In this paper, (p,Y)-Bessel operator sequences, operator frames and (p,Y)-Riesz bases for a Banach space X are introduced and discussed as generalizations of the usual concepts for a Hilbert space and of the g-frames. It is proved that the set of all (p,Y)-Bessel operator sequences for a Banach space X is a Banach space and isometrically isomorphic to the operator space B(X,p(Y)). Some necessary and sufficient conditions for a sequence of operators to be a (p,Y)-Bessel operator sequence are given. Also, a characterization of an independent (p,Y)-operator frame for X is obtained. Lastly, it is shown that an independent (p,Y)-operator frame for X is just a (p,Y)-Riesz basis for X and has a unique dual (q,Y*)-operator frame for X*.  相似文献

Given a separable, infinite dimensional Hilbert space, it was recently shown by the authors that there is a path of chaotic operators, which is dense in the operator algebra with the strong operator topology, and along which every operator has the exact same dense Gδ set of hypercyclic vectors. In the present work, we show that the conjugate set of any hypercyclic operator on a separable, infinite dimensional Banach space always contains a path of operators which is dense with the strong operator topology, and yet the set of common hypercyclic vectors for the entire path is a dense Gδ set. As a corollary, the hypercyclic operators on such a Banach space form a connected subset of the operator algebra with the strong operator topology.  相似文献

A general approach to transference principles for discrete and continuous operator (semi)groups is described. This allows one to recover the classical transference results of Calderón, Coifman and Weiss and of Berkson, Gillespie and Muhly and the more recent one of the author. The method is applied to derive a new transference principle for (discrete and continuous) operator semigroups that need not be groups. As an application, functional calculus estimates for bounded operators with at most polynomially growing powers are derived, leading to a new proof of classical results by Peller from 1982. The method allows for a generalization of his results away from Hilbert spaces to Lp-spaces and—involving the concept of γ-boundedness—to general Banach spaces. Analogous results for strongly-continuous one-parameter (semi)groups are presented as well. Finally, an application is given to singular integrals for one-parameter semigroups.  相似文献

In this paper, we deal with a new model of an n-unit series repairable system, in which a concept of a repairman with multiple-delayed vacation is introduced and the impact on the system reliability due to a replaceable facility is also considered. This paper is devoted to studying the unique existence and stability of the system solution. C0-semigroup theory is used to prove the existence of a unique nonnegative time-dependent solution of the system. Then by analyzing the spectra distribution of the system operator, we prove that the dynamic solution of the system asymptotically converges to the nonnegative steady-state solution which is the eigenfunction corresponding to eigenvalue 0 of the system operator. Furthermore, we discuss the exponential stability of the system in a special case. Some reliability indices of the system are also studied and the optimal vacation time is analyzed at the end of the paper.  相似文献

In terms of Weyl-Titchmarsh m-functions, we obtain a new necessary condition for an indefinite Sturm-Liouville operator to be similar to a self-adjoint operator. This condition is used to construct examples of J-nonnegative Sturm-Liouville operators with singular critical point zero.  相似文献

We develop a theoretical framework for projection-iterative methods to solve operator equations of the form Au + Bu = f, where A is a Toeplitz operator in a Banach space , B is considered as a perturbation (of general form) of A, and f is a given element in this space. The methods are adopted for application to general situations, in particular, to the equations in which A need not be a Fredholm operator. The idea to involve iteration procedures and the technique which we apply allow to obtain conditions on perturbations for convergence and effective error estimates in terms of some weighted spaces (without any restrictions on the norms for perturbations). Based on established evaluations we derive further information about decaying properties of the solutions. The obtained results are illustrated by considering concrete classes of equations as, for instance, equations corresponding to Jacobi type operators.   相似文献

The feedback operator of a linear pseudoparabolic problem with quadratic criterion is obtained by decoupling of the optimality condition. The feedback operator is shown to be related to the solution of a Riccati equation formulated in theB*-algebra of bounded linear operators onL 2(). This approach shows that the linear feedback operator may be considered as a bounded operator fromL 2() intoH 0 1 (). We consider a Grassmannian version of the noncommutative U(1) sigma model specified by the energy functional E(P) = ‖[a, P]‖ HS 2 , where P is an orthogonal projection operator in a Hilbert space H and a: H → H is the standard annihilation operator. LetM e 0 be the maximal operator over segments of length 1 with directions belonging to a Cantor set. It has been conjectured that this operator is bounded onL 2. We consider a sequence of operators over finite sets of directions converging toM e 0 . We improve the previous estimate for the (L 2,L 2)-norm of these particular operators. We also prove thatM e 0 is bounded from some subsets ofL 2 toL 2. These subsets are composed of positive functions whose Fourier transforms have a very weak decay or are supported in a vertical strip. Partially supported by Spanish DGICYT grant no. We prove that a dissipative operator in the Krein space has a maximal nonnegative invariant subspace provided that the operator admits matrix representation with respect to the canonical decomposition of the space and the upper right operator in this representation is compact relative to the lower right operator. Under the additional assumption that the upper and lower left operators are bounded (the so-called Langer condition), this result was proved (in increasing order of generality) by Pontryagin, Krein, Langer, and Azizov. We relax the Langer condition essentially and prove under the new assumptions that a maximal dissipative operator in the Krein space has a maximal nonnegative invariant subspace such that the spectrum of its restriction to this subspace lies in the left half-plane. Sufficient conditions are found for this restriction to be the generator of a holomorphic semigroup or a C 0-semigroup.  相似文献

We discuss exponential asymptotic property of the solution of a parallel repairable system with warm standby under common-cause failure. This system can be described by a group of partial differential equations with integral boundary. First we show that the positive contraction C0-semigroup T(t) [Weiwei Hu, Asymptotic stability analysis of a parallel repairable system with warm standby under common-cause failure, Acta Anal. Funct. Appl. 8 (1) (2006) 5-20] which is generated by the operator corresponding to these equations is a quasi-compact operator. Then by using [Weiwei Hu, Asymptotic stability analysis of a parallel repairable system with warm standby under common-cause failure, Acta Anal. Funct. Appl. 8 (1) (2006) 5-20] that 0 is an eigenvalue of the operator with algebraic index one and the C0-semigroup T(t) is contraction, we conclude that the spectral bound of the operator is zero. By using the above results the exponential asymptotical stability of the time-dependent solution of the system follows easily.  相似文献

We prove that a linear bounded extension operator exists for the trace of C 1·ω (R n )to an arbitrary closed subset of R n .The similar result is obtained for some other spaces of multivariate smooth functions. We also show that unlike the one-dimensional case treated by Whitney, for some trace spaces of multivariate smooth functions a linear bounded extension operator does not exist. The proofs are based on a relation between the problem under consideration and a similar problem for Lipschitz spaces defined on hyperbolic Riemannian manifolds.  相似文献

在文山中我们对非线性Lipschitz算子定义了其Lipschitz对偶算子,并证明了任意非线性Lipschitz算子的Lipschitz对偶算子是一个定义在Lipschitz对偶空间上的有界线性算子.本文还进一步证明:设C为 Banach空间 X的闭子集,C*L为C的 Lipschitz对偶空间,U为 C*L上的有界线性算子,则当且仅当 U为 w*-w*连续的同态变换时,存在Lipschitz连续算子T,使U为T的Lipschitz对偶算子.这一结论的理论意义在于:它表明一个非线性Lipschitz算子的可逆性问题可转化为有界线性算子的可逆性问题.作为应用,通过引入一个新概念──PX-对偶算子,在一般框架下给出了非线性算子半群的生成定理.  相似文献

The Dirac operator in several operators is an analogue of the - operator in theory of several complex variables. The Hartog’s type phenomena are encoded in a complex of invariant differential operators starting with the Dirac operator, which is an analogue of the Dolbeault complex. In the paper, a construction of the complex is given for the Dirac operator in 4 variables in dimension 6 (i.e. in the non-stable range). A peculiar feature of the complex is that it contains a third order operator. The methods used in the construction are based on the Penrose transform developed by R. Baston and M. Eastwood. We consider a general method of solving equations whose left-hand side is a series by powers of a linear continuous operator acting in a locally convex space. Obtained solutions are given by operator series by powers of the same operator as the left-hand side of the equation. The research is realized by means of characteristics (of order and type) of operator as well as operator characteristics (of operator order and operator type) of vector relatively of an operator.
