Let m and n be integers at least two and R be a nonzero natural number. In this paper, we study the problem of the determination of the proper solutions of the Diophantine equation x m y m equals; Rz n . We raise a question concerning the existence of any proper nontrivial solution of this equation, in case some precise conditions are satisfied by the triple (m, n, R). We show that in two dimensions or higher, the Mordukhovich-Ioffe approximate subdifferential and Clarke subdifferential may differ almost everywhere for real-valued Lipschitz functions. Uncountably many Fréchet differentiable vector-valued Lipschitz functions differing by more than constants can share the same Mordukhovich-Ioffe coderivatives. Moreover, the approximate Jacobian associated with the Mordukhovich-Ioffe coderivative can be nonconvex almost everywhere for Fréchet differentiable vector-valued Lipschitz functions. Finally we show that for vector-valued Lipschitz functions the approximate Jacobian associated with the Mordukhovich-Ioffe coderivative can be almost everywhere disconnected.Research supported by NSERC and the Shrum Endowment at Simon Fraser University.  相似文献

We define the notion of admissible pair for an algebra A, consisting on a couple (Γ, R), where Γ is a quiver and R a unital, splitted and factorizable representation of Γ, and prove that the set of admissible pairs for A is in one to one correspondence with the points of the variety of twisting maps TAn:=T(Kn,A)\mathcal{T}_A^n:=\mathcal{T}(K^n,A). By means of a new technique of integral representations in C n given by the authors, we establish a new abstract formula with a vector function W for smooth functions on bounded domains in C n , which is different from the well-known Leray formula. This new formula eliminates the term that contains the parameter A from the classical Leray formula, and especially on some domains the uniform estimates for the are very simple. From the new Leray formula, we can obtain correspondingly many new formulas for smooth functions on many domains in C n , which are different from the classical ones, when we properly select the vector function W.  相似文献

In this paper, we obtain the general permutation formulas and composition formulas of singular integral of the Bochner-Martinelli type on a closed piecewiseC (1) smooth manifold. As an application, we consider the corresponding singular integral equation of linear variable coefficients, and prove that the singular integral equation can be transformed to an equivalent Fredholm equation, whose characteristic equation has a unique solution in , here denotes the function set which satisfies the Hölder condition on D and holomorphically expands to domainD.Corresponding author. This paper considers the problem for testing symmetry of a distribution inR m based on the empirical distribution function. Limit theorems which play important roles for investigating asymptotic behavior of such tests are obtained. The limit processes of the theorems are multiparameter Wiener process. Based on the limit theorems, nonparametric tests are proposed whose asymptotic distributions are functionals of a multiparameter standard Wiener process. The tests are compared asymptotically with each other in the sense of Bahadur.  相似文献

The aim of this paper is to prove that if a planar set A has a difference set Δ(A) satisfying Δ(A) ? ?+ + s for suitable s then A has at most 3 elements. This result is motivated by the conjecture that the disk has no more than 3 orthogonal exponentials. Further, we prove that if A is a set of exponentials mutually orthogonal with respect to any symmetric convex set K in the plane with a smooth boundary and everywhere non-vanishing curvature, then #(A ∩ [?q, q]2) ≦ C(K) q where C(K) is a constant depending only on K. This extends and clarifies in the plane the result of Iosevich and Rudnev. As a corollary, we obtain the result from [8] and [9] that if K is a centrally symmetric convex body with a smooth boundary and non-vanishing curvature, then L 2(K) does not possess an orthogonal basis of exponentials.  相似文献

We extend the notion of a strong Ditkin set in the dual group for the \({L^1}\)-algebra of a locally compact abelian group as well as a large number of results for such sets to the setting of a general regular and semisimple commutative Banach algebra and its spectrum. In particular, we study various stability and inheritance properties. Moreover, we present some applications to Fourier algebras of locally compact groups and an example of a compact, infinite double coset hypergroup for which every closed subset is a strong Ditkin set for its Fourier algebra.  相似文献

In this paper, we first optimize the structure of the Wei–Xiao–Chen algorithm for the linear complexity of sequences over GF(q) with period N =  2p n , where p and q are odd primes, and q is a primitive root modulo p 2. The second, an union cost is proposed, so that an efficient algorithm for computing the k-error linear complexity of a sequence with period 2p n over GF(q) is derived, where p and q are odd primes, and q is a primitive root modulo p 2. The third, we give a validity of the proposed algorithm, and also prove that there exists an error sequence e N , where the Hamming weight of e N is not greater than k, such that the linear complexity of (s + e) N reaches the k-error linear complexity c. We also present a numerical example to illustrate the algorithm. Finally, we present the minimum value k for which the k-error linear complexity is strictly less than the linear complexity.  相似文献
