In the context of the left-right twin Higgs (LRTH) model, we fist study single production of the standard model (SM) top quark via e-γ collisions. We find that the corrections of the LRTH model to the cross section of the process e-γ→νebt might be observed only for f≤750 GeV and the heavy top quark mass scale M≥500 GeV in future high energy linear e+e- collider (LC) experiment with the center-of-mass (CM) energy s½=500 GeV and a yearly integrated luminosity of £=100 fb-1. We also consider single production of the heavy top quark T via e-γ collisions. Our numerical results show that the possible signals of the heavy top quark T might be observed via the decay channel T→φ+b→tbb in future LC experiment with s½=3 TeV and £=500 fb-1.  相似文献

The top-charm associated production with the effects from both B-and L-violating interactions in TeV scale photon-proton collisions is investigated in the framework of Rp minimal supersymmetric standard model.Within the bounds on the relevant R-parity violating couplings,the total cross section will reach the order or 10 fb in some parts of the parameter space.  相似文献

The CP-violating effects in the W pair production via photon-photon collisions are investigated in the fram'e of the THDM-111 with complex neutral current couplings. The numerical calculations manifest the resonance effect and the counteractive behaviour in CP asymmetries between the two CP-violating contributing parts from the h0 and H0 exchanging s-channel diagrams. We conclude that if the masses of the two neutral Higgs bosons H0 and h0 are quantitatively largely separated and the colliding energy of photons √s is close to the mass of h0 or H0, the CP-violating effect is possibly to be observed in this process.  相似文献

The production of jets in low Q2 ep scattering (photoproduction) and in low Q2 ey+ey scattering (γγ scattering) allows for testing perturbative QCD and for measuring the proton and photon structure functions. This requires exact theoretical predictions for one- and two-jet cross sections. We describe the theoretical formalism, giving sufficient details, for calculating the direct and resolved processes in γp and γγ reactions in next-to-leading order QCD. We present the complete analytical results for the Born terms, the virtual, and the real corrections. To separate singular and regular regions of phase space we use the phase space slicing method with an invariant mass cut-off. In this way, all soft and collinear singularities are either canceled or absorbed into the structure functions. Using a flexible Monte Carlo program, we evaluate the cross sections numerically and perform various tests and comparisons with other calculations. We consider the scale dependence of our results and compare them to data from the experiments H1 and ZEUS at HERA and OPAL at LEP.  相似文献

In the framework of the NRQCD factorization formalism,we calculate the decay rate for the process Υ(1 S) → ccgg to the next-to-leading order(NLO) in the relative velocity v of the b quark in the bottomonium rest frame.We also study the momentum distributions of the charm quark and the charmed-hadron in the decay.The momentum distribution of the charmed-hadron is obtained by convolving the charm quark momentum distribution with a fragmentation function of the charm quark into the hadron.In addition,we fit the nonperturbative NRQCD matrix element v 2 Υ through comparing the theoretical prediction with the measurement from the BaBar collaboration for the decay rate of Υ(1 S) → D + X.In return,taking this matrix element as an input parameter,we predict the decay rates as well as the momentum distributions for a collection of charmed-hadrons in the process Υ(1S) → ccgg → hX.  相似文献

Using a Hamiltonian approach and the adiabatic approximation, the low-lying spectrum of the lattice O (N) model in the broken phase is analyzed to the next to leading order. We study the production of Ξ?-hypernuclei, ${^{12}{_{\Xi^-}}}$ Be and ${^{28}{_{\Xi^-}}}$ Mg, via the (K ?, K +) reaction within a covariant effective Lagrangian model, employing the bound Ξ? and proton spinors calculated by the latest quark-meson coupling model. The present treatment yields the 0° differential cross sections for the formation of simple s-state Ξ? particle-hole states peak at a beam momentum around 1.0 GeV/c with a value in excess of 1 μb.  相似文献

In the framework of factorization, we study direct CP violation in the decays of B(s)→J/ψP(V) (P(V) refer to the pseudoscalar (vector) meson). The CP violation depends strongly on Cabibbo-Kobayashi- Maskawa (CKM) matrix elements and the effective parameter, Nc. The recent experimental data for the branching ratios of B(s)→J/ψP(V) are accurate enough and we can give a strong constraint on the range of Nc. We nd that the CP violating asymmetry is consistent with the available experiment values for the b→d transition, and a little smaller than the b→s transition. We also predict the CP violation of other decay channels for B(s)→J/ψP(V). We expect our results can give valuable guidance for experiments.  相似文献

We have searched for CP violation in the decays D(0)→K(S)(0)P(0) where P(0) denotes a neutral pseudoscalar meson that is either a π(0), η, or η' using KEKB asymmetric-energy e(+)e(-) collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 791 fb(-1) collected with the Belle detector. No evidence of significant CP violation is observed. We report the most precise CP asymmetry measurement in the decay D(0)→K(S)(0)π(0) to date: A(CP)(D(0)→K(S)(0)π(0))=(-0.28±0.19±0.10)%. We also report the first measurements of CP asymmetries in the decays D(0)→K(S)(0)η and D(0)→K(S)(0)η': A(CP)(D(0)→K(S)(0)η)=(+0.54±0.51±0.16)% and A(CP)(D(0)→K(S)(0)η')=(+0.98±0.67±0.14)%, respectively.  相似文献

The production of Λ-hypernuclei in the A(p,K )ΛB reaction is investigated in the framework of the distorted wave impulse approximation(DWIA). The total cross sections and differential cross sections for various nuclear targets are calculated with an elementary process pN→NKΛ where the additional contributions from the N*(1535) resonance and the final state interaction between p and Λ are included. The dependence of the production cross sections of Λ-hypernuclei on the phenomenological nuclear density and the nucleon number in the target, as well as the distortion effect of the incident proton and outgoing kaon, are also explored. It is shown that the distortion effect tends to decrease the cross sections by a factor of about 3—10. The production cross sections are sensitive to the adopted nuclear density.  相似文献

The newly observed D*sJ family containing D*sJ(2317), DsJ(2460), and DsJ(2632) attracts great interests.Determining their structures may be an important task for both theorists and experimentalists. In this work we use a non-relativistic model (the harmonic oscillator model) to evaluate the production rate of D*sJ (2317) from the decays of ψ(4415). For a comparison, we also employ the widely adopted heavy quark effective theory to repeat the calculation.We find that the rate is sizable and may be observed at BES Ⅲ and CLEO, if it is a p-wave excited state of Ds (1968).Unfortunately, the other two members of the family cannot be observed through decays of charmonia, because of the constraints from the final state phase space.  相似文献

A diode-pumped Yb3+:YAl3(BO3)3 (Yb:YAB) laser system was demonstrated with continuous wave (CW) and pulsed output. The polarized CW outputs and femtosecond mode-locked lasers with semiconductor saturable-absorber mirrors (SESAM) at the fundamental wavelength were measured. For the CW output, polarization ratios were 88.1% (for e-ray) and 87.2% (for o-ray). For the mode-locked system, polarization ratio reached 38.5%, and the repetition frequency was 117.6 MHz.  相似文献
