Aromatic carboxamides and 2-phenylpyridine derivatives can be ortho-alkylated with Grignard reagents in the presence of a cobalt catalyst and DMPU as a ligand. The reaction proceeds smoothly at room temperature, using air as the sole oxidant. The dialkylated product is selectively obtained when N-methylcarboxamide is employed as a substrate, whereas N-phenyl- or N-isopropylcarboxamide preferentially gives the monoalkylated product. 相似文献

[reaction: see text] A general, high yielding rapid iron-catalyzed cross-coupling reaction between Grignard reagents and imidoyl chlorides is described. These reactions are typically completed within 5 min, resulting in high yields of 71-96% using 5% iron catalyst in a THF-NMP solvent mixture. An efficient Fe(III)-catalyzed direct coupling of alkenes with alcohols and cross-coupling of alcohols with alcohols to give the corresponding substituted (E)-alkenes stereospecifically is demonstrated. Additionally, this reaction could be scaled up. The kinetic isotope effect (KIE) experiments indicated a typical secondary isotope effect in this process. Although benzylic alcohols were effective substrates, mild conditions, atom efficiency, environmental soundness, and stereospecificity are features that make this procedure very attractive. 相似文献

While the cross-coupling proceeds efficiently at alkenyl-S bonds, almost no cross-coupling takes place at aryl-S bonds, attesting to a unique selectivity of iron catalysis. An atom economical synthesis of isoquinolinones and analogues via ligand-free Pd-catalysed C-H and N-H double activation has been developed. A series of isoquinolinones were obtained in good to excellent yields. Good regioselectivities were also observed during the activation reactions with unsymmetrical alkynes. A practical one-pot procedure for the preparation of N-H isoquinolinones is also described. 相似文献

An asymmetric total synthesis of (-)-incarvillateine, a natural product having potent analgesic properties, has been achieved in 11 steps and 15.4% overall yield. The key step is a rhodium-catalyzed intramolecular alkylation of an olefinic C-H bond to set two stereocenters. Our previously reported intramolecular delta-selective C-H bond oxidation by dioxiranes, generated in situ from activated ketones, offers a novel approach to the synthesis of tetrahydropyrans. To synthesize substituted tetrahydropyrans in a stereoselective manner, we examined the effects of alkyl, nitrogen, and oxygen substituents at the alpha-, beta-, and gamma-sites of ketones on the stereoselectivities of intramolecular C-H bond oxidation reactions. Ketones 1-4 with a methyl group at the alpha-, beta-, or gamma-site showed the diastereoselectivities that agreed with the trans/cis ratio predicted by considering steric interactions in the transition states. Furthermore, ketones 5 and 6 carrying a bulky phthalimido group at the alpha- and the beta-sites, respectively, exhibited excellent stereoselectivity, each affording only one diastereomer. However, ketones 9 and 10 bearing beta-oxygen substituents gave reversed stereoselectivity as compared to those with beta-alkyl or nitrogen substituents, possibly because of the hydrogen bonding interaction in the transition state. For ketones 12 and 13, both bearing methyl and silyloxy groups, the hydrogen bonding interaction was probably more important than the steric effect on the diastereoselectivity of intramolecular oxidation of C-H bonds. 相似文献

Substituted 2-bromobenzaldehydes were synthesized from benzaldehydes using a three-step sequence involving a selective palladium-catalyzed ortho-bromination as the key step. O-Methyloxime serves as a directing group in this reaction. A rapid deprotection of substituted 2-bromobenzaldoximes afforded substituted 2-bromobenzaldehydes with good overall yields. 相似文献

Treatment of an alpha,beta-unsaturated ketimine with an alpha,beta-unsaturated carbonyl compound in the presence of a rhenium complex, Re2(CO)10, gave a cyclopentadienyl-rhenium complex. This reaction proceeds via rhenium-catalyzed C-H bond activation of an olefinic C-H bond, insertion of an alpha,beta-unsaturated carbonyl compound into a Re-C bond of the alkenylrhenium intermediate, intramolecular nucleophilic cyclization, reductive elimination, elimination of aniline to give a cyclopentadiene derivative, followed by the formation of a cyclopentadienyl-rhenium complex from the cyclopentadiene derivative and the rhenium complex. 相似文献

Pd-catalyzed aerobic oxidative coupling of anilides with olefins was achieved through selective C-H bond activation. Compared to the previous studies, not only did we successfully use molecular oxygen to replace the chemical oxidant, but we also obtained improved yields for a number of substrates.
