A new homostilbene, named scillabene A (2), and two new homoisoflavones, named scillavones A (3) and B (4), were isolated from the bulbs of Scilla scilloides DRUCE (Liliaceae) along with 13 known compounds comprising a homostilbene, seven homoisoflavones, a xanthone, a lignan, and three nortriterpenes. The structures of 2-4 were characterized as 3,5,4'-trihydroxy-3'-methoxy-4-methyl-trans-stilbene, (3R)-5,7,2'-trihydroxy-3',4'-dimethoxyspiro{2H-1-benzopyran-7'-bicyclo[4,2,0]octa[1,3,5]-trien}-4-one and (3S)-3-(3,4-dihydroxybenzyl)-5-hydroxy-6,7-dimethoxychroman-4-one, respectively, on the basis of spectroscopic data and X-ray crystallographic analysis. 相似文献

Two new ichthyotoxic compounds, aspidin PB (8) and dryofragin (9), along with three known phloroglucinol derivatives (1-3) and five terpenoids, were isolated from the whole herbs of Dryopteris fragrans by toxicity-directed fractionation using Oryzias latipes (Japanese name; medaka). The structures of the new compounds were determined by spectroscopic methods including 2D NMR techniques. Amongst the isolates, aspidin PB (8), dryofragin (9), and 1-5 exhibited potent ichthyotoxic activity against medaka with a median tolerance limit (TLm after 24 h) of 1.2-4.3 microg/ml. These compounds which are toxic to fish also had a potent inhibitory effect on the activation of Epstein-Barr virus early-antigen (EBV-EA) induced by tetradecanoyl phorbol 13-acetate, which is an in vitro short-term assay for anti-tumor promoting agents. Aspidin BB (2) and albicanol (4), which exhibited strong inhibitory effects on the EBV-EA activation, significantly suppressed an in vivo two-stage carcinogenesis on mouse skin. 相似文献

Two new steroidal saponins, named nigrumnins I and II, together with two known saponins were obtained from the whole plant of Solanum nigrum L. On the basis of spectroscopic analysis (1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, 1H-1H COSY, TOCSY, HMQC, HMBC and FAB-MS), nigrumnin I was established as (25R)-5alpha-spirostan-3beta-ol 3-O-betaD-xylopyranosyl-(1-->3)-[alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl-(1 -->2)]-beta-D- glucopyranosyl-(1-->4)-[alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl(1-->2)]-beta-D- galactopyranoside (1), and nigrumnin II was elucidated as (25R)-3beta,17alpha-dihydroxy-5alpha-spirostan-1 2-one 3-O-beta-D-xylopyranosyl-(1-->3)-[alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl-(1--> 2)]-beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->4)-[alpha-L-rhamnopyra- nosyl-(1-->2)l-beta-D-galactopyranoside (2). 相似文献

In this study, the CH(2)Cl(2) extract from leaves of Piper chimonantifolium was subjected to several chromatographic separation procedures to afford one chromene (gaudichaudianic acid) as a major compound as well as two flavonoids (dihydrooroxylin and pinocembrin) and three steroids (sitosterol, sitosteryl palmitate and stigmasterol). The structures of all determined compounds were characterised by spectrometric analysis, mainly mass spectrometry and NMR, as well as their optical properties. This article describes the first phytochemical study of the leaves of P. chimonantifolium and an evaluation of the antifungal activity of its major compounds. 相似文献

Two furostane-type steroidal oligoglycosides (1, 2), together with a new pregnane-type oligoglycoside (3), were obtained from the seeds of Allium tuberosum ROTTLER. The phytochemical investigation of Scilla persica HAUSSKN bulbs led to the isolation of a novel homoisoflavonoid that named Scillapersicene (1) and identified as 3-(3′,4′-dihydroxybenzylidene)-8-hydroxy-5,7-dimethoxychroman-4-one along with five known homoisoflavonoids 2–6, whose structures were elucidated using HRFAB-MS, 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic data. The known compounds were identified as 3-(3′,4′-dihydroxybenzyl)-5,8-dihydroxy-7-methoxychroman-4-one (2), 3,9-dihydro-autumnalin (3), autumnalin (4), 3-(3′,4′-dihydroxybenzylidene)-5,8-dihydroxy-7-methoxychroman-4-one (5) and scillapersicone (6). All compounds obtained, expect 2 and 4, showed strong cytotoxic activity against AGS cell line. The toxicity on AGS cell line was measured by 1, 3, 5 and 6 with IC50 values of 8.4, 30.5, 10.7 and 24.2 μM, respectively. In addition, the physico-chemical properties of these natural compounds were optimised using density functional method (B3LYP) with standard 6-311+G* basis set. These natural products have low-energy gaps between the first ionisation potentials and highest occupied molecular orbital. In conclusion, the low-energy gap could cause reason for cytotoxic activity of homoisoflavonoids. 相似文献

AbstractOne new sesquiterpene (α-iso-cubebenol acetate, 8), together with 9 known compounds (1-7, 9, 10) were isolated from the stems of Schisandra chinensis (Turcz.) Baill. by repeated silica gel column chromatography. Based on the results of MS, NMR spectra and comparing with literature data, the six dibenzocyclooctadiene lignans were identified as schizandrin A to C (1-3), schizandrin (4), schisantherin A (5) and gomisin J (6), the two sesquiterpenes were identified as α-iso-cubebenol (7) and α-iso-cubebenol acetate (8), while the two triterpenic acids were identified as ganwuweizic acid (9) and kadsuric acid (10). The antifeedant activity of the 10 compounds against Tribolium castaneum adults was tested. Gomisin J (6) exhibited activity at 1500?ppm concentration with 40.3% antifeeding index percentages. As for the dibenzocyclooctene lignans (compounds 1–3, 6), the number of methylenedioxies and the position of hydroxyl groups were the main factors to affect their antifeedant activities. 相似文献

AbstractUsing a dual culture antagonism assay, Aspergillus niger exhibited 51.5?±?1.1% growth inhibition against Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. lycopersici, the wilt pathogen of tomato. For enhanced production of antifungal metabolites, nutrient optimization was performed and in vitro well-diffusion antifungal assays demonstrated that crude extract obtained from GPYB culture showed a maximum zone of inhibition (8.8?±?0.4?mm) against the wilt pathogen, which is corroborated by the comparative LCMS profiles of the extracts from all three media i.e. GPYB, YEB and PDB. Two known compounds, Asperazine (m/z 665 [M?+?H]+) and Nigerone (m/z 571 [M?+?H]+), were isolated from A. niger and their antifungal activity is reported here for the first time. In MIC experiments, Asperazine and Nigerone inhibited the pathogen at 60 and 80?µg·mL?1 respectively. Molecular docking studies of Nigerone and Asperazine with F. oxysporum tomatinase showed five and six binding interactions respectively. 相似文献

Phytochemical study of the leaves of the medicinal plant Isodon rubescens led to the isolation of three novel abietane diterpenoids, rubesanolides C-E (1-3). These diterpenes contain a unique γ-lactone subgroup formed between C-8 and C-20. Their structures were determined from analysis of spectroscopic data, and were further confirmed by X-ray crystallographic data. The compounds were evaluated for their antibacterial activity, and rubesanolide D (2) demonstrated inhibition activity against biofilm formation of the dental bacterium Streptococcus mutans. 相似文献

Activity-guided fractionation of twigs of Pistacia chinensis resulted in the isolation and characterization of two novel ingredients as potent estrogen agonists. On the basis of spectral analysis and comparison with a related compound their structures were elucidated as 3,3'-dimers of 4-aryldihydrocoumarins (3,4-dihydro-4-(4'-hydroxyphenyl)-7-hydroxycoumarin) differing only in the stereochemical disposition of the linkage between the two 4-arylcoumarin moieties. An improved synthesis of gamma-hydroxybutenolides 1a-d was achieved via crossed aldol condensation between aldehydes 2a-d and the protected gamma-hydroxy-beta-methylbutenolides 3 or 4 using the bulky Lewis acid, aluminum tris(2,6-diphenylphenoxide) (ATPH). Using this same methodology, the gamma-hydroxybutenolides 17a-d having various heteroaromatic rings were synthesized and their anti-tumor activities were evaluated. 相似文献
