure for computing and decoding the representation obtained.  相似文献

Let (M, g) be any compact, connected, Riemannian manifold of dimension n. We use a transport of measures and the barycentre to construct a map from (M, g) onto a flat torus ${ (\mathbb R^n/\Lambda, g_0)}$ , in such a way that its jacobian is sharply bounded from above. We make no assumptions on the topology of (M, g) and on its curvature and geometry, but we only assume the existence of a measurable Gromov–Hausdorff ${\varepsilon}$ -approximation between ${(\mathbb R^n/\Lambda,g_0)}$ and (M, g). When the Hausdorff approximation is continuous with non vanishing degree, this leads to a sharp volume comparison, $${\rm Vol}(M,g)\geq\left(1-37(n+2)^2\frac{\varepsilon} {{\rm inj}(\mathbb R^n/\Lambda,g_0)}\right)^{\frac{n}{2}}\,\vert {\rm deg}\ h \vert\ {\rm Vol}(\mathbb R^n/\Lambda,g_0)$$ where ${{\rm inj}(\mathbb R^n/\Lambda,g_0)}$ is the injectivity radius of the flat torus. Notice that the above inequality is valid for any ${\varepsilon < \frac{{\rm inj}(\mathbb R^n/\Lambda,g_0)}{37(n+2)^2}}$ .  相似文献

Let A be an expansive dilation on ${{\mathbb R}^n}$ and w a Muckenhoupt ${\mathcal A_\infty(A)}$ weight. In this paper, for all parameters ${\alpha\in{\mathbb R} }$ and ${p,q\in(0,\infty)}$ , the authors identify the dual spaces of weighted anisotropic Besov spaces ${\dot B^\alpha_{p,q}(A;w)}$ and Triebel?CLizorkin spaces ${\dot F^\alpha_{p,q}(A;w)}$ with some new weighted Besov-type and Triebel?CLizorkin-type spaces. The corresponding results on anisotropic Besov spaces ${\dot B^\alpha_{p,q}(A; \mu)}$ and Triebel?CLizorkin spaces ${\dot F^\alpha_{p,q}(A; \mu)}$ associated with ${\rho_A}$ -doubling measure??? are also established. All results are new even for the classical weighted Besov and Triebel?CLizorkin spaces in the isotropic setting. In particular, the authors also obtain the ${\varphi}$ -transform characterization of the dual spaces of the classical weighted Hardy spaces on ${{\mathbb R}^n}$ .  相似文献

A broadcast on a nontrivial connected graph G is a function ${f:V \longrightarrow \{0, \ldots,\operatorname{diam}(G)\}}$ such that for every vertex ${v \in V(G)}$ , ${f(v) \leq e(v)}$ , where ${\operatorname{diam}(G)}$ denotes the diameter of G and e(v) denotes the eccentricity of vertex v. The broadcast independence number is the maximum value of ${\sum_{v \in V} f(v)}$ over all broadcasts f that satisfy ${d(u,v) > \max \{f(u), f(v)\}}$ for every pair of distinct vertices u, v with positive values. We determine this invariant for grid graphs ${G_{m,n} = P_m \square P_n}$ , where ${2 \leq m \leq n}$ and □ denotes the Cartesian product. We hereby answer one of the open problems raised by Dunbar et al. in (Discrete Appl Math 154:59–75, 2006).  相似文献

In the present study, we consider isometric immersions ${f : M \rightarrow \tilde{M}(c)}$ of (2n + 1)-dimensional invariant submanifold M 2n+1 of (2m + 1) dimensional Sasakian space form ${\tilde{M}^{2m+1}}$ of constant ${ \varphi}$ -sectional curvature c. We have shown that if f satisfies the curvature condition ${\overset{\_}{R}(X, Y) \cdot \sigma =Q(g, \sigma)}$ then either M 2n+1 is totally geodesic, or ${||\sigma||^{2}=\frac{1}{3}(2c+n(c+1)),}$ or ${||\sigma||^{2}(x) > \frac{1}{3}(2c+n(c+1)}$ at some point x of M 2n+1. We also prove that ${\overset{\_ }{R}(X, Y)\cdot \sigma = \frac{1}{2n}Q(S, \sigma)}$ then either M 2n+1 is totally geodesic, or ${||\sigma||^{2}=-\frac{2}{3}(\frac{1}{2n}\tau -\frac{1}{2}(n+2)(c+3)+3)}$ , or ${||\sigma||^{2}(x) > -\frac{2}{3}(\frac{1}{2n} \tau (x)-\frac{1}{2} (n+2)(c+3)+3)}$ at some point x of M 2n+1.  相似文献

Let ${\Phi}$ be a continuous, strictly increasing and concave function on (0, ∞) of critical lower type index ${p_\Phi^- \in(0,\,1]}$ . Let L be an injective operator of type ω having a bounded H functional calculus and satisfying the k-Davies–Gaffney estimates with ${k \in {\mathbb Z}_+}$ . In this paper, the authors first introduce an Orlicz–Hardy space ${H^{\Phi}_{L}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ in terms of the non-tangential L-adapted square function and then establish its molecular characterization. As applications, the authors prove that the generalized Riesz transform ${D_{\gamma}L^{-\delta/(2k)}}$ is bounded from the Orlicz–Hardy space ${H^{\Phi}_{L}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ to the Orlicz space ${L^{\widetilde{\Phi}}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ when ${p_\Phi^- \in (0, \frac{n}{n+ \delta - \gamma}]}$ , ${0 < \gamma \le \delta < \infty}$ and ${\delta- \gamma < n (\frac{1}{p_-(L)}-\frac{1}{p_+(L)})}$ , or from ${H^{\Phi}_{L}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ to the Orlicz–Hardy space ${H^{\widetilde \Phi}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ when ${p_\Phi^-\in (\frac{n}{n + \delta+ \lfloor \gamma \rfloor- \gamma},\,\frac{n}{n+ \delta- \gamma}]}$ , ${1\le \gamma \le \delta < \infty}$ and ${\delta- \gamma < n (\frac{1}{p_-(L)}-\frac{1}{p_+(L)})}$ , or from ${H^{\Phi}_{L}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ to the weak Orlicz–Hardy space ${WH^\Phi(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ when ${\gamma = \delta}$ and ${p_\Phi=n/(n + \lfloor \gamma \rfloor)}$ or ${p_\Phi^-=n/(n + \lfloor \gamma \rfloor)}$ with ${p_\Phi^-}$ attainable, where ${\widetilde{\Phi}}$ is an Orlicz function whose inverse function ${\widetilde{\Phi}^{-1}}$ is defined by ${\widetilde{\Phi}^{-1}(t):=\Phi^{-1}(t)t^{\frac{1}{n}(\gamma- \delta)}}$ for all ${t \in (0,\,\infty)}$ , ${p_\Phi}$ denotes the strictly critical lower type index of ${\Phi}$ , ${\lfloor \gamma \rfloor}$ the maximal integer not more than ${\gamma}$ and ${(p_-(L),\,p_+(L))}$ the range of exponents ${p \in[1,\, \infty]}$ for which the semigroup ${\{e^{-tL}\}_{t >0 }}$ is bounded on ${L^p(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ .  相似文献

We consider the case of hyperbolic basic sets $\Lambda $ of saddle type for holomorphic maps $f:{\mathbb{P }}^2{\mathbb{C }}\rightarrow {\mathbb{P }}^2{\mathbb{C }}$ . We study equilibrium measures $\mu _\phi $ associated to a class of Hölder potentials $\phi $ on $\Lambda $ , and find the measures $\mu _\phi $ of iterates of arbitrary Bowen balls. Estimates for the pointwise dimension $\delta _{\mu _\phi }$ of $\mu _\phi $ that involve Lyapunov exponents and a correction term are found, and also a formula for the Hausdorff dimension of $\mu _\phi $ in the case when the preimage counting function is constant on $\Lambda $ . For terminal/minimal saddle sets we prove that an invariant measure $\nu $ obtained as a wedge product of two positive closed currents, is in fact the measure of maximal entropy for the restriction $f|_\Lambda $ . This allows then to obtain formulas for the measure $\nu $ of arbitrary balls, and to give a formula for the pointwise dimension and the Hausdorff dimension of $\nu $ .  相似文献

This paper studies the distinctness of modular reductions of primitive sequences over ${\mathbf{Z}/(2^{32}-1)}$ . Let f(x) be a primitive polynomial of degree n over ${\mathbf{Z}/(2^{32}-1)}$ and H a positive integer with a prime factor coprime with 232?1. Under the assumption that every element in ${\mathbf{Z}/(2^{32}-1)}$ occurs in a primitive sequence of order n over ${\mathbf{Z}/(2^{32}-1)}$ , it is proved that for two primitive sequences ${\underline{a}=(a(t))_{t\geq 0}}$ and ${\underline{b}=(b(t))_{t\geq 0}}$ generated by f(x) over ${\mathbf{Z}/(2^{32}-1), \underline{a}=\underline{b}}$ if and only if ${a\left( t\right) \equiv b\left( t\right) \bmod{H}}$ for all t ≥ 0. Furthermore, the assumption is known to be valid for n between 7 and 100, 000, the range of which is sufficient for practical applications.  相似文献

We give a formula for the discriminant of the numerator of Φ n (x, t) and show that, if ${\phi(x)}$ is postcritically finite, for each specialization t 0 of t to K, there exists a finite set ${S_{t_0}}$ of primes of K such that for all n, the primes dividing the discriminant are contained in ${S_{t_0}}$ .  相似文献
