In this paper the sufficient and necessary conditions are given for a formal triangular matrix ring to be right PP, generalized right PP, or semihereditary, respectively.

Zip模(英文)

A ring R is called right zip provided that if the annihilator τR（X） of a subset X of R is zero, then τR（Y） = 0 for some finite subset Y C X. Such rings have been studied in literature. For a right R-module M, we introduce the notion of a zip module, which is a generalization of the right zip ring. A number of properties of this sort of modules are established, and the equivalent conditions of the right zip ring R are given. Moreover, the zip properties of matrices and polynomials over a module M are studied.     

On Skew Triangular Matrix Rings

Let α be a nonzero endomorphism of a ring R, n be a positive integer and T_n(R, α) be the skew triangular matrix ring. We show that some properties related to nilpotent elements of R are inherited by T_n(R, α). Meanwhile, we determine the strongly prime radical, generalized prime radical and Behrens radical of the ring R[x; α]/(x~n), where R[x; α] is the skew polynomial ring.     

Pseudop olarity of Generalized Matrix Rings over a Lo cal Ring

Pseudopolar rings are closely related to strongly π-regular rings, uniquely strongly clean rings and semiregular rings. In this paper, we investigate pseudopolarity of generalized matrix rings K s(R) over a local ring R. We determine the conditions under which elements of K s(R) are pseudopolar. Assume that R is a local ring. It is shown that A ∈ K s(R) is pseudopolar if and only if A is invertible or A2∈ J(K s(R)) or A is similar to a diagonal matrix[u 00 j], where l u-r j and l j-r u are injective and u ∈ U(R) and j ∈ J(R). Furthermore, several equivalent conditions for K s(R)over a local ring R to be pseudopolar are obtained.

Let M be a monoid. Maximal M-Armendariz subrings of upper triangular matrix rings are identified when R is M-Armendariz and reduced. Consequently, new families of M- Armendariz rings are presented.

An associative ring with identity R is called Armendariz if, whenever （∑^m i=0^aix^i）（∑^n j=0^bjx^j）=0 in R[x],aibj=0 for all i and j. An associative ring with identity is called reduced if it has no non-zero nilpotent elements. In this paper, we define a general reduced ring （with or without identity） and a general Armendariz ring （with or without identity）, and identify a class of maximal general Armendariz subrings of matrix rings over general reduced rings.     

半素环上(右)广义自同构的扩张

In this paper, we define the concept of (right) partial generalized automorphisms and discuss the extension problem, and also give a characterization of (right) partial generalized automorphisms of semiprime rings. Finally, we study the centralizing problem of right partial generalized automorphisms.     

Quasipolar Property of Generalized Matrix Rings

The article concerns the question of when a generalized matrix ring K _s (R) over a local ring R is quasipolar. For a commutative local ring R, it is proved that K _s (R) is quasipolar if and only if it is strongly clean. For a general local ring R, some partial answers to the question are obtained. There exist noncommutative local rings R such that K _s (R) is strongly clean, but not quasipolar. Necessary and sufficient conditions for a single matrix of K _s (R) (where R is a commutative local ring) to be quasipolar is obtained. The known results on this subject in [5 Cui , J. , Chen , J. ( 2011 ). When is a 2 × 2 matrix ring over a commutative local ring quasipolar? Comm. Alg. 39 : 3212 – 3221 .[Taylor &; Francis Online], [Web of Science ®] , [Google Scholar]] are improved or extended.     

广义幂级数环的PP性质

作为幂级数环的推广,Ｒｉｂｅｎｂｏｉｍ引入了广义幂级数环的概念．设Ｒ是有单位元的交换环,（Ｊ,≤）是严格全序半群．本文中我们证明了如下结果：（１）广义幂级数环 ［［Ｒｓ］］是ＰＰ－环当且仅当Ｒ是ＰＰ－环且Ｂ（Ｒ）的任意 Ｓ－可标子集Ｃ在Ｂ（Ｒ）中有最小上界;（２）如果对任意ｓ∈Ｓ都有０≤ｓ,则［［Ｒｓ,≤］］是弱ＰＰ－环当且仅当Ｒ是弱ＰＰ－环．我们还给出了一个例子说明交换的弱ＰＰ－环可以不是ＰＰ－环．     

Triangular Matrix Representations of Rings of Generalized Power Series

Let R be a ring and S a cancellative and torsion-free monoid and 〈 a strict order on S. If either （S,≤） satisfies the condition that 0 ≤ s for all s ∈ S, or R is reduced, then the ring [[R^S,≤]] of the generalized power series with coefficients in R and exponents in S has the same triangulating dimension as R. Furthermore, if R is a PWP ring, then so is [[R^S,≤]].     

Coherence and Generalized Morphic Property of Triangular Matrix Rings

Let R be a ring. R is left coherent if each of its finitely generated left ideals is finitely presented. R is called left generalized morphic if for every element a in R, l(a) = Rb for some b ∈ R, where l(a) denotes the left annihilator of a in R. The main aim of this article is to investigate the coherence and the generalized morphic property of the upper triangular matrix ring T _n (R) (n ≥ 1). It is shown that R is left coherent if and only if T _n (R) is left coherent for each n ≥ 1 if and only if T _n (R) is left coherent for some n ≥ 1. And an equivalent condition is obtained for T _n (R) to be left generalized morphic. Moreover, it is proved that R is left coherent and left Bézout if and only if T _n (R) is left generalized morphic for each n ≥ 1.     

PP-Rings of Generalized Power Series

Abstract As a generalization of power series rings, Ribenboim introduced the notion of the rings of generalized power series. Let R be a commutative ring, and (S, ≤) a strictly totally ordered monoid. We prove that (1) the ring [[R ^S,≤]] of generalized power series is a PP-ring if and only if R is a PP-ring and every S-indexed subset C of B(R) (the set of all idempotents of R) has a least upper bound in B(R) and (2) if (S, ≤) also satisfies the condition that 0 ≤s for any s∈S, then the ring [[R ^S,≤ ]] is weakly PP if and only if R is weakly PP. Rings with Maximal Finite Subrings

In[1 ] and[2 ] ,itwas proved thata ring with a finite maximal subring mustbe finite.Special cases of this result had been shown for commutative ring(see[3 ] ) and for PI-rings (see [4 ] ) . Lanski[5] extends the result to the ring with a finite maximal invariantsubring with respect to certain automorphism.In this paper,we shall consider ringswith maximal finite subrings. Such a ring,of course,is not necessarily finite. Becauseevery finite ring has maximal finite subrings,we shall be interest…

Generalized Stable Exchange Rings

In this paper, we investigate diagonal reductions of matrices over generalized stable exchange rings. Generalized Inverses of Matrices over Rings

Let R be a ring, * be an involutory function of the set of all finite matrices over R. In this paper, necessary and sufficient conditions are given for a matrix to have a (1,3)-inverse, (1,4)-inverse, or Moore-P enrose inverse, relative to *. Some results about generalized inverses of matrices over division rings are generalized and improved.     

Principal Quasi-Baerness of Rings of Skew Generalized Power Series

Let R be a ring and （S, 〈） be a strictly totally ordered monoid satisfying that 0 〈 s for all s C S. It is shown that if A is a weakly rigid homomorphism, then the skew generalized power series ring [[RS,-〈, λ]] is right p.q.-Baer if and only if R is right p.q.-Baer and any S-indexed subset of S,（R） has a generalized join in S,（R）. Several known results follow as consequences of our results.
