Metal Ampoules as Mini‐Autoclaves: Syntheses and Crystal Structures of [Al(NH3)4Cl2][Al(NH3)2Cl4] and (NH4)2[Al(NH3)4Cl2][Al(NH3)2Cl4]Cl2 The salts [Al(NH3)4Cl2]+[Al(NH3)2Cl4]≡AlCl3 · 3 NH3 ( 1 ) and (NH4+)2[Al(NH3)4Cl2]+[Al(NH3)2Cl4](Cl)2≡ AlCl3 · 3 NH3 · (NH4)Cl ( 2 ) have been obtained as single crystals during the reactions of aluminum and aluminum trichloride, respectively, with ammonium chloride in sealed Monel metal containers. The crystal structure of 1 was determined again [triclinic, P‐1; a = 574.16(10); b = 655.67(12); c = 954.80(16) pm; α = 86.41(2); β = 87.16(2); γ = 84.89(2)°], that of 2 for the first time [monoclinic, I2/m; a = 657.74(12); b = 1103.01(14); c = 1358.1(3) pm; β = 103.24(2)°].  相似文献

Synthesis and Crystal Structure of the Complexes [(n‐Bu)4N]2[{(THF)Cl4Re≡N}2PdCl2], [Ph4P]2[(THF)Cl4Re≡N‐PdCl(μ‐Cl)]2 and [(n‐Bu)4N]2[Pd3Cl8] The threenuclear complex [(n‐Bu)4N]2[{(THF)Cl4Re≡N}2 PdCl2] ( 1 ) is obtained in THF by the reaction of PdCl2(NCC6H5)2 with [(n‐Bu)4N][ReNCl4] in the molar ration 1:2. It forms orange crystals with the composition 1· THF crystallizing in the monoclinic space group C2/c with a = 2973.3(2); b = 1486.63(7); c = 1662.67(8)pm; β = 120.036(5)° and Z = 4. If the reaction is carried out with PdCl2 instead of PdCl2(NCC6H5)2, orange crystals of hitherto unknown [(n‐Bu)4N]2[Pd3Cl8] ( 3 ) are obtained besides some crystals of 1· THF. 3 crystallizes with the space group P1¯ and a = 1141.50(8), b = 1401.2(1), c = 1665.9(1)pm, α = 67.529(8)°, β = 81.960(9)°, γ = 66.813(8)° and Z = 2. In the centrosymmetric complex anion [{(THF)Cl4Re≡N}2PdCl2]2— a linear PdCl2 moiety is connected in trans arrangement with two complex fragments [(THF)Cl4Re≡N] via asymmetric nitrido bridges Re≡N‐Pd. For Pd(II) thereby results a square‐planar coordination PdCl2N2. The linear nitrido bridges are characterized by distances Re‐N = 163.8(7)pm and Pd‐N = 194.1(7)pm. The crystal structure of 3 contains two symmetry independent, planar complexes [Pd3Cl8]2— with the symmetry 1¯, in which the Pd atoms are connected by slightly asymmetric chloro bridges. By the reaction of equimolar amounts of [Ph4P][ReNCl4] and PdCl2(NCC6H5)2 in THF brown crystals of the heterometallic complex, [Ph4P]2[(THF)Cl4Re≡N‐PdCl(μ‐Cl)]2 ( 2 ) result. 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n with a = 979.55(9); b = 2221.5(1); c = 1523.1(2)pm; β = 100.33(1)° and Z = 2. In the central unit ClPd(μ‐Cl)2PdCl of the centrosymmetric anionic complex [(THF)Cl4Re≡N‐PdCl(μ‐Cl)]22— the coordination of the Pd atoms is completed by two nitrido bridges Re≡N‐Pd to nitrido complex fragments [(THF)Cl4Re≡N] forming a square‐planar arrangement for Pd(II). The distances in the linear nitrido bridges are Re‐N = 163.8(9)pm and Pd‐N = 191.5(9)pm.  相似文献

Synthesis of Phenylnitrene Complexes with N-Trimethylsilylaniline. II. Characterization and Crystal Structure of the Rhenium(V) Complexes mer-[Re(NPh)Cl3(NH2Ph)(Ph3P)] and trans-[Re(NPh)(OMe)Cl2(Ph3P)2] Reaction of [ReOCl3(Ph3P)2] with N-trimethylsilylaniline yields mer-[Re(NPh)Cl3(Ph3P)2], which reacts under air with excess of N-trimethylsilylaniline to form [Re(NPh)Cl3 · (NH2Ph)(Ph3P)]. Crystallization from CH2Cl2/MeOH affords [Re(NPh)(OMe)Cl2(Ph3P)2] as an additional product. [Re(NPh)Cl3(NH2Ph)(Ph3P)] crystallizes in the monoclinic space group P21/n with a = 1 192.3(3); b = 1 918.9(3); c = 1 266.3(3) pm; β = 101.71(1)°; Z = 4. The rhenium atom has a distorted octahedral environment with the Cl atoms in meridional positions. The phenyl nitrene ligand is coordinated with an almost linear arrangement Re? N1? C40 = 166.8(6)° and with a bond distance Re?N = 170.5(6) pm. [Re(NPh)(OMe)Cl2(Ph3P)2] · 1/2CH2Cl2 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P1 : a = 1 103.1(4); b = 1 227.9(4); c = 1 711.3(5) pm; α = 70.48(3)°; β = 72.71(3)°; γ = 80.03(3)°; Z = 2. The rhenium atom exhibits a distorted octahedral coordination with the Cl atoms and the phosphine ligands in trans positions. As a consequence of the competition of the nitrene ligand and the trans-coordinated methoxy group the Re?;N bond length is slightly lengthened to 173.2(7) pm, while the Re? O bond length of 193.4(6) pm is short. The bond angles Re? N? C70 and Re? O? C80 are 173.3(7)° and 139.1(7)°, respectively.  相似文献

On the Mechanism of the Thermal Decomposition of Ammonium and Ammin Chloro Complexes of Ruthenium, Rhodium, Palladium and Platinum The thermolysis of noble metal compounds was investigated by a combination of independent physical (DTA/TG, high-temperature Guinier-Simon-technique) and preparative methods, characterization of the educts, intermediats and products by Guinier X-ray patterns and IR spectroscopy:
  • (a) (NH4)2[PtCl6], (NH4)2[PtCl4], [Pt(NH3)4][PtCl4], [Pt(NH3)4]Cl2, and trans-[Pt(NH3)2Cl2];
  • (b) (NH4)2[PdCl4], [Pd(NH3)4]Cl2, trans-[Pd(NH3)2Cl2], and [Pd(NH3)4][PdCl4];
  • (c) (NH4)2[RhCl5(H2O)], (NH4)3[Rh2Cl9], K2[RhCl5(H2O)], and K2[RhCl5(NH3)];
  • (d) (NH4)2[RuCl5(NH3)] and (NH4)4[Ru2Cl10O]
. The most important step of the mechanism of the thermal decomposition is the ?internal”? redox reaction between the noble metal cation and the nitrogen atom of the ammine ligand.  相似文献

Synthesis and Structure of Mo2NCl7 The reaction of VN with MoCl5 at 175 °C in a sealed glass ampoule yields the molybdenum(V) nitride chloride Mo2NCl7 in form of air sensitive black crystals with the triclinic space group P1¯ and a = 905.7(8); b = 975.4((6); c = 1283.4(8) pm, α = 103.13(4)°; β = 109.83(5)° und γ = 98.58(5)°. The crystal structure is built up from dinuclear units [Mo2N2Cl7]3— and [Mo2Cl7]3+, which are connected by asymmetric nitrido bridges to form endless chains. Within both dinuclear units the Mo atoms are bridged by three Cl atoms resulting in a Mo‐Mo distance of 349.2(3) pm in the unit [Mo2N2Cl7]3—. In case of [Mo2Cl7]3+, however, a shorter Mo‐Mo distance of 289.4(3) pm is observed, which can be interpreted by a single bond. Correspondingly a reduced magnetic moment of 0.95 B.M. per Mo atom is observed.  相似文献

The formation of 1 in air involves a ligand exchange, and the coordination of a water molecule in trans position to the Os‐N triple bond. The resulting complex fragments [(H2O)Cl4Os≡N] and [IrCl(C5Me5)(AsPh3)] are connected by an asymmetric nitrido bridge Os≡N‐Ir. The nitrido bridge is characterised by an Os‐N‐Ir bond angle of 173.7(7)°, and distances Os‐N = 168(1) pm and Ir‐N = 191(1) pm. 2 crystallizes in clumped together brown platelets with the space group and a = 1023.3(3), b = 1476.2(3), c = 1872.5(6) pm, α = 74.60(2), β = 73.84(2), γ = 76.19(2)°, Z = 2. In 2 the asymmetric nitrido bridge Os≡N‐Ir joins the two complex fragments [(Ph3Sb)Cl4Os≡N] and [IrCl(C5Me5)(SbPh3)], which are formed by a ligand exchange reaction. 3 forms dark green crystals with the triclinic space group and a = 1079.4(1), b = 1172.3(1), c = 1696.7(2) pm, α = 101.192(9),β = 92.70(1), γ = 92.61(1)°, Z = 2. The distances in the almost linear nitrido bridge (Os≡N‐Ir = 175.3(7)°) are Os‐N = 171(1) pm and Ir‐N = 183(1) pm. The reaction of [ReNCl2(PMe2Ph)3] with [Mo(CO)3(NCMe)3] unexpectedly affords the trinuclear complex [{(Me2PhP)2(OC)Cl2Re≡N}2ReNCl2(PMe2Ph)] ( 4 ) as the main product. It forms triclinic brown crystals with the composition 4 ·2THF and the space group (a = 1382.70(7), b = 1498.58(7), c = 1760.4(1) pm, α = 99.780(7), β = 99.920(7), γ = 114.064(6)°, Z = 2). In the trinuclear complex, the central fragment, [ReNCl2(PMe2Ph)] is joined in trans position to two nitrido complexes [(Me2PhP)2(CO)Cl2Re≡N], giving an almost linear Re≡N‐Re‐N≡Re arrangement. The bond angles and distances in the nitrido bridges are Re‐N‐Re = 167.8(3)°, Re‐N = 171.1(8) pm and 204.2(8) pm; and Re‐N‐Re = 168.1(4)°, Re‐N = 170.9(9) and 203.5(9) pm respectively. As expected, the Re‐N bond length to the terminal nitrido ligand on the central Re atom is much shorter at 161.2(9) pm than the triple bonds of the asymmetric bridges.  相似文献

Synthesis, Structure and Thermolysis of NH4[Re3Br10] NH4[Re3Br10] crystallizes as dark brown single crystals upon slow cooling of a hot, saturated hydrobromic-acid solution of [Re3Br9(H2O)2] after the addition of NH4Br. The crystal structure (monoclinic, C2/m (Nr. 12); Z = 4; a = 1461.6(7), b = 1 085.6(4), c = 1030.3(7) pm, β = 92.63(4)°, Vm = 245.9(4)cm3/mol; R = 0.097, Rw = 0.043) contains [Re3Br12]? units that share two common edges. These chains run along [010] and are held together by NH4+ ions. Each NH4+ is surrounded by eight Br? from four different chains. The first step of the thermal decomposition at 290°C is the disproportionation to ReBr3 (ReCl3 type), rhenium metal and (NH4)2[ReBr6]. Secondly, the internal reduction of (NH4)2[ReBr6] at 390°C to rhenium metal takes place.  相似文献

Preparation and Crystal Structure of (NH4)2[V(NH3)Cl5]. The Crystal Chemistry of the Compounds (NH4)2[V(NH3)Cl5], [Rh(NH3)5Cl]Cl2, and M2VXCl5 with M = K, NH4, Rb, Cs and X ? Cl, O (NH4)2[V(NH3)Cl5] crystallizes like [Rh(NH3)5Cl]Cl2 in the orthorhombic space group Pnma with Z = 4. The compounds are built up by isolated NH4+ or Cl? and complex MX5Y ions. The following distances have been observed: V? N: 213.8, V? Cl: 235.8–239.1, Rh? N: 207.1–208.5, Rh? Cl: 235.5 pm. Both structures differ from the K2PtCl6 type mainly in the ordering of the MX5Y polyhedra. The compounds M2VCl6 and M2VOCl5 with M = K, NH4, Rb, and Cs crystallize with exception of the orthorhombic K2VOCl5 in the K2PtCl6 type. The reactions of Cp*M(PMe3)Cl2 (M = Rh ( 1a ), Ir ( 1b )) with (NEt4)2[WS4] led to the heterodimetallic sulfido‐bridged complexes Cp*M(PMe3)[(μ‐S)2WS2] (M = Rh ( 2a ), Ir ( 2b )), whereas the dimers [Cp*MCl(μ‐Cl)]2 (M = Rh ( 4a ), Ir ( 4b )) reacted with (NEt4)2[WS4) to give the known trinuclear compounds [Cp*M(Cl)]2(μ‐WS4) (M = Rh ( 5a ), Ir ( 5b )). Hydrolysis of the terminal W=S bonds converts 2a, b into Cp*M(PMe3)[(μ‐S)2WO2] (M = Rh ( 3a ), Ir ( 3b )). Salts of a heterodimetallic anion, A[CpMo(I)(NO)(WS4)] ( 6 ) (A+ = NEt4+, NPh4+) were obtained by reactions of [CpMo(NO)I2]2 with tetrathiotungstates, A2[WS4]. The complexes were characterized by IR and NMR (1H, 13C, 31P) spectroscopy, and the X‐ray crystallographic structure of Cp*Rh(PMe3)[(μ‐S)2WS2] ( 2a ) has been determined. The bond lengths and angles in the coordinations spheres of Rh and W in 2a (Rh···W 288.5(1) pm) are compared with related complexes containing terminal [WS42—] chelate ligands.  相似文献

(NH4)3[M2NCl10] (M = Nb, Ta): Synthesis, Crystal Structure, and Phase Transition The nitrido complexes (NH4)3[Nb2NCl10], and (NH4)3[Ta2NCl10] are obtained in form of moisture-sensitive, tetragonal crystals by the reaction of the corresponding pentachlorides with NH4Cl at 400 °C in sealed glass ampoules. Both compounds crystallize isotypically in two modifications, a low temperature form with the space group P4/mnc and a high temperature form with space group I4/mmm. In case of (NH4)3[Ta2NCl10] a continuous phase transition occurs between –70 °C and +60 °C. For the niobium compound this phase transition is not yet fully completed at 90 °C. The structure of (NH4)3[Nb2NCl10] was determined at several temperatures between –65 °C und +90 °C to carefully follow the continuous phase transition. For (NH4)3[Ta2NCl10] the structure of the low temperature form was determined at –70 °C, and of the high temperature form at +60 °C. The closely related crystal structures of the two modifications contain NH4+ cations and [M2NCl10]3– anions. The anions with the symmetry D4h are characterized by a symmetrical nitrido bridge M=N=M with distances Nb–N = 184.5(1) pm at –65 °C or 183.8(2) pm at 90 °C, and Ta–N = 184.86(5) pm at –70 °C or 184.57(5) pm at 60 °C.  相似文献

Trans,trans-[MoX2py4][MoX4py2] (X = Cl, A; Br, B; py = pyridine, C5H5N) are the side products of reaction of between (NH4)2[MoX5 · H2O] (X = Cl,Br) with pyridine diluted with methanol. Both trans,trans-[MoX2py4][MoX4py2] are monoclinic, P21/n space group, with z = 2 and: a = 12.568(1), b = 9.430(1), c = 14.952(1) Å and β = 100.81(1)° (A); a = 12.551(2), b = 9.533(2), c = 15.366(2) (Å) and β = 99.35(1) (B). Cations and anions are located on the symmetry centers and have eclipsed conformation of the trans located pyridine ligands. Average Mo? X and Mo? N (pyridine) bonds are; (cation) 2.41, 2.21 Å (A); 2.54, 2.21 Å (B); (anion) 2.44, 2.20 Å (A); 2.58, 2.20 Å (B). Anionic part of the compounds can be oxidised by bromine to trans-MoX4py2, which precipitates from the solution. Cation can be isolated from the solution in the form of trans-[MoX2py4]Br3 (X = Cl, Br). The compounds were also characterised by chemical analysis, infrared spectroscopy and conductivity measurements.  相似文献

Reaction of [M(NH3)6]Cl3 (M = Co, Rh, Ir) and [Ir(NH3)5(OH2)]Cl3 with (NH4)2C2O4 · H2O in aqueous solution resulted in the isolation of [M(NH3)6]2(C2O4)3 · 4 H2O and [Ir(NH3)5(OH2)]2(C2O4)3 · 4 H2O, respectively. The complexes have been characterized by X‐ray crystallography, IR and UV/VIS spectroscopy. The isomorphous compounds crystallize in the orthorhombic space group Pnnm (No. 58). Four molecules of crystal water are involved in an extended three‐dimensional hydrogen bonding network. The librational modes of the lattice water around 600 cm–1 allow the characterization of [Ir(NH3)6]2(C2O4)3 · 4 H2O and [Ir(NH3)5(OH2)]2(C2O4)3 · 4 H2O, respectively, by IR spectroscopy. The band around 600 cm–1 shows a significant frequency shift in the IR spectra of the hexaammine and aquapentaammine complex of iridium(III) and, by that, a distinction is possible.  相似文献

According to the results of powder X-ray diffraction study of the complex salts of composition [M(NH3)5Cl][M"Cl4] (M = Ir, Rh, or Co and M" = Pt or Pd), the anhydrous salts crystallize in the orthorhombic system (space group Pnma) and are isostructural to the [Ir(NH3)5Cl][PtCl4] complex studied previously. The unit cell parameters of the resulting salts were refined. The metal powders, which were obtained by thermal decomposition of these salts under an atmosphere of hydrogen, were studied by powder X-ray analysis.  相似文献
