We investigate the pion-nucleon vertex from factor in an extended Skyrme soliton model with explicit inclusion of ϱ and ω mesons. We find a pion-nucleon coupling constant quite close to the empirical value and a cutoff mass ⋮ ⋍ 0.9 MeV in a monopole approximation to the πNN form factor at low q2. This value of ⋮ is considerably larger than the prediction of the original Skyrme model (⋮⋍0.6 GeV). We also investigate the ϱ-meson-nucleon form factor and present results for the NN isovector tensor potential in comparison with empirical data.  相似文献

Isoscalar and isovector nuclear matter properties are investigated in the Skyrme Hartree-Fock (SHF) and the relativistic mean field (RMF) models. The Skyrme parameters are related analytically to the isoscalar and the isovector nuclear matter properties of the Hamiltonian density. Linear correlations are found among the isovector nuclear matter properties of the Hamiltonian density in both the SHF and the RMF models. We also discovered that the correlations between the isovector properties and the incompressibility K show a singularity at the critical incompressibility Kc=306 MeV. It is shown that the neutron skin thickness gives crucial information about not only for the neutron EOS but also about the isovector nuclear matter properties and about the parameterization of Skyrme interaction. Charge exchange spin-dipole (SD) excitations are proposed to determine the neutron skin thickness model independently.  相似文献

By deducing the equations of motion of extended Skyrme model, the spherically symmetric Skyrmion was numerically simulated. Linear correlations are found among the isovector nuclear matter properties in both the Skyrme-Hartree-Fock (SHF) and the relativistic mean-field (RMF) models. In addition, we found a kind of correlation between the isovector nuclear matter properties and the incompressibility in the SHF model. The Skyrme parameters are related analytically to nuclear matter properties with the Thomas—Fermi approximation. By using a linear correlation between the neutron skin thickness and the pressure of the neutron matter in the SHF model, we show that the neutron skin thickness of 208Pb gives crucial information about not only the neutron equation of state but also the isovector nuclear matter properties and the parametrization of Skyrme interaction. We show that in the nonrelativistic limit the two-pion exchange contribution to the nucleon-nucleon (NN) interaction can be well approximated by the twice iterated static pion-exchange potentials that couple the NN channel with the NΔ (1236 resonance) and ΔΔ channels. A phenomenological short (ω-meson) range potential is added to the pion-exchange potentials to study the NN phase shifts and the deuteron properties. The S- and P- state phase shifts can be well explained in this model with a very reasonable short-range interaction. The Δ-percentage in the deuteron is found to be ≈ 0.6%. Probably because of the nonrelativistic approximations, the D-state phase shifts at Elab > 100 MeV are not too well reproduced.  相似文献

The isovector meson exchange currents are investigated on the basis of the product ansatz in the Skyrme model. It is shown that the standard one-pion-exchange currents are correctly reproduced as a limiting approximation to more general expressions derived here. We discuss interesting consequences of the spatially extended structure of the nucleon, which is naturally incorporated in the present treatment. It is also pointed out that there exists a simple analytical relation between the isoscalar exchange current of the Skyrme model and the standard ρπγ exchange current.  相似文献

Single nucleon transfer and single charge exchange have been studied for quasi-elastic collisions of 48Ti and 42Ca at Elab = 240, 300 and 385 MeV. Specific features below 12 MeV excitation energy are displayed in all of the measured particle energy spectra for each channel. These have been accounted for in the case of nucleon transfer by a one-step direct transfer mechanism in which all of the available hole and bound particle states in the donor and acceptor nucleus, respectively, have been included. This core excitation model was extended to single charge exchange (SCX) two-step transfers in which a proton and a neutron are exchanged. The absolute magnitude and distribution of strength in the SCX channel was obtained. The contributions from direct charge exchange via the isovector parts of the NN interaction has also been investigated in a microscopic model and is found to contribute of the order of 1–5% to the charge exchange cross section. The distribution of Fermi and Gamow-Teller strength is discussed.  相似文献

Using the self-consistent Hartree-Fock calculation plus RPA with Skyrme interactions, the RPA quadrupole strength function is estimated in the coordinate space, including simulataneously both the isoscalar and the isovector correlation. We discuss the result of the isoscalar, the isovector and the electric quadrupole polarization of the Ca-isotopes from the proton drip line towards the neutron drip line. We study also the comparison of the polarizations in the A = 48 mirror nuclei, 2848Ni20 and 2048Ca28, and the dependence of the polarizations of 828O20 on various Skyrme interactions.  相似文献

A recent calculation of the nuclear energy density functional from chiral two- and three-nucleon forces is extended to the isovector terms pertaining to different proton and neutron densities. An improved density-matrix expansion is adapted to the situation of small isospin asymmetries and used to calculate in the Hartree-Fock approximation the density-dependent strength functions associated with the isovector terms. The two-body interaction comprises of long-range multi-pion exchange contributions and a set of contact terms contributing up to fourth power in momenta. In addition, the leading-order chiral three-nucleon interaction is employed with its parameters fixed in computations of nuclear few-body systems. With this input one finds for the asymmetry energy of nuclear matter the value A(?? 0) ? 26.5 MeV, compatible with existing semi-empirical determinations. The strength functions of the isovector surface and spin-orbit coupling terms come out much smaller than those of the analogous isoscalar coupling terms and in the relevant density range one finds agreement with phenomenological Skyrme forces. The specific isospin and density dependences arising from the chiral two- and three-nucleon interactions can be explored and tested in neutron-rich systems.  相似文献

Adiabatic potentials are calculated in a six-quark cluster model corresponding to having NN, ΔΔ and CC (hidden color) channel coupling. Color-dependent quark interactions are used that yield the N and Δ positive- and negative-parity resonances up to 2 GeV. Channel coupling is found to be large (especially with the CC state) and yields an effective NN potential having none of the characteristics of phenomenological potentials extracted from phase shifts.  相似文献

In the calculations, the well constrained Skyrme tensor interaction and isoscalar spin-triplet (IS) pairing interaction are included so that to study their effects on the half-lives. The effects of tensor interaction and IS pairing interaction on the half-lives are compared. The IS pairing interaction with strength similar to that of isovector (IV) one produces only a trivial effect in N ~82 nuclei, and N ~126 nuclei with big neutron excess. While the tensor interaction with presently constrained strengths produces an obvious effect.  相似文献

The isovector giant dipole resonance in Ca isotopes is investigated in the framework of the fully consistent relativistic random phase approximation.The calculations are performed in an effective Lagrangian with a parameter set NL3,which was proposed for satisfactorily describing nuclear ground state properties.It is found that a soft isovector dipole mode for Ca isotopes near drip lines exists at energy around 6-7MeV.The soft dipole states are mainly due to the excitation of the weakly bound and pure neutron (proton)states near Fermi surface as well as the correlation of isoscalar and isovector operators.For nuclei with the extreme value of N/Z,the contributions of isoscalar mesons in the isovector mode play a non-negligible role.  相似文献

The correlated proton-particle—neutron-hole spectrum is calculated for N > Z nuclei using a Skyrme type interaction and the response function method. The basis of the calculation is a complete one-particle—one-hole space with the continuum included. As a result the distribution of the isovector monopole strength in the analog nucleus is obtained. This distribution has a narrow peak which corresponds to the isobaric analog resonance and at higher energies a broad peak which is the isovector monopole resonance. The coupling between these two states is inherent in the calculation.  相似文献

We study the SU(2) × SU(2) Skyrme model with an explicit chiral breaking term. The new quantities that we evaluate are the pion-nucleon sigma term and the isovector charge radii, whose values come out in reasonable agreement with experiment. The other static properties of nucleons differ by a few percent from the corresponding values in the chiral limit.  相似文献

It is demonstrated that the G-matrix elements obtained from a solution of the Bethe-Goldstone equation for finite nuclei and a given NN interaction can be very well approximated by an effective local interaction. The local approximation is determined from the reaction matrix in nuclear matter using the same realistic NN interaction. The comparison is performed on the level of RPA calculations for the excited states in 16O. Very good agreement is found between the results for both interactions except for scalar-isoscalar states. It is shown that this is due to the energy dependence of the reaction matrix and can be cured rather easily. A comparison with experiment for isovector states is very satisfactory.  相似文献
