The hadronic decays ,and ωf2(1270) have been studied in a sample of 1.27 million produced.Measurements of their branching fractions are presented. While obeys the "14% rule" predicted by theory, →ωf2 (1270) is suppressed comparing with the corresponding decay. As a vector-tensor pair combination, the ωf2 mode is the first example of a non-vector-pseudoscalar decay of charmonium which violates the above mentioned rule.  相似文献

Based on the branching ratios of ψ(2S)→VP given by the BES collaboration, we make a new analysis to study the mixing of pseudoscalars. The mixing angle of η and ηp, θp is determined to be (-7.54±1.52)° which is consistent with the value obtained from quadratic Gell-Mann-Okubo formula. From this work we also know that the strength of DOZI to SOZI is about 14% in ψ(2S)→VP, and the phase angle of electromagnetic amplitude to strong amplitude is (156±89)°.  相似文献

From a study of(2S)decays into vector-pseudoscalar final states,ρπ and KK*,based on a sample of 1.27×106 produced (2S) events,we have set upper limits at 90% confidence level on the branching fractions into ρπof 3.6×10-5, into K+K*+c.c.of 2.5×10-5,and into K0K*0+c.c.of 1.2×10-4.We find that all these decays are substantially suppressed relative to the corresponding J/ψ decays in comparison with PQCD predictions.Our results confirm the MARK Ⅱ measurements at an improved sensitivity level.  相似文献

A data quality monitoring system for fast reconstructed event is depicted in detail for ψ(2S)data taking during 2001-2002 years' running at Beijing Spectrometer(BES Ⅱ) . In parallel with fast reconstruction of raw data, the performance and stability of BES Ⅱ subdetector can be inspected from various intuitive distributions of fast reconstructed and selected events. The system,with operation simplicity,function completeness and extension flexibility,has played and will play an important role in the quality monitoring of BES data taking.  相似文献

The newly observed D*sJ family containing D*sJ(2317), DsJ(2460), and DsJ(2632) attracts great interests.Determining their structures may be an important task for both theorists and experimentalists. In this work we use a non-relativistic model (the harmonic oscillator model) to evaluate the production rate of D*sJ (2317) from the decays of ψ(4415). For a comparison, we also employ the widely adopted heavy quark effective theory to repeat the calculation.We find that the rate is sizable and may be observed at BES Ⅲ and CLEO, if it is a p-wave excited state of Ds (1968).Unfortunately, the other two members of the family cannot be observed through decays of charmonia, because of the constraints from the final state phase space.  相似文献

A method for measuring the integrated luminosity of the e+ e colliding experiment by using the wide-angle Bhabha events at the center of mass energy of the ψ(2S) resonance is presented. The determination of the integrated luminosity for the ψ(2S) data collected by the BES detector at the BEPC collider shows the feasibility of the method.  相似文献

Based on the branching fractions of J/ψ(ψ(2S))→ VP from different collaborations, pseudoscalar mixing is extensively discussed with a well established phenomenological model. The mixing angle is determined to be -14° by fitting to the new world average if only quark content is considered. After taking into account the gluonic content in η and η' simultaneously, the investigation shows that η favors only consisting of light quarks, while the gluonic content of η' is Z2η', = 0.30±0.24.  相似文献

A method to look for CP violation in the neutralB-meson system using asymmetrically time-integrated decay rates is discussed. With this method, observation of CP violation may be posible at ψ(4S), where the CP asymmetry vanishes with the usual symmetric time-integrated rate. A rate estimate is made based on the standard model prediction taking the lates observation of \(B^0 - \overline {B^0 } \) oscillations into account. We confirm the previous prediction that CP violation can be large in theB-meson system.  相似文献

We study whether the broad enhancement X(1576) arises from the final state interaction (FSI) of p(1450, 1700)→p^+ p^- →K^+ K^-decay,Both the absorptive and dispersive contributions of the above amplitudes are considered since the intermediate states are very close to p(1450, 1700). AThe same mechanism leads to a similar enhancement around 1580 MeV in the π^+ π^- specturm in the J/ψ →π^0 π^+ π^- channel, which can be used to test whether X(1576) can be ascribed to the FSI effect ofp(1450, 1700) → p^+ p^-.  相似文献

Some authors consider the ψ(4415) to be the 4S or 5S excited tate of a cc pair. Starting from this assumption, we study he decays of the ψ(4415) to DD, D*D*, DSDS, DS*DS*, and get the corresponding branching ratios in terms of the Quark-Pair-Creation (QPC) model. Compared with the experimental data, we find that the results of 4S state agree much better than those of the 5S state. Therefore, it is more reasonable to assume the ψ(4415) to be a 4S state.  相似文献

The continuum one-photon annihilation at ψ(2S) in e+e experiment is studied. Such contributions to the measured final states ωπ0 and π+π at ψ(2S) mass are estimated by phenomenological models. It is found that these contributions must be taken into account in the determination of branching ratios of ψ(2S)→ωπ0 and ψ(2S)→π+π, as well as other electromagnetic decay modes. The study reaches the conclusion that in order to obtain the correct branching ratios on these decay modes at BES, at least 10pb-1of data below the ψ(2S) peak is needed.  相似文献

The decay ψ(2S)→Ω-Ω+ is analyzed using 14×106 ψ(2S) events recorded by the Beijing Spectrometer Ⅱ (BESⅡ) at the Beijing Electron Positron Collider (BEPC). Based upon events with no missing charged tracks and a satisfactory four-constraint kinematic t, we determine the upper limit for the branching fraction of ψ(2S)→Ω-Ω+ to be 1.5×104 at a 90% confidence level. By including events with one missing charged track, we are able to report the first evidence of an Ω+ signal with a statistical signi cance of 3.1|σ. The branching fraction of ψ(2S)Ω+ is determined to be (4.80±1.56(stat)±1.30(sys))105.  相似文献

The numbers of ψ(3686) events accumulated by the BESⅢ detector for the data taken during 2009 and2012 are determined to be(107.0±0.8)×10~6 and(341.1±2.1)×10~6, respectively, by counting inclusive hadronic events,where the uncertainties are systematic and the statistical uncertainties are negligible. The number of events for the sample taken in 2009 is consistent with that of the previous measurement. The total number of ψ(3686) events for the two data taking periods is(448.1±2.9)×10~6.  相似文献
