Tetranuclear Cluster Complexes of the Type [MM′(AuR3)2(μ‐H)(μ‐PCy2)(μ4‐PCy)(CO)6] (M,M′ = Mn, Re; R = Ph, Cy, Et): Synthesis, Structure, and Topomerisation The dirhenium complex [Re2(μ‐H)(μ‐PCy2)(CO)7(ax‐H2PCy)] ( 1 ) reacts at room temperature in thf solution with each two equivalents of the base DBU and of ClAuPR3 (R = Ph, Cy, Et) in a photochemical reaction process to afford the tetranuclear clusters [Re2(AuPR3)2(μ‐H)(μ‐PCy2)(μ4‐PCy)(CO)6] (R = Ph ( 2 ), Cy ( 3 ), Et ( 4 )) in yields of 35–48%. The homologue [Mn2(μ‐H)(μ‐PCy2)(CO)7(ax‐H2PCy)] ( 5 ) leads under the same reaction conditions to the corresponding products [Mn2(AuPR3)2(μ‐H)(μ‐PCy2)(μ4‐PCy)(CO)6] (R = Ph ( 6 ), Et ( 8 )). Also [MnRe(μ‐H)(μ‐PCy2)(CO)7(ax/eq‐H2PCy)] ( 9 ) reacts under formation of [MnRe(AuPR3)2(μ‐H)(μ‐PCy2)(μ4‐PCy)(CO)6] (R = Ph ( 10 ), Et ( 11 )). All new cluster complexes were identified by means of 1H‐NMR, 31P‐NMR and ν(CO)‐IR spectroscopic measurements. 2 , 4 and 10 have also been characterized by single crystal X‐ray structure analyses with crystal parameters: 2 triclinic, space group P 1, a = 12.256(4) Å, b = 12.326(4) Å, c = 24.200(6) Å, α = 83.77(2)°, β = 78.43(2)°, γ = 68.76(2)°, Z = 2; 4 monoclinic, space group C2/c, a = 12.851(3) Å, b = 18.369(3) Å, c = 40.966(8) Å, β = 94.22(1)°, Z = 8; 10 triclinic, space group P 1, a = 12.083(1) Å, b = 12.185(2) Å, c = 24.017(6) Å, α = 83.49(29)°, β = 78.54(2)°, γ = 69.15(2)°, Z = 2. The trapezoid arrangement of the metal atoms in 2 and 4 show in the solid structure trans‐positioned an open and a closed Re…Au edge. In solution these edges are equivalent and, on the 31P NMR time scale, represent two fluxional Re–Au bonds in the course of a topomerization process. Corresponding dynamic properties were observed for the dimanganese compounds 6 and 8 but not for the related MnRe clusters 10 and 11 . 2 and 4 are the first examples of cluster compounds with a permanent Re–Au bond valence isomerization.  相似文献

(PPh4)2[Cl2Re(N3S2)(μ‐NSN)(μ‐N≡ReCl3)]2 – a Rhenium(VII) Complex with a Nitrido, a Dinitridosulfato(II), and a Rhena‐3,5‐dithia‐2,4,6‐triazino Function The title compound has been prepared from PPh4[ReVIICl4(NSCl)2] with N(SiMe3)3 in dichloromethane solution to give red‐brown single crystals, which were suitable for a crystal structure determination. As a by‐product PPh4[ReNCl4] is formed. (PPh4)2[Cl2ReVII(N3S2)(μ‐NSN)(μ‐N≡ReVIICl3)]2 ( 1 ): Space group P21/c, Z = 2, lattice dimensions at –80 °C: a = 1280.8(2), b = 1017.5(1), c = 2467.8(3) pm, β = 95.04(1)°, R = 0.049. The complex anion of 1 consists of a planar ReN3S2‐heterocycle which is connected with the second rhenium atom by a μ‐nitrido bridge as well as by a μ‐dinitridosulfato(II) ligand to form a planar Re2(N)(NSN) six‐membered heterocycle. This [Cl2Re(N3S2)(μ‐NSN)(μ‐N≡ReCl3)] unit dimerizes via one of the N‐atoms of the (NSN)4– ligand to give a centrosymmetric Re2N2 four‐membered ring.  相似文献

The Molecular Complex Tris(μ4‐disulfido)‐hexa‐μ2‐chloro‐hexapalladium [Pd6(S2)3Cl6] A new hexameric form of PdSCl have been obtained by reaction of Pd metal with sulfur in SCl2 solution at 180 °C in a closed silica ampoule. The monoclinic crystal structure of β‐PdSCl (space group P21 /m; a = 7.766(2)Å; b = 11.941(2)Å; c = 9.136(3)Å; β = 110.57(3)°; Z =12) is built up by clusters [Pd6(S2)3Cl6] with nearly D3h symmetry. In the molecular units six Pd atoms form a trigonal prism with three S2 disulfide groups in front of the side faces. The fourfold coordination of the Pd atoms is completed by 6 Cl atoms forming μ2 bridges.  相似文献

The trichloro‐bridged dinuclear RuII complex tri‐μ‐chloro‐bis{[1,1,1‐tris(diphenylphosphinomethyl)ethane‐κ3P,P′,P′′]ruthenium(II)} hexafluorophosphate ethanol solvate, [Ru2Cl3(tripod)2]PF6·C2H6O, containing the tripod [1,1,1‐tris(diphenylphosphinomethyl)ethane, C41H39P3] ligand, was unexpectedly obtained from the reaction of [RuIIICl3(tripod)] with 1,4‐bis(diphenylphosphino)butane (dppb), followed by precipitation with NH4PF6. The magnetic moment of the compound at room temperature indicates that the dinuclear [Ru2(μ‐Cl)3(tripod)2]+ cation is diamagnetic. A single‐crystal X‐ray structure determination revealed that the two Ru atoms are bridged by the three Cl atoms. The coordination sphere of each Ru atom is completed by the three P atoms of a tripod ligand. The two P3Ru units are exactly eclipsed, while the bridging Cl atoms are staggered with respect to the six P atoms. The Ru⋯Ru distance is 3.3997 (7) Å and the mean Cl—Ru—Cl bond angle is 77.7°.  相似文献

About RhSCl5 — a Hexameric, Molecular Rhodium(III) Complex with SCl2 Ligands Needle‐shaped red crystals of RhSCl5 were obtained by reaction of Rh metall or RhI3 with SCl2 in a closed silica ampoule. In the monoclinic crystal structure the Rh atoms are octahedrally coordinated by 5 Cl atoms and a SCl2 ligand. In each case six RhCl5(SCl2) groups are connected with each other by two common edges of Cl atoms to form hexameric molecules [RhCl3(SCl2)]6. In the pseudohexagonal unit cell (monoclinic, space group C2/c, a = 26.215(5) Å, b = 6.7750(10) Å, c = 26.868(5) Å, β = 119.06(3)°, Z = 4) the molecules are stacked in columns and form a hexagonal rod package.  相似文献

Molybdenum and Tungsten Complexes with MNS Sequences. Crystal Structures of [MoCl3(N3S2)(1,4‐dioxane)2] and [Mo2Cl2(μ‐NSN)2(μ‐O)(NCMe3)(OCMe3)2]2 The cyclo‐thiazeno complexes [Cl3MNSNSN]2 of molybdenum and tungsten react with 1,4‐dioxane in dichloromethane suspension to give the binuclear donor‐acceptor complexes [μ‐(1,4‐dioxane){MCl3(N3S2)}2] which are characterized by IR spectroscopy. With excess 1,4‐dioxane the molybdenum compound forms the complex [MoCl3(N3S2)(1,4‐dioxane)2] in which, according to the crystal structure determination, one of the dioxane molecules coordinates at the molybdenum atom, the other one at one of the sulfur atoms of the cyclo‐thiazeno ring. The μ‐(NSN2–) complex [Mo2Cl2(μ‐NSN)2(μ‐O)(NCMe3)(OCMe3)2]2 has been obtained by the reaction of [MoN(OCMe3)3] with trithiazyle chloride in carbontetrachloride solution. According to the crystal structure determination this compound forms centrosymmetric dimeric molecules via two of the nitrogen atoms of two of the μ‐(NSN) groups to give a Mo2N2 fourmembered ring. The complex cis‐[RuIII(dmbpy)2Cl2](PF6) ( 2 ) (dmbpy = 4, 4′‐dimethyl‐2, 2′‐bipyridine) was obtained from the reaction of cis‐[RuII(dmbpy)2Cl2] ( 1 ) with ammonium cerium(IV) nitrate followed by precipitation with saturated ammonium hexafluoridophosphate. The 1H NMR spectrum of the RuIII complex confirms the presence of paramagnetic metal atoms, whereas that of the RuII complex displays diamagnetism. The 31P NMR spectrum of the RuIII complex shows one signal for the phosphorus atom of the PF6 ion. The perspective view of each [RuII/III(dmbpy)2Cl2]0/+ unit manifests that the ruthenium atom is in hexacoordinate arrangement with two dmbpy ligands and two chlorido ligands in cis position. As the oxidation state of the central ruthenium metal atom becomes higher, the average Ru–Cl bond length decreases whereas the Ru–N (dmbpy) bond length increases. The cis‐positioned dichloro angle in RuIII is 1.3° wider than that in the RuII. The dihedral angles between pair of planar six‐membered pyridyl ring in the dmbpy ligand for the RuII are 4.7(5)° and 5.7(4)°. The observed inter‐planar angle between two dmbpy ligands in the RuII is 89.08(15)°, whereas the value for the RuIII is 85.46(20)°.  相似文献

Caesiumchloropalladate(II)‐hydrates – Two New Compounds with Condensed [Pd2Cl6] Groups We were able to synthesize two caesiumchloropalladate(II)‐hydrates in the CsCl/PdCl2/H2O system by hydrothermal methods. Both compounds show combination of monomeric and dimeric Pd–Cl groups. We characterized the crystal structures by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. Cs6Pd5Cl16 · 2 H2O ( I ) crystallizes triclinic in space group type P1 (Nr. 2) with a = 8.972(1) Å, b = 11.359(1) Å, c = 18.168(1) Å, α = 83.61(1)°, β = 76.98(1)°, γ = 76.39(1)° and Z = 2, Cs12Pd9Cl30 · 2 H2O ( II ) monoclinic, space group type C2/m (No. 12) with a = 19.952(1) Å, b = 14.428(1) Å, c = 14.411(1) Å, β = 125.29(1)°, and Z = 2.  相似文献

A Contribution to Rhenium(II)‐, Osmium(II)‐, and Technetium(II)‐Thionitrosyl‐Complexes: Preparation, Structures, and EPR‐Spectra The reaction of [ReVINCl4] and [OsVINCl4] with S2Cl2 leads to the formation of the thionitrosyl complexes [MII(NS)Cl4] (M = Re, Os) which could not be isolated as pure compounds. Addition of pyridine to the reaction mixture results in the formation of the stable compounds trans‐(Ph4P)[OsII(NS)Cl4py], trans‐(Hpy)[OsII(NS)Cl4py], trans‐(Ph4P)[ReII(NS)Cl4py], and cis‐(Ph4P)[ReII(NS)Cl4py]. The crystal structure analyses show for trans‐(Ph4P)[OsII(NS)Cl4py] (monoclinic, P21/n, a = 12.430(3)Å, b = 18.320(4)Å, c = 15.000(3)Å, β = 114.20(3)°, Z = 4), trans‐(Hpy)[OsII(NS)Cl4py] (monoclinic, P21/n, a = 7.689(1)Å, b = 10.202(2)Å, c = 20.485(5)Å, β = 92.878(4)°, Z = 4), trans‐(Ph4P)[ReII(NS)Cl4py] (triclinic, P1¯, a = 9.331(5)Å, b = 12.068(5)Å, c = 15.411(5)Å, α = 105.25(1)°, β = 90.23(1)°, γ = 91.62(1)°, Z = 2), and cis‐(Ph4P)[ReII(NS)Cl4py] (monoclinic, P21/c, a = 10.361(1)Å, b = 16.091(2)Å, c = 17.835(2)Å, β = 90.524(2)°, Z = 4) M‐N‐S angles in the range 168‐175°. This indicates a nearly linear coordination of the NS ligand. The metal atom is octahedrally coordinated in all cases. The rhenium(II) thionitrosyl complexes (5d5 “low‐spin” configuration, S = 1/2) are studied by EPR in the temperature range 295 > T > 130 K. In addition to the detection of the complexes formed during the reaction of [ReVINCl4] with S2Cl2 EPR investigations on diamagnetically diluted powders and single crystals of the system (Ph4P)[ReII/OsII(NS)Cl4py] are reported. The 185, 187Re hyperfine parameters are used to get information about the spin‐density distribution of the unpaired electron in the complexes under study. [TcVINCl4] reacts with S2Cl2 under formation of [TcII(NS)Cl4] which is not stable and decomposes under S8 elimination and rebuilding of [TcVINCl4] as found by EPR monitoring of the reaction.  相似文献

The new compounds [(acac)2Ru(μ‐boptz)Ru(acac)2] ( 1 ), [(bpy)2Ru(μ‐boptz)Ru(bpy)2](ClO4)2 ( 2 ‐(ClO4)2), and [(pap)2Ru(μ‐boptz)Ru(pap)2](ClO4)2 ( 3 ‐(ClO4)2) were obtained from 3,6‐bis(2‐hydroxyphenyl)‐1,2,4,5‐tetrazine (H2boptz), the crystal structure analysis of which is reported. Compound 1 contains two antiferromagnetically coupled (J=?36.7 cm?1) RuIII centers. We have investigated the role of both the donor and acceptor functions containing the boptz2? bridging ligand in combination with the electronically different ancillary ligands (donating acac?, moderately π‐accepting bpy, and strongly π‐accepting pap; acac=acetylacetonate, bpy=2,2′‐bipyridine pap=2‐phenylazopyridine) by using cyclic voltammetry, spectroelectrochemistry and electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy for several in situ accessible redox states. We found that metal–ligand–metal oxidation state combinations remain invariant to ancillary ligand change in some instances; however, three isoelectronic paramagnetic cores Ru(μ‐boptz)Ru showed remarkable differences. The excellent tolerance of the bpy co ‐ ligand for both RuIII and RuII is demonstrated by the adoption of the mixed ‐ valent form in [L2Ru(μ‐boptz)RuL2]3+, L=bpy, whereas the corresponding system with pap stabilizes the RuII states to yield a phenoxyl radical ligand and the compound with L=acac? contains two RuIII centers connected by a tetrazine radical‐anion bridge.  相似文献

Activation of Carbon Disulfide on Triruthenium Clusters: Synthesis and X‐Ray Crystal Structure Analysis of [Ru3(CO)5(μ‐H)2(μ‐PCy2)(μ‐Ph2PCH2PPh2){μ‐η2‐PCy2C(S)}(μ3‐S)] and [Ru3(CO)5(CS)(μ‐H)(μ‐PtBu2)(μ‐PCy2)23‐S)] [Ru3(CO)6(μ‐H)2(μ‐PCy2)2(μ‐dppm)] ( 1 ) (dppm = Ph2PCH2PPh2) reacts under mild conditions with CS2 and yields by oxidative decarbonylation and insertion of CS into one phosphido bridge the opened 50 VE‐cluster [Ru3(CO)5(μ‐H)2(μ‐PCy2)(μ‐dppm){μ‐η2‐PCy2C(S)}(μ3‐S)] ( 2 ) with only two M–M bonds. The compound 2 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P 1 with a = 19.093(3), b = 12.2883(12), c = 20.098(3) Å; α = 84.65(3), β = 77.21(3), γ = 81.87(3)° and V = 2790.7(11) Å3. The reaction of [Ru3(CO)7(μ‐H)(μ‐PtBu2)(μ‐PCy2)2] ( 3 ) with CS2 in refluxing toluene affords the 50 VE‐cluster [Ru3(CO)5(CS)(μ‐H)(μ‐PtBu2)(μ‐PCy2)23‐S)] ( 4 ). The compound cristallizes in the monoclinic space group P 21/a with a = 19.093(3), b = 12.2883(12), c = 20.098(3) Å; β = 104.223(16)° and V = 4570.9(10) Å3. Although in the solid state structure one elongated Ru–Ru bond has been found the complex 4 can be considered by means of the 31P‐NMR data as an electron‐rich metal cluster.  相似文献

The two title dinuclear copper(II) complexes, [Cu2Cl4(C17H20Cl2N2)2], (I), and [Cu2Cl4(C19H22N2O4)2], (II), have similar coordination environments. In each complex, the asymmetric unit consists of one half‐molecule and the two copper centres are bridged by a pair of Cl atoms, resulting in complexes with centrosymmetric structures containing Cu(μ‐Cl)2Cu parallelogram cores; the Cu...Cu separations and Cu—Cl—Cu angles are 3.4285 (8) Å and 83.36 (3)°, respectively, for (I), and 3.565 (2) Å and 84.39 (7)° for (II). Each Cu atom is five‐coordinated and the coordination geometry around the Cu atom is best described as a distorted square‐pyramid with a τ value of 0.155 (3) for (I) and 0.092 (7) for (II). The apical Cu—Cl bond length is 2.852 (1) Å for (I) and 2.971 (2) Å for (II). The basal Cu—Cl and Cu—N average bonds lengths are 2.2673 (9) and 2.030 (2) Å, respectively, for (I), and 2.280 (2) and 2.038 (6) Å for (II). The molecules of (I) are linked by one C—H...Cl hydrogen bond into a complex [10] sheet. The molecules of (II) are linked by one C—H...Cl and one N—H...O hydrogen bond into a complex [100] sheet.  相似文献

Coordinatively Unsaturated Diruthenium Complexes: Synthesis and X‐ray Crystal Structures of [Ru2(CO)n(μ‐H)(μ‐PtBu2)(μ‐Ph2PCH2PPh2)] (n = 4; 5) and [Ru2(CO)4(μ‐CH2)(μ‐H)(μ‐PtBu2)(μ‐Ph2PCH2PPh2)] The reaction of [Ru2(μ‐CO)(CO)5(μ‐H)(μ‐PtBu2)(tBu2PH)] ( 2 ) with dppm yields the dinuclear species [Ru2(μ‐CO)(CO)4(μ‐H)(μ‐PtBu2)(μ‐dppm)] ( 3 ) (dppm = Ph2PCH2PPh2). Under thermal or photolytic conditions 3 loses very easily one carbonyl ligand and affords the corresponding electronically and coordinatively unsaturated complex [Ru2(CO)4(μ‐H)(μ‐PtBu2)(μ‐dppm)] ( 4 ). 4 is also obtainable by an one‐pot synthesis from [Ru3(CO)12], an excess of tBu2PH and stoichiometric amounts of dppm via the formation of [Ru2(CO)4(μ‐H)(μ‐PtBu2)(tBu2PH)2] ( 1 ). 4 exhibits a Ru–Ru double bond which could be confirmed by addition of methylene to the dimetallacyclopropane [Ru2(CO)4(μ‐CH2)(μ‐H)(μ‐PtBu2)(μ‐dppm)] ( 5 ). The molecular structures of 3 , 4 and 5 were determined by X‐ray crystal structure analyses.  相似文献

Reactions of copper(I) halides (Cl, Br, I) with 1‐methyl‐1, 3‐imidazoline‐2‐thione (mimzSH) in 1 : 2 molar ratio yielded sulfur‐bridged dinuclear [Cu2X2(μ‐S‐mimzSH)21‐S‐mimzSH)2] (X = I, 1 , Br, 2 ; Cl, 3 ) complexes. Copper(I) iodide with 1,3‐imidazoline‐2‐thione (imzSH2) and Ph3P in 1 : 1 : 1 molar ratio has also formed a sulfur‐bridged dinuclear [Cu2I2(μ‐S‐imzSH2)2(PPh3)2] ( 4 ) complex. The central Cu(μ‐S)2Cu cores form parallelograms with unequal Cu–S bond distances {2.324(2), 2.454(3) Å} ( 1 ); {2.3118(6), 2.5098(6) Å} ( 2 ); {2.3075(4), 2.5218(4) Å} ( 3 ); {2.3711(8), 2.4473(8) Å} ( 4 ). The Cu···Cu separations, 2.759–2.877Å in complexes 1 – 3 are much shorter than 3.3446Å in complex 4 . The weak intermolecular interactions {H2CH···S# ( 2 ); CH···Cl# ( 3 ); NH···I# ( 4 )} between dimeric units in complexes 2 – 4 lead to the formation of linear 1D polymers.  相似文献

Synthesis and Crystal Structure of the Complexes [(n‐Bu)4N]2[{(THF)Cl4Re≡N}2PdCl2], [Ph4P]2[(THF)Cl4Re≡N‐PdCl(μ‐Cl)]2 and [(n‐Bu)4N]2[Pd3Cl8] The threenuclear complex [(n‐Bu)4N]2[{(THF)Cl4Re≡N}2 PdCl2] ( 1 ) is obtained in THF by the reaction of PdCl2(NCC6H5)2 with [(n‐Bu)4N][ReNCl4] in the molar ration 1:2. It forms orange crystals with the composition 1· THF crystallizing in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 2973.3(2); b = 1486.63(7); c = 1662.67(8)pm; β = 120.036(5)° and Z = 4. If the reaction is carried out with PdCl2 instead of PdCl2(NCC6H5)2, orange crystals of hitherto unknown [(n‐Bu)4N]2[Pd3Cl8] ( 3 ) are obtained besides some crystals of 1· THF. 3 crystallizes with the space group P1¯ and a = 1141.50(8), b = 1401.2(1), c = 1665.9(1)pm, α = 67.529(8)°, β = 81.960(9)°, γ = 66.813(8)° and Z = 2. In the centrosymmetric complex anion [{(THF)Cl4Re≡N}2PdCl2]2— a linear PdCl2 moiety is connected in trans arrangement with two complex fragments [(THF)Cl4Re≡N] via asymmetric nitrido bridges Re≡N‐Pd. The crystal structure of 3 contains two symmetry independent, planar complexes [Pd3Cl8]2— with the symmetry 1¯, in which the Pd atoms are connected by slightly asymmetric chloro bridges. By the reaction of equimolar amounts of [Ph4P][ReNCl4] and PdCl2(NCC6H5)2 in THF brown crystals of the heterometallic complex, [Ph4P]2[(THF)Cl4Re≡N‐PdCl(μ‐Cl)]2 ( 2 ) result. 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n with a = 979.55(9); b = 2221.5(1); c = 1523.1(2)pm; β = 100.33(1)° and Z = 2. In the central unit ClPd(μ‐Cl)2PdCl of the centrosymmetric anionic complex [(THF)Cl4Re≡N‐PdCl(μ‐Cl)]22— the coordination of the Pd atoms is completed by two nitrido bridges Re≡N‐Pd to nitrido complex fragments [(THF)Cl4Re≡N] forming a square‐planar arrangement for Pd(II). The distances in the linear nitrido bridges are Re‐N = 163.8(9)pm and Pd‐N = 191.5(9)pm.  相似文献

Heterobinuclear Complexes: Synthesis and X‐ray Crystal Structures of [RuRh(μ‐CO)(CO)4(μ‐PtBu2)(tBu2PH)], [RuRh(μ‐CO)(CO)3(μ‐PtBu2)(μ‐Ph2PCH2PPh2)], and [CoRh(CO)4(μ‐H)(μ‐PtBu2)(tBu2PH)] [Ru3Rh(CO)73‐H)(μ‐PtBu2)2(tBu2PH)(μ‐Cl)2] ( 2 ) yields by cluster degradation under CO pressure as main product the heterobinuclear complex [RuRh(μ‐CO)(CO)4(μ‐PtBu2)(tBu2PH)] ( 4 ). The compound crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pcab with a = 15.6802(15), b = 28.953(3), c = 11.8419(19) Å and V = 5376.2(11) Å3. The reaction of 4 with dppm (Ph2PCH2PPh2) in THF at room temperature affords in good yields [RuRh(μ‐CO)(CO)3(μ‐PtBu2)(μ‐dppm)] ( 7 ). 7 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P 1 with a = 9.7503(19), b = 13.399(3), c = 15.823(3) Å and V = 1854.6 Å3. Moreover single crystals of [CoRh(CO)4(μ‐H)(μ‐PtBu2)(tBu2PH)] ( 9 ) could be obtained and the single‐crystal X‐ray structure analysis revealed that 9 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/a with a = 11.611(2), b = 13.333(2), c = 18.186(3) Å and V = 2693.0(8) Å3.  相似文献

The blue tetranuclear CuII complexes {[Cu(bpy)(OH)]4Cl2}Cl2 · 6 H2O ( 1 ) and {[Cu(phen)(OH)]4(H2O)2}Cl4 · 4 H2O ( 2 ) were synthesized and characterized by single crystal X‐ray diffraction. ( 1 ): P 1 (no. 2), a = 9.240(1) Å, b = 10.366(2) Å, c = 12.973(2) Å, α = 85.76(1)°, β = 75.94(1)°, γ = 72.94(1)°, V = 1152.2(4) Å3, Z = 1; ( 2 ): P 1 (no. 2), a = 9.770(3) Å, b = 10.118(3) Å, c = 14.258(4) Å, α = 83.72(2)°, β = 70.31(1)°, γ = 70.63(1)°, V = 1252.0(9) Å3, Z = 1. The building units are centrosymmetric tetranuclear {[Cu(bpy)(OH)]4Cl2}2+ and {[Cu(phen)(OH)]4(H2O)2}4+ complex cations formed by condensation of four elongated square pyramids CuN2(OH)2Lap with the apical ligands Lap = Cl, H2O, OH. The resulting [Cu42‐OH)23‐OH)2] core has the shape of a zigzag band of three Cu2(OH)2 squares. The cations exhibit intramolecular and intermolecular π‐π stacking interactions and the latter form 2D layers with the non‐bonded Cl anions and H2O molecules in between (bond lengths: Cu–N = 1.995–2.038 Å; Cu–O = 1.927–1.982 Å; Cu–Clap = 2.563; Cu–Oap(OH) = 2.334–2.369 Å; Cu–Oap(H2O) = 2.256 Å). The Cu…Cu distances of about 2.93 Å do not indicate direct interactions, but the strongly reduced magnetic moment of about 2.74 B.M. corresponds with only two unpaired electrons per formula unit of 1 (1.37 B.M./Cu) and obviously results from intramolecular spin couplings (χm(T‐θ) = 0.933 cm3 · mol–1 · K with θ = –0.7 K).  相似文献

This article deals with the hitherto unexplored metal complexes of deprotonated 6,12‐di(pyridin‐2‐yl)‐5,11‐dihydroindolo[3,2‐b]carbazole (H2L). The synthesis and structural, optical, electrochemical characterization of dimeric [{RuIII(acac)2}2(μ‐L.?)]ClO4 ([ 1 ]ClO4, S=1/2), [{RuII(bpy)2}2(μ‐L.?)](ClO4)3 ([ 2 ](ClO4)3, S=1/2), [{RuII(pap)2}2(μ‐L2?)](ClO4)2 ([ 4 ](ClO4)2, S=0), and monomeric [(bpy)2RuII(HL?)]ClO4 ([ 3 ]ClO4, S=0), [(pap)2RuII(HL?)]ClO4 ([ 5 ]ClO4, S=0) (acac=σ‐donating acetylacetonate, bpy=moderately π‐accepting 2,2’‐bipyridine, pap=strongly π‐accepting 2‐phenylazopyridine) are reported. The radical and dianionic states of deprotonated L in isolated dimeric 1 +/ 2 3+ and 4 2+, respectively, could be attributed to the varying electronic features of the ancillary (acac, bpy, and pap) ligands, as was reflected in their redox potentials. Perturbation of the energy level of the deprotonated L or HL upon coordination with {Ru(acac)2}, {Ru(bpy)2}, or {Ru(pap)2} led to the smaller energy gap in the frontier molecular orbitals (FMO), resulting in bathochromically shifted NIR absorption bands (800–2000 nm) in the accessible redox states of the complexes, which varied to some extent as a function of the ancillary ligands. Spectroelectrochemical (UV/Vis/NIR, EPR) studies along with DFT/TD‐DFT calculations revealed (i) involvement of deprotonated L or HL in the oxidation processes owing to its redox non‐innocent potential and (ii) metal (RuIII/RuII) or bpy/pap dominated reduction processes in 1 + or 2 2+/ 3 +/ 4 2+/ 5 +, respectively.  相似文献
