Oxygen-isotope-exchange rates were measured between sites in the Lindqvist-type [H(x)()Nb(6)O(19)](8)(-)(x)()((aq)) polyoxoanion and aqueous solution as a function of pH and temperature. The ion has a central mu(6)-O that is inert to exchange, 12 mu(2)-O(H), and 6 eta-O. The potassium salt of this ion is recrystallized in (17)O-enriched water to (17)O-label the anion, which is then redissolved into isotopically normal water so that the (17)O NMR signals from structural oxygens can be followed as a function of time. Because the central mu(6)-O retains its (17)O signal throughout the experiments, it is clear that the polyoxoanion remains intact during isotopic equilibration of the other structural oxygens. At pH conditions where the [HNb(6)O(19)](7)(-) ion predominates, the mu(2)-O(H) sites isotopically exchange with solution about an order of magnitude more rapidly than the eta-O sites. Yet, we observe that the terminal and bridging oxo sites react at nearly the same rates when the ion is coordinated to 2-3 protons and possibly when it is unprotonated. On the basis of molecular models and experimental kinetic data, we propose metastable polymorphs of the hexaniobate structure where four of the mu(2)-O(H) and eta-O sites are temporarily equivalent and bonded to a coordinatively unsaturated Nb(V). This hypothesized intermediate allows facile access to bulk water molecules for exchange but cannot fully explain the kinetic results and additional experiments on other Lindvist ions are required.  相似文献

Ln6(mu6-O)(mu3-OH)8(H2O)24]I8(H2O)(8) (Ln = Nd, Eu, Tb, Dy) compounds are obtained as the final hydrolysis products of lanthanide triiodides in an aqueous solution. Their X-ray crystal structure features a body-centered arrangement of oxygen-centered {Ln6X8}8+ cluster cores: [Nd6(mu6-O)(mu3-OH)8(H2O)24]I8(H2O)8 [Pearson code oP156, orthorhombic, Pnnm (No. 58), Z = 2, a = 1310.4(3) pm, b = 1502.1(3) pm, c = 1514.9(3) pm, 3384 reflections with I0 > 2sigma(I0), R1 = 0.0340, wR2 = 0.0764, GOF = 1.022, T = 298(2) K], [Eu6(mu6-O)(mu3-OH)8(H2O)24]I8(H2O)8 [Pearson code oP156, orthorhombic, Pnnm (No. 58), Z = 2, a = 1306.6(2) pm, b = 1498.15(19) pm, c = 1499.41(18) pm, 4262 reflections with I0 > 2sigma(I0), R1 = 0.0540, wR2 = 0.0860, GOF = 0.910, T = 298(2) K], [Tb6(mu6-O)(mu3-OH)8(H2O)24]I8(H2O)8 [Pearson code oP156, orthorhombic, Pnnm (No. 58), Z = 2, a = 1296.34(5) pm, b = 1486.13(7) pm, c = 1491.88(6) pm, 4182 reflections with I0 > 2sigma(I0), R1 = 0.0395, wR2 = 0.0924, GOF = 1.000, T = 298(2) K], and [Dy6(mu6-O)(mu3-OH)8(H2O)24]I8(H2O)8 [Pearson code oP156, orthorhombic, Pnnm (No. 58), Z = 2, a = 1296.34(5) pm, b = 1486.13(7) pm, c = 1491.88(6) pm, 3329 reflections with I0 > 2sigma(I0), R1 = 0.0389, wR2 = 0.0801, GOF = 0.992, T = 298(2) K.  相似文献

The effect of temperature and pressure on the water exchange reaction of [Fe(II)(NTA)(H2O)2](-) and [Fe(II)(BADA)(H2O)2](-) (NTA = nitrilotriacetate; BADA = beta-alanindiacetate) was studied by 17O NMR spectroscopy. The [Fe(II)(NTA)(H2O)2](-) complex showed a water exchange rate constant, k(ex), of (3.1 +/- 0.4) x 10(6) s(-1) at 298.2 K and ambient pressure. The activation parameters DeltaH( not equal), DeltaS( not equal) and DeltaV( not equal) for the observed reaction are 43.4 +/- 2.6 kJ mol(-1), + 25 +/- 9 J K(-1) mol(-1) and + 13.2 +/- 0.6 cm(3) mol(-1), respectively. For [Fe(II)(BADA)(H2O)2](-), the water exchange reaction is faster than for the [Fe(II)(NTA)(H2O)2](-) complex with k(ex) = (7.4 +/- 0.4) x 10(6) s(-1) at 298.2 K and ambient pressure. The activation parameters DeltaH( not equal), DeltaS( not equal) and DeltaV( not equal) for the water exchange reaction are 40.3 +/- 2.5 kJ mol(-1), + 22 +/- 9 J K(-1) mol(-1) and + 13.3 +/- 0.8 cm(3) mol(-1), respectively. The effect of pressure on the exchange rate constant is large and very similar for both systems, and the numerical values for DeltaV( not equal) suggest in both cases a limiting dissociative (D) mechanism for the water exchange process.  相似文献

The di- and tetranuclear metal sandwich-type silicotungstates of Cs10[(gamma-SiW10O36)2{Zr(H2O)}2(mu-OH)2] x 18 H2O (Zr2, monoclinic, C2/c (No. 15), a = 25.3315(8) A, b = 22.6699(7) A, c = 18.5533(6) A, beta = 123.9000(12) degrees, V = 8843.3(5) A(3), Z = 4), Cs10[(gamma-SiW10O36)2{Hf(H2O)}2(mu-OH)2] x 17 H2O (Hf2, monoclinic, space group C2/c (No. 15), a = 25.3847(16) A, b = 22.6121(14) A, c = 18.8703(11) A, beta = 124.046(3) degrees, V = 8974.9(9) A(3), Z = 4), Cs8[(gamma-SiW10O36)2{Zr(H2O)}4(mu4-O)(mu-OH)6] x 26 H2O (Zr4, tetragonal, P4(1)2(1)2 (No. 92), a = 12.67370(10) A, c = 61.6213(8) A, V = 9897.78(17) A(3), Z = 4), and Cs8[(gamma-SiW10O36)2{Hf(H2O)}4(mu4-O)(mu-OH)6] x 23 H2O (Hf4, tetragonal, P4(1)2(1)2 (No. 92), a = 12.68130(10) A, c = 61.5483(9) A, V = 9897.91(18) A(3), Z = 4) were obtained as single crystals suitable for X-ray crystallographic analyses by the reaction of a dilacunary gamma-Keggin silicotungstate K8[gamma-SiW10O36] with ZrOCl2 x 8 H2O or HfOCl2 x 8 H2O. These dimeric polyoxometalates consisted of two [gamma-SiW10O36](8-) units sandwiching metal-oxygen clusters such as [M2(mu-OH)2](6+) and [M4(mu4-O)(mu-OH)6](8+) (M = Zr or Hf). The dinuclear zirconium and hafnium complexes Zr2 and Hf2 were isostructural. The equatorially placed two metal atoms in Zr2 and Hf2 were linked by two mu-OH ligands and each metal was bound to four oxygen atoms of two [gamma-SiW10O36](8-) units. The tertanuclear zirconium and hafnium complexes Zr4 and Hf4 were isostructural and consisted of the adamantanoid cages with a tetracoordinated oxygen atom in the middle, [M4(mu4-O)(mu-OH)6](8+) (M = Zr or Hf). Each metal atom in Zr4 and Hf4 was linked by three mu-OH ligands and bound to two oxygen atoms of the [gamma-SiW10O36](8-) unit. The tetra-nuclear zirconium and hafnium complexes showed catalytic activity for the intramolecular cyclization of (+)-citronellal to isopulegols without formation of byproducts resulting from etherification and dehydration. A lacunary silicotungstate [gamma-SiW10O34(H2O)2](4-) was inactive, and the isomer ratio of isopulegols in the presence of MOCl2 x 8 H2O (M = Zr or Hf) were much different from that in the presence of tetranuclear complexes, suggesting that the [M4(mu4-O)(mu-OH)6](8+) core incorporated into the POM frameworks acts as an active site for the present cyclization. On the other hand, the reaction hardly proceeded in the presence of dinuclear zirconium and hafnium complexes under the same conditions. The much less activity is possibly explained by the steric repulsion from the POM frameworks in the dinuclear complexes.  相似文献

New synthesis procedures are described to tetranuclear manganese carboxylate complexes containing the [Mn(4)O(2)](8+) or [Mn(4)O(3)X](6+) (X(-) = MeCO(2)(-), F(-), Cl(-), Br(-), NO(3)(-)) core. These involve acidolysis reactions of [Mn(4)O(3)(O(2)CMe)(4)(dbm)(3)] (1; dbm is the anion of dibenzoylmethane) or [Mn(4)O(2)(O(2)CEt)(6)(dbm)(2)] (8) with HX (X(-) = F(-), Cl(-), Br(-), NO(3)(-)); high-yield routes to 1 and 8 are also described. The X(-) = NO(3)(-) complexes [Mn(4)O(3)(NO(3))(O(2)CR)(3)(R'(2)dbm)(3)] (R = Me, R' = H (6); R = Me, R' = Et (7); R = Et, R' = H (12)) represent the first synthesis of the [Mn(4)O(3)(NO(3))](6+) core, which contains an unusual eta(1):mu(3)-NO(3)(-) group. Treatment of known [Mn(4)O(2)(O(2)CEt)(7)(bpy)(2)](ClO(4)) with HNO(3) gives [Mn(4)O(2)(NO(3))(O(2)CEt)(6)(bpy)(2)](ClO(4)) (15) containing a eta(1):eta(1):mu-NO(3)(-) group bridging the two body Mn(III) ions of the [Mn(4)O(2)](8+) butterfly core. Complex 7 x 4CH(2)Cl(2) crystallizes in space group P2(1)2(1)2(1) with (at -168 degrees C) a = 21.110(3) A, b = 22.183(3) A, c = 15.958(2) A, Z = 4, and V = 7472.4(3) A(3). Complex 15 x (3)/(2)CH(2)Cl(2) crystallizes in space group P2(1)/c with (at -165 degrees C) a = 26.025(4) A, b = 13.488(2) A, c = 32.102(6) A, beta = 97.27(1) degrees, Z = 8, and V = 11178(5) A(3). Complex 7 contains a [Mn(4)(mu(3)-O)(3)(mu(3)-NO(3))](6+) core (3Mn(III), Mn(IV)) as seen for previous [Mn(4)O(3)X](6+) complexes. Complex 15 contains a butterfly [Mn(4)(mu(3)-O)(2)](8+) core. (1)H NMR spectra have been recorded for all complexes reported in this work and the various resonances assigned. All complexes retain their structural integrity on dissolution in chloroform and dichloromethane. Magnetic susceptibility (chi(M)) data were collected on 12 in the 5-300 K range in a 10.0 kG (1 T) field. Fitting of the data to the theoretical chi(M) vs T expression appropriate for a [Mn(4)O(3)X](6+) complex of C(3)(v)() symmetry gave J(34) = -23.9 cm(-)(1), J(33) = 4.9 cm(-)(1), and g = 1.98, where J(34) and J(33) refer to the Mn(III)Mn(IV) and Mn(III)Mn(III) pairwise exchange interactions, respectively. The ground state of the molecule is S = 9/2, as found previously for other [Mn(4)O(3)X](6+) complexes. This was confirmed by magnetization data collected at various fields and temperatures. Fitting of the data gave S = 9/2, D = -0.45 cm(-1), and g = 1.96, where D is the axial zero-field splitting parameter.  相似文献

When peroxotetramolybdophosphate, [(n-C4H9)4N]3[PO4[Mo2O2(mu-O2)2(O2)2]2], denoted (NBu4)3PMo4, and its tungsten(VI) analogue, (NBu4)3PW4, are mixed in acetonitrile at room temperature, redistribution occurs with the formation of three mixed-addenda species [PO4[Mo4-xWxO20]]3- (x = 1-3). The temperature dependence of the phosphorus-31 NMR spectra of a 1 1 mixture and of the pure salts, (NBu4)3PMo4 or (NBu4)3PW4, shows that [MO(O2)2] species are in chemical exchange, as are the [MOp] units of certain heteropolyacids (e.g. H3[PMo12O40] x aq and H3[PW12O40] x aq). However, there is no chemical exchange between free phosphate and [MO(O2)2] species in these systems; but there is fluxional behaviour involving PMo2W2, PMo4 and PW4. This is attributed to the rapid equilibrium between isomers (PMo2W2) and to equilibrium between anionic structures with tridentate (mu-eta2:eta1-O22-) and bidentate (eta2-O22-) modes of coordination for the two peroxo groups of the [M2O2(mu-O2)2(O2)2] moieties.  相似文献

A series of molybdenum and tungsten organometallic oxides containing [Ru(arene)]2+ units (arene =p-cymene, C6Me6) was obtained by condensation of [[Ru(arene)Cl2]2] with oxomolybdates and oxotungstates in aqueous or nonaqueous solvents. The crystal structures of [[Ru(eta6-C6Me6]]4W4O16], [[Ru(eta6-p-MeC6H4iPr]]4W2O10], [[[Ru-(eta6-p-MeC6H4iPr)]2(mu-OH)3]2][[Ru(eta6-p-MeC6H4iPr)]2W8O28(OH)2[Ru(eta6-p-MeC6H4iPr)(H2O)]2], and [[Ru(eta6-C6Me6)]2M5O18[Ru(eta6-C6Me6)(H2O)]] (M = Mo, W) have been determined. While the windmill-type clusters [[Ru(eta6-arene)]4(MO3)4(mu3-O)4] (M = Mo, W; arene =p-MeC6H4iPr, C6Me6), the face-sharing double cubane-type cluster [[Ru(eta6-p-MeC6H4iPr)]4(WO2)2(mu3-O)4(mu4-O)2], and the dimeric cluster [[Ru(eta6-p-MeC6H4iPr)(WO3)3(mu3-O)3(mu3-OH)Ru(eta6-pMeC6H4iPr)(H2O)]2(mu-WO2)2]2- are based on cubane-like units, [(Ru(eta6-C6Me6)]2M5O18[Ru(eta6-C6Me6)(H2O)]] (M = Mo, W) are more properly described as lacunary Lindqvist-type polyoxoanions supporting three ruthenium centers. Precubane clusters [[Ru(eta6-arene)](MO3)2(mu-O)3(mu3-O)]6- are possible intermediates in the formation of these clusters. The cluster structures are retained in solution, except for [[Ru(eta6-p-MeC6H4iPr)]4Mo4O16], which isomerizes to the triple-cubane form.  相似文献

Antimony compounds that feature multidentate aryloxide ligands, namely [eta4-N(o-C6H4O)3]Sb(OSMe2), {{[eta3-N(o-C6H4OH)(o-C6H4O)2]Sb}2(mu2-O)}2, and {[eta3-PhN(o-C6H4O)2]Sb}4(mu3-O)2 have been synthesized from N(o-C6H4OH)3 and PhN(o-C6H4OH)2 and structurally characterized by X-ray diffraction. While [eta4-N(o-C6H4O)3]Sb(OSMe2) exists as a discrete mononuclear species, the oxo complexes {{[eta3-N(o-C6H4OH)(o-C6H4O)2]Sb}2(mu2-O)}2 and {[eta3-PhN(o-C6H4O)2]Sb}4(micro3-O)2 are multinuclear. Specifically, the dinuclear fragment {[eta3-N(o-C6H4OH)(o-C6H4O)2]Sb}2(mu2-O)} exists in a dimeric form due to the bridging oxo ligand participating in an intermolecular hydrogen bonding interaction, while the dinuclear fragment {[eta3-PhN(o-C6H4O)2]Sb}2(mu-O) exists in a dimeric form due to the bridging oxo ligand serving as a donor to the antimony of a second fragment. The structures of {{[eta3-N(o-C6H4OH)(o-C6H4O)2]Sb}2(mu2-O)}2 and {[eta3-PhN(o-C6H4O)2]Sb}4(mu3-O)(2), therefore, indicate that an oxo ligand bridging two Sb(III) centers is sufficiently electron rich to serve as both an effective hydrogen bond acceptor and as a ligand for an additional Sb(III) center.  相似文献

By synthesizing the novel molybdenum arsenate complexes, we have obtained eight new structures, namely, (4,4'-bipy)[Zn(4,4'-bipy)2(H2O)2]2[(ZnO6)(AsIII3O3)2Mo6O18].7H2O, 1, [Zn(phen)2(H2O)]2[(ZnO6)(AsIII3O3)2Mo6O18].4H2O, 2, [Zn(2,2'-bipy)2(H2O)]2[(ZnO6)(AsIII3O3)2Mo6O18].4H2O, 3, [Zn(H4,4'-bipy)2(H2O)4][(ZnO6)(AsIII3O3)2Mo6O18].8H2O, 4, (H24,4'-bipy)[CuI(4,4'-bipy)]2[H2AsV2Mo6O26].H2O, 5, (H24,4'-bipy)3[AsV2Mo6O26].4H2O, 6, (H24,4'-bipy)3[AsV2Mo6O26(H2O)].4H2O, 7, and (H24,4'-bipy)2.5(H3O)[AsV2Mo6O26(H2O)].1.25H2O, 8 (4,4'-bipy = 4,4'-bipyridine, 2,2'-bipy = 2,2'-bipyridine, phen = 1,10-phenanthroline). These structures were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis and were further characterized by elemental analysis, IR, XPS spectroscopy, and TG analysis. The structure of 1 is constructed from two-dimensional square gridlike sheets linked by the polyanions [(ZnO6)(AsIII3O3)2Mo6O18]4- via hydrogen-bonding interactions to form a three-dimensional supramolecular framework with two types of channels. Compounds 2 and 3 display similar bisupported structures. Compound 4 features a three-dimensional supramolecular architecture. Compound 5 possesses a 1D infinite ladderlike ribbon. Compounds 6-8 are discrete structures exhibiting three isomeric forms of [HxAs2Mo6O26](6-x)-. Furthermore, compound 8 represents a new isomer B'-[As2Mo6O26(H2O)]6-. In addition, the fluorescent properties of compounds 1-3 are reported.  相似文献

A new phase [PtIn6](GeO4)2O, a filled variant of [PtIn6](GaO4)2, and the solid solution [PtIn6](GaO4)(2-x)(GeO4)xOx/2 (0 < or = x < or = 2) were prepared and characterized. Single-crystal structure refinements show that [PtIn6](GeO4)2O is isotypic with the mineral, sulfohalite Na6FCl(SO4)2, and crystallizes in the space group Fmm (Z = 4) with a = 1006.0(1) pm. The building units of [PtIn6](GeO4)2O are isolated [PtIn6]10+ octahedra and (GeO4)4- tetrahedra, and the isolated O2- ions occupy the centers of the In6 octahedra made up of six adjacent PtIn6 octahedra. The lattice parameter of the solid solution [PtIn6](GaO4)(2-x)(GeO4)xOx/2 (0 < or = x < or = 2) varies gradually from a = 1001.3(1) pm at x = 0 to a = 1006.0(1) pm at x = 2, and the color of the solid solution changes gradually from black (x = 0) to red (x = 1) to yellow (x = 2). The cause for the gradual color change was examined by performing density functional theory electronic structure calculations for the end members [PtIn6](GaO4)2 and [PtIn6](GeO4)2O. Our analysis indicates that an oxygen atom at the center of a In6 octahedron cuts the In 5p/In 5p bonding interactions between adjacent [PtIn6]10+ octahedra thereby raising the bottom of the conduction bands, and the resulting quantum dot effect is responsible for the color change.  相似文献

A new soft chemical route to [Ta6O19]8- has been developed by the dissolution of [Ta(O2)4]3- in conditions alkaline enough to arrest formation of Ta2O5, followed by [VO4]3--catalyzed decomposition of the peroxide ligands and crystallization of the salt. An average of bond lengths and angles from isostructural salts of [Ta6O19]8- and [Nb6O19]8- indicate there is an increase in terminal M(eta=O) bond lengths and M-micro2-O-M angles and a decrease in bridging micro2-O-M bond lengths in [Ta6O19]8-, although the central micro6-O-M bond lengths are identical within experimental error. Two new structures of Na7[HNb6O19].15H2O () and Na8[Ta6O19].15H2O () are exemplary of the fact that protonated micro2-OH are observed exclusively in the niobates. In these structures, the metal-oxide framework, seven sodium atoms, and all fifteen water molecules are located in identical unit cell positions, but in an eighth charge-balancing sodium is located in close proximity to the protonated micro2-OH in . Differences in the basicity of Nb(v)- and Ta(v)-bound oxygen atoms are also manifested at the surfaces of 17O-enriched powders of Nb2O5 and Ta2O5. Oxygen exchange at the surface of these materials readily takes place at both terminal and bridging sites in Nb2O5 but only at terminal sites in Ta2O5.  相似文献

The reaction between oxide-centered, triangular [MnIII3O(O2CR)6(py)3](ClO4) (R = Me (1), Et (2), Ph (3)) compounds and methyl 2-pyridyl ketone oxime (mpkoH) affords a new family of Mn/carboxylato/oximato complexes, [MnIII3O(O2CR)3(mpko)3](ClO4) [R = Me (4), Et (5), and Ph (6)]. As in 1-3, the cations of 4-6 contain an [MnIII3(mu3-O)]7+ triangular core, but with each Mn2 edge now bridged by an eta1:eta1:mu-RCO2- and an eta1:eta1:eta1:mu-mpko- group. The tridentate binding mode of the latter causes a buckling of the formerly planar [MnIII3(mu3-O)]7+ core, resulting in a relative twisting of the three MnIII octahedra and the central O2- ion now lying approximately 0.3 A above the Mn3 plane. This structural distortion leads to ferromagnetic exchange interactions within the molecule and a resulting S = 6 ground state. Fits of dc magnetization data for 4-6 collected in the 1.8-10.0 K and 10-70 kG ranges confirmed S = 6 ground states, and gave the following D and g values: -0.34 cm(-1) and 1.92 for 4, -0.34 cm(-1) and 1.93 for 5, and -0.35 cm(-1) and 1.99 for 6, where D is the axial zero-field splitting (anisotropy) parameter. Complexes 4-6 all exhibit frequency-dependent out-of-phase (chi" M) ac susceptibility signals suggesting them possibly to be single-molecule magnets (SMMs). Relaxation rate vs T data for complex 4 down to 1.8 K obtained from the chi" M vs T studies were supplemented with rate vs T data measured to 0.04 K via magnetization vs time decay studies, and these were used to construct Arrhenius plots from which was obtained the effective barrier to relaxation (Ueff) of 10.9 K. Magnetization vs dc field sweeps on single-crystals of 4.3CH2Cl2 displayed hysteresis loops exhibiting steps due to quantum tunneling of magnetization (QTM). The loops were essentially temperature-independent below approximately 0.3 K, indicating only ground-state QTM between the lowest-lying Ms = +/-6 levels. Complexes 4-6 are thus confirmed as the first triangular SMMs. High-frequency EPR spectra of single crystals of 4.3CH2Cl2 have provided precise spin Hamiltonian parameters, giving D = -0.3 cm(-1), B40 = -3 x 10(-5) cm(-1), and g = 2.00. The spectra also suggest a significant transverse anisotropy of E > or = 0.015 cm(-1). The combined work demonstrates the feasibility that structural distortions of a magnetic core imposed by peripheral ligands can "switch on" the properties of an SMM.  相似文献

Pure [Cu(XeF2)2](SbF6)2 was prepared by the reaction of Cu(SbF 6) 2 with a stoichiometric amount of XeF2 in anhydrous hydrogen fluoride (aHF) at ambient temperature. The reaction between Cu(SbF6)2 and XeF2 (1:4 molar ratio) in aHF yielded [Cu(XeF2)4](SbF6)2 contaminated with traces of Xe 2F 3SbF6 and CuF2. The 6-fold coordination of Cu(2+) in [Cu(XeF2)2](SbF6)2 includes two fluorine atoms from two XeF2 ligands and four fluorine atoms provided by four [SbF6](-) anions. The neighboring [Cu(XeF 2)2](2+) moieties are connected via two [SbF6] units, with the bridging fluorine atoms in cis positions, into infinite [Cu(eta(1)-XeF2)2](cis-eta(2)-SbF 6)2[Cu(eta(1)-XeF 2)2] chains. Because of the high electron affinity of Cu(2+), coordinated XeF2 shows the highest distortion (Xe-Fb=210.2(5) pm, Xe-Ft=190.6(5) pm) observed so far among all known [M(x+)(XeF2)n](A)x (A=BF4, PF6, etc.) complexes. The four equatorial coordination sites of the Cu(2+) ion in [Cu(XeF 2) 4](SbF6)2 are occupied by four XeF 2 ligands. Two fluorine atoms belonging to two [SbF6] units complete the Cu (2+) coordination environment. The neighboring [Cu(XeF2)4](2+) species are linked via one [SbF6] unit, with bridging fluorine atoms in trans positions, into linear infinite [Cu(eta(1)-XeF2)4](trans-eta(2)-SbF6)[Cu(eta(1)-XeF2)4] chains. To compensate for the remaining positive charge, crystallographically independent [SbF6](-) anions are located between the chains and are fixed in the crystal space by weak Xe...F(Sb) interactions.  相似文献

The use of salicylaldehyde oxime (H2salox) in iron(III) carboxylate chemistry has yielded two new hexanuclear compounds [Fe6(mu3-O)2(O2CPh)10(salox)2(L)2].xMeCN.yH2O [L = MeCONH2, x = 6, y = 0 (1); L = H2O, x = 2, y = 3 (2)]. Compound 1 crystallizes in the triclinic space group P with (at 25 degrees C) a = 13.210(8) A, b = 13.87(1) A, c = 17.04(1) A, alpha = 105.79(2) degrees , beta = 96.72(2) degrees , gamma = 116.69(2) degrees , V = 2578.17(2) A(3), and Z = 1. Compound 2 crystallizes in the monoclinic space group C2/c with (at 25 degrees C) a = 21.81(1) A, b = 17.93(1) A, c = 27.72(1) A, beta = 111.70(2) degrees , V = 10070(10) A(3), and Z = 4. Complexes 1 and 2 contain the [Fe6(mu3-O)2(mu2-OR)2]12+ core and can be considered as two [Fe3(mu3-O)] triangular subunits linked by two mu2-oximato O atoms of the salox2- ligands, which show the less common mu3:eta1:eta2:eta1 coordination mode. The benzoato ligands are coordinated through the usual syn,syn-mu2:eta1:eta1 mode. The terminal MeCONH2 ligand in 1 is the hydrolysis product of the acetonitrile solvent in the presence of the metal ions. M?ssbauer spectra from powdered samples of 2 give rise to two well-resolved doublets with an average isomer shift consistent with that of high-spin Fe(III) ions. The two doublets, at an approximate 1:2 ratio, are characterized by different quadrupole splittings and are assigned to the nonequivalent Fe(III) ions of the cluster. Magnetic measurements of 2 in the 2-300 K temperature range reveal antiferromagnetic interactions between the Fe(III) ions, stabilizing an S = 0 ground state. NMR relaxation data have been used to investigate the energy separation between the low-lying states, and the results are in agreement with the susceptibility data.  相似文献

Raman and FTIR spectra of [Cu(H2O)6](BrO3)2 and [Al(H2O)6](BrO3)3 x 3H2O are recorded and analyzed. The observed bands are assigned on the basis of BrO3- and H2O vibrations. Additional bands obtained in the region of v3 and v1 modes in [Cu(H2O)6](BrO3)2 are due to the lifting of degeneracy of v3 modes, since the BrO3- ion occupies a site of lower symmetry. The appearance v1 mode of BrO3- anion at a lower wavenumber (771 cm(-1)) is attributed to the attachment of hydrogen to the BrO3- anion. The presence of three inequivalent bromate groups in the [Al(H2O)6](BrO3)3 x 3H2O structure is confirmed. The lifting of degeneracy of v4 mode indicates that the symmetry of BrO3- anion is lowered in the above crystal from C3v to C1. The appearance of additional bands in the stretching and bonding mode regions of water indicates the presence of hydrogen bonds of different strengths in both the crystals. Temperature dependent Raman spectra of single crystal [Cu(H2O)6](BrO3)2 are recorded in the range 77-523 K for various temperatures. A small structural rearrangement takes place in BrO3- ion in the crystal at 391 K. Hydrogen bounds in the crystal are rearranging themselves leading to the loss of one water molecule at 485 K. This is preceded by the reorientation of BrO3- ions causing a phase transition at 447 K. Changes in intensities and wavenumbers of the bands and the narrowing down of the bands at 77 K are attributed to the settling down of protons into ordered positions in the crystal.  相似文献

Rates of oxygen-isotope exchange were measured in the tetrasiliconiobate ion [H(2+x)Si(4)Nb(16)O(56)]((14-x)-) to better understand how large oxide ions interact with water. The molecule has 19 nonequivalent oxygen sites and is sufficiently complex to evaluate hypotheses derived from our previous work on smaller clusters. We want to examine the extent to which individual oxygen atoms react independently with particular attention given to the order of protonation of the various oxygen sites as the pH decreases from 13 to 6. As in our previous work, we find that the set of oxygen sites reacts at rates that vary over approximately 10(4) across the molecule at 6相似文献

The synthesis, crystal structure, and magnetic properties of two trinuclear oxo-centered carboxylate complexes are reported and discussed: [Cr3(mu3-O)(mu2-PhCOO)6(H2O)3]NO3.4H2O.2CH3OH (1) and [Cr3(mu3-O)(mu2-PhCOO)2(mu2-OCH2CH3)2(bpy)2(NCS)3] (2). For both complexes the crystal system is monoclinic, with space group C2/c for 1 and P1/n for 2. The structure of complex 1 consists of discrete trinuclear cations, associated NO3- anions, and lattice methanol and water molecules. The structure of complex 2 is built only by neutral discrete trinuclear entities. The most important feature of 2 is the unusual skeleton of the [Cr3O] core due to the lack of peripheral bridging ligands along one side of the triangular core, which is unique among the structurally characterized (mu3-oxo)trichromium(III) complexes. Magnetic measurements were performed in the 2-300 K temperature range. For complex 1, in the high-temperature region (T > 8 K), experimental data could be satisfactorily reproduced by using an isotropic exchange model, H = -2J12S1S2 - 2J13S1S3 - 2J23S2S3 (J12 = J13 = J23) with Jij = -10.1 cm(-1), g = 1.97, and TIP = 550 x 10(-6) emu mol(-1). The antisymmetric exchange interaction plays an important role in the magnetic behavior of the system, so in order to fit the experimental magnetic data at low temperature, a new magnetic model was used where this kind of interaction was also considered. The resulting fitting parameters are the following: Gzz = 0.25 cm(-1), delta = 2.5 cm(-1), and TIP = 550 x 10(-6) emu mol(-1). For complex 2, the experimental data could be satisfactorily reproduced by using an isotropic exchange model, H = -2J1(S1S2 + S1S3) - 2J2(S2S3) with J1 = -7.44 cm(-1), J2 = -51.98 cm(-1), and g = 1.99. The magnetization data allows us to deduce the ground term of S = 1/2, characteristic of equilateral triangular chromium(III) for complex 1 and S = 3/2 for complex 2, which is confirmed by EPR measurements.  相似文献

Reaction of Mn(ClO4)2 with di-pyridyl ketone oxime, (2-py)2C=NOH, gives the novel cluster [Mn(II)4Mn(III)6Mn(IV)2(mu4-O)2(mu3-O)4(mu3-OH)4(mu3-OCH3)2(pko)12](OH)(ClO4)3 1. It is the only example of a 24-MC-8, and the first metallacrown with ring metal ions in three different oxidation states. Magnetic measurements show antiferromagnetic behavior.  相似文献

A new type of Zintl phase is presented that contains endohedrally filled clusters and that allows for the formation of intermetalloid clusters in solution by a one-step synthesis. The intermetallic compound K(5-x) Co(1-x) Sn(9) was obtained by the reaction of a preformed Co?Sn alloy with potassium and tin at high temperatures. The diamagnetic saltlike ternary phase contains discrete [Co@Sn(9) ](5-) clusters that are separated by K(+) ions. The intermetallic compound K(5-x) Co(1-x) Sn(9) readily and incongruently dissolves in ethylenediamine and in the presence of 4,7,13,16,21,24-hexaoxa-1,10-diazabicyclo[8.8.8]hexacosane (2.2.2-crypt), thereby leading to the formation of crystalline [K([2.2.2]crypt)](5) [Co(2) Sn(17) ]. The novel polyanion [Co(2) Sn(17) ](5-) contains two Co-filled Sn(9) clusters that share one vertex. Both compounds were characterized by single-crystal X-ray structure analysis. The diamagnetism of K(5-x) Co(1-x) Sn(9) and the paramagnetism of [K([2.2.2]crypt)](5) [Co(2) Sn(17) ] have been confirmed by superconducting quantum interference device (SQUID) and EPR measurements, respectively. Quantum chemical calculations reveal an endohedral Co(1-) atom in an [Sn(9) ](4-) nido cluster for [Co@Sn(9) ](5-) and confirm the stability of the paramagnetic [Co(2) Sn(17) ](5-) unit.  相似文献
