Prostanoids: LXXXIV. Synthons for New Halochlorvulones II from 6,7-Dichloro-1,4-dioxaspiro[4.4]non-6-en-8-one

By reaction of 6,7-dichloro-1,4-dioxaspiro[4.4]non-6-en-8-one with NaI and LiBr in boiling acetylacetone or methyl butyl ketone the corresponding 3-iodo and 3-bromo derivatives of cyclopentenone were prepared.

Synthesis and Characterization of S-Methylspiro[4.5]-dec-7-en-6-one and 6-methylspiro[4.5]dec-6-en-8-one

In connection with another problem, we required authentic samples of 8-methylsiro[4.5]dec-7-en-6-one (1) and 6-methyl-spire[4.5]dec-6-en-8-one (2). The former compound is not reported in the literature. Although there are two reports of the latter material,^1,2 the physical data ascribed to it do not agree. In this communication, we report the synthesis and characterization of the two isomers.     

Synthesis of 3-amino-8-hydroxy-1,6-dioxo-4-cyano-2,7-diazaspiro[4.4]non-3-en-2-ides ammonium salts

Reaction of 3-amino-8-hydroxy-1,6-dioxo-2,7-diazaspiro[4.4]non-3-en-4-carbonitriles with amines in 2-propanol at room temperature provided the corresponding ammonium salts of 3-amino-8-hydroxy-1,6-dioxo-4-cyano-2,7-diazaspiro[4.4]non-3-en-2-ides.

Reactions of 8-methyl-5-methylsulfanylmethyl-3-thiabicyclo-[3.3.1]non-7-en-6-one at the carbonyl group

The reduction of 8-methyl-5-methylsulfanylmethyl-3-thiabicyclo[3.3.1]non-7-en-6-one with aluminum hydride, lithium tetrahydridoaluminate, or lithium tris(tert-butoxy)hydridoaluminate in tetrahydrofuran gave 8-methyl-5-methylsulfanylmethyl-3-thiabicyclo[3.3.1]non-7-en-6-ol. 8-Methyl-5-methylsulfanylmethyl-3-thiabicyclo[3.3.1]nonan-6-ol was obtained by reduction of the title compound with sodium tetrahydridoborate in pyridine or dimethylformamide. The reaction of 8-methyl-5-methylsulfanylmethyl-3-thiabicyclo[3.3.1]non-7-en-6-one with hydroxylamine hydrochloride afforded the corresponding oxime.     

Synthesis of derivatives of benzofurazan and benzofuroxan based on 1,4-dioxaspiro[4,5]decan-8-one and 4-hydroxycyclohexanone

Starting from 1,4-dioxaspiro[4,5]decan-8-one and 4-hydroxycyclohexanone, we have synthesized derivatives of tetrahydrobenzofurazan and tetrahydrobenzofuroxan containing a hydroxy or dioxolane group in the 6 position of the ring. 合成2-丁基-1,3-二氮杂螺[4.4]壬-1-烯-4-酮的工艺改进

以1-氨基环戊腈草酸盐为起始原料,经双氧水水解、戊酰氯酰化、环合制得厄贝沙坦的关键中间体——2-丁基-1,3-二氮杂螺[4.4]壬-1-烯-4-酮,总产率80.9%,其结构经1H NMR,13C NMR和MS确证。     

Condensation of 4-benzamido-3-oxothiophan with acrolein. synthesis of 1-benzamido-4-hydroxy-6-thiabicyclo[3.2.1]-octan-8-one and 6-benzoyl-7-hydroxy-2-thia-6-azaspiro[4.4]-nonan-4-one

It is shown that acrolein adds to the 4 position (rather than to the 2 position) of 4-benzamido-3-oxothiophan under the influence of catalysts with basic character; the aldehyde group of the intermediate compound reacts with the amino group (if the reaction is carried out in chloroform) to give 6-benzoyl-7-hydroxy-2-thia-6-azaspiro[4.4]nonan-4-one or (if the reaction is carried out in a mixture of alcohol and chloroform) 1-benzamido-4-hydroxy-6-thiabicyclo-[3.2.1]octan-8-one as a result of intramolecular aldol condensation.Translated from Khimiya Geterotsiklicheskikh Soedinenii, No. 12, pp. 1620–1624, December, 1978.     

Synthesis and Characterization of New Chalcone Derivatives from cis-Bicyclo[3.2.0]hept-2-en-6-one

A series of chalcone derivatives (3a–k) were prepared via the reaction of cis-bicyclo[3.2.0]hept-2-en-6-one (1) with the respective arylaldehydes (2a–k) and were then characterized by Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), ¹H NMR, ¹³C NMR, and elemental analyses.
