Pale blue, lath‐shaped single crystals of K2NdP2S7 (≡ K4Nd2[PS4]2[P2S6]; monoclinic, P21/n, a = 904.76(8), b = 677.38(6), c = 1988.7(2) pm, β = 97.295(5)°, Z = 2) are obtained by the reaction of Nd, S and P2S5 with an excess of KCl as a flux in evacuated silica tubes at 750 °C (7 d) which should produce Nd[PS4] instead. Beside isolated [PS4]3– tetrahedra, the crystal structure contains discrete ethane‐analogous [P2S6]4– (≡ [S3P–PS3]4–) units in staggered conformation with tetravalent phosphorus cations and a P–P distance of 219 pm. The two crystallographically different potassium cations show coordination numbers of nine and ten in the shape of distorted mono‐ and bicapped square antiprisms. Finally, the Nd3+ cations are surrounded by eight sulfur atoms arranged as (uncapped) square antiprisms. The entire structure is dominated by (K1)+ containing {(Nd2[PS4]2[P2S6])4–} layers parallel (101) which are three‐dimensionally interconnected by (K2)+ cations.  相似文献

Light‐yellow single crystals of the mixed‐valent mercury‐rich basic nitrate Hg8O4(OH)(NO3)5 were obtained as a by‐product at 85 °C from a melt consisting of stoichiometric amounts of (HgI2)(NO3)2·2H2O and HgII(OH)(NO3). The title compound, represented by the more detailed formula HgI2(NO3)2·HgII(OH)(NO3)·HgII(NO3)2·4HgIIO, exhibits a new structure type (monoclinic, C2/c, Z = 4, a = 6.7708(7), b = 11.6692(11), c = 24.492(2) Å, β = 96.851(2)°, 2920 structure factors, 178 parameters, R1[F2 > 2σ(F2)] = 0.0316) and is made up of almost linear [O‐HgII‐O] and [O‐HgI‐HgI‐O] building blocks with typical HgII‐O distances around 2.06Å and a HgI‐O distance of 2.13Å. The Hg22+ dumbbell exhibits a characteristic Hg‐Hg distance of 2.5079(7) Å. The different types of mercury‐oxygen units form a complex three‐dimensional network exhibiting large cavities which are occupied by the nitrate groups. The NO3? anions show only weak interactions between the nitrate oxygen atoms and the mercury atoms which are at distances > 2.6Å from one another. One of the three crystallographically independent nitrate groups is disordered.  相似文献

Interaction of copper(II) chloride with 2, 4, 6‐triallyloxy‐1, 3, 5‐triazine leads to formation of copper(II) complex [CuCl2·2C3N3(OC3H5)3] ( I ). Electrochemical reduction of I produces the mixed‐valence CuI, II π, σ‐complex of [Cu7Cl8·2C3N3(OC3H5)3] ( II ). Final reduction produces [Cu8Cl8·2C3N3(OC3H5)3]·2C2H5OH copper(I) π‐complex ( III ). Low‐temperature X‐ray structure investigation of all three compounds has been performed: I : space group P1¯, a = 8.9565(6), b = 9.0114(6), c = 9.7291(7) Å, α = 64.873(7), β = 80.661(6), γ = 89.131(6)°, V = 700.2(2) Å3, Z = 1, R = 0.0302 for 2893 reflections. II : space group P1¯, a = 11.698(2), b = 11.162(1), c = 8.106(1) Å, α = 93.635(9), β = 84.24(1), γ = 89.395(8)°, V = 962.0(5) Å3, Z = 1, R = 0.0465 for 6111 reflections. III : space group P1¯, a = 8.7853(9), b = 10.3602(9), c = 12.851(1) Å, α = 99.351(8), β = 105.516(9), γ = 89.395(8), V = 1111.4(4) Å3, Z = 1, R = 0.0454 for 4470 reflections. Structure of I contains isolated [CuCl2·2C3N3(OC3H5)3] units. The isolated fragment of I fulfils in the structure of II bridging function connecting two hexagonal prismatic‐like cores Cu6Cl6, whereas isolated Cu6Cl6(CuCl)2 prismatic derivative appears in III . Coordination behaviour of the 2, 4, 6‐triallyloxy‐1, 3, 5‐triazine moiety is different in all the compounds. In I ligand moiety binds to the only copper(II) atom through the nitrogen atom of the triazine ring. In II ligand is coordinated to the CuII‐atom through the N atom and to two CuI ones through the two allylic groups. In III all allylic groups and nitrogen atom are coordinated by four metal centers. The presence of three allyl arms promotes an acting in II and III structures the bridging function of the ligand moiety. On the other hand, space separation of allyl groups enables a formation of large complicated inorganic clusters.  相似文献

Melting reactions of Bi2S3, CuX (X = Cl, Br), copper, and sulfur resulted in black needles of qua‐ and quinternary copper bismuth sulfide halogenides. Cu3BiS2Br2 (I) has a melting point of 638(5) K and crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pnma with a = 804.50(6) pm, b = 393.27(3) pm, and c = 2253.2(2) pm at T = 293(2) K. Cu4Bi3S5Br3–xClx (x = 1.19(2)) (II) crystallizes in the monoclinic space group I2/m with lattice parameters a = 1573.7(2) pm, b = 397.52(3) pm, c = 2164.9(3) pm, and β = 95.66(1) °. Both compounds exhibit networks of thio‐halogenido‐bismuthate(III) polyhedra that join corners, edges, and faces. The copper(I) cations are spread over numerous contiguous trigonal or tetrahedral voids. In case of (II) a continuous pathway for copper ion transport along [010] is formed. The pseudo‐potential barrier for hopping of copper ions was calculated as 30 meV only.  相似文献

The reaction of octamethylenetetrathiafulvalene (OMTTF) with excess CuBr2 in tetrahydrofurane/acetonitrile yields black (OMTTF)2[Cu4Br10] ( 1 ). The crystal structure determination shows the presence of OMTTF cations and tetranuclear bromidocuprate anions. The novel anion consists of four edge and corner sharing CuBr4 tetrahedra, which are connected to a ring. The assignment of the ionic charges and oxidation states for the copper atoms is supported by the magnetic properties. 1 is antiferromagnetic with TN ≈ 30 K. The magnetic moment reaches 2.54 B.M., which indicates, together with the Curie–Weiss constant of –35 K, a coupling of the paramagnetic spins over the whole temperature region. The ionic charges of the salt‐like compound 1 are therefore (OMTTF2+)2[(Cu+)2(Cu2+)2Br10]4–. The antiferromagnetism is explained by the coupling of the spins of two Cu2+ ions in the anion with an exchange constant of J = –18 cm–1. The CuI and CuII atoms are clearly distinguishable in the mixed valent anion. The OMTTF cation is not planar but exhibits an interplanar angle between the two central C3S2 ring moieties of 15.3°, which is in accordance to the dicationic oxidation state.  相似文献

The crystalline isotypic solvates Rb4Sn4·2NH3, Cs4Sn4·2NH3, and Rb4Pb4·2NH3 have been synthesized using the direct reduction of elemental tin or tetraphenyltin, respectively, with heavier alkali metals or the dissolution of the binary phase RbPb in liquid ammonia. These compounds contain the cluster ions [Sn4]4– or [Pb4]4– respectively. This is the first time that[Tt4]4– ions (Tt = tetrels) are detected as result of a solution reaction. The accommodation of the ammonia molecules, which build up ion‐dipole interactions to alkali metal cations, requires some modifications of the crystal structures compared to the binary phases RbSn, CsSn, and RbPb. The tetrahedral [Tt4]4– anions have a slightly lower coordination by Rb+ or Cs+ cations and, furthermore, the intercluster distances show a remarkable increase.  相似文献

Yb3F4S2: A mixed‐valent Ytterbium Fluoride Sulfide according to YbF2 · 2 YbFS Attempts to synthesize ytterbium(III) fluoride sulfide (YbFS) from 2 : 3 : 1‐molar mixtures of ytterbium metal (Yb), elemental sulfur (S) and ytterbium trifluoride (YbF3) after seven days at 850 °C in silica‐jacketed gastight‐sealed arc‐welded tantalum capsules result in the formation of the mixed‐valent ytterbium(II,III) fluoride sulfide Yb3F4S2 (tetragonal, I4/mmm; a = 384,61(3), c = 1884,2(4) pm; Z = 2) instead. The almost single‐phase product becomes even single‐crystalline and emerges as black shiny platelets with square cross‐section when equimolar amounts of NaCl are present as fluxing agent. Its crystal structure can be described as a sheethed intergrowth arrangement of one layer of CaF2‐type YbF2 followed by two layers of PbFCl‐type YbFS parallel (001). Accordingly there are two chemically and crystallographically different ytterbium cations present. One of them (Yb2+) is surrounded by eight fluoride anions in a cubic fashion, the other one (Yb3+) exhibits a capped square‐antiprismatic coordination sphere consisting of four F and five S2– anions. In spite of being structurally very plausible, the obvious ordering of the differently charged ytterbium in terms of a localized mixed valency can only be fictive because of the black colour of Yb3F4S2 which rather suggests charge delocalization coupled with polaron activity.  相似文献

The reaction of CuCl with WOCl3 at 400 °C leads to a mixture of Cu1?x[W2O2Cl6] ( 1 ) and Cu1?x[W4O4Cl10] ( 2 ) in form of black lustrous needles. Both compounds crystallize in space group C2/m with a = 12.7832(5) Å, b = 3.7656(2) Å, c = 10.7362(3) Å, β = 119.169(2)° for 1 and a = 12.8367(19) Å, b = 3.7715(7) Å, c = 15.955(3) Å, β = 102.736(5)° for 2 . The structures are made up of WO2Cl4 octahedra. In the case of 1 two octahedra are edge‐sharing via chlorine atoms to form pairs which are linked via the trans‐positioned oxygen atoms to form infinite double strands . In the structure of 2 two of these double strands are condensed via terminal chlorine atoms to form quadruple strands . Like for all members of the Mx[W2O2X6] structure family (X = Cl, Br) nonstochiometry with respect to the cations M was observed. The copper content of 1 and 2 was derived from the site occupation factors of the respective structure refinements. For several crystals examined the copper content varied between x = 0.27 and 0.17 for 1 and x = 0.04 for 2 . In both structures the oxochlorotungstate strands are negatively charged and connected to layers by the monovalent copper ions, which are tetrahedrally coordinated by the non‐bridging chlorine atoms of the strands. The structure models imply disorder of the Cu+ ions over closely neighboured sites.  相似文献

A new chemical and structural interpretation of K5Ce2(SO4)6·H2O ( I ) and a redetermination of the structure of K2Ce(SO4)3·H2O ( II ) is presented. The mixed‐valent compound I crystallizes in the space group C2/c with a = 17.7321(3), b = 7.0599(1), c = 19.4628(4) Å, β = 112.373(1)° and Z = 4. Compound I has been discussed earlier with space group Cc. In the structure of I , there are pairs of edge sharing cerium polyhedra connected by sulfate oxygen atoms in the μ3 bonding mode. These cerium dimers are linked through edge and corner sharing sulfate bridges, forming layers. The layers are joined by potassium ions which together with the water molecules are placed between the layers. No irregularity in the distribution of the CeIII and CeIV to cause the lost of a crystallographic center of symmetry was detected. We suggest that the charge exerted by the extra f1 electron for every cerium dimer is delocalized over the Ce1–O2–Ce2 moiety in a non‐bonding mode. As a result, the oxidations state of each cerium ion is a mean value between III and IV at each atomic position. Compound II crystallizes in the space group C2 with a = 20.6149(2), b = 7.0742(1), c = 17.8570(1) Å, β = 122.720(1)° and Z = 8. The hydrogen atoms have been located and the absolute structure has been established. Neither hydrogen atom positions nor anisotropic displacement parameters were given in the previous reports. In compound II , the cerium polyhedra are connected by edge and corner sharing sulfate groups forming a three‐dimensional network. This network contains Z‐shaped channels hosting the charge compensating potassium ions.  相似文献

Brown crystals of [NMe4]4[(Se4Br10)2(Se2Br2)2] ( 1 ) were obtained from the reaction of selenium and bromine in acetonitrile in the presence of tetramethylammonium bromide. The crystal structure of 1 was determined by X‐ray diffraction and refined to R = 0.0297 for 8401 reflections. The crystals are monoclinic, space group P21/c with Z = 4 and a = 12.646(3) Å, b = 16.499(3) Å, c = 16.844(3) Å, β = 101.70(3)° (123 K). In the solid‐state structure, the anion of 1 is built up of two [Se4Br10]2– ions. Each shows a triangular arrangement of three planar SeBr4 units sharing a common edge through two μ3‐bridging bromine atoms, and one SeBr2 molecule, which is linked to the SeII atoms of two SeBr4 units; between the Se4Br102– ions a dimerized Se2Br2 molecule (Se4Br4) is situated and one SeI atom of each Se2Br2 molecule has two weak contacts [3.3514(14) Å and 3.3952(11) Å] to two bromine atoms of one SeBr4 unit. Four SeI atoms of a dimerized Se2Br2 molecule are in a almost regular planar tetraangular arrangement. Contacts between the SeII atom of the SeBr2 molecule and the SeII atoms of two SeBr4 units are 3.035(1) Å and 3.115(1) Å, and can be interpreted as donor‐acceptor type bonds with the SeII atoms of SeBr4 units as donors and the SeBr2 molecule as acceptor. The terminal SeII–Br and μ3‐Br–SeII bond lengths are in the ranges 2.3376(10) to 2.4384(8) Å and 2.8036(9) to 3.3183(13) Å, respectively. The bond lengths in the dimerized Se2Br2 molecule are: SeI–SeI = 2.2945(8) Å and 3.1398(12), SeI–Br = 2.3659(11) and 2.3689(10) Å.  相似文献

CuYS2: A Ternary Copper(I) Yttrium(III) Sulfide with Chains {[Cu(S1)3/3(S2)1/1]3–} of cis ‐Edge Connected [CuS4]7– Tetrahedra Pale yellow, lath‐shaped single crystals of the ternary copper(I) yttrium(III) sulfide CuYS2 are obtained by the oxidation of equimolar mixtures of the metals (copper and yttrium) with sulfur in the molar ratio 1 : 1 : 2 within fourteen days at 900 °C in evacuated silica ampoules, while the presence of CsCl as fluxing agent promotes their growth. The crystal structure of CuYS2 (orthorhombic, Pnma; a = 1345.3(1), b = 398.12(4), c = 629.08(6) pm, Z = 4) exhibits chains of cis‐edge linked [CuS4]7– tetrahedra with the composition {[Cu(S1)3/3(S2)1/1]3–} running along [010] which are hexagonally bundled as closest rod packing. Charge equalization and three‐dimensional interconnection of these anionic chains occur via octahedrally coordinated Y3+ cations. These are forming together with the S2– anions a network [Y(S1)3/3(S2)3/3] of vertex‐ and edge‐shared [YS6]9– octahedra with ramsdellite topology. The metall‐sulfur distances of the [CuS4]7– tetrahedra (230 (Cu–S2), 232 (Cu–S1), and 253 pm (Cu–S1′, 2 × )) cover a very broad interval, whilst these (Y–S: 267–280 pm) within the [YS6]9– octahedra range rather closely together.  相似文献

Addition of PR3 (R=Ph or OPh) to [Cu(η2‐Me6C6)2][PF6] results in the formation of [(η6‐Me6C6)Cu(PR3)][PF6], the first copper–arene complexes to feature an unsupported η6 arene interaction. A DFT analysis reveals that the preference for the η6 binding mode is enforced by the steric clash between the methyl groups of the arene ligand and the phenyl rings of the phosphine co‐ligand.  相似文献

The S‐functionalized aminosilane Me2Si(NH‐C6H4‐2‐SPh)2 (H2L) ( 1 ) was prepared from dichlorodimethylsilane and lithiated 2‐(phenylthio)aniline. Treatment of compound 1 with two equivalents of n‐butyllithium led to the dilithium derivative Li2L, which was used in subsequent reactions with MCl (M = Tl, Cu, Ag) to prepare the complexes [Tl2L] ( 2 ), [Cu2Tl2L2] · 2THF ( 3a ), [Cu2Tl2L2(THF)2] ( 3b ), and [Ag4L2(THT)2] ( 4 ) (THT = tetrahydrothiophene). Compound 2 consists of two thallium atoms, which are connected by a L2– ligand to give a puckered Tl2N2 ring with Tl–N distances of 255(1)–268(1) pm. Compounds 3a and 3b are heterobimetallic complexes, which are based on [Cu2L2]2– cores featuring a Cu2N4Si2 ring with linearly coordinated copper atoms [Cu–N: 190.7(3)–192.5(3) pm] and two peripherally attached Tl atoms [Tl–N: 272.7(3)–281.9(3) pm]. The molecular structure of the tetranuclear silver(I) complex 4 is closely related to the structure of compounds 3a and 3b by replacement of the Cu and Tl atoms with Ag atoms. The Ag–N distances are 217.5(3)–245.7(3) pm.  相似文献

The undecanuclear copper cluster Cu11(μ9‐Se)(μ3‐I)3[Se2P(OEt)2]6 1 , has been isolated along with Cu88‐Se)[Se2P(OEt)2]6 2 , from the reaction of NH4Se2P(OEt)2, Cu(CH3CN)4PF6, and Bu4NI in a molar ratio of 3:2:2 in diethyl ether. The molecular formulation of 1 was confirmed by elemental analysis, positive FAB mass spectrometry, multinuclear NMR (1H, 31P, and 77Se), and X‐ray diffraction. In cluster 1 eleven copper atoms adopt the geometry of a 3,3,4,4,4‐pentacapped trigonal prism with a selenium atom in the center. The coordination geometry for the central, nonacoordinated selenium atom is tricapped trigonal prismatic. In addition, the central core Cu11Se is further stabilized by three iodides and six dsep ligands. Besides, weak inter‐molecular Se···I interactions (3.949–3.972 Å) are uncovered and form a one dimensional polymeric chain.  相似文献

An ethanolic solution of CuCl / ethylendiamine reacts with 1.3‐bis‐ (phenyltriazene)benzene in THF leading to the deprotonation of the bis triazene ligand to give orange crystals of [CuII(en)3][CuI4{(NNN‐Ph)2C6H4}3], an example of a rare complex salt of copper with mixed valence states. In the anion complex [CuI4{(NNNPh)2C6H4}3]2? the copper(I) ions are disposed linearly as single, bridged pairs in the two extremes of an axis, each of them presenting a trigonal bipyramidal alike coordination arrangement.  相似文献

The compound [Cu42‐OH)23‐OH)2Cl2(bipy)4]Cl2 · 6H2O ( 1 ) was obtained by recrystallization of [Cu(HB)2(2, 2′‐bipy)] · H2O (H2B = diphenylglycolic acid) from EtOH/CH2Cl2 and their structure has been determined by single‐crystal X‐ray analysis. The cationic complex may be described as based on a Cu4(OH)4 core with a “stepped cubane” structure. The coordination polyhedron around each copper is a distorted square pyramid. The tetranuclear units are linked in the crystal by C‐H…Cl hydrogen bonds and by π‐π interactions between bipyridine rings. IR data are also presented.  相似文献

Blue crystals of a Cu(NO3)2 · H2O were synthesized by interaction of CuO with boiling 100% HNO3. Stable β-Cu(NO3)2 modification was obtained by the sublimation of copper(II) nitrate in evacuated ampoule over the 150→100°C temperature gradient for 24 hr. According to X-Ray single crystal analysis Cu(NO3)2 · H2O is monoclinic with a = 6.377(1), b = 8.548(1), c = 9.769(1) Å, β = 100.41(1)°, Z = 4, and space group P21/c. β-modification Cu(NO3)2 is orthorhombic with a = 14.161(5), b = 7.516(3), c = 12.886(2) Å, Z = 12, and space group Pbcn. In the both structures Cu atoms are square coordinated by 4 O atoms at the distances ranging from 1.92 to 2.02 Å. In each structure there are also additional Cu? O bonds with the distance of 2.33 or 2.35 Å and some weaker ones with the distances in the range of 2.65–2.72 Å. In the Cu(NO3)2 · H2O structure the [CuO4] squares are connected by the bridging NO3 groups into zigzag chains, which are linked into layers by the longer Cu? O bonds. In the β-Cu(NO3)2 structure the [CuO4] fragments of two types are joined by the bridging NO3 groups in a three-dimensional framework. Some correlations were found between N? O distances and coordination functions of O atoms.  相似文献

Treatment of copper(I) halides CuX (X = Cl, Br, I) with lithium 2‐(diphenylphosphanyl)anilide [Li(HL)] in THF led to the formation of hexanuclear copper(I) complexes [Cu6X2(HL)4] [X = Cl ( 1 ), Br ( 2 ), I ( 3 )]. In compounds 1 – 3 , the copper atoms are in a distorted octahedral arrangement and the amide ligands adopt a μ3‐κP,κ2N bridging mode. Additionally there are two μ2‐bridging halide ligands. Each of the [Cu6X2(HL)4] clusters comprises two copper atoms, which are surrounded by two amide nitrogen atoms in an almost linear coordination [Cu–N: 186.2(3)–188.0(3) pm] and four copper atoms, which are connected to an amide N atom, a P atom, and a halogen atom in a distorted trigonal planar fashion [Cu–N: 199.6(3)–202.3(3) pm)].  相似文献

The blue copper complex compounds [Cu(phen)2(C6H8O4)] · 4.5 H2O ( 1 ) and [(Cu2(phen)2Cl2)(C6H8O4)] · 4 H2O ( 2 ) were synthesized from CuCl2, 1,10‐phenanthroline (phen) and adipic acid in CH3OH/H2O solutions. [Cu(phen)2‐ (C6H8O4)] complexes and hydrogen bonded H2O molecules form the crystal structure of ( 1 ) (P1 (no. 2), a = 10.086(2) Å, b = 11.470(2) Å, c = 16.523(3) Å, α = 99.80(1)°, β = 115.13(1)°, γ = 115.13(1)°, V = 1617.5(5) Å3, Z = 2). The Cu atoms are square‐pyramidally coordinated by four N atoms of the phen ligands and one O atom of the adipate anion (d(Cu–O) = 1.989 Å, d(Cu–N) = 2.032–2.040 Å, axial d(Cu–N) = 2.235 Å). π‐π stacking interactions between phen ligands are responsible for the formation of supramolecular assemblies of [Cu(phen)2(C6H8O4)] complex molecules into 1 D chains along [111]. The crystal structure of ( 2 ) shows polymeric [(Cu2(phen)2Cl2)(C6H8O4)2/2] chains (P1 (no. 2), a = 7.013(1) Å, b = 10.376(1) Å, c = 11.372(3) Å, α = 73.64(1)°, β = 78.15(2)°, γ = 81.44(1)°, V = 773.5(2) Å3, Z = 1). The Cu atoms are fivefold coordinated by two Cl atoms, two N atoms of phen ligands and one O atom of the adipate anion, forming [CuCl2N2O] square pyramids with an axial Cl atom (d(Cu–O) = 1.958 Å, d(Cu–N) = 2.017–2.033 Å, d(Cu–Cl) = 2.281 Å; axial d(Cu–Cl) = 2.724 Å). Two square pyramids are condensed via the common Cl–Cl edge to centrosymmetric [Cu2Cl2N4O2] dimers, which are connected via the adipate anions to form the [(Cu2(phen)2Cl2)(C6H8O4)2/2] chains. The supramolecular 3 D network results from π‐π stacking interactions between the chains. H2O molecules are located in tunnels.  相似文献
