The wave functions and probabilities of excitation of giant-dipole-resonance states in the photodis-integration cross section of the 18O nucleus have been calculated within the particle-core coupling version of the many-particle shell model. The probabilities of E1 excitation of 1? states with T = 1 and 2 in the 18O nucleus have been obtained using the spectroscopic data on the direct nucleon pickup reactions 18O(d, t)17O [2]. 相似文献

The two-body photodisintegration of 3He is calculated using 3He and proton-deuteron wave functions obtained by assuming a separable interaction for the two-nucleon t-matrix. We show that the isotropic component of the cross section is unlikely to yield useful information on the D-state probability densities of the deuteron and 3He. A detailed comparison is made with the data on the cross section at 90°. The separable approximation can account for some of the experimental results, but other experiments suggest that a more sophisticated treatment of the nuclear interactions and wave functions is necessary. 相似文献

An experiment in which the gold isotope 197Au was irradiated with a beam of bremsstrahlung photons having an endpoint energy of E γ m = 67.7 MeV and originating from the RTM-70 racetrack microtron of the Institute of Nuclear Physics at Moscow State University was performed. The gammaray spectra of the residual beta activity of an irradiated sample were measured. Multinucleon photonuclear reactions on 197Au nuclei were observed in the experiment. Photonuclear reactions on a 197Au nucleus that involve the emission of up to seven neutrons were recorded for the first time. The experimental results in question suggest the important role of the quasideuteron photodisintegration mechanism in the energy region behind the giant dipole resonance. 相似文献

A protocol for remotely preparing a four-particle entangled cluster-type state by a set of new four-particle orthogonal basis projective measurement. It is secure that the entangled four-particle cluster-type state can be successfully realized at Bob place. Moreover we have also investigated that quantum channel shared by Alice and Bob is composed of four non-maximally entangled states. It is shown that Bob can also reestablish the original state (to be prepared remotely) with certain probability by means of appropriate unitary transformation. 相似文献

Whether bound states of Coulomb systems composed of four particles with unit charges (quadrions), a + b + c − d −, exist is demonstrated to be determined by the masses of the constituent particles. Relations that make it possible to establish the existence of a large number quadrions with different masses of the particles are derived. The energies of reference quadrions of different symmetry, a positronium molecule, a + a + a − a −, a + b + a − b −, a + b + a − b −, and a + a + b − c −, are determined and groups of stable asymmetric quadrions corresponding to them are identified. A relationship between the stability of a number of quadrions and three-particle systems (trions) was found. The results shows that, among all the 406 four-particle independent combinations of electrons, muons, pions, kaons, protons, deuterons, and tritium nuclei or their antiparticles, there are 227 bound quadrions. 相似文献

Explicit expressions for four-particle Coulomb interaction integrals and overlap integrals for exponential basis functions dependent on five interparticle distances have been obtained. These formulas significantly simplify calculations in comparison with the general algorithm and are free from uncertainties arising in its application. The values of the integrals under consideration are calculated for a number of points forbidden in the general algorithm. The results obtained are applicable to analysis of four-particle integrals of the general form and calculation of four-particle atomic-molecular systems with partial allowance for the correlation of particle motion. 相似文献

Experimental photonuclear reaction cross sections obtained in experiments using quasimonoenergetic annihilation, monoenergetic tagged photons, and bremsstrahlung γ-radiation are analyzed using physical criteria for the reliability of data on the 89Y nucleus. It is found that the reliability of data on the cross sections of partial reactions (γ, 1n) and (γ, 2n), obtained by means of photoneutron multiplicity sorting, is highly doubtful. Reliable cross sections of reactions (γ, 1n) and (γ, 2n) are obtained using the experimental–theoretical method (ETM) for evaluating using both experimental cross sections of neutron yield reaction σexp(γ, xn) that are free of neutron multiplicity problems, and theoretically calculated F i theor ratios of the cross sections of definite (i) partial reactions to cross section σtheor(γ, xn). It is shown that the evaluated cross sections differ noticeably from the experimental data. 相似文献

We have calculated the cross section for the photodisintegration of 4He into the (3 + 1) partition corresponding to the electric dipole transition using first-order perturbation theory and neglecting the final-state interaction. We describe the ground states of 4He and 3H by superposed Gaussian functions, the various parameters of which have been determined from a variational calculation of the binding energies of these systems, using a central velocitydependent potential. We compare our results with recent experiments and with other similar calculations. It appears that Gaussian functions are somewhat better than other functions from a variational point of view. Though our function is good in describing the ground state properties, the maximum cross section does not appear at the correct energy. 相似文献

Thin targets of natural Fe have been irradiated with132xe ions at beam energies of 5.00, 5.90, and 7.15 MeV/u. Mass yields for projectile-like and symmetric products were evaluated, and their ratio as a function of beam energy determined. The processes of deuteron photodisintegration by a gamma-quantum and the radiative capture of a neutron by a proton with the emission of a gamma-quantum are considered. Interaction between nucleons is described by a nonlocal potential of the Yamaguchi type but allowing for repulsion due to the nucleon cores. In contrast to other potentials, the Schroedinger equation is solved exactly for the proposed potential. The potential is more exactly defined in comparison with the previously obtained values for the parameters; information on this potential is important in solving certain fundamental problems in nuclear theory. The effective cross sections for photodisintegration of a deuteron and for radiative capture are computed. Calculations show that the proposed potential makes it possible to describe the photodisintegration processes quite accurately for intermediate (up to 20 MeV) energies. The cross section computed for radiative capture is in somewhat better agreement with experiment than is the same cross section determined for other potentials. 相似文献

P-odd correlations in deuteron photodisintegration are considered. It is shown that, in the case of unpolarized deuterons, π-meson exchanges do not contribute to these correlations. For polarized deuterons, the contribution of π-meson exchanges to the P-odd correlation is about 0.3×10?8. The contribution to P-odd effects from weak interactions at short distances substantially exceeds the contribution from π-meson exchanges. 相似文献

We discuss the local cutting of single-walled carbon nanotubes by a voltage pulse to the tip of a scanning tunneling microscope.
The tip voltage ( V) is the key physical quantity in the cutting process. After reviewing several possible physical mechanisms we conclude
that the cutting process relies on the weakening of the carbon-carbon bonds through a combination of localized particle-hole
excitations induced by inelastically tunneling electrons and elastic deformation due to the electric field between tip and
sample. The carbon network releases part of the induced mechanical stress by forming topological defects that act as nucleation
centers for the formation of dislocations that dynamically propagate towards bond-breaking.

Comparison with spectroscopic factors for nucleon pickup reactions on 32S leading to the same residual states are made. ) + α (or mirror) channels are included by taking account of the unstable nature of 8Be and 5He. Spectroscopic properties of 9Be and 9B are analyzed. We show that the 5He + α configurations cannot be neglected to derive accurate results. The 9Be(γ,αα)n photodisintegration cross-section is shown to be mainly determined by 8Be + n channels at low energies, but 5He + α channels become important beyond E
γ≈ 4 MeV.
