We study a class of degenerate convection-diffusion equations with a fractional non-linear diffusion term. This class is a new, but natural, generalization of local degenerate convection-diffusion equations, and include anomalous diffusion equations, fractional conservation laws, fractional porous medium equations, and new fractional degenerate equations as special cases. We define weak entropy solutions and prove well-posedness under weak regularity assumptions on the solutions, e.g. uniqueness is obtained in the class of bounded integrable solutions. Then we introduce a new monotone conservative numerical scheme and prove convergence toward the entropy solution in the class of bounded integrable BV functions. The well-posedness results are then extended to non-local terms based on general Lévy operators, connections to some fully non-linear HJB equations are established, and finally, some numerical experiments are included to give the reader an idea about the qualitative behavior of solutions of these new equations.  相似文献

We study stochastic differential equations with jumps with no diffusion part, governed by a large class of stable-like operators, which may contain a drift term. For this class of operators, we establish the regularity of solutions to the Dirichlet problem up to the boundary as well as the usual stochastic characterization of these solutions. We also establish key connections between the recurrence properties of the jump process and the associated nonlocal partial differential operator. Provided that the process is positive (Harris) recurrent, we also show that the mean hitting time of a ball is a viscosity solution of an exterior Dirichlet problem.  相似文献

This study focuses on non-local boundary value problems (BVP) for elliptic differential-operator equations (DOE) defined in Banach-valued Besov (B) spaces. Here equations and boundary conditions contain certain parameters. This study found some conditions that guarantee the maximal regularity and fredholmness in Banach-valued B-spaces uniformly with respect to these parameters. These results are applied to non-local boundary value problems for a regular elliptic partial differential equation with parameters on a cylindrical domain to obtain algebraic conditions that guarantee the same properties.  相似文献

This paper deals with a class of non-local equations involving the fractional p-Laplacian, where the non-linear term is assumed to have critical exponential growth. More specifically, by applying variational methods together with a suitable Trudinger-Moser inequality for fractional Sobolev space, we obtain the existence of at least two positive weak solutions.  相似文献

The paper deals with the pathwise uniqueness of solutions to one-dimensional time homogeneous stochastic differential equations with a diffusion coefficient σ satisfying the local time condition and measurable drift term b. We show that if the functions σ and b satisfy a non-degeneracy condition and fundamental solution to considered equation is unique in law, then pathwise uniqueness of solutions holds. Our result is in some sense negative, more precisely we give an example of an equation with Holder continuous diffusion coefficient and nondegenerate drift for which a fundamental solution is not unique in law and pathwise uniqueness of solutions does not hold.  相似文献

In this article we consider the spectral properties of a class of non-local operators that arise from the study of non-local reaction-diffusion equations. Such equations are used to model a variety of physical and biological systems with examples ranging from Ohmic heating to population dynamics. The operators studied here are bounded perturbations of linear (local) differential operators. The non-local perturbation is in the form of an integral term. It is shown here that the spectral properties of these non-local operators can differ considerably from those of their local counterpart. Multiplicities of eigenvalues are studied and new oscillation results for the associated eigenfunctions are presented. These results highlight problems with certain similar results and provide an alternative formulation. Finally, the stability of steady states of associated non-local reaction-diffusion equations is discussed.  相似文献

In this paper, we review some results over the last 10-15 years on elliptic and parabolic equations with discontinuous coefficients. We begin with an approach given by N. V. Krylov to parabolic equations in the whole space with $\rm{VMO}_x$ coefficients. We then discuss some subsequent development including elliptic and parabolic equations with coefficients which are allowed to be merely measurable in one or two space directions, weighted $L_p$estimates with Muckenhoupt ($A_p$) weights, non-local elliptic and parabolic equations, as well as fully nonlinear elliptic and parabolic equations.  相似文献

We study large deviations for some non-local parabolic type equations. We show that, under some assumptions on the non-local term, problems defined in a bounded domain converge with an exponential rate to the solution of the problem defined in the whole space. We compute this rate in different examples, with different kernels defining the non-local term, and it turns out that the estimate of convergence depends strongly on the decay at infinity of that kernel.  相似文献

Generalised Einstein equations (Einstein equations with sources in thephysicist's grammar) can, in the Kähler setup, be seen ascohomological equations within the first Chern class. Introducing a twoparameter secondary class (or source term) to prescribe such acohomological relation, we characterise regions and paths of thoseparameters to ensure that the associated equation admits at least onesolution. Those regions could be seen, in the context of geometricanalysis, as a measure of the metric flexibility allowed within theKählerian rigidity. When the first Chern class is positive, the AubinTian constant and the bounds for the pluriharmonic concavity andconvexity of the source term characterise the bounds of that region.Taking into account the minimal regularity of the secondary class toensure the existence of classical solutions, we observe, in particular,an improvement of some results quoted in the literature in the contextof Calabi's conjecture.  相似文献

In this paper we consider some equations similar to Navier-Stokes equations, the three-dimensional Leray-alpha equations with space periodic boundary conditions. We establish the regularity of the equations by using the classical Faedo-Galerkin method. Our argument shows that there exist an unique weak solution and an unique strong solution for all the time for the Leray-alpha equations, furthermore, the strong solutions are analytic in time with values in the Gevrey class of functions (for the space variable). The relations between the Leray-alpha equations and the Navier-Stokes equations are also considered.  相似文献

In this paper, we consider the equations of Magnetohydrodynamics with Coulomb force which is of hyperbolic–parabolic–elliptic mixed type. By constructing the approximate solutions to the modified system with an artificial pressure term added, global existence of finite energy weak solutions is established via the weak convergence method. More careful argument has been paid to overcome the new difficulty arising from the Poisson term of Coulomb force in two dimensions when the adiabatic exponent is close to one. We also investigate the large-time behavior of such weak solutions after discussing the regularity and uniqueness of solutions to the stationary problem.  相似文献

In this paper, we study the regularity criterion for weak solutions to the incompressible magnetohydrodynamic equations. We derive the regularity of weak solutions in the marginal class. Moreover, our result demonstrates that the velocity field of the fluid plays a more dominant role than the magnetic field does on the regularity of solutions to the magnetohydrodynamic equations.  相似文献

By using a simple method based on the fractional integration by parts, we prove the existence and the Besov regularity of the density for solutions to stochastic differential equations driven by an additive Gaussian Volterra process. We assume weak regularity conditions on the drift. Several examples of Gaussian Volterra noises are discussed.  相似文献
