利用超短脉冲Z扫描技术和光学Kerr效应研究了以巯基丙酸为稳定剂的CdTe量子点水溶液的三阶光学非线性极化特性. 在532nm,30ps和800nm,130fs脉冲激光激发下, 发现分别具有正负相反取值的三阶光学非线性折射率,自由载流子吸收和双光子吸收分别是这两种脉冲激光激发下三阶光学非线性吸收的起因. 测量得到CdTe量子点的三阶光学非线性极化率约为CS2的32倍, 在520—700nm光谱区的CdTe量子点的光学响应时间小于400fs.

用胶体法制备了表面分别修饰六偏磷酸钠 (HMP)和 2 ,2’ 联吡啶 (BPy)的Ag2 S纳米微粒。通过背向简并四波混频实验装置对它们在单光子非共振区域的三阶光学非线性进行了实验研究 ,分别测量了两种Ag2 S纳米微粒在它们超滤液中三阶非线性极化率 χ( 3 ) 随浓度的变化 ,并拟合得到了两种纳米微粒的三阶非线性极化率。实验结果表明 ,双光子共振增强是实验中非线性极化的主要过程 ,同时实验结果也表明了局域场效应对单光子非共振三阶非线性极化率的增强作用 相似文献

本文主要研究了一个特殊非对称量子阱中的二阶非线性光学极化率,并且利用量子力学中的密度矩阵算符理论和迭代方法导出了二次谐波极化率的解析表达式.最后,以典型的GaAs/AlGaAs非对称量子阱为例作了数值计算.数值结果表明,较大的二次谐波极化率与系统的非对称性有关,系统的非对称性越大,二次谐波极化率越大. 相似文献

采用紫外可见吸收和二次谐波产生技术研究了“推-拉”型偶氮苯分子Langmuir-Blodgett(LB)膜的光谱和二阶非线性光学特性.4-硝基-4′-氨基偶氮苯(NAA)分子能制成很好的LB多层膜,在稀溶液中以单体的反式异构体形式存在,在膜中主要以J-聚集体的形式存在,LB膜的紫外可见吸收谱的吸收峰较之溶液的发生了52 nm的红移.NAALB膜的二阶非线性极化率χ(2)为19.59×10-8 esu,一阶超极化率β值较大,约为1.974×10-29 esu.其光学二阶非线性起源于电偶极子机制. 相似文献

研究了中心对称稀土夹心双萘酞菁化合物LB膜的光谱及其二阶非线性光学特性.双(四叔丁基萘酞菁)铒能制成很好的LB膜,不论在稀溶液中还是在LB膜中均主要以单体的形式存在,分子具有较大的超极化率β.由于分子为中心对称结构,所以它们的二次谐波产生机制不同于不对称萘酞菁化合物,研究证明它的二阶非线性光学特性起源于电四极子模型,其LB膜的有效二阶非线性极化率χ(2)为1.1×10-8 esu. 相似文献

We report the application of electric-field-induced optical second-harmonic generation as a new technique for measuring the field of freely propagating terahertz radiation. Using silicon as the nonlinear medium, we demonstrate subpicosecond time resolution and a sampling signal that varies linearly with the terahertz electric field. This approach, which is attractive for centrosymmetric media, permits a significantly broadened class of materials to be exploited for free-space sampling measurements. 相似文献

We report the first experimental measurement of fringe-angle applied electric field scaling of space charge growth and of crystallographic orientation effects in the initial development of the diffraction efficiency of thick holograms produced by the photorefractive effect in a bismuth silicon oxide (BSO) crystal. Diffraction efficiencies of holograms made by interfering two plane waves on the [¯110] face are measured as a function of the angle between the fringe pattern and the applied electric field. As the crystal is rotated relative to the interference fringes, the applied field may be scaled to yield identical space charge growth. Polarization-dependent diffraction measurements agree with the theory of a birefringent grating when optical activity is included as a separate, serial effect. Both the rotation-scaled applied electric fields and the crystallographic variations in the birefringent diffraction grating are consistent with charge transport processes in which the initial space charge fields are perpendicular to the interference fringes over growth times extending nearly into the steady state regime. 相似文献

In this work we are studying the intense laser effects on the electron-related linear and nonlinear optical properties in GaAs–Ga1?xAlxAs quantum wells under applied electric and magnetic fields. The calculated quantities include linear optical absorption coefficient and relative change of the refractive index, as well as their corresponding third-order nonlinear corrections. The nonlinear optical rectification and the second and third harmonic generation coefficients are also reported. The DC applied electric field is oriented along the hererostructure growth direction whereas the magnetic field is taken in-plane. The calculations make use of the density matrix formalism to express the different orders of the dielectric susceptibility. Additionally, the model includes the effective mass and parabolic band approximations. The intense laser effects upon the system enter through the Floquet method that modifies the confinement potential associated to the heterostructure. The results correspond to several configurations of the dimensions of the quantum well, the applied electric and magnetic fields, and the incident intense laser radiation. They suggest that the nonlinear optical absorption and optical rectification are nonmonotone functions of the dimensions of the heterostructure and of the external perturbations considered in this work. 相似文献
