基于子模型法的带有表面裂纹钢丝应力强度因子研究   总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0  
钢丝裂纹应力强度因子是进行钢丝疲劳断裂寿命评估、疲劳裂纹扩展分析和钢丝断裂强度评估等工作的重要参数。本文首先介绍了裂纹扩展分析软件FRANC3D,然后基于子模型法模拟研究了拉伸荷载作用下带有表面裂纹钢丝的应力强度因子,裂纹种类包括直线形裂纹和半圆形裂纹,最后拟合得到拉伸荷载作用下带表面裂纹钢丝的应力强度因子形状修正系数表达式,分析了利用该公式进行承载力评估时产生误差的原因。研究结果表明,利用子模型模拟分析拉伸荷载作用下带有表面裂纹的钢丝应力强度因子时计算精度高,计算速度快,对计算机硬件要求低;利用该方法得到的钢丝裂纹应力强度因子,在进行索承式桥梁吊索安全性能评估时,评估结果更精确。  相似文献

核电蒸汽发生器传热管在微幅磨损与交变载荷的作用下形成微动疲劳,导致其表面裂纹萌生和扩展乃至破裂,从而影响反应堆的安全. 为研究径向载荷以及轴向交变应力对690合金管微动疲劳寿命的影响规律,开展690合金管管材的微动疲劳试验,获得690合金管管材的微动疲劳寿命曲线,并与相关研究数据进行对比分析,以便探讨材料在微动疲劳下的寿命模型. 对不同载荷下的690合金管试样的磨痕表面进行三维形貌和扫描电镜观测,分析磨损表面的损伤机理;对不同载荷下的690合金管试样断口的宏观与微观形貌进行表征,分析裂纹萌生、起裂过程及其失效机理. 结果表明690合金管与403不锈钢(SS)抗振条间的磨损机理为剥层及磨粒磨损;690合金管在径向载荷作用下于微动磨损处产生裂纹源,裂纹在轴向交变应力的作用下不断向内部扩展,最终导致断裂;其断裂形式为解理疲劳断裂.   相似文献

钢框架梁柱节点在最近几次地震中经历了大量断裂破坏现象。可以采用杆端非线性弹簧模型对这种破坏模式进行数值模拟。为了确定断裂分析模型的参数,本文进行了结构钢(Q235c,Q345c)焊接热影响区断裂性能试验研究,获得了两种材料在焊接热影响区的JR阻力曲线。通过比较不同的断裂准则,考虑了裂纹失稳扩展前的稳态裂纹累计,根据J积分撕裂模量法建立了裂纹失稳的失效评定图。采用两种材料分别制作了一组外形尺寸一致,初始裂纹尺寸不同的单边裂纹焊接板,测出相应的极限拉伸应力,并和理论曲线进行了对比。最后,对于本文研究结果的适用范围做了说明。  相似文献

A testing procedure is applied to investigate the fatigue behavior of the detail fracture, in rail steel, under Mode I train stress spectrum. The results show that fatigue crack under spectrum loading depends on a “dynamic” accumulation of damage. This term is related to the load sequence in the spectrum and the gradient of the elastic stress intensity factor. It is theoretically very difficult to quantify this term. The rationale underlying the testing procedure is such that this dynamic term effect is implicitly included in the experimental results. The detail fracture was modelled by the penny-shaped crack geometry. This model has proved, in this study, to be satisfactory for simulating the fatigue growth of the detail fracture.  相似文献

在-196 ℃对S30408奥氏体不锈钢的母材和焊缝进行了夏比摆锤冲击实验,采用改进的柔度变化率法得到了低温下不锈钢母材夏比试样的起裂点。结果表明,采用改进的柔度变化率法得到的结果比采用传统的柔度变化率法得到的结果更准确。根据实验得到的载荷-位移曲线,结合采用Schindler法和关键曲线法各自所得结果的优点,得到了不锈钢母材的动态裂纹扩展阻力曲线(动态J-R曲线)。依据不锈钢焊缝在低温动载下的载荷-位移曲线及其断裂特征,通过线弹性断裂力学计算获得其动态断裂韧性。  相似文献

动态压缩荷载作用下,脆性岩石内部动态细观裂纹扩展特性,对岩石宏观动态力学特性有着重要的影响。然而,对岩石内部动态细观裂纹扩展与宏观动态力学特性的关系研究较少。基于准静态裂纹扩展作用下的应力-应变本构模型、准静态与动态裂纹扩展断裂韧度关系、裂纹速率与应变率关系模型及应变率与动态断裂韧度关系,提出了一种基于细观力学的动态应力-应变本构模型。其中裂纹速率与应变率关系,是根据裂纹长度与应变关系的时间导数推出;应变率与动态断裂韧度关系,是根据推出的裂纹速率及应变率关系,与裂纹速率及断裂韧度关系相结合而得到。研究了应变率对应力-应变本构关系及动态压缩强度影响。并通过试验结果验证了模型的合理性。讨论了岩石初始损伤、围压、模型中参数m、ε0和R对应力-应变关系、动态压缩强度和动态弹性模量的影响。研究结果可为动态压缩荷载作用下深部地下工程脆性围岩稳定性分析提供了一定的理论支持。  相似文献

A fracture parameter is introduced to characterize crack growth at elevated temperature for a weld interface crack. Finite element analyses are made for a compact tension (CT) specimen under constant load where an interface is modeled along the crack plane to simulate the dividing line of the weld metal (WM) and base metal (BM). A constitutive relation for an elastic-creeping material is used. The proposed time dependent fracture parameter is obtained for different creep constants of WM and BM. A transition time and fracture parameter for the homogeneous and welded specimens are defined such that the results can be normalized and presented in a general form for assessing the crack growth life.  相似文献

Fracture toughness of metals depends strongly on the state of stress near the crack tip. The existing standards (like R-6, SINTAP) are being modified to account for the influence of stress triaxiality in the flaw assessment procedures. These modifications are based on the ability of so-called ‘constraint parameters’ to describe near tip stresses. Crack tip stresses in homogeneous fracture specimens are successfully described in terms of two parameters like JQ or JT. For fracture specimens having a weld center crack, strength mismatch ratio between base and weld material and weld width are the additional variables, along with the magnitude of applied loading, type of loading, and geometry of specimen that affect the crack tip stresses. In this work, a novel three-parameter scheme was proposed to estimate the crack tip opening stress accounting for the above-mentioned variables. The first and second parameters represent the crack tip opening stress in a homogeneous fracture specimen under small-scale yielding and are well known. The third parameter accounts for the effect of constraint developed due to weld strength mismatch. It comprises of weld strength mismatch ratio (M, i.e. ratio of yield strength of weld material to that of base material), and a plastic interaction factor (Ip) that scales the size of the plastic zone with the width of the weld material. The plastic interaction factor represents the degree of influence of weld strength mismatch on crack tip constraint for a given mismatch ratio. The proposed scheme was validated with detailed FE analysis using the Modified Boundary Layer formulation.  相似文献

为深层次了解裂隙岩体在动载荷作用下的动态断裂特性及止裂机理,采用TWSRC(tunnel with single radial crack)构型进行中低速冲击实验,选择砂岩作为原材料制作裂隙岩体试样,以落锤冲击试验装置与裂纹扩展计实验系统对裂纹的动态起裂、扩展及止裂过程进行全过程监测,重点研究动态破裂过程的破裂行为及止裂现象。使用有限差分法程序进行数值模拟,验证冲击实验结果的科学性与准确性。研究发现:裂隙岩体的动态断裂过程是由起裂加速-高速扩展-缓慢减速-止裂-再次起裂加速-再次高速扩展等多次循环的过程构成,且止裂区间尺寸为微秒量级;裂隙岩体止裂位置的穿晶断裂比例远小于初始起裂点,青砂岩动态断裂过程的穿晶断裂比例稍大于黑砂岩;裂隙岩体中止裂点再次起裂所需的能量,远小于预制裂纹初始起裂所需要的能量。  相似文献

A damage plasticity model for ductile fracture is proposed. This model is established on the cylindrical coordinate system of principal stress space. Experimental results show that fracture initiation in uncracked ductile solids is sensitive to the hydrostatic pressure and dependent on the Lode angle. The joint effects of pressure and Lode angle define a fracture envelope in principal stress space. Plastic deformation induced damage is calculated by an integral of the damage rate measured at current loading and deformation status with respect to the fracture envelope. A power law damage rule is proposed to characterize the nonlinearity in damage accumulation. A damage-related weakening factor is adopted to describe the material deterioration. The material parameters are calibrated from standard laboratory tests. The proposed model is numerically implemented. Four simulations with emphasis on crack path prediction are presented.  相似文献

空腔和裂纹缺陷通常共存于深部地下岩体中,它们共同影响着岩体的结构安全性与稳定性。为了探究动力扰动载荷下圆形空腔对裂隙岩体内裂纹扩展行为的影响规律,提出了不同圆孔倾角的直裂纹空腔圆弧开口试件(circular opening specimen with straight crack cavity, COSSCC),利用自制大型落锤冲击实验装置进行动态加载实验,同时采用裂纹扩展计系统测试了裂纹的动态起裂时刻与裂纹扩展速度等各种断裂力学参数,随后采用有限差分软件Autodyn进行裂纹扩展路径与圆孔周围应力场的数值分析,并采用有限元软件Abaqus计算裂纹的动态起裂韧度与裂纹扩展过程中的动态扩展韧度。结果表明:(1)当圆孔倾角θ小于10°时,裂纹扩展路径会偏折并穿过圆孔表面;当圆孔倾角θ为20°与30°时,裂纹扩展路径向圆孔方向发生偏折但不会穿过圆孔,圆孔具有明显的裂纹扩展引导作用; 当圆孔倾角θ为40°与50°时,裂纹扩展路径不会发生偏折,圆孔引导作用明显减弱。(2)当裂纹扩展路径达到圆孔空腔附近时,裂纹尖端的拉伸应力区与圆孔边缘的拉伸应力区发生重合,此时裂纹扩展速度显著增大,裂纹动态断裂韧度显著减小。(3)裂纹的偏折方向与裂纹尖端最大周向应力的方向基本一致。(4)裂纹动态断裂韧度始终小于裂纹起裂韧度,且裂纹动态断裂韧度与裂纹动态扩展速度呈负相关关系。裂纹动态扩展速度越大,裂纹动态断裂韧度越小。  相似文献

地下硐室作为爆炸危险物的隐蔽贮藏空间,有潜在的内爆炸风险。为研究内爆炸作用下硐室围岩的动态响应机制,提出了一种基于岩石HJC (Holmquist-Johnson-Cook)模型和节理内聚力单元的损伤-虚拟裂纹模型。分析了模拟方法的可靠性,并在此基础上,通过多物质ALE算法对球形硐室内爆炸过程进行数值模拟,分析了围岩损伤范围和分区破坏规律。研究表明:插入内聚力单元弥补了HJC模型无法模拟低静水压力下张拉破坏的不足,且尺寸效应易于处理。模拟方法同时考虑了岩体内张拉裂纹的扩展和岩石材料的塑性损伤,能够真实地反映岩石破坏的全过程。以红砂岩为例,根据数值模拟结果,填实(耦合装药)爆炸时围岩分区破坏规律明显,破碎区比例半径为0.26 m/kg1/3、裂隙区比例半径为0.47 m/kg1/3。随着硐室尺寸的增大,空气的间隔作用可以减小爆炸荷载对围岩的损伤作用,比例半径达到0.52 m/kg1/3时,可以实现爆炸荷载的完全解耦。  相似文献

We propose in this contribution to investigate the link between the dynamic gradient damage model and the classical Griffith’s theory of dynamic fracture during the crack propagation phase. To achieve this main objective, we first rigorously reformulate two-dimensional linear elastic dynamic fracture problems using variational methods and shape derivative techniques. The classical equation of motion governing a smoothly propagating crack tip follows by considering variations of a space-time action integral. We then give a variationally consistent framework of the dynamic gradient damage model. Owing to the analogies between the variational ingredients of these two models and under some basic assumptions concerning the damage band structuration, one obtains a generalized Griffith criterion which governs the crack tip evolution within the non-local damage model. Assuming further that the internal length is small compared to the dimension of the body, the previous criterion leads to the classical Griffith’s law through a separation of scales between the outer linear elastic domain and the inner damage process zone.  相似文献

为了开展在不同冲击载荷作用下巷道围岩内裂纹的起裂、扩展及止裂等问题,以可调速冲击试验机进行动态加载试验,采用致密青砂岩制作裂纹巷道模型试件,并利用裂纹扩展计分别记录了动态起裂、扩展、止裂等时刻,对裂纹扩展速度的变化规律进行分析;随后采用AUTODYN有限差分法软件进行相应的数值模拟,数值模拟得到的裂纹扩展路径与试验结果基本一致。经过两者对比分析可知:随着冲击载荷作用的增加,裂纹平均扩展速度逐渐增大,随后趋于稳定值;预制裂纹的起裂时间随着冲击速度载荷的增加而逐渐降低,并在稳定值上下波动;随着冲击速度载荷的增加,裂纹扩展路径过程中的止裂时段逐渐变短。  相似文献

本文回顾了最近10年来材料与结构高温力学行为若干热点问题的研究进展,包括高温下材料力学行为的多尺度特性、多组元材料的蠕变力学性能、拘束条件下的高温断裂理论、高温下的结构安全评定理论等。指出:为了保障重大高温装备的安全运行,并为高技术工艺装备的实现提供理论支撑,必须实现时间尺度与空间尺度上的事件的转换与关联,解决高温材料老化的物理化学动力学问题,理清应力应变场与化学动力学过程的相互作用;应强化材料界面缺陷及高温结合强度的微观测量方法与理论分析的研究;需要进一步研究损伤影响下的实际蠕变裂尖应力场,精确描述拘束效应的蠕变裂纹扩展速率模型,以进一步建立拘束下的高温断裂理论;在高温结构的安全评定方面,在目前的失效评定图基础上引入与材料、结构同时关联的损伤维度(时间相关),可望实现较为复杂损伤机制下的失效评定。  相似文献

Progressive damage and fracture of adhesively bonded graphite/epoxy composite structures are evaluated via computational simulation. Load induced damage in both the adhesive bond and the adjoining laminate is considered. An integrated computer code is used for the simulation of structural degradation under loading. Damage initiation, growth, accumulation, and propagation to fracture are included in the simulations. Results show in detail the damage progression sequence and structural fracture resistance during different degradation stages. Design implications with regard to damage tolerance of adhesively bonded joints are examined. Influence of the type of loading as well as adhesive thickness on damage initiation and progression for an adhesively bonded composite structure are investigated.  相似文献

An element-failure algorithm is proposed and incorporated into a finite element code for simulating dynamic crack propagation and impact damage in laminated composite materials. In this algorithm, when a crack is propagating within a finite element, the element is deemed to have partially failed, but not removed from the computations. Consequently, only a fraction of the stresses that were computed before the crack tip entered the element contribute to the nodal forces of the element. When the crack has propagated through the element, the element is completely failed and therefore can only resist volumetric compression. This treatment of crack propagation in isotropic solids allows fracture paths within individual elements and is able to accommodate crack growth in any arbitrary direction without the need for remeshing. However, this concept is especially powerful when extended to the modeling of damage and delamination in fibre-reinforced composite laminates. This is because the nature of damage in composite laminates is generally diffused, characterized by multiple matrix cracks, fibre pullout, fibre breakage and delaminations. It is usually not possible to define or identify crack tips in the tradition of fracture mechanics. Since parts of a damaged composite structure are often able to partially transmit load despite the presence of some damage, it is advantageous to model the damaged portions with partially failed elements. The damage may be efficiently modeled and tracked using element-failure concepts, with the application of appropriate failure criteria and damage evolution laws. The idea is to embody the effects of damage into the effective nodal forces of the finite element. In this paper, we report the novel use of element-failure concepts in the analysis of low-velocity impact damage of composite laminates. The initiation and propagation of delaminations arising from the impact are predicted and the results show qualitative agreement with experimental observation of the formation of multiple delaminations in impact-damaged specimens. While such delaminations do not permit transmission of tensile stress waves across the cracked surfaces, transmission of compressive stress waves are allowed in the simulation. It is further shown that, when elements are allowed to fail, the dynamic stress wave distributions are altered significantly. In the element-failure algorithm, the issue of interpenetration of delamination surfaces in the model does not arise. This is a significant advantage over the conventional method of explicitly modeling the delamination surfaces and crack front, where generally, much computational time must be spent in employing contact algorithms to ensure physically admissible solutions. Finally, we also demonstrate the simulation of crack propagation of pre-notched specimens of an isotropic material under initial conditions of mode II loading using the element-failure algorithm. The numerical results showed that the cracks propagated at an angle of about 70° with respect to the notches, in agreement with the experimental results of Kalthoff.  相似文献

The dynamic crack growth in a full-scale gas pipeline of API X80 steel is analyzed using the finite element method with the cohesive zone model. Based on the simulation, it is revealed that for the moderate steady-state crack growth, the crack-tip-opening angle strongly depends on the crack growth speed. In addition, the threshold initial crack sizes under different internal pressures are analyzed, which show a significant three-dimensional effect due to the wall thickness of the pipeline. The presented model offers a feasible way to study some details of the dynamic fracture of full-scale pipelines when tests are difficult or expensive.  相似文献
