研究了初始的L-外部空间.构造了L-外部空间范畴的初始结构,并由此定义了L-外部空间的乘积结构和子空间结构,证明了L-外部空间范畴是L-预外部空间范畴的余反射子范畴.     

Planar and affine spaces

In this note, we characterize finite three-dimensional affine spaces as the only linear spaces endowed with set Ω of proper subspaces having the properties (1) every line contains a constant number of points, say n, with n>2; (2) every triple of noncollinear points is contained in a unique member of Ω; (3) disjoint or coincide is an equivalence relation in Ω with the additional property that every equivalence class covers all points. We also take a look at the case n=2 (in which case we have a complete graph endowed with a set Ω of proper complete subgraphs) and classify these objects: besides the affine 3-space of order 2, two small additional examples turn up. Furthermore, we generalize our result in the case of dimension greater than three to obtain a characterization of all finite affine spaces of dimension at least 3 with lines of size at least 3.     

Holomorphic Sobolev spaces associated to compact symmetric spaces

Using Gutzmer's formula, due to Lassalle, we characterise the images of Sobolev spaces under the Segal-Bargmann transform on compact Riemannian symmetric spaces. We also obtain necessary and sufficient conditions on a holomorphic function to be in the image of smooth functions and distributions under the Segal-Bargmann transform.     

Besov type function spaces defined on metric-measure spaces

The purpose of this article is to study the Besov type function spaces for maps which are defined on abstract metric-measure spaces. We extend some of the embedding theorems of the classical Besov spaces to the setting of abstract spaces.     

A note on Besov-Morrey spaces and Triebel-Lizorkin-Morrey spaces

In the present paper, we obtain three independent results on the Besov-Morrey spaces and the Triebel-Lizorkin-Morrey spaces. That is, we are going to obtain the characterization of local means, the boundedness of pseudo-differential operators and the characterization of the Hardy-Morrey spaces. By using the maximal estimate and the molecular decomposition, we shall integrate and extend the known results on these spaces.     

On loop spaces of configuration spaces

This article gives an analysis of topological and homological properties for loop spaces of configuration spaces. The main topological results are given by certain choices of product decompositions of these spaces, as well as ``twistings" between the factors. The main homological results are given in terms of extensions of the ``infinitesimal braid relations" or ``universal Yang-Baxter Lie relations".

     

Embeddings of anisotropic Besov spaces into Sobolev spaces

We study the embeddings of (homogeneous and inhomogeneous) anisotropic Besov spaces associated to an expansive matrix A into Sobolev spaces, with a focus on the influence of A on the embedding behavior. For a large range of parameters, we derive sharp characterizations of embeddings.     

Isometric embeddings of compact spaces into Banach spaces

We show the existence of a compact metric space K such that whenever K embeds isometrically into a Banach space Y, then any separable Banach space is linearly isometric to a subspace of Y. We also address the following related question: if a Banach space Y contains an isometric copy of the unit ball or of some special compact subset of a separable Banach space X, does it necessarily contain a subspace isometric to X? We answer positively this question when X is a polyhedral finite-dimensional space, c₀ or ?₁.     

Complex crowns of Riemannian symmetric spaces and non-compactly causal symmetric spaces

In this paper we define a distinguished boundary for the complex crowns of non-compact Riemannian symmetric spaces . The basic result is that affine symmetric spaces of can appear as a component of this boundary if and only if they are non-compactly causal symmetric spaces.

     

New sequence spaces in multiple normed spaces

In this work, using lacunary sequences and the notion of ideal convergence we define and examine new sequence spaces with respect to a sequence of modulus functions in n-normed linear spaces. Further, the definition of I_θ-convergence in n-normed linear spaces and some related results are given.     

Besov spaces and Herz spaces on local fields

The relationship of Besov spaces and Herz spaces on local fields is given. As an application, one multiplier theorem is obtained. And the decompositional characterization of the weighted Besov spaces is established.     

Some estimates in spaces

We consider a class of rearrangement invariant Banach Function Spaces recently appeared in a paper by the same authors, containing at the same time some Lorentz spaces Γ(ν), classical Lebesgue spaces and small Lebesgue spaces. We discuss the main properties coming directly from the norm, and, for certain values of the involved parameters, we prove some estimates of the norm of the associate space.     

Boundaries of Asplund spaces

We study the relationship between the classical combinatorial inequalities of Simons and the more recent (I)-property of Fonf and Lindenstrauss. We obtain a characterization of strong boundaries for Asplund spaces using the new concept of finitely self-predictable set. Strong properties for w^∗-K-analytic boundaries are established as well as a sup-lim sup theorem for Baire maps.     

Completeness of quasi-normed symmetric operator spaces

We show that (generalized) Calkin correspondence between quasi-normed symmetric sequence spaces and symmetrically quasi-normed ideals of compact operators on an infinite-dimensional Hilbert space preserves completeness. We also establish a semifinite version of this result.     

Dense subspaces of quasinormable spaces

Dense linear subspaces of quasinormable Fréchet spaces need not be quasinormable, as an example due to J. Bonet and S. Dierolf proved. A characterization of the quasinormability of dense linear subspaces of quasinormable locally convex spaces and several consequences are given. Moreover, an example of a dense linear subspace of a countable direct sum of Banach spaces, which is not quasinormable, is provided. (© 2006 WILEY‐VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA, Weinheim)     

Navigation in tree spaces

The orientable cover of the moduli space of real genus zero algebraic curves with marked points is a compact aspherical manifold tiled by associahedra, which resolves the singularities of the space of phylogenetic trees. The resolution maps planar metric trees to their underlying abstract representatives, collapsing and folding an explicit geometric decomposition of the moduli space into cubes, endowing the resolving space with an interesting canonical pseudometric. Indeed, the given map can be reinterpreted as relating the real and the tropical versions of the Deligne–Knudsen–Mumford compactification of the moduli space of Riemann spheres.     

The dilation property of modulation spaces and their inclusion relation with Besov spaces

We consider the dilation property of the modulation spaces Mp,q. Let be the dilation operator, and we consider the behavior of the operator norm ‖Dλ_‖Mp,q→Mp,q with respect to λ. Our result determines the best order for it, and as an application, we establish the optimality of the inclusion relation between the modulation spaces and Besov spaces, which was proved by Toft [J. Toft, Continuity properties for modulation spaces, with applications to pseudo-differential calculus, I, J. Funct. Anal. 207 (2004) 399-429].
