It was found that ZnO nanocrystals have photocatalytic activity in the formation of CdS during the reduction of sulfur in the presence of cadmium acetate. It was shown that mesoporous spheres measuring 150–170 nm and consisting of CdS/ZnO particles measuring 5–8 nm are formed during the irradiation of ZnO particles measuring 5.5 nm. During the photodeposition of CdS by the action of light on nanorods produced by ultrasonic treatment of microcrystalline zinc oxide nanotubes of CdS 0.5–0.8 μm in length and 15–110 nm in internal diameter are formed. A mechanism, in which they appear at the ends of the ZnO nanorods and grow on the surface of the CdS/ZnO heterojunction, is proposed for the formation of the CdS nanotubes. __________ Translated from Teoreticheskaya i éksperimental’naya Khimiya, Vol. 43, No. 4, pp. 215–219, July–August, 2007.  相似文献

We reported controllable synthesis of CdS nanocrystal-polymer transparent hybrids by using polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) as a polymer matrix. In a typical run, the appropriate amounts of cadmium chloride (CdCl2) and sodium sulfide (Na2S) in the presence of 2-mercaptoethanol (ME) as the organic ligand are well dispersed in H2O/DMF solution without any aggregation. From a combination of transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and a computing method of Brus’s model according UV-vis absorption spectra, the particle size of as-prepared hydroxyl-coated CdS nanocrystal was determined to be about 5 nm. Then, with the surface treatment with methacryloxypropyltrimethoxysilane (MPS), CdS-PMMA hybrids were obtained via free radical polymerization in situ. FT-IR characterization indicates the formation of robust bonding between CdS nanocrystals and the organic ligand and the formation of double-bond functional CdS nanocrystals. The TGA measurement displays CdS-PMMA hybrids possess better thermal stability compared with pure PMMA polymer. The fluorescence measurement shows that CdS nanocrystals and CdS-PMMA hybrids exhibit good optical properties. Also, the luminescent photographs taken under ultraviolet light prove the luminescence properties.  相似文献

The recombination dynamics of zinc-blende-type, deep-red emitting CdTe/CdS core-shell nanocrystals is studied over a wide temperature range. Two characteristic decay regimes are found: a temperature-dependent decay component of a few nanoseconds and a long-living temperature-independent component of approximately 315 ns. The average decay time of the exciton states changes from 20 to 5ns when the temperature is increased from 15 to 295 K. At low temperatures, the observed decay behavior is assigned to thermally induced population and decay of the allowed exchange-split exciton states. At temperatures above T>100 K, nonradiative decay channels involving phonons start to contribute to the exciton recombination. The observed broad distribution in decay times, monitored by stretched exponential fitting functions, we explain by variations in the electron-hole overlap caused by a partly incomplete CdTe/CdS core-shell structure and the nearly energy-degenerated bright and dark state superposition.  相似文献

Ga2O3催化剂上CO2气氛中丙烷脱氢反应的研究   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
考察了Ga2O3对于丙烷脱氢和CO2气氛脱氢反应的催化性能.结果表明,Ga2O3具有较高的催化活性,其性能优于传统的Cr2O3脱氢催化剂.催化反应可能经过了一个丙烷异裂的过程,其中CO2是通过逆水煤气反应和Boudouard反应来促进催化剂性能的,在高于823K时该促进作用更为明显.催化剂的催化活性和其表面酸密度密切相关,在Ga2O3结构中,四配位Ga3+是其酸位的来源,并通过质子与氧化物的共同作用促进反应进行.催化剂的失活是由于表面的积碳和活性氧的消耗共同造成的.同时还对Ga2O3作为丙烷脱氢反应的催化剂的催化反应机理进行了初步探讨.  相似文献

We demonstrate the self-organization of CdSe nanorods into nematic, smectic, and crystalline solids. Layered colloidal crystals of CdSe nanorods grow by slow destabilization of a nanocrystal solution upon allowing the diffusion of a nonsolvent into the colloidal solution of nanocrystals. The colloidal crystals of nanorods show characteristic birefringence, which we assign to specific spherulite-like texture of each nanorod assembly. To demonstrate the general character of nanorod self-assembly technique, CdSe/CdS heterostructure nanorods were organized into highly luminescent superlattices.  相似文献

We have shown that CdSe/CdS nanocomposites can be obtained in a photocatalytic reaction with participation of CdS nanoparticles from sodium selenosulfate. One-dimensional ZnO/CdS core/shell nanocomposite was successfully synthesized by a hydrothermal method utilizing ZnO nanorods, sulfur powder and cadmium salts as precursors. The influence of experimental parameters, such as cadmium precursors, concentration, and reaction temperature on the formation of such core/shell structures was examined. The photoluminescence characterization data of ZnO/CdS suggested that the photogenerated electron transferred from the conduction band of CdS to the conduction band of ZnO and leaded to the blue shift of band-to-band transition (Burstein-Moss effect). Radial-position-controlled doping in CdS/ZnS core/shell nanocrystals   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2  
In this paper, we report a new doping approach using a three-step synthesis to make high-quality Mn-doped CdS/ZnS core/shell nanocrystals. This approach allows precise control of the Mn radial position and doping level in the core/shell nanocrystals. On the basis of this synthetic advance, we have demonstrated the first example in which optical properties of Mn-doped nanocrystals strongly depend on Mn radial positions inside the nanocrystals. In addition, we have synthesized nanocrystals with a room-temperature Mn-emission quantum yield of 56%, which is nearly twice as high as that of the best Mn-doped nanocrystals reported previously. Nanocrystals with such a high-emission quantum yield are very important to applications such as nanocrystal-based biomedical diagnosis.  相似文献

CdS/PMMA nano-composites at different weight percent of CdS (0, 2, 4, 6, and 8) have been prepared using solution casting method. The obtained nano-composites are characterized through the transmission electron microscope (TEM). The differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) measurements have been done on the nano-composites at different heating rates. The peak glass transition temperature is determined using the DSC thermograms. It is found that the glass transition temperature increases with the increase of CdS content up to 6 wt% and then decreases for higher weight percent (8). It is explained on the basis of molecular motion of PMMA, which is restricted when CdS is added into PMMA. An effort is also made to study the activation energy of glass transition in the case of nano-composites of different weight percent of CdS. Variation of activation energy with CdS nano-particle concentration has also been theoretically predicted by using an empirical relation. Thermal stability of these nano-composites has been explained with the help of activation energy in the glassy region.  相似文献

以巯基乙醇为修饰剂,在水溶液中合成了稳定的CdSe/CdS纳米晶,应用单因素法和多目标单纯形法探索合成条件。通过透射电镜观察所合成的纳米晶的形貌和大小,用紫外-可见吸收光谱和荧光光谱对其光学特性进行了表征。并且以L-色氨酸荧光量子产率0.14为标准,测量了合成的CdSe/CdS纳米晶的荧光量子产率为0.37。  相似文献

In the study,we observed the strong adsorption of CdTe/CdS QDs to antibodies and the formation of QDs-antibodies conjugates. Capillary electrophoresis with laser-induced fluorescence detection(CE-LIF),fluorescence spectrometry and fluorescence correlation spectroscopy(FCS) were used to characterize the QDs conjugates with antibody.We found that the QDs-antibody conjugates possessed high fluorescence,small hydrodynamic radii and good stability in aqueous solution.  相似文献
