Angular distributions of the vector analysing power and the cross section were measured for 90Zr(d, p)91Zr. Measurements were made on two transitions at a deuteron energy of 11 MeV and on 20 transitions at 12 MeV. The observed j-dependence of the vector analysing power provided unambiguous spin assignments for most final states. Measurements of the cross section and vector analysing power were also made for deuteron elastic scattering at 11 MeV in order to determine the potential parameters for DWBA calculations. The DWBA predictions are in good agreement with the measured (d, p) cross sections and in qualitative agreement with the analysing powers. Enriched targets.  相似文献

Detailed angular distributions for the elastic and inelastic scattering of 7Li at E = 36, 42, and 48 MeV and of 6Li at E = 38, 44, and 50 MeV by 54Fe have been measured. It is not possible to describe both sets of data with the same set of optical-model parameters. The ratio of UW is 0.8 for 7Li and 1.4 for 6Li at the strong absorption radius, implying stronger absorption for 7Li than for 6Li. No energy dependence in the optical-model parameters was necessary for either 6Li or 7Li. The inelastic scattering from the 54Fe 2+, 1.41 MeV state was well described by the DWBA and the extracted deformation length (βR = 0.62) was the same for both 6Li and 7Li scattering. It was not possible to describe the 7Li projectile excitation data with collective-model DWBA calculations showing that more detailed calculations for the projectile excitation are necessary.  相似文献

The elastic and inelastic scattering of 15 MeV polarized deuterons from 48Ca, 63Cu, 88Sr, 90Zr, 92Zr, and 92Mo has been investigated. Angular distributions of the cross section and vector analyzing power iT11 have been measured for all these nuclei; the tensor analyzing powers T20 and T22 have been studied for 92Zr. Cross sections and vector analyzing powers are generally well explained by the optical model for elastic scattering and by the DWBA with a macroscopic form factor for the inelastic scattering; this is consistent with previous work. Distributions for 48Ca, however, are poorly fitted. Anomalous behavior of the N = 50 nuclei found in the inelastic scattering of polarized protons is not present for deuterons. Tensor analyzing powers are not well explained by standard procedures: use of approximate folding model optical parameters did not improve the fits. The distribution of iT11 for the 12? state in 63Cu is significantly different from the distributions for the 52? and 72? states.  相似文献

Differential cross sections and vector analyzing powers were measured for the 91Zr(d, d)91Zr and 91Zr(d, p)92Zr reactions at an incident deuteron energy of 12 MeV. Deuteron optical-model parameters were determined from an analysis of the elastic data. Comparison of the proton data to DWBA predictions showed that the DWBA does not quantitatively reproduce the measured analyzing powers, hence empirical analyzing power calibration curves were required to analyze the data. New spectroscopic information about the configurations of the excited states in 92Zr has been determined and is compared to the results of previous experiments as well as a shell-model calculation. The results of this experiment are in quantitative agreement with the predictions of the shell-model calculation for most of the transitions although some discrepancies do exist.  相似文献

The 13C(6Li, t)16O reaction has been studied at 34 MeV. Selective population of narrow states is observed up to 21 MeV excitation in 16O. This reaction populates strongly both unnatural-and natural-parity states that have little or no 12C + α0 width. The measured angular distributions are compared with Hauser-Feshbach and finite-range DWBA calculations. Reasonable agreement with the DWBA calculations is found for most of the states strongly populated. The widths of the narrow states populated in the 16–20 MeV excitation region are presented. Comparison of the present data with that from medium-energy inelastic scattering and other multiparticle transfer reactions is made.  相似文献

Angular distributions of cross sections [α(θ)] and vector analyzing powers [iT11(γ)] have been measured for seven low-lying states or groups of states excited by the 48Ca(d, t)47Ca reaction with 13.5 MeV deuterons and analyzed by the DWBA. On the basis of comparison of vector analyzing powers with DWBA calculations, spin-parity assignments have been made or confirmed for several states. Spectroscopic factors have been extracted. Angular distributions for weak states at 3.30 and 3.57 MeV excitation in 47Ca could not be reproduced by DWBA calculations. Investigations of compound nucleus and multi-step contributions to the cross sections and analyzing powers for these states have been made by means of Hauser-Feshbach and CCBA calculations. Optical model parameters were obtained from analysis of 13.5 MeV deuteron elastic scattering cross sections and analyzing powers.  相似文献

Angular distributions have been measured for transitions to low-lying states in 143Pm and 145Eu populated by the 142Nd(7Li, 6He)143 and the 144Sm(7Li, 6He)145Eu reactions at E(7Li) = 52 MeV. Elastic scattering of 7Li at 52 MeV on 142Nd and 144Sm, and 6Li at 46 MeV on 142Nd and at 45 MeV on 144Sm, were measured. Optical-model parameters extracted from fits to the scattering data were used in a finite-range DWBA analysis of the angular distributions for levels below 1.40 MeV excitation energy in 143Pm and 1.84 MeV in 145Eu. The reaction cross sections forward of 6° c.m. allow unambiguous distinction to be made between 2d52 and 2d32 final states. Final-state spins have been assigned to d-states in 143Pm at 1.40 MeV(32+)and in 145Eu at 1.042 MeV (32+). Existing assignments to other levels in both residual nuclei have been confirmed.  相似文献

Particle-gamma angular correlations for states populated in the 52Cr(d, p) reaction have been measured. States in 53Cr for which data are presented are the 52?, 1.01 MeV, the 72?, 1.29 MeV, the 72?, 1.54 MeV, and the 32?, 2.32 MeV levels. The DWBA is found to give a good representation of the data for strongly populated levels when the particle detector is located near the stripping peak. The data for the 1.29 MeV level confirm the previously suggested particle-excited core wave function.  相似文献

The energy spectra of 6He nuclei from the 90Zr(6Li, 6He) reaction at E6Li = 93 MeV have been measured over the angular range of 7 ° ? θlab ? 20 °. The theoretical DWBA analysis of these spectra and angular distributions was performed employing transition densities of bound and resonance states obtained on the basis of the theory of finite Fermi systems. It is shown that up to excitation energies of Ex ≈ 10 MeV in 90Nb a direct charge-exchange mechanism dominates in this reaction, while at higher Ex the contribution made by multistep processes increases significantly. It is also shown that the quasi-elastic cross section is determined by a sum of partial contributions of spin-isospin-flip transitions with multipolarities L=0 through L=6.  相似文献

The analyzing power of neutron continuum spectrum for the 93Nb(→p, nX) reaction at 65 MeV was measured for a wide angular range ?n = 20° – 130°. The analyzing powers are positive and large at large angles ?n > 40°. The characteristic features in the analyzing power for the 93Nb(→p, nX) reaction are very similar to those for the 93Nb(→p, p'X) reaction indicating the importance of a common reaction mechanism for both reactions. A DWBA calculation was performed and compared with the data. The calculation for EX = 14 MeV reproduced the cross sections but failed to reproduce the analyzing powers.  相似文献

Angular distributions for the (7Li, 6Li) reaction on 28Si and 40Ca to ground and excited states of 29Si and 41Ca have been measured at E(7Li) = 45 MeV. The shapes of the angular distributions are well described by exact finite-range DWBA calculations. To test the sensitivity of the calculated angular distributions to the exit channel potential, calculations were made using a strongly absorbing 7Li potential for both the entrance and exit channels. This calculation produced as good a fit to the shape of the angular distributions as did calculations with a 6Li potential in the exit channel, even though 7Li and 6Li elastic scattering on these target nuclei are not very similar. However, the magnitudes of the calculated cross sections are sensitive to the choice of potentials, and agreement with light-ion spectroscopic factors is obtained when the more weakly absorbing 6Li potentials are used. The spectroscopic factors obtained from the 40Ca(7Li, 6Li) reaction study are in good agreement with the extensive light-ion results showing that the absolute magnitude of the reaction is correctly predicted by exact finite-range DWBA calculations that use optical parameters determined from elastic-scattering data.  相似文献

The (p, t) reaction on the nuclei 134, 136, 138Ba has been studied at a bombarding energy of 52 MeV. Angular distributions of emitted tritons were obtained between 6° and 60°. The following six negative-parity states were strongly excited by the (p, t) reaction: 5?(2.121 MeV) and 7?(2.482 MeV) in 132Ba, 5?(1.998 MeV) and 7?(2.274 MeV) in 134Ba, and 5?(2.139 MeV) and 7?(2.031 MeV) in 136Ba. DWBA calculations using the code DWUCK successfully reproduce these angular distributions. The 0+ assignment to the 1.761 MeV level in 134Ba is confirmed. Intensities of the (p, t) reaction for low-lying states are discussed.  相似文献

Cross section angular distributions of60Ni(16O,12C)64Zn reactions leading to three strongly excited states at 60 MeV incident energy and the16O+60Ni and12C+64Zn elastic scattering at 60 MeV respectively 45 MeV and 54 MeV have been measured using aQ3D magnetic spectrograph. EFR-DWBA calculations assuming the transfer of anα-cluster in its 0s ground state are able to describe the general features of the strongly oscillating experimental angular distributions using a surface transparent optical model potential. The optical model parameters used in the DWBA calculations are obtained from fits of the elastic scattering data of incident and exit channels. The importance of “correct” optical model parameters in the exit channels for relative spectroscopic factors will be discussed and the extracted relative spectroscopic factors will be compared to previous (6Li,d) results.  相似文献

The tensor analysing powers T20 and T22 of(d, p) reactions leading to several states of the final nuclei 29Si, 68Zn, 91Zr and 209Pb were measured at 12.3 MeV deuteron beam energy. The measured tensor analysing powers together with the vector analysing power and cross-section data are compared with DWBA calculations with and without the deuteron D-state. The D-state effects and j-dependence of the tensor analysing powers are discussed. The spin transfers involved in populating the 1.08, 1.88 and 3.30 MeV states in 68Zn in the 67Zn(d, p)68Zn reaction are deduced to be predominantly 12?. This implies an assignment for the 3.287 MeV level of 68Zn of Jπ = 2+.  相似文献

Measurements of both the analyzing power and cross section were made for the (p, α) reactions on 58,60,62Ni at an incident energy of 22 MeV. Data were taken for the strongly populated proton-hole states (0f72, 1s12 and 0d32) in the residual cobalt isotopes and for 8 weakly populated low-lying states in 55Co and 59Co. Angular distributions were taken between θlab = 10° and 140° for the ground state and θlab = 10° and 80° for the excited states. Both the cross sections and analyzing powers exhibit a similar angular distribution for states having the same Jπ values except in the transition to the 32? state in 59Co at 1.099 MeV. Using the observed J-dependence of the analyzing power, the unknown Jπ values for the states at 2.982 MeV in 55Co and 3.090 MeV in 59Co are assigned to be 92?. The shapes of the differential cross sections were well reproduced by the zero-range DWBA calculations using a triton-cluster form factor. However, all the measured analyzing powers could not be reproduced within the framework of such a simple DWBA calculation.  相似文献

The 206Pb(p, α)203Tl and 204Pb(p, α)201Tl reactions have been studied using 35 MeV protons. For both 203Tl and 201Tl approximately 50 levels with excitation energies up to 4.0 MeV were identified and angular distributions of most of these states were measured. Cluster-model DWBA calculations were shown to produce excellent fits to the measured angular distributions. Using these calculations high-spin (j ≧ 152) states were found in both nuclei. The strengths, energies, and number of high-spin states excited in 201Tl and 203Tl are compared with those observed in 205Tl in a previous study.  相似文献

The (6Li, 7Be) and (6Li, 7Li) reactions on 6Li and 7Li nuclei were investigated in the angular interval 0°–20° in the laboratory system at a 6Li energy of 93 MeV. In addition to low-lying states of the 5,6He and 5,6Li nuclei, broad structures were observed near the t(3He)+d and t(3He)+t thresholds at the excitation energies of 16.75 (3/2+) and ~20 MeV (for 5He), 16.66 (3/2+) and ~20 MeV (5Li), 14.0 and 25 MeV (6He), and ~20 MeV (6Li). The angular distributions measured in the 7Li(6Li, 7Be)6He reaction for transitions to the ground state (0+) and excited states at E x=1.8 MeV (2+) and 14.0 MeV of the 6He nucleus were analyzed by the finite-range distorted-wave method assuming the 1p-and 1s-proton pickup mechanism. The (6Li, 7Be) and (6Li, 7Li) reactions were shown to proceed predominantly through the one-step pickup mechanism, and the broad structures observed at high excitation energies are considered as quasimolecular states of the t(3He)+d and t(3He)+t types.  相似文献

The 27Al(α, t) and (α, 3He) reactions have been measured at Eα = 64.5 MeV. The experimental angular distributions were analyzed by the exact finite-range DWBA calculations assuming a nucleon stripping mechanism. The distributions of spectroscopic strengths for the single-particle transitions with transferred angular momenta l = 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4 have been obtained. The strengths for the transitions to the stretched 6? states in 28Si and 28Al are compared to those obtained from inelastic scattering on 28Si. The present results show no distinctive differences in the structures for 6?T = 0 and 1 states in 28Si such as are observed in proton and pion inelastic scattering on 28Si.  相似文献
