Given a smooth domain ${\Omega\subset\mathbb{R}^N}$ such that ${0 \in \partial\Omega}$ and given a nonnegative smooth function ?? on ???, we study the behavior near 0 of positive solutions of ???u?=?u q in ?? such that u =? ?? on ???\{0}. We prove that if ${\frac{N+1}{N-1} < q < \frac{N+2}{N-2}}$ , then ${u(x)\leq C |x|^{-\frac{2}{q-1}}}$ and we compute the limit of ${|x|^{\frac{2}{q-1}} u(x)}$ as x ?? 0. We also investigate the case ${q= \frac{N+1}{N-1}}$ . The proofs rely on the existence and uniqueness of solutions of related equations on spherical domains.  相似文献

We prove that any positive solution of ${\partial_tu-\Delta u+u^q=0 (q > 1)}$ in ${\mathbb{R}^N \times (0, \infty)}$ with initial trace (F, 0), where F is a closed subset of ${\mathbb{R}^{N}}$ can be represented, up to two universal multiplicative constants, by a series involving the Bessel capacity ${C_{2/q, q^{\prime}}}$ . As a consequence we prove that there exists a unique positive solution of the equation with such an initial trace. We also characterize the blow-up set of u(x, t) when ${t \downarrow 0}$ , by using the “density” of F expressed in terms of the ${C_{2/q, q^{\prime}}}$ -Bessel capacity.  相似文献

We consider the Dirichlet problem for biharmonic maps u from a bounded, smooth domain ${\Omega\subset\mathbb R^n (n\ge 5)}$ to a compact, smooth Riemannian manifold ${N\subset{\mathbb {R}}^l}$ without boundary. For any smooth boundary data, we show that if u is a stationary biharmonic map that satisfies a certain boundary monotonicity inequality, then there exists a closed subset ${\Sigma\subset\overline{\Omega}}$ , with ${H^{n-4}(\Sigma)=0}$ , such that ${\displaystyle u\in C^\infty(\overline\Omega\setminus\Sigma, N)}$ .  相似文献

Consider the stochastic heat equation ${\partial_t u = (\varkappa/2)\Delta u+\sigma(u)\dot{F}}$ , where the solution u := u t (x) is indexed by ${(t, x) \in (0, \infty) \times {\bf R}^d}$ , and ${\dot{F}}$ is a centered Gaussian noise that is white in time and has spatially-correlated coordinates. We analyze the large- ${\|x\|}$ fixed-t behavior of the solution u in different regimes, thereby study the effect of noise on the solution in various cases. Among other things, we show that if the spatial correlation function f of the noise is of Riesz type, that is ${f(x)\propto \|x\|^{-\alpha}}$ , then the “fluctuation exponents” of the solution are ${\psi}$ for the spatial variable and ${2\psi-1}$ for the time variable, where ${\psi:=2/(4-\alpha)}$ . Moreover, these exponent relations hold as long as ${\alpha \in (0, d \wedge 2)}$ ; that is precisely when Dalang’s theory [Dalang, Electron J Probab 4:(Paper no. 6):29, 1999] implies the existence of a solution to our stochastic PDE. These findings bolster earlier physical predictions [Kardar et al., Phys Rev Lett 58(20):889–892, 1985; Kardar and Zhang, Phys Rev Lett 58(20):2087–2090, 1987].  相似文献

Given a Lipschitz domain Ω in ${{\mathbb R}^N}$ and a nonnegative potential V in Ω such that V(xd(x, ?Ω)2 is bounded we study the fine regularity of boundary points with respect to the Schrödinger operator L V := Δ ? V in Ω. Using potential theoretic methods, several conditions are shown to be equivalent to the fine regularity of ${z \in \partial \Omega}$ . The main result is a simple (explicit if Ω is smooth) necessary and sufficient condition involving the size of V for ${z \in \partial \Omega}$ to be finely regular. An intermediate result consists in a majorization of ${\int_A \vert{\frac{ u} {d(.,\partial \Omega)}}\vert^2\, dx}$ for u positive harmonic in Ω and ${A \subset \Omega}$ . Conditions for almost everywhere regularity in a subset A of ?Ω are also given as well as an extension of the main results to a notion of fine ${\mathcal{ L}_1 \vert \mathcal{L}_0}$ -regularity, if ${\mathcal{L}_j = \mathcal{L} - V_j, V_0,\, V_1}$ being two potentials, with V 0 ≤ V 1 and ${\mathcal{L}}$ a second order elliptic operator.  相似文献

A subgroup property $\alpha $ is transitive in a group $G$ if $U \alpha V$ and $V \alpha G$ imply that $U \alpha G$ whenever $U \le V \le G$ , and $\alpha $ is persistent in $G$ if $U \alpha G$ implies that $U \alpha V$ whenever $U \le V \le G$ . Even though a subgroup property $\alpha $ may be neither transitive nor persistent, a given subgroup $U$ may have the property that each $\alpha $ -subgroup of $U$ is an $\alpha $ -subgroup of $G$ , or that each $\alpha $ -subgroup of $G$ in $U$ is an $\alpha $ -subgroup of $U$ . We call these subgroup properties $\alpha $ -transitivity and $\alpha $ -persistence, respectively. We introduce and develop the notions of $\alpha $ -transitivity and $\alpha $ -persistence, and we establish how the former property is related to $\alpha $ -sensitivity. In order to demonstrate how these concepts can be used, we apply the results to the cases in which $\alpha $ is replaced with “normal” and the “cover-avoidance property.” We also suggest ways in which the theory can be developed further.  相似文献

Let $(M,g)$ be a complete Riemannian manifold which satisfies a Sobolev inequality of dimension $n$ , and on which the volume growth is comparable to the one of ${\mathbb{R }}^n$ for big balls; if there is no non-zero $L^2$ harmonic 1-form, and the Ricci tensor is in $L^{\frac{n}{2}-\varepsilon }\cap L^\infty $ for an $\varepsilon >0$ , then we prove a Gaussian estimate on the heat kernel of the Hodge Laplacian acting on 1-forms. This allows us to prove that, under the same hypotheses, the Riesz transform $d\varDelta ^{-1/2}$ is bounded on $L^p$ for all $1<p<\infty $ . Then, in presence of non-zero $L^2$ harmonic 1-forms, we prove that the Riesz transform is still bounded on $L^p$ for all $1<p<n$ , when $n>3$ .  相似文献

We study ${W^{2,m(\cdot)}_{loc}}$ regularity for local weak solutions of p(·)-Laplace equations where ${p\in C^1(\Omega) \cap C(\overline{\Omega})}$ and ${\min_{x\in \overline{\Omega}} p(x) > 1}$ .  相似文献

Any weak solution u to the Navier-Stokes equations is showed to be regular under the assumption that ||u|| L 2w (0,T ;L ∞ ( R 3 )) is sufficiently small, which is a limiting case of the regularity criteria derived by Kim and Kozono. Our result gives a positive answer to the question proposed by Kim and Kozono. For the incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations, we also show the regularity of weak solution only under the assumption that ||u|| L 2w (0,T ;L ∞ ( R 3 )) is sufficiently small.  相似文献

Let ${\Phi}$ be a continuous, strictly increasing and concave function on (0, ∞) of critical lower type index ${p_\Phi^- \in(0,\,1]}$ . Let L be an injective operator of type ω having a bounded H functional calculus and satisfying the k-Davies–Gaffney estimates with ${k \in {\mathbb Z}_+}$ . In this paper, the authors first introduce an Orlicz–Hardy space ${H^{\Phi}_{L}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ in terms of the non-tangential L-adapted square function and then establish its molecular characterization. As applications, the authors prove that the generalized Riesz transform ${D_{\gamma}L^{-\delta/(2k)}}$ is bounded from the Orlicz–Hardy space ${H^{\Phi}_{L}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ to the Orlicz space ${L^{\widetilde{\Phi}}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ when ${p_\Phi^- \in (0, \frac{n}{n+ \delta - \gamma}]}$ , ${0 < \gamma \le \delta < \infty}$ and ${\delta- \gamma < n (\frac{1}{p_-(L)}-\frac{1}{p_+(L)})}$ , or from ${H^{\Phi}_{L}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ to the Orlicz–Hardy space ${H^{\widetilde \Phi}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ when ${p_\Phi^-\in (\frac{n}{n + \delta+ \lfloor \gamma \rfloor- \gamma},\,\frac{n}{n+ \delta- \gamma}]}$ , ${1\le \gamma \le \delta < \infty}$ and ${\delta- \gamma < n (\frac{1}{p_-(L)}-\frac{1}{p_+(L)})}$ , or from ${H^{\Phi}_{L}(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ to the weak Orlicz–Hardy space ${WH^\Phi(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ when ${\gamma = \delta}$ and ${p_\Phi=n/(n + \lfloor \gamma \rfloor)}$ or ${p_\Phi^-=n/(n + \lfloor \gamma \rfloor)}$ with ${p_\Phi^-}$ attainable, where ${\widetilde{\Phi}}$ is an Orlicz function whose inverse function ${\widetilde{\Phi}^{-1}}$ is defined by ${\widetilde{\Phi}^{-1}(t):=\Phi^{-1}(t)t^{\frac{1}{n}(\gamma- \delta)}}$ for all ${t \in (0,\,\infty)}$ , ${p_\Phi}$ denotes the strictly critical lower type index of ${\Phi}$ , ${\lfloor \gamma \rfloor}$ the maximal integer not more than ${\gamma}$ and ${(p_-(L),\,p_+(L))}$ the range of exponents ${p \in[1,\, \infty]}$ for which the semigroup ${\{e^{-tL}\}_{t >0 }}$ is bounded on ${L^p(\mathbb{R}^n)}$ .  相似文献

We study the structure of a metric n-Lie algebra G over the complex field C. Let G = SR be the Levi decomposition, where R is the radical of G and S is a strong semisimple subalgebra of G. Denote by m(G) the number of all minimal ideals of an indecomposable metric n-Lie algebra and R ⊥ the orthogonal complement of R. We obtain the following results. As S-modules, R ⊥ is isomorphic to the dual module of G/R. The dimension of the vector space spanned by all nondegenerate invariant symmetric bilinear forms on G is equal to that of the vector space of certain linear transformations on G; this dimension is greater than or equal to m(G) + 1. The centralizer of R in G is equal to the sum of all minimal ideals; it is the direct sum of R ⊥ and the center of G. Finally, G has no strong semisimple ideals if and only if R⊥■R.  相似文献

We derive Hölder regularity estimates for operators associated with a time-independent Schrödinger operator of the form $-\Delta +V$ . The results are obtained by checking a certain condition on the function $T1$ . Our general method applies to get regularity estimates for maximal operators and square functions of the heat and Poisson semigroups, for Laplace transform type multipliers and also for Riesz transforms and negative powers $(-\Delta +V)^{-\gamma /2}$ , all of them in a unified way.  相似文献

We consider non-autonomous wave equations $$\left\{\begin{array}{ll}\ddot{u}(t) + \mathcal{B}(t) \dot{u}(t) + \mathcal{A}(t)u(t) = f(t) \quad t{\text -}{\rm a.e.}\\ u(0) = u_{0},\, \dot{u}(0) = u_{1}.\\\end{array}\right.$$ where the operators ${\mathcal{A}(t)}$ and ${\mathcal{B}(t)}$ are associated with time-dependent sesquilinear forms ${\mathfrak{a}(t, ., .)}$ and ${\mathfrak{b}}$ defined on a Hilbert space H with the same domain V. The initial values satisfy ${u_0 \in V}$ and ${u_1 \in H}$ . We prove well-posedness and maximal regularity for the solution both in the spaces V′ and H. We apply the results to non-autonomous Robin-boundary conditions and also use maximal regularity to solve a quasilinear problem.  相似文献

Let $\mu = e^{-V} \ dx$ be a probability measure and $T = \nabla \Phi $ be the optimal transportation mapping pushing forward $\mu $ onto a log-concave compactly supported measure $\nu = e^{-W} \ dx$ . In this paper, we introduce a new approach to the regularity problem for the corresponding Monge–Ampère equation $e^{-V} = \det D^2 \Phi \cdot e^{-W(\nabla \Phi )}$ in the Besov spaces $W^{\gamma ,1}_{loc}$ . We prove that $D^2 \Phi \in W^{\gamma ,1}_{loc}$ provided $e^{-V}$ belongs to a proper Besov class and $W$ is convex. In particular, $D^2 \Phi \in L^p_{loc}$ for some $p>1$ . Our proof does not rely on the previously known regularity results.  相似文献

Let ${N \geq 3}$ and u be the solution of u t = Δ log u in ${\mathbb{R}^N \times (0, T)}$ with initial value u 0 satisfying ${B_{k_1}(x, 0) \leq u_{0} \leq B_{k_2}(x, 0)}$ for some constants k 1k 2 > 0 where ${B_k(x, t) = 2(N - 2)(T - t)_{+}^{N/(N - 2)}/(k + (T - t)_{+}^{2/(N - 2)}|x|^{2})}$ is the Barenblatt solution for the equation and ${u_0 - B_{k_0} \in L^{1}(\mathbb{R}^{N})}$ for some constant k 0 > 0 if ${N \geq 4}$ . We give a new different proof on the uniform convergence and ${L^1(\mathbb{R}^N)}$ convergence of the rescaled function ${\tilde{u}(x, s) = (T - t)^{-N/(N - 2)}u(x/(T - t)^{-1/(N - 2)}, t), s = -{\rm log}(T - t)}$ , on ${\mathbb{R}^N}$ to the rescaled Barenblatt solution ${\tilde{B}_{k_0}(x) = 2(N - 2)/(k_0 + |x|^{2})}$ for some k 0 > 0 as ${s \rightarrow \infty}$ . When ${N \geq 4, 0 \leq u_0(x) \leq B_{k_0}(x, 0)}$ in ${\mathbb{R}^N}$ , and ${|u_0(x) - B_{k_0}(x, 0)| \leq f \in L^{1}(\mathbb{R}^{N})}$ for some constant k 0 > 0 and some radially symmetric function f, we also prove uniform convergence and convergence in some weighted L 1 space in ${\mathbb{R}^N}$ of the rescaled solution ${\tilde{u}(x, s)}$ to ${\tilde{B}_{k_0}(x)}$ as ${s \rightarrow \infty}$ .  相似文献

This paper is a survey of our recent results concerning metabelian varieties, and more specifically, varieties generated by wreath products of Abelian groups. We give a full classification of cases where sets of wreath products of Abelian groups $ \mathfrak{X} $ Wr $ \mathfrak{Y} $ = { X Wr Y | X ∈ $ \mathfrak{X} $ , Y $ \mathfrak{Y} $ } and $ \mathfrak{X} $ wr $ \mathfrak{Y} $ = {X wr Y | X $ \mathfrak{X} $ , Y $ \mathfrak{Y} $ } generate the product variety $ \mathfrak{X} $ var ( $ \mathfrak{Y} $ ).  相似文献

Let $X$ be a lattice ordered algebra ( $\ell $ -algebra). A positive element $x\in $ $X$ is said to be totally bounded if $x^{2}\le x$ . The $\ell $ -algebra $X$ is said to have a $\sigma $ -bounded approximate unit if for each positive linear functional $f$ on $X$ the set $\left\{ f(x)\text{: } x \text{ totally } \text{ bounded }\right\} $ is bounded in $\mathbb R $ . In this paper we study the class of $f$ -algebras with a $\sigma $ -bounded approximate unit which contains the class of all unital $f$ -algebras. In particular It is shown that an $f$ -algebra $X$ has a $\sigma $ -bounded approximate unit if and only if the order bidual $X^{\sim \sim }$ is a unital $f$ -algebra.  相似文献

We treat the partial regularity of locally bounded local minimizers $u$ for the $p(x)$ -energy functional $$\begin{aligned} \mathcal{E }(v;\Omega ) = \int \left( g^{\alpha \beta }(x)h_{ij}(v) D_\alpha v^i (x) D_\beta v^j (x) \right) ^{p(x)/2} dx, \end{aligned}$$ defined for maps $v : \Omega (\subset \mathbb R ^m) \rightarrow \mathbb R ^n$ . Assuming the Lipschitz continuity of the exponent $p(x) \ge 2$ , we prove that $u \in C^{1,\alpha }(\Omega _0)$ for some $\alpha \in (0,1)$ and an open set $\Omega _0 \subset \Omega $ with $\dim _\mathcal{H }(\Omega \setminus \Omega _0) \le m-[\gamma _1]-1$ , where $\dim _\mathcal{H }$ stands for the Hausdorff dimension, $[\gamma _1]$ the integral part of $\gamma _1$ , and $\gamma _1 = \inf p(x)$ .  相似文献
