An efficient synthesis of bioactive chiral flavanones (1) was achieved through the Rh-catalyzed asymmetric 1,4-addition of arylboronic acid to chromone. The reaction in toluene proceeded smoothly at room temperature in the presence of 0.5% Rh catalyst with electron-poor chiral diphosphine MeO-F(12)-BIPHEP. In this reaction, the 1,2-addition to (S)-1 frequently occurred to yield (2S,4R)-2,4-diaryl-4-chromanol as a byproduct, which could be reduced by changing the reaction solvent to CH(2)Cl(2) to deactivate the Rh catalyst (3% required).  相似文献

Reaction of [M(CH2SiMe3)3(THF)2] (M = Sc or Y) with the neutral fac-kappa3 N3 donor ligands (L) Me3[9]aneN3 or HC(Me2pz)3 gave the corresponding trialkyls [M(L)(CH2SiMe3)3]; activation of the scandium congeners with B(C6F5)3 in the presence of ethylene afforded highly active polymerisation catalysts (Me3[9]aneN3 = 1,4,7-trimethyltriazacyclononane).  相似文献

A rapid and efficient procedure for the preparation of 5-benzyl-3-aminoindazoles 1 is reported. Key intermediates are fluoro-cyano diarylmethanes 2 which have been obtained by two different synthetic approaches. Electronic structure calculations using various methods, up to the coupled-cluster CCSD(T) level, in conjunction with the aug-cc-pVnZ basis sets with n = D, T, and Q, extrapolated to the complete basis set limit, show that the borane molecule (BH3) can act as an efficient bifunctional acid-base catalyst in the H2 elimination reactions of XHnYHn systems (X, Y = C, B, N). Such a catalyst is needed as the generation of H2 from isoelectronic ethane and borane amine compounds proceeds with an energy barrier much higher than that of the X-Y bond energy. The asymptotic energy barrier for H2 release is reduced from 36.4 kcal/mol in BH3NH3 to 6.0 kcal/mol with the presence of BH3 relative to the molecular asymptote. The NH3 molecule can also participate in a similar catalytic process but induces a smaller reduction of the energy barrier. The kinetics of these processes was analyzed by both transition-state and RRKM theory. The catalytic effect of BH3 has also been probed by an analysis of the electronic densities of the transition structures using the atom-in-molecule (AIM) and electron localization function (ELF) approaches.  相似文献

H2S is a well-known toxic gas and also a gaseous signaling molecule involved in many biological processes. Advanced chemical tools that can regulate H2S levels in vivo are useful for understanding H2S biology as well as its potential therapeutic effects. To this end, we have developed a series of 7-nitro-1,2,3-benzoxadiazole (NBD) amines as potential H2S scavengers. The kinetic studies of thiolysis reactions revealed that incorporation of positively-charged groups onto the NBD amines greatly increased the rate of the H2S-specific thiolysis reaction. We demonstrate that these reactions proceed effectively, with second order rate constants (k2) of >116 M−1 s−1 at 37 °C for NBD-S8. Additionally, we demonstrate that NBD-S8 can effectively scavenge enzymatically-produced and endogenous H2S in live cells. Furthering the biological significance, we demonstrate NBD-S8 mediates scavenging of H2S in mice.

We demonstrate that positively-charged NBD amines can effectively scavenge biological H2S in live cells and in mice.  相似文献

A highly efficient synthesis of 2-amino-N-substituted-benzamides was performed by the condensation of isatoic anhydride with several amines in solvent-free conditions under microwave irradiation. H-Y-zeolites induced heterocyclization of these products with ortho-esters under similar conditions afforded the relevant substituted-quinazolin-4(3H)ones in high yields.  相似文献

The heats of formation of N(2)H, diazene (cis- and trans-N(2)H(2)), N(2)H(3), and hydrazine (N(2)H(4)), as well as their protonated species (diazenium, N(2)H(3)(+), and hydrazinium, N(2)H(5)(+)), have been calculated by using high level electronic structure theory. Energies were calculated by using coupled cluster theory with a perturbative treatment of the triple excitations (CCSD(T)) and employing augmented correlation consistent basis sets (aug-cc-pVnZ) up to quintuple-zeta, to perform a complete basis set extrapolation for the energy. Geometries were optimized at the CCSD(T) level with the aug-cc-pVDZ and aug-cc-pVTZ basis sets. Core-valence and scalar relativistic corrections were included, as well as scaled zero point energies. We find the following heats of formation (kcal/mol) at 0 (298) K: DeltaH(f)(N(2)H) = 60.8 (60.1); DeltaH(f)(cis-N(2)H(2)) = 54.9 (53.2); DeltaH(f)(trans-N(2)H(2)) = 49.9 (48.1) versus >/=48.8 +/- 0.5 (exptl, 0 K); DeltaH(f)(N(2)H(4)) = 26.6 (23.1) versus 22.8 +/- 0.2 (exptl, 298 K); DeltaH(f)(N(2)H(3)) = 56.2 (53.6); DeltaH(f)(N(2)H(3)(+)) = 231.6 (228.9); and DeltaH(f)(N(2)H(5)(+)) = 187.1 (182.7). In addition, we calculated the heats of formation of CH(3)NH(2), CH(3)NNH, and CH(3)HNNHCH(3) by using isodesmic reactions and at the G3(MP2) level. The calculated results for the hydrogenation reaction RNNR + H(2) --> RHNNHR show that substitution of an organic substituent for H improved the energetics, suggesting that these types of compounds may be possible to use in a chemical hydrogen storage system.  相似文献

Anab initio study of the electronic structure of several 22-electrons molecules is presented. The equilibrium geometries of their ground state are calculated at the SCF level using the 6–31G basis set and are found to be in good agreement with the experimental geometries. The dissociation process of these molecules leading to the isoelectronic products CO or N2 on the one hand and BH3, CH2, NH and O on the other hand is studied. The least-energy dissociation paths of the ground states determined at the SCF level are compared on the basis of electron density interactions. The dissociation energies corresponding to the two lowest dissociation channels are calculated. In these calculations, the correlation energy is taken into account using a non-variational method developed previously. The calculated values of dissociation energies are in good agreement with the existing experimental values. The results permit to predict values for HNCO, BH3CO and CH2N2 and to confirm the instability of BH3N2.Aspirant du Fonds National Belge de la Recherche Scientifique.  相似文献

Ab initio computations have been performed on the compounds AlH2BH4 and AlH2C3H5 in order to achieve a better understanding of the peculiar characteristics of the metal to ligand bond. Our results suggest a bidentate coordination for the tetrahydroborate complex and an η3 coordination for the allyl complex. Due to the nonrigidity of the BH and allyl complexes, possible interconversion paths between different coordination modes have also been analyzed.  相似文献

The thermochemistry of the formation of Lewis base adducts of BH(3) in tetrahydrofuran (THF) solution and the gas phase and the kinetics of substitution on ammonia borane by triethylamine are reported. The dative bond energy of Lewis adducts were predicted using density functional theory at the B3LYP/DZVP2 and B3LYP/6-311+G** levels and correlated ab initio molecular orbital theories, including MP2, G3(MP2), and G3(MP2)B3LYP, and compared with available experimental data and accurate CCSD(T)/CBS theory results. The analysis showed that the G3 methods using either the MP2 or the B3LYP geometries reproduce the benchmark results usually to within ~1 kcal/mol. Energies calculated at the MP2/aug-cc-pVTZ level for geometries optimized at the B3LYP/DZVP2 or B3LYP/6-311+G** levels give dative bond energies 2-4 kcal/mol larger than benchmark values. The enthalpies for forming adducts in THF were determined by calorimetry and compared with the calculated energies for the gas phase reaction: THFBH(3) + L → LBH(3) + THF. The formation of NH(3)BH(3) in THF was observed to yield significantly more heat than gas phase dative bond energies predict, consistent with strong solvation of NH(3)BH(3). Substitution of NEt(3) on NH(3)BH(3) is an equilibrium process in THF solution (K ≈ 0.2 at 25 °C). The reaction obeys a reversible bimolecular kinetic rate law with the Arrhenius parameters: log A = 14.7 ± 1.1 and E(a) = 28.1 ± 1.5 kcal/mol. Simulation of the mechanism using the SM8 continuum solvation model shows the reaction most likely proceeds primarily by a classical S(N)2 mechanism.  相似文献
