Reaction of the 17-electron radical (*)Cr(CO)(3)Cp* (Cp* = C(5)Me(5)) with 0.5 equiv of 2-aminophenyl disulfide [(o-H(2)NC(6)H(4))(2)S(2)] results in rapid oxidative addition to form the initial product (o-H(2)N)C(6)H(4)S-Cr(CO)(3)Cp*. Addition of a second equivalent of (*)Cr(CO)(3)Cp* to this solution results in the formation of H-Cr(CO)(3)Cp* as well as (1)/(2)[[eta(2)-o-(mu-NH)C(6)H(4)S]CrCp*](2). Spectroscopic data show that (o-H(2)N)C(6)H(4)S-Cr(CO)(3)Cp* loses CO to form [eta(2)-(o-H(2)N)C(6)H(4)S]Cr(CO)(2)Cp*. Attack on the N-H bond of the coordinated amine by (*)Cr(CO)(3)Cp* provides a reasonable mechanism consistent with the observation that both chelate formation and oxidative addition of the N-H bond are faster under argon than under CO atmosphere. The N-H bonds of uncoordinated aniline do not react with (*)Cr(CO)(3)Cp*. Reaction of the 2 mol of (*)Cr(CO)(3)Cp* with 1,2-benzene dithiol [1,2-C(6)H(4)(SH)(2)] yields the initial product (o-HS)C(6)H(4)S-Cr(CO)(3)Cp and 1 mol of H-Cr(CO)(3)Cp*. Addition of 1 equiv more of (*)Cr(CO)(3)Cp to this solution also results in the formation of 1 equiv of H-Cr(CO)(3)Cp*, as well as the dimeric product (1)/(2)[[eta(2)-o-(mu-S)C(6)H(4)S]CrCp*](2). This reaction also occurs more rapidly under Ar than under CO, consistent with intramolecular coordination of the second thiol group prior to oxidative addition. The crystal structures of [[eta(2)-o-(mu-NH)C(6)H(4)S]CrCp*](2) and [[eta(2)-o-(mu-S)C(6)H(4)S]CrCp*](2) are reported.  相似文献

The reaction of the mixed-valent metal triangles [Mn(3)O(O(2)CR)(6)(py)(3)] (R = CH(3), Ph, C(CH(3))(3)) with the tripodal ligands H(3)thme (1,1,1-tris(hydroxymethyl)ethane) and H(3)tmp (1,1,1-tris(hydroxymethyl)propane) in MeCN, produces a family of manganese rodlike complexes whose structures are all derived from a series of edge-sharing triangles. Variable temperature direct current (dc) magnetic susceptibility data were collected for all complexes in the 1.8-300 K temperature range in fields up to 7.0 T. Complex 1, [Mn(12)O(4)(OH)(2)(PhCOO)(12)(thme)(4)(py)(2)], has an S = 7 ground state with the parameters g = 1.98 and D = -0.13 K. Complex 2, [Mn(8)O(4)((CH(3))(3)CCO(2))(10)(thme)(2)(py)(2)] has a ground state of S = 6, with g = 1.81 and D = -0.36 K. Complex 3, [Mn(7)O(2)(PhCO(2))(9)(thme)(2)(py)(3)], has a spin ground states of S = 7 with the parameters g = 1.78 and D = -0.20 K. The best fit for complex 4, [Mn(6)((CH(3))(3)CCO(2))(8)(tmp)(2)(py)(2)], gave a spin ground state of S = 3 with the parameters g = 1.73 and D = -0.75 K, but was of poorer quality than that normally obtained. The presence of multiple Mn(2+) ions in the structure of 4 leads to the presence of low-lying excited states with energy levels very close to the ground state, and in the case of complex 5, [Mn(6)(CH(3)CO(2))(6)(thme)(2)(H(2)tea)(2)], no satisfactory fit of the data was obtained. DFT calculations on 4 and 5 indicate complexes with spin ground states of S = 4 and S = 0 respectively, despite their topological similarities. Single-crystal hysteresis loop and relaxation measurements show complex 1 to be a SMM.  相似文献

Reaction of Cu(ClO(4))(2) x 6H(2)O with a racemic mixture of the novel chiral ligand N-(1,2-bis(2-pyridyl)ethyl)pyridine-2-carboxamide (PEAH) affords only the homochiral dimeric copper(II) complexes [Cu(2)((R)()PEA)(2)](ClO(4))(2) and [Cu(2)((S)()PEA)(2)](ClO(4))(2) in a 1:1 ratio. The phenomenon of molecular self-recognition is also observed when a racemic mixture of the monomeric copper(II) complex [Cu((R(S))()PEA)(Cl)(H(2)O)] is converted into the homochiral dimeric species [Cu(2)((R(S))()PEA)(2)](ClO(4))(2) via reaction with Ag(+) ion. This is the first report of direct conversion of a racemic mixture of a chiral monomeric copper(II) complex to a mixture of the homochiral dimers.  相似文献

The reactivity of the bridged chloroborylene complex [mu-BCl((eta(5)-C(5)H(4)Me)Mn(CO)(2))(2)] (1) toward pyridine was investigated under various conditions. In the presence of protic reagents such as H[Co(CO)(4)] or H[BF(4)], the formation of the aminoborylene complex [1-(mu-B)-4-H-(NC(5)H(5))((C(5)H(4)Me)Mn(CO)(2))(2)] (2) was observed. Compound 2 represents the product of an unprecedented formal 1,4-hydroboration of pyridine. Corresponding reactions of 1 with pyridine and Tl[PF(6)] afforded 2 in similar yields, thus providing evidence that the abstraction of the boron bound chloride initiates the observed reaction. Complex 2 was fully characterized in solution and in the crystal.  相似文献

Two new one-dimensional heterometallic complexes, [Mn(3)Na(L)(4)(CH(3)CO(2))(MeOH)(2)](ClO(4))(2)·3H(2)O (1), [Mn(3)Na(L)(4)(CH(3)CH(2)CO(2))(MeOH)(2)](ClO(4))(2)·2MeOH·H(2)O (2) [LH(2) = 2-methyl-2-(2-pyridyl)propane-1,3-diol], have been synthesized and characterized by X-ray crystallography. Both complexes feature Mn(II) and Na(I) ions in trigonal-prismatic geometries that are linked to octahedral Mn(IV) ions by alkoxy bridges. Variable-temperature direct- and alternating-current magnetic susceptibility data indicated a spin ground state of S = 11/2 for both complexes. Density functional theory calculations performed on 1 supported this conclusion.  相似文献

Two new terpyridine dimanganese oxo complexes [Mn(2)(III,IV)(mu-O)(2)(terpy)(2)(CF(3)CO(2))(2)](+) (3) and [Mn(2)(III,III)(mu-O)(terpy)(2)(CF(3)CO(2))(4)] (4) (terpy = 2,2':6,2' '-terpyridine) have been synthesized and their X-ray structures determined. In contrast to the corresponding mixed-valent aqua complex [Mn(2)(III,IV)(mu-O)(2)(terpy)(2)(H(2)O)(2)](3+) (1), the two Mn atoms in 3 are not crystallographically equivalent. The neutral binuclear monooxo manganese(III,III) complex 4 exhibits two crystallographic forms having cis and trans configurations. In the cis complex, the two CF(3)CO(2)(-) ligands on each manganese adopt a cis geometry to each other; one CF(3)CO(2)(-) is trans to the oxygen of the oxo bridge while the second is cis. In the trans complex, the two coordinated CF(3)CO(2)(-) have a trans geometry to each other and are cis to the oxo bridge. The electrochemical behavior of 3 in organic medium (CH(3)CN) shows that this complex could be oxidized into its corresponding stable manganese(IV,IV) species while its reduced form manganese(III,III) is very unstable and leads by a disproportionation process to Mn(II) and Mn(IV) complexes. Complex 4 is only stable in the solid state, and it disproportionates spontaneously in CH(3)CN solution into the mixed-valent complex 3 and the mononuclear complex [Mn(II)(terpy)(2)](2+) (2), thereby preventing the observation of its electrochemical behavior.  相似文献

1,3-Diaryl-4H-cyclopenta[c]thiophenes are efficiently prepared from 1,2-diaroylcyclopentadienes by use of Lawesson's reagent. eta5-Cyclopenta[c]thienyl complexes, [Mn(eta5-SC7H3-1,3-R2)(CO)3] (R = Me, Ph), are prepared in high yield by ligand substitution reactions of [MnBr(CO)5] with [SnMe3(SC7H3-1,3-R2)]. Alternatively, thiation with P4S10/NaHCO3 converts [Mn{eta5-1,2-C5H3(COR)2)(CO)3] to [Mn(eta5-SC7H3-1,3-R2)(CO)3] (R = Ph, 4-tolyl, 4-MeOC6H4, benzo[2,3-b]thienyl). The molecular structures of complexes with R = Me, Ph show planar eta5-cyclopenta[c]thienyl ligands, with the manganese atom slightly displaced away from the ring-fusion bond.  相似文献

The synthesis, magnetic characterization and X-ray crystal structures are reported for five new manganese compounds, [Mn(III)(teaH(2))(sal)]·(1/2)H(2)O (1), [Na(I)(2)Mn(II)(4)Mn(III)(4)(teaH)(6)(sal)(4)(N(3))(2)(MeOH)(4)]·6MeOH (2), [Na(I)(2)Mn(II)(4)Mn(III)(4)(teaH)(6)(sal)(4)(N(3))(2)(MeOH)(2)](n)·7MeOH (3), [Na(I)(2)Mn(II)(4)Mn(III)(4)(teaH)(6)(sal)(4)(N(3))(2)(MeOH)(2)](n)·2MeOH·Et(2)O (4) and [K(I)(2)Mn(II)(4)Mn(III)(4)(teaH)(6)(sal)(4)(N(3))(2)(H(2)O)(2)](n)·5MeOH (5). Complex 1 is a mononuclear compound, formed via the reaction of Mn(NO(3))(2)·4H(2)O, triethanolamine (teaH(3)) and salicylic acid (salH(2)) in a basic methanolic solution. Compound 2 is a mixed-valent hetero-metallic cluster made up of a Mn(8)Na(2) decanuclear core and is formed via the reaction of sodium azide (NaN(3)) with 1. Compounds 3-5 are isolated as 1- or 2-D coordination polymers, each containing the decanuclear Mn(8)M(2) (M = Na(+) or K(+)) core building block as the repeating unit. Compound 3 is isolated when 1 is reacted with NaN(3) over a very short reaction time and forms a 1-D coordination polymer. Each unit displays inter-cluster bridges via the O-atoms of teaH(2-) ligands bonding to the sodium ions of an adjacent cluster. Increasing the reaction time appears to drive the formation of 4 which forms 2-D polymeric sheets and is a packing polymorph of 3. The addition of KMnO(4) and NaN(3) to 1 resulted in compound 5, which also forms a 1-D coordination polymer of the decanuclear core unit. The 1-D chains are now linked via inter-cluster potassium and salicylate bridges. Solid state DC susceptibility measurements were performed on compounds 1-5. The data for 1 are as expected for an S = 2 Mn(III) ion, with the isothermal M vs. H data being fitted by matrix diagonalization methods to give values of g and the axial (D) and rhombic (E) zero field splitting parameters of 2.02, -2.70 cm(-1) and 0.36 cm(-1) respectively. The data for 2-5, each with an identical Mn(II)(4)Mn(III)(4) metallic core, indicates large spin ground states, with likely values of S = 16 (±1) for each. Solid state AC susceptibility measurements confirm the large spin ground state values and is also suggestive of SMM behaviour for 2-5 as observed via the onset of frequency dependent out-of-phase peaks.  相似文献

Treatment of Mn(2)(CO)(10) with 3,4-toluenedithiol and 1,2-ethanedithiol in the presence of Me(3)NO.2H(2)O in CH(2)Cl(2) at room temperature afforded the dinuclear complexes Mn(2)(CO)(6)(mu-eta(4)-SC(6)H(3)(CH(3))S-SC(6)H(3)(CH(3))S) (1), and Mn(2)(CO)(6)(mu-eta(4)-SCH(2)CH(2)S-SCH(2)CH(2)S) (2), respectively. Similar reactions of Re(2)(CO)(10) with 3,4-toluenedithiol, 1,2-benzenedithiol, and 1,2-ethanedithiol yielded the dirhenium complexes Re(2)(CO)(6)(mu-eta(4)-SC(6)H(3)(CH(3))S-SC(6)H(3)(CH(3))S) (3), Re(2)(CO)(6)(mu-eta(4)-SC(6)H(4)S-SC(6)H(4)S) (4), and Re(2)(CO)(6)(SCH(2)CH(2)S-SCH(2)CH(2)S) (5), respectively. In contrast, treatment of Mn(2)(CO)(10) with 1,3-propanedithiol afforded the trimanganese compound Mn(3)(CO)(6)(mu-eta(2)-SCH(2)CH(2)CH(2)S)(3) (6), whereas Re(2)(CO)(10) gave only intractable materials. The molecular structures of 1, 3, and 6 have been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction studies. The dimanganese and dirhenium carbonyl compounds 1-5contain a binucleating disulfide ligand, formed by interligand disulfide bond formation between two dithiolate ligands identical in structure to that of the previously reported dimanganese complex Mn(2)(CO)(6)(mu-eta(4)-SC(6)H(4)S-SC(6)H(4)S). Complex 6, on the other hand, forms a unique example of a mixed-valence trimangenese carbonyl compound containing three bridging 1,3-propanedithiolate ligands. The solution properties of 6 have been investigated by UV-vis and EPR spectroscopies as well as electrochemical techniques.  相似文献

Manganese alkyl complexes stabilised by 2,6-bis(N,N'-2,6-diisopropyl-phenyl)acetaldiminopyridine ((iPr)BIP) have been selectively prepared by reacting suitable alkylmanganese(II) precursors, such as homoleptic dialkyls [(MnR(2))(n)] or the corresponding THF adducts [{MnR(2)(thf)}(2)] with the mentioned ligand. For R=CH(2)CMe(2)Ph or CH(2)Ph, formally Mn(I) derivatives are produced, in which one of the two R groups migrates to the 4-position of the central pyridine ring in the (iPr)BIP ligand. In contrast, a true dialkyl complex [MnR(2)((iPr)BIP)] can be isolated for R=CH(2)SiMe(3). In solution, this compound slowly evolves to the corresponding Mn(I) monoalkyl derivative. A detailed study of this reaction provides insights on its mechanism, showing that it proceeds through successive alkyl migrations, followed by spontaneous dehydrogenation. Protonation of [Mn(CH(2)SiMe(3))(2)((iPr)BIP)] with the pyridinium salt [H(Py)(2)][BAr'(4)] (Ar'=3,5-C(6)H(3)(CF(3))(2)) leads to the cationic species [Mn(CH(2)SiMe(3))(Py)((iPr)BIP)](+). Alternatively, the same complex can be produced by reaction of the pyridine complex [{Mn(CH(2)SiMe(3))(2)(Py)}(2)] with the protonated ligand salt [H(iPr)BIP](+)[BAr'(4)](-). This last reaction allows the synthesis of analogous cationic alkylmanganese(II) derivatives, when precursors of type [MnR(2)((iPr)BIP)] are not available. Treatment of these neutral and cationic (iPr)BIP alkylmanganese derivatives with a range of typical co-catalysts (modified methylaluminoxane (MMAO), B(C(6)F(5))(3), trimethyl or triisobutylaluminum) does not lead to active ethylene polymerisation catalysts.  相似文献

The reaction of manganese(II) salts with organophosphonic acid [t-BuPO(3)H(2) or cyclopentyl phosphonic acid (C(5)H(9)PO(3)H(2))] in the presence of ancillary nitrogen ligands [1,10-phenanthroline (phen) or 2,6-bis(pyrazol-3-yl)pyridine (dpzpy)], afforded, depending on the stoichiometry of the reactants and the reaction conditions, dinuclear, trinuclear, and tetranuclear compounds, [Mn(2)(t-BuPO(3)H)(4)(phen)(2)]·2DMF (1), [Mn(3)(C(5)H(9)PO(3))(2)(phen)(6)](ClO(4))(2)·7CH(3)OH (2), [Mn(3)(t-BuPO(3))(2)(dpzpy)(3)](ClO(4))(2)·H(2)O (3), [Mn(4)(t-BuPO(3))(2)(t-BuPO(3)H)(2)(phen)(6)(H(2)O)(2)](ClO(4))(2) (4), and [Mn(4)(C(5)H(9)PO(3))(2)(phen)(8)(H(2)O)(2)](ClO(4))(4) (5). Magnetic studies on 1, 2, and 4 reveal that the phosphonate bridges mediate weak antiferromagnetic interactions between the Mn(II) ions have also been carried out.  相似文献

The ruthenium(II) complexes [Ru(R)(κ(2)-S(2)C·IPr)(CO)(PPh(3))(2)](+) (R = CH=CHBu(t), CH=CHC(6)H(4)Me-4, C(C≡CPh)=CHPh) are formed on reaction of IPr·CS(2) with [Ru(R)Cl(CO)(BTD)(PPh(3))(2)] (BTD = 2,1,3-benzothiadiazole) or [Ru(C(C≡CPh)=CHPh)Cl(CO)(PPh(3))(2)] in the presence of ammonium hexafluorophosphate. Similarly, the complexes [Ru(CH=CHC(6)H(4)Me-4)(κ(2)-S(2)C·ICy)(CO)(PPh(3))(2)](+) and [Ru(C(C≡CPh)=CHPh)(κ(2)-S(2)C·ICy)(CO)(PPh(3))(2)](+) are formed in the same manner when ICy·CS(2) is employed. The ligand IMes·CS(2) reacts with [Ru(R)Cl(CO)(BTD)(PPh(3))(2)] to form the compounds [Ru(R)(κ(2)-S(2)C·IMes)(CO)(PPh(3))(2)](+) (R = CH=CHBu(t), CH=CHC(6)H(4)Me-4, C(C≡CPh)=CHPh). Two osmium analogues, [Os(CH=CHC(6)H(4)Me-4)(κ(2)-S(2)C·IMes)(CO)(PPh(3))(2)](+) and [Os(C(C≡CPh)=CHPh)(κ(2)-S(2)C·IMes)(CO)(PPh(3))(2)](+) were also prepared. When the more bulky diisopropylphenyl derivative IDip·CS(2) is used, an unusual product, [Ru(κ(2)-SC(H)S(CH=CHC(6)H(4)Me-4)·IDip)Cl(CO)(PPh(3))(2)](+), with a migrated vinyl group, is obtained. Over extended reaction times, [Ru(CH=CHC(6)H(4)Me-4)Cl(BTD)(CO)(PPh(3))(2)] also reacts with IMes·CS(2) and NH(4)PF(6) to yield the analogous product [Ru{κ(2)-SC(H)S(CH=CHC(6)H(4)Me-4)·IMes}Cl(CO)(PPh(3))(2)](+)via the intermediate [Ru(CH=CHC(6)H(4)Me-4)(κ(2)-S(2)C·IMes)(CO)(PPh(3))(2)](+). Structural studies are reported for [Ru(CH=CHC(6)H(4)Me-4)(κ(2)-S(2)C·IPr)(CO)(PPh(3))(2)]PF(6) and [Ru(C(C≡CPh)=CHPh)(κ(2)-S(2)C·ICy)(CO)(PPh(3))(2)]PF(6).  相似文献

The gas-phase reactions of a series of (di)manganese carbonyl positive ions with 1,4,7-trimethyl-1,4,7-triazacyclononane (Me(3)TACN) have been examined with the aid of Fourier transform ion cyclotron resonance (FTICR) mass spectrometry. The monomanganese carbonyl ions, [Mn(CO)(n)](+) (n = 2-5), react predominantly by ligand exchange and to a minor extent by electron transfer with the formation of the radical cation of Me(3)TACN. For the [Mn(CO)(n)](+) (n = 2-4) ions, the ligand exchange results in the exclusive formation of a [Mn(Me(3)TACN)](+) complex, whereas small amounts of [Mn(CO)(Me(3)TACN)](+) ions are also generated in the reactions of the [Mn(CO)(5)](+) ion. The [Mn(2)(CO)(n)](+) ions (n = 2, 4 and 5) react also by competing electron transfer and ligand exchange. The reaction of the [Mn(2)(CO)(2)](+) and [Mn(2)(CO)(4)](+) ions is associated with cleavage of the Mn--Mn bond as evidenced by the pronounced formation of [Mn(Me(3)TACN)](+) ions. For [Mn(2)(CO)(5)](+), the ligand exchange leads mainly to the formation of [Mn(2)(CO)(n)(Me(3)TACN)](+) (n = 1-3) ions. These primary product ions react subsequently by the incorporation of a second Me(3)TACN molecule to afford [Mn(2)(CO)(Me(3)TACN)(2)](+) and [Mn(2)(CO)(2)(Me(3)TACN)(2)](+) ions. Both of these latter species incorporate an oxygen molecule with formation of ions with the assigned composition of [Mn(2)(O(2))(CO)(Me(3)TACN)(2)](+) and [Mn(2)(O(2))(CO)(2)(Me(3)TACN)(2)](+).  相似文献

From the reaction of [Mn(III)(3)(micro-O)(micro-CH(3)CO(2))(6)]CH(3)CO(2) (manganese(III) acetate) and 2-anilino-4,6-di-tert-butylphenol (1:3) in methanol under anaerobic conditions, dark brown-black crystals of [Mn(III)(L(ISQ))(2)(L(AP))] (1) were obtained in approximately 30% yield. (L(AP))(-) represents the closed-shell o-aminophenolate(-) form of the above ligand, and (L(ISQ))(-) is the monoanionic pi radical form o-iminobenzosemiquinonate(-) (S(rad) = 1/2). Complex 1 can be deprotonated at the (L(AP))(-) ligand and one-electron-oxidized by air, yielding crystals of [Mn(IV)(L(ISQ))(2)(L(AP)-H)] (2), where (L(AP)-H)(2-) represents the closed-shell, dianionic o-amidophenolate(2-) form of the above ligand. The structures of 1 and 2 have been determined by X-ray crystallography at 100 K. The protonation and oxidation levels of the ligands and of the metal ions have been unequivocally established: both complexes contain two pi radical ligands, 1 contains a Mn(III) ion, and 2 contains a Mn(IV) ion. The spins of the radicals (S(rad) = 1/2) couple strongly antiferromagnetically with the d(4) and d(3) configuration of the Mn ions in 1 and 2, respectively, yielding the observed ground states of S = 1 for 1 and S = (1)/(2) for 2. This has been established by temperature-dependent susceptibility measurements (2-300 K) and S- and X-band EPR spectroscopy.  相似文献

A family of hexa-coordinated ruthenium(II) complexes of bis(N-pyridylimidazolylidenyl)methane (L) were prepared and structurally characterized. Carbene transfer reactions of [Ru(p-cymene)Cl(2)](2), [Ru(CO)(2)Cl(2)](n) and RuHCl(CO)(PPh(3))(3) with silver-NHC complexes in situ generated from [H(2)L](PF(6))(2) and Ag(2)O afforded [RuL(CH(3)CN)(2)](PF(6))(2) (1), [Ru(2)L(p-cymene)(2)Cl(2)](PF(6))(2) (2), [RuL(CO)(2)](PF(6))(2) (3) and [RuL(PPh(3))(2)](PF(6))(2) (4), respectively. The reactions of 1 towards several N- and P-donors were studied. The treatment of 1 with 1,10-phenanthroline resulted in the substitution of one pyridine and one acetonitrile molecule affording [RuL(phen)(CH(3)CN)](PF(6))(2) (5) as a mixture of two isomers. Reaction of 1,2-bis(diphenylphosphino)ethane (dppe) and 1 gave [RuL(dppe)(CH(3)CN)(2)](PF(6))(2) (7), in which two pyridines were substituted by a dppe ligand trans to two NHC groups. In contrast, reactions of 1 with ethane-1,2-diamine, propane-1,3-diamine and 3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazole led to the substitution of acetonitrile and subsequent N-H addition of the C≡N bond of the coordinated acetonitrile yielding [RuL(ethane-1,2-diamine)(N-(2-aminoethyl)acetimidamide)](PF(6))(2) (8), [RuL(propane-1,3-diamine)(N-(3-aminopropyl)acetimidamide)](PF(6))(2) (9) and RuL(1-(3,5-dimethyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)ethanimine)(CH(3)CN)](PF(6))(2) (10), respectively.  相似文献

Reaction of FvW(2)(H)(2)(CO)(6) with 2/8S(8) in THF results in rapid and quantitative formation of FvW(2)(SH)(2)(CO)(6). The crystal structure of this complex is reported and shows that the two tungsten-hydrosulfide groups are on opposite faces of the fulvalene ligand in an anti configuration. Nevertheless, treatment of FvW(2)(SH)(2)(CO)(6) (1) with PhN[double bond]NPh produces FvW(2)(mu-S(2))(CO)(6) (2) and Ph(H)NN(H)Ph. The crystal structure of the bridging disulfide, which cocrystallizes with 1 in a 2:1 ratio, is also described. Exposure of 2 equiv of *CrCp*(CO)(3) to 1 effects similar H atom transfers yielding 2 HCrCp*(CO)(3) and 2. Attempts to obtain crystals of the latter from solutions derived from this reaction mixture furnished a third product, FvW(2)(mu-S)(CO)(6) (3), which was analyzed crystallographically. The enthalpy of sulfur atom insertion into FvW(2)(H)(2)(CO)(6), yielding 1, has been measured by solution calorimetry.  相似文献

The reaction of Mn(2)(CO)(9)(NCMe) with thiirane yielded the sulfidomanganese carbonyl compounds Mn(2)(CO)(7)(mu-S(2)), 2, Mn(4)(CO)(15)(mu(3)-S(2))(mu(4)-S(2)), 3, and Mn(4)(CO)(14)(NCMe)(mu(3)-S(2))(mu(4)-S(2)), 4, by transfer of sulfur from the thiirane to the manganese complex. Compound 3 was obtained in better yield from the reaction of 2 with CO, and compound 4 is obtained from the reaction of 2 with NCMe. The hybrid dibismuthines O(CH(2)CH(2)BiPh(2))(2) and MeN(CH(2)-2-C(6)H(4)BiPh(2))(2) react with [M(CO)(5)(thf)] (M = Cr or W) to form [{M(CO)(5)}(2){O(CH(2)CH(2)BiPh(2))(2)}] and [{Cr(CO)(5)}(2){MeN(CH(2)-2-C(6)H(4)BiPh(2))(2)}] containing bridging bidentate (Bi(2)) coordination. The unsymmetrical tertiary bismuthine complexes [M(CO)(5){BiPh(2)(o-C(6)H(4)OMe)}] are also described. Depending upon the molar ratio, the hybrid distibines O(CH(2)CH(2)SbMe(2))(2) and MeN(CH(2)-2-C(6)H(4)SbMe(2))(2) react with [M(CO)(5)(thf)] to give the pentacarbonyl complexes [{M(CO)(5)}(2){O(CH(2)CH(2)SbMe(2))(2)}] and [{Cr(CO)(5)}(2){MeN(CH(2)-2-C(6)H(4)SbMe(2))(2)}] or tetracarbonyls cis-[M(CO)(4){O(CH(2)CH(2)SbMe(2))(2)}] and cis-[M(CO)(4){MeN(CH(2)-2-C(6)H(4)SbMe(2))(2)}]. The latter can also be obtained from [Cr(CO)(4)(nbd)] or [W(CO)(4)(pip)(2)], and contain chelating bidentates (Sb(2)-coordinated) as determined crystallographically. S(CH(2)-2-C(6)H(4)SbMe(2))(2) coordinates as a tridentate (SSb(2)) in fac-[M(CO)(3){S(CH(2)-2-C(6)H(4)SbMe(2))(2)}] (M = Cr or Mo) and fac-[Mn(CO)(3){S(CH(2)-2-C(6)H(4)SbMe(2))(2)}][CF(3)SO(3)]. Fac-[Mn(CO)(3){MeN(CH(2)-2-C(6)H(4)SbMe(2))(2)}][CF(3)SO(3)] contains NSb(2)-coordinated ligand in the solid state, but in solution a second species, Sb(2)-coordinated and with a κ(1)-CF(3)SO(3) replacing the coordinated amine is also evident. X-ray crystal structures were also determined for fac-[Cr(CO)(3){S(CH(2)-2-C(6)H(4)SbMe(2))(2)}], fac-[Mn(CO)(3){S(CH(2)-2-C(6)H(4)SbMe(2))(2)}][CF(3)SO(3)] and fac-[Mn(CO)(3){MeN(CH(2)-2-C(6)H(4)SbMe(2))(2)}] [CF(3)SO(3)]. Hypervalent N···Sb interactions are present in cis-[M(CO)(4){MeN(CH(2)-2-C(6)H(4)SbMe(2))(2)}] (M = Mo or W), but absent for M = Cr.  相似文献

The synthesis, structures and magnetic properties of two hexanuclear Mn(6) clusters are reported: Mn(6)(mu(4)-O)(2)(dapdo)(2)(dapdoH)(4)(mu(2)-OH)(2)](ClO(4))(2).6MeCN (.6MeCN) and [Mn(6)(mu(4)-O)(2)(dapdo)(2)(dapdoH)(4)(mu(2)-OCH(3))(2)](ClO(4))(2).2Et(2)O (.2Et(2)O) [dapdo(2-) is the dianion of 2,6-diacetylpyridine dioxime and dapdoH(-) is the monoanion of the aforesaid dioxime ligand]. Both complexes are mixed-valent with two Mn(II) and four Mn(III) atoms disposed in an edge-sharing bitetrahedral core. Both complexes and display the same [Mn(III)(4)Mn(II)(2)(mu(4)-O)(2)(mu(2)-OR)(2)](10+) core in which R = H for and R = Me for . The [Mn(III)(4)Mn(II)(2)] core is rather uncommon compared to the reported [Mn(III)(2)Mn(II)(4)] core in the literature. DC magnetic susceptibility measurements on and reveal the presence of competing exchange interactions resulting in an S(t) = 5 ground spin state. The magnetic behavior of the compounds indicates antiferromagnetic coupling between the manganese(iii) centers, whereas the coupling between the manganese(iii) and manganese(ii) is weakly antiferromagnetic or ferromagnetic depending on the bridging environments. Finally the interaction between the manganese(ii) centers from the two fused tetrahedra is weakly ferromagnetic in nature stabilizing S(t) = 5 ground spin state in compounds and .  相似文献

Four new binuclear Mn(III) complexes with carboxylate bridges have been synthesized: [[Mn(nn)(H(2)O)](2)(mu-ClCH(2)COO)(2)(mu-O)](ClO(4))(2) with nn = bpy (1) or phen (2) and [[Mn(bpy)(H(2)O)](2)(mu-RCOO)(2)(mu-O)](NO(3))(2) with RCOO = ClCH(2)COO (3) or CH(3)COO (4). The characterization by X-ray diffraction (1 and 3) and X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) (1-4) displays the relevance of this spectroscopy to the elucidation of the structural environment of the manganese ions in this kind of compound. Magnetic susceptibility data show an antiferromagnetic coupling for all the compounds: J = -2.89 cm(-1) (for 1), -8.16 cm(-1) (for 2), -0.68 cm(-1) (for 3), and -2.34 cm(-1) (for 4). Compounds 1 and 3 have the same cation complex [[Mn(bpy)(H(2)O)](2)(mu-ClCH(2)COO)(2)(mu-O)](2+), but, while 1 shows an antiferromagnetic coupling, for 3 the magnetic interaction between Mn(III) ions is very weak. The four compounds show catalase activity, and when the reaction stopped, Mn(II) compounds with different nuclearity could be obtained: binuclear [[Mn(phen)(2)](mu-ClCH(2)COO)(2)](ClO(4))(2), trinuclear [Mn(3)(bpy)(2)(mu-ClCH(2)COO)(6)], or mononuclear complexes without carboxylate. Two Mn(II) compounds without carboxylate have been characterized by X-ray diffraction: [Mn(NO(3))(2)(bpy)(2)][Mn(NO(3))(bpy)(2)(H(2)O)]NO(3) (5) and [Mn(bpy)(3)](ClO(4))(2).0.5 C(6)H(4)-1,2-(COOEt)(2).0.5H(2)O (8).  相似文献
