Lipids and polysaccharides have been obtained from the leaves ofBrassica oleracea. The qualitative and quantitative compositions of the lipid complex have been studied. The fatty acid compositions of the total neutral lipids and of the phospho- and glycolipids have been determined. The carbohydrate complex of cabbage includes water-soluble polysaccharides, low-methoxyl pectins, hemicelluloses, and free monosugars. The N-terminal amino acids and the amino acid compositions of four species-specific proteins of two species of the cotton plant —Gossypium hirsutum andG. barbadense — have been determined. Peptide maps of tryptic hydrolysates of these proteins have been obtained and compared. Individual tryptic peptides have been isolated and purified. The N-ends, amino acid compositions, and amino acid sequences of individual peptides have been determined. The N-terminal sections of the proteins ofG. hirsutum andG. barbadense as far as the 16th amino acid residue have been sequenced. A systematic investigation on glass formation in the ternary system InF3–BaF2–Sc(PO3)3n has been carried out. Scandium polyphosphate Sc(PO3)3n has been used as a third component in order to investigate the possibilities of obtaining new stable glasses. The above long-chain polyphosphate has been prepared using a specially elaborated cryo-technique, which allowed the preparation of high-purity product. Stable ternary compositions have been obtained within the compositions range (in mol%): 5–75 InF3, 0–80% BaF2, 0–50% Sc(PO3)3n. Glasses were characterized by Differential Scanning Calorimetry, vibrational spectroscopy (Raman) and 31P NMR. Structural features for the glass were put forward. Isolated P(O,F)4 groups or fluoroindated metaphosphate units could be identified depending on glass compositions.  相似文献

The vaporisation of a liquid Ag–In–Sn system has been investigated at 1273–1473 K by Knudsen effusion mass spectrometry (KEMS) and the data fitted to a Redlich–Kister–Muggianu (RKM) sub-regular solution model. Nineteen different compositions have been examined at six fixed indium mole fractions, XIn = 0.10, 0.117, 0.20, 0.30, 0.40 and 0.50. The ternary L-parameters, the thermodynamic activities and the thermodynamic properties of mixing have been evaluated using standard KEMS procedures and from the measured ion intensity ratios of Ag+ to In+ and Ag+ to Sn+, using a mathematical regression technique described by us for the first time. The intermediate data obtained directly from the regression technique are the RKM ternary L-parameters. From the obtained ternary L-parameters the integral molar excess Gibbs free energy, the excess chemical potentials, the activity coefficients and the activities have been evaluated. Using the temperature dependence of the activities, the integral and partial molar excess enthalpies and entropies were determined. In addition, for comparison, for some compositions, also the Knudsen effusion isothermal evaporation method (IEM) and the Gibbs–Duhem ion intensity ratio method (GD-IIR) were used to determine activities and good agreement was obtained with the data obtained from fitting to the RKM model.  相似文献

The lipid complex of the seeds ofHeracleum lehmannianum B. has been studied. The qualitative and quantitative compositions of the neutral lipids and the phospho- and glycolipids, and the fatty acid compositions of the acyl-containing classes of lipids have been determined. The fractional compositions of the carbohydrates of the four most promising varieties ofFicus carica L. — Smena, Kadota, Chumlakuri mtsvane, and Turetskii korichnevyi — have been investigated. The values of the second dissociation constant, pK2, and related thermodynamic quantities of 4-(N-morpholino)butanesulfonic acid (MOBS) and N-tris(hydroxymethyl)-4-aminobutanesulfonic acid (TABS) have already been reported over the temperature range 5–55°C including 37{°}C. This paper reports the pH values of twelve equimolal buffer solutions at designated pH (s) with the following compositions: (a) mixtures of MOBS (0.05 mol-kg–1) + NaMOBS (0.05 mol-kg–1); (b) MOBS (0.08 mol-kg–1) + NaMOBS (0.08 mol-kg–1); (c) MOBS (0.08 mol-kg–1) + NaMOBS (0.08 mol-kg–1) + NaCl (0.08 mol-kg–1); (d) TABS (0.05 mol-kg–1) + NaTABS (0.05 mol-kg–1); and (e) TABS (0.08 mol-kg–1) + NaTABS (0.08 mol-kg–1); and (f) TABS (0.08 mol-kg–1) + NaTABS (0.08 mol-kg–1) + NaCl (0.08 mol-kg–1). Two buffer solutions have ionic strengths I= 0.05 mol-kg–1, another two have I=0.08 mol-kg–1, and the remaining two buffer solutions have I= 0.16 mol-kg–1, which is close to that of the clinical fluids (blood serum). These buffers have been recommended as a useful pH standard for the measurements of physiological solutions. Conventional pH values of all six buffer solutions from 5–55°C, as well as those obtained from the liquid junction potential correction at 25 and 37{°}C have been calculated.
