In this paper, we discuss FI-extending property of rings and modules. The main results are the following： a characterization of von Neumann regular rings which are two-sided FI-extending is given; sufficient conditions for direct summands of FI-extending modules to be FI-extending are obtained; and at last, a necessary and sufficient condition for nonsingular modules over nonsingular rings to be FI-extending is given.     

Higher Level Orderings on Modules

The aim of this paper is to investigate higher level orderings on modules over commutative rings. On the basis of the theory of higher level orderings on fields and commutative rings, some results involving existence of higher level orderings are generalized to the category of modules over commutative rings. Moreover, a strict intersection theorem for higher level orderings on modules is established.     

Imaginary Modules over the Affine Nappi–Witten Algebra

In this paper,we consider the imaginary highest weight modules and the imaginary Whittaker modules for the affine Nappi-Witten algebra.We show that simple singular imaginary Whittaker modules at level(κ、c)(κ∈C~*) are simple imaginary highest weight modules.The necessary and sufficient conditions for these imaginary modules to be simple are given.All simple imaginary modules are classified.

On the Category of Koszul Modules of Complexity One of an Exterior Algebra

In this paper, we prove that there is a natural equivalence between the category F1（x） of Koszul modules of complexity 1 with filtration of given cyclic modules as the factor modules of an exterior algebra A = ∧V of an m-dimensional vector space, and the category of the finite-dimensional locally nilpotent modules of the polynomial algebra of m - 1 variables.     

A Generalization of Gorenstein Injective and Flat Mo dules

In this article, we introduce and study the concept of n-Gorenstein injective(resp., n-Gorenstein flat) modules as a nontrivial generalization of Gorenstein injective(resp., Gorenstein flat) modules. We investigate the properties of these modules in various ways. For example, we show that the class of n-Gorenstein injective(resp., n-Gorenstein flat) modules is closed under direct sums and direct products for n ≥ 2. To this end, we first introduce and study the notions of n-injective modules and n-flat modules.     

Constructing irreducible integrable modules for extended baby TKK algebra

In this paper, we give explicit realizations for the irreducible integrable modules, which were clas- sified in Chang and Tan [Pacific J Math, 2011, 252: 293-312], of the extended baby TKK algebra. Moreover, conditions for these modules to be unitary are determined.     

Essentially normal Hilbert modules and K-homology IV: Quasi-homogenous quotient modules of Hardy module on the polydisks

In this paper,we give a complete characterization for the essential normality of quasi-homogenous quotient modules of the Hardy modules H2 (D2).Also,we show that if d 3,then all the principle homogenous quotient modules of H 2 (Dd) are not essentially normal.

In this paper, we generalize flat modules, regular rings and V- rings to the situation of a hereditary torsion theory, that a ring R is regular if and only if R is a left nonsingular ring and for every essential left ideal o of R, and for eve ry element a∈o there exists a element a′∈o , such that a= aa′. Twisted Whittaker modules over Uq(gln+1)

As is well known, the classical nonsingular Whittaker modules over quantum groups cannot be defined for the non-A1 type. In this paper, by choosing different generators for the quantum group U_q(gl_n+1),we introduce and study the twisted Whittaker modules over U_q(gl_n+1). We classify all the simple twisted Whittaker modules with nonsingular Whittaker functions. This agrees with Kostant’s results on Whittaker modules for the simple complex Lie algebras sl<...

In this paper, we give the equivalent characterizations of principally quasi-Baer modules, and show that any direct summand of a principally quasi-Baer module inherits the property and any finite direct sum of mutually subisomorphic principally quasi-Baer modules is also principally quasi-Baer. Moreover, we prove that left principally quasi-Baer rings have Morita invariant property. Connections between Richart modules and principally quasi-Baer modules are investigated.

In this paper, we classify the simple uniformly bounded weight modules for the vector field Lie algebra W∞ of infinite rank. It turns out that any such modules are intermediate series modules. This result is very different from the vector field Lie algebra Wd of finite rank.

In this paper we first prove the PBW theorem for reduced universal enveloping algebras of restricted Lie superalgebras. Then the notion of an induced module is introduced and the dimension formula of induced modules is established. Finally, using the results above, we obtain a property of induced modules pertaining to automorphisms of Lie superalgebras and isomorphisms of modules.

In this paper, let m, n be two fixed positive integers and M be a right R-module, we define （m, n）-M-flat modules and （m, n）-coherent modules. A right R-module F is called （m, n）-M-flat if every homomorphism from an （n, m）-presented right R-module into F factors through a module in addM. A left S-module M is called an （m, n）-coherent module if MR is finitely presented, and for any （n, m）-presented right R-module K, Hom（K, M） is a finitely generated left S-module, where S = End（MR）. We mainly characterize （m, n）-coherent modules in terms of preenvelopes （which are monomorphism or epimorphism） of modules. Some properties of （m, n）-coherent rings and coherent rings are obtained as corollaries.     

COMPLETE LIE ALGEBRAS WITH ι－STEP NILPOTENT RADICALS

The authors first give a necessary and sufficient condition for some solvable Lie algebras with ι-step nilpotent radicals to be complete, and then construct a new class of infinite dimensional complete Lie algebras by using the modules of simple Lie algebras. The quotient algebras of this new constructed Lie algebras are non-solvable complete Lie algebras with ι-step nilpotent radicals.     

A Characterization of Continuous Module Homomorphisms on Random Semi—Normed Modules and Its Applications

In this paper,a characterization of continuous module homomorphisms on random seminormed modules is first given;then the characterization is further used to show that the Hahn-Banach type of extension theorem is still true for continuous module homomorphisms on random semi-normed modules.     

Essentially normal Hilbert modules and K-homology Ⅲ:Homogenous quotient modules of Hardy modules on the bidisk

In this paper, we study the homogenous quotient modules of the Hardy module on the bidisk. The essential normality of the homogenous quotient modules is completely characterized. We also describe the essential spectrum for a general quotient module. The paper also considers K-homology invariant defined in the case of the homogenous quotient modules on the bidisk.     

TORSION THEORIES AND PRIMARY DECOMPOSITION OF MODULES

In this paper,the author obtains the following result:If R is a left semi-artinian maxring,then the primary decomposition theorem holds for all R-modules if and only if Ext(S_1,S_2)=0 for any non-isomorphic simple modules S_1 and S_2.By mecns of the primarydecomposition of modules,the author proves:All torsion theories of ~Bμ are simple type ifand only if R isa left semi-artinian max ring and Ext(S_1,S_2)=0 for any non-isomorphicsimple modules S_1,S_2.     

THE P-COTORSION DIMENSIONS OF MODULES AND RINGS

Let R be a ring. We define a dimension, called P-cotorsion dimension, for modules and rings. The aim of this article is to investigate P-cotorsion dimensions of modules and rings and the relations between P-cotorsion dimension and other homological dimensions. This dimension has nice properties when the ring in consideration is generalized morphic.     

Some remarks on projective generators and injective cogenerators

In this paper,we give a relationship between projective generators(resp.,injective cogenerators) in the category of R-modules and the counterparts in the category of complexes of R-modules.As a consequence,we get that complexes of W-Gorenstein modules are actually W-Gorenstein complexes whenever W is a subcategory of R-modules satisfying W⊥W,where W is the subcategory of exact complexes with all cycles in W.We also study when all cycles of a W-Gorenstein complexes are W-Gorenstein modules.
