The reductions of a series of beta-hydroxyketones by SmI(2) were examined in THF, DME, and CH(3)CN using methanol as a proton source. Reductions in THF and DME typically lead to the syn diastereomer with DME providing higher diastereoselectivities. Reductions in CH(3)CN provided the anti diastereomer predominantly. The SmI(2)-mediated reductions of ketones, imines, and alpha,beta-unsaturated esters have been shown to be instantaneous in the presence of H(2)O and an amine in THF. The SmI(2)-mediated reductions are not only shown to be fast and quantitative by the addition of H(2)O and an amine, but the workup procedures are also simplified. Competing experiments with SmI(2)/H(2)O/amine confirmed that alpha,beta-unsaturated esters could be selectively reduced in the presence of ketones or imines. Comparison of analogue ligands showed that nitrogen and phosphorus ligands are superior to oxygen and sulfur ligands in these reductions. The trialkylphosphine 1,2-bis(dimethylphosphino)ethane (DMPE) provided a primary kinetic isotope effect, yielding a k(H)/k(D) of 4.5.  相似文献

Mixtures of SmI(2)/H(2)O/amine have been found to reduce alkyl halides more efficiently than SmI(2)/HMPA/alcohol mixtures at room temperature. Alkyl and aryl iodides were quantitatively reduced in <1 min and alkyl bromides in 10 min, while alkyl and aryl chlorides required more than 5 h for completion. Determination of the reaction order of Et(3)N in the reduction of 1-chlorodecane showed that the reaction order is one. Water was shown not to participate in the rate-determining step of this reduction. There was a significant change of the UV-vis spectrum and color of SmI(2) upon addition of either PMDTA or water, while no effect was observed with the addition of Et(3)N or TMEDA. Although the combination of SmI(2), water, and amines produces a very efficient reducing system, cyclic voltammetric experiments showed that the redox potential is nearly identical with that of SmI(2) alone. These results are consistent with precipitation providing the driving force for reduction. Taken together, the results of these experiments show that the combination of SmI(2)/H(2)O/amine provides a fundamentally novel and useful approach to enhance the reactivity of SmI(2).  相似文献

The mixture of samarium diiodide, amine, and water (SmI2/H2O/Et3N) is known to be a particularly powerful reductant, but until now the limiting reducing power has not been determined. A series of unsaturated hydrocarbons with varying half-wave reduction potentials (E(1/2) = -1.6 to -3.4 V, vs SCE) have been treated with SmI2/H2O/Et3N and YbI2/H2O/Et3N, respectively. All hydrocarbons with potentials of -2.8 V or more positive were readily reduced with SmI2/H2O/Et3N, whereas all hydrocarbons with potentials of -2.3 V or more positive were readily reduced using YbI2/H2O/Et3N. This defines limiting values of the chemical reducing power of SmI2/H2O/Et3N to -2.8 V and of YbI2/H2O/Et3N to -2.3 V vs SCE.  相似文献

 添加H2对Ag/Al2O3和Cu/Al2O3催化剂选择性催化C3H6还原NOx反应具有不同的影响. 原位漫反射红外光谱分析表明,在Ag/Al2O3催化剂上, H2的存在促进了C3H6部分氧化产物烯醇式物种(RCH=CH-O-)和乙酸盐等的形成,烯醇式物种和硝酸盐为主要反应中间体,二者间的相互反应性能很强,能形成高浓度的反应关键中间体异氰酸酯(-NCO)表面吸附物种,因此NOx的去除活性提高; 而在Cu/Al2O3催化剂上, H2的存在并没有促进C3H6部分氧化产物的形成,而且抑制了硝酸盐的形成,进而抑制了C3H6部分氧化产物与硝酸盐反应形成表面-NCO 物种,导致NOx的去除活性降低.  相似文献

The title compound, tetrakis(tetraethylammonium) cyclo‐tetra‐μ‐oxo‐tetrakis[dioxovanadium(V)] dihydrate, (C8H20N)4[V4O12]·2H2O, was obtained by reacting V2O5 with (C2H5)4NOH. It consists of a discrete centrosymmetric molecular anion, [V4O12]4?, where four tetrahedral VO4 units share two vertices with each other to form a ring. N2O decay has been monitored via infrared emission for a series of mixtures containing N2O/Ar and N2O/H2/Ar. These mixtures were studied behind reflected shock waves in the temperature interval of 1950–3075°K with total concentrations ranging from 1.2 to 2.5 × 1018 molec/cm3. In all cases the N2O decayed exponentially, and a rate constant kobs was obtained. Runs without added H2 could be described by the following Arrhenius parameters: log A = ?9.72 ± 0.08 (in units of cm3/molec · sec) and EA = 203.5 ± 3.6 kJ/mole. Addition of 0.01% and 0.1% H2 was observed to increase the decay rate; the largest increase occurred between 2250 and 2500°K with 0.1% H2, where kobs doubled. Mixtures with no added H2 were analyzed by numerical integration of the following reactions: Quantitative agreement between calculations and observations were obtained with both high and low choices for k2 and k3. The additional reactions were included in the analysis of the mixtures containing H2. Here agreement was obtained only when low values were assigned to k2 and k3. The combinations of k1k3 which agreed with all the data were k1 = 3.25 × 10?10 exp (?215 kJ/RT) and k2 = k3 = 1.91 × 10?11 exp (-105 kJ/RT).  相似文献

Metastable N2(A3Σu+), υ = 0, υ = 1, molecules are produced by a pulsed Tesla-type discharge of a dilute N2/Ar gas mixture. Rate coefficients for quenching these metastable levels by O2, O, N, and H were obtained by time-resolved emission measurements of the (0, 6) and (1, 5) Vegard–Kaplan bands. In units of cm3/mole · sec at 300°K and with an experimental uncertainty of ±20%, these rate coefficients for N2(A3Σu+) are Within the limits of error these coefficients apply to quenching N2(A3Σu+) υ′ = 1 as well.  相似文献

The title octahedral complexes, [bis(pyridine‐2‐carbonyl)­amin­ate]­di­chloro­(methanol)­iron(III), [Fe(C12H8N3O2)­Cl2‐(CH4O)], and [bis­(pyri­dine‐2‐carbonyl)­amin­ate]­di­chloro‐(ethanol)­iron(III), [Fe­(C12H8N3O2)Cl2(C2H6O)], both crystallize in space group and have similar structures. Mono­anionic bpca? [bis(pyridine‐2‐carbonyl)­amin­ate] acts as a planar tridentate ligand in both cases. Coordination bond distances are in the range typical of high‐spin FeIII complexes. Carbon–oxygen distances are typical of a C=O double bond suggesting the negative charge of the bpca? ligand is localized on the central N atom.  相似文献

采用长光路Fourier红外光谱(LP-FTIR)和高压液相色谱(HPLC)技术研究了乙烷/H2O/O2/N2光化学体系中过氧化物的产生,证实乙烷降解产物中有过氧化氢、乙基过氧化氢(CH3CH2OOH,EHP)和过氧乙酸[CH3C(O)OOH,PAA],并首次发现了甲基过氧化氢(CH3OOH,MHP)、羟甲基过氧化氢(HOCH2OOH,HMHP)和过氧甲醚(CH3OOCH3,DMP).H2O2,MHP和EHP的最大计算产率分别为6.8%,6.4%和6.7%,是乙烷降解生成的主要过氧化产物。MHP主要来自乙烷降解过程中的中间物乙醛的光解。HMHP的检出表明乙烷降解过程中可能有Criegee中间体.CH2OO.产生。OH自由基引发的乙烷降解反应可能是对流层大气H2O2,MHP及EHP的重要来源之一。  相似文献
