The operad Lie can be constructed as the operad of primitives PrimAs from the operad As of associative algebras. This is reflected by the theorems of Friedrichs, Poincaré-Birkhoff-Witt and Cartier-Milnor-Moore. We replace the operad As by families of free operads P, which include the operad Mag freely generated by a non-commutative non-associative binary operation and the operad of Stasheff polytopes. We obtain Poincaré-Birkhoff-Witt type theorems and collect information about the operads PrimP, e.g., in terms of characteristic functions.  相似文献

For any finite-dimensional Hopf algebra H   we construct a group homomorphism BiGal(H)→BrPic(Rep(H))BiGal(H)BrPic(Rep(H)), from the group of equivalence classes of H  -biGalois objects to the group of equivalence classes of invertible exact Rep(H)Rep(H)-bimodule categories. We discuss the injectivity of this map. We exemplify in the case H=TqH=Tq is a Taft Hopf algebra and for this we classify all exact indecomposable Rep(Tq)Rep(Tq)-bimodule categories.  相似文献

In this article we develop some of the basic constructions of the theory of Hopf algebras in the context of autonomous pseudomonoids in monoidal bicategories. We concentrate on the notion of Hopf modules. We study the existence and the internalisation of this notion, called the Hopf module construction. Our main result is the equivalence between the existence of a left dualization for A (i.e., A is left autonomous) and the validity of an analogue of the structure theorem of Hopf modules. In this case a Hopf module construction for A always exists. We recover from the general theory developed here results on coquasi-Hopf algebras.  相似文献

We introduce new polynomial invariants of a finite-dimensional semisimple and cosemisimple Hopf algebra A over a field by using the braiding structures of A. The coefficients of polynomial invariants are integers if is a finite Galois extension of Q, and A is a scalar extension of some finite-dimensional semisimple Hopf algebra over Q. Furthermore, we show that our polynomial invariants are indeed tensor invariants of the representation category of A, and recognize the difference between the representation category and the representation ring of A. Actually, by computing and comparing polynomial invariants, we find new examples of pairs of Hopf algebras whose representation rings are isomorphic, but whose representation categories are distinct.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider a finite dimensional semisimple cosemisimple quasitriangular Hopf algebra with (we call this type of Hopf algebras almost-quasitriangular) over an algebraically closed field . We denote by the vector space generated by the left tensorand of . Then is a sub-Hopf algebra of . We proved that when is odd, has a triangular structure and can be obtained from a group algebra by twisting its usual comultiplication [14]; when is even, is an extension of an abelian group algebra and a triangular Hopf algebra, and may not be triangular. In general, an almost-triangular Hopf algebra can be viewed as a cocycle bicrossproduct.   相似文献

We provide a polynomial realization of the Hopf algebra UBP of uniform block permutations defined by Orellana and Aguiar (2008) [11]. We describe an embedding of the dual of the Hopf algebra WQSym into UBP, and as a consequence, obtain a polynomial realization of it.  相似文献

Let L be a restricted Lie algebra over a field of characteristic p>2 and denote by u(L) its restricted enveloping algebra. We establish when the Lie algebra of skew-symmetric elements of u(L) under the principal involution is solvable, nilpotent, or satisfies an Engel condition.  相似文献

For any commutative algebra R the shuffle product on the tensor module T(R) can be deformed to a new product. It is called the quasi-shuffle algebra, or stuffle algebra, and denoted T q (R). We show that if R is the polynomial algebra, then T q (R) is free for some algebraic structure called Commutative TriDendriform (CTD-algebras). This result is part of a structure theorem for CTD-bialgebras which are associative as coalgebras and whose primitive part is commutative. In other words, there is a good triple of operads (As, CTD, Com) analogous to (Com, As, Lie). In the last part we give a similar interpretation of the quasi-shuffle algebra in the noncommutative setting.  相似文献

Hopf group-coalgebras   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2
We study algebraic properties of Hopf group-coalgebras, recently introduced by Turaev. We show the existence of integrals and traces for such coalgebras, and we generalize the main properties of quasitriangular and ribbon Hopf algebras to the setting of Hopf group-coalgebras.  相似文献

The exponent of a finite group G can be viewed as a Hopf algebraic invariant of the group algebra H=kG: it is the least integer n for which the nth Hopf power endomorphism [n] of H is trivial. The exponent of a group scheme G as studied by Gabriel and Tate and Oort can be defined in the same way using the coordinate Hopf algebra H=O(G).The power map and the corresponding notion of exponent have been studied for a general finite-dimensional Hopf algebra beginning with work of Kashina. Several positive results, suggested by analogy to the group case, were proved by Kashina and by Etingof and Gelaki.Given these positive results, there was some hope that the Hopf order of an individual element of a Hopf algebra might also be a well-behaved notion, with some properties analogous to well-known facts on the orders of elements of a finite group. In fact we prove that such analogous properties do hold for Hopf algebras satisfying the usual rule for iterated powers; for example, such a Hopf algebra H has an element of order n if and only if n divides the exponent of H. However, in general such properties are not true. We will give examples where the behavior of Hopf powers, Hopf orders, and related notions is rather strange, unexpected, and seemingly hard to predict. We will see this using computer algebra calculations in Drinfeld doubles of finite groups, and more generally in bismash products constructed from factorizable groups.  相似文献

We construct rank varieties for the Drinfeld double of the Taft algebra Λn and for uq(sl2). For the Drinfeld double when n=2 this uses a result which identifies a family of subalgebras that control projectivity of Λ-modules whenever Λ is a Hopf algebra satisfying a certain homological condition. In this case we show that our rank variety is homeomorphic to the cohomological support variety. We also show that Ext(M,M) is finitely generated over the cohomology ring of the Drinfeld double for any finitely generated module M.  相似文献

With an aim of exploring homological algebra for weak Hopf modules, this paper investigates the HOM-functor and presents the structure theorem for endomorphism algebras of weak two-sided (A,H)-Hopf modules, and gives the duality theorem for weak “big” smash products.  相似文献

We consider systems of combinatorial Dyson-Schwinger equations (briefly, SDSE) , … , in the Connes-Kreimer Hopf algebra HI of rooted trees decorated by I={1,…,N}, where is the operator of grafting on a root decorated by i, and F1,…,FN are non-constant formal series. The unique solution X=(X1,…,XN) of this equation generates a graded subalgebra H(S) of HI. We characterise here all the families of formal series (F1,…,FN) such that H(S) is a Hopf subalgebra. More precisely, we define three operations on SDSE (change of variables, dilatation and extension) and give two families of SDSE (cyclic and fundamental systems), and prove that any SDSE (S) such that H(S) is Hopf is the concatenation of several fundamental or cyclic systems after the application of a change of variables, a dilatation and iterated extensions.  相似文献

Every finite dimensional Hopf algebra is a Frobenius algebra, with Frobenius homomorphism given by an integral. The Nakayama automorphism determined by it yields a decomposition with degrees in a cyclic group. For a family of pointed Hopf algebras, we determine necessary and sufficient conditions for this decomposition to be strongly graded.  相似文献

Let (H,R) be a finite dimensional quasitriangular weak Hopf algebra over a field k. We first construct a weak Hopf algebra [Δ(1)(H?H)Δ(1)]R, which is based on the subalgebra of the tensor product algebra H?H. Next we verify that if H is factorizable, then the Drinfeld’s quantum double of H is isomorphic to [Δ(1)(H?H)Δ(1)]R.  相似文献

We show that the invariants of a free associative algebra of finite rank under a linear action of a finite-dimensional Hopf algebra generated by group-like and skew-primitive elements form a finitely generated algebra exactly when the action is scalar. This generalizes an analogous result for group actions by automorphisms obtained by Dicks and Formanek, and Kharchenko.  相似文献

We give explicit formulas for maps in a long exact sequence connecting bialgebra cohomology to Hochschild cohomology. We give a sufficient condition for the connecting homomorphism to be surjective. We apply these results to compute all bialgebra two-cocycles of certain Radford biproducts (bosonizations). These two-cocycles are precisely those associated to the finite dimensional pointed Hopf algebras in the recent classification of Andruskiewitsch and Schneider, in an interpretation of these Hopf algebras as graded bialgebra deformations of Radford biproducts.  相似文献

Given any bialgebra A and a braiding product 〈|〉 on A, a bialgebra U〈|〉 was constructed in [R. Larson, J. Towber, Two dual classes of bialgebras related to the concepts of “quantum group” and “quantum Lie algebra”, Comm. Algebra 19 (1991) 3295-3345], contained in the finite dual of A. This construction generalizes a (not very well known) construction of Fadeev, Reshetikhin and Takhtajan [L.D. Faddeev, N.Yu. Reshetikhin, L.A. Takhtajan, Quantum Groups. Braid Group, Knot Theory and Statistical Mechanics, in: Adv. Ser. Math. Phys., vol. 9, World Sci. Publishing, Teaneck, NJ, 1989, pp. 97-110]. In the present paper it is proved that when U〈|〉 is finite-dimensional (even if A is not), then it is a quasitriangular Hopf algebra.  相似文献
