Two new aminophosphines – furfuryl‐(N‐dicyclohexylphosphino)amine, [Cy2PNHCH2–C4H3O] ( 1 ) and thiophene‐(N‐dicyclohexylphosphino)amine, [Cy2PNHCH2–C4H3S] ( 2 ) – were prepared by the reaction of chlorodicyclohexylphosphine with furfurylamine and thiophene‐2‐methylamine. Reaction of the aminophosphines with [Ru(η6p‐cymene)(μ‐Cl)Cl]2 or [Ru(η6‐benzene)(μ‐Cl)Cl]2 gave corresponding complexes [Ru(Cy2PNHCH2–C4H3O)(η6p‐cymene)Cl2] ( 1a ), [Ru(Cy2PNHCH2–C4H3O)(η6‐benzene)Cl2] ( 1b ), [Ru(Cy2PNHCH2–C4H3S)(η6p‐cymene)Cl2] ( 2a ) and [Ru(Cy2PNHCH2–C4H3S)(η6‐benzene)Cl2] ( 2b ), respectively, which are suitable catalyst precursors for the transfer hydrogenation of ketones. In particular, [Ru(Cy2PNHCH2–C4H3S)(η6‐benzene)Cl2] acts as a good catalyst, giving the corresponding alcohols in 98–99% yield in 30 min at 82 °C (up to time of flight ≤ 588 h?1). The title complex, di‐μ‐chloro‐bis[chloro(η6p‐cymene)ruthenium(II)]–9H‐carbazole (1/2), [Ru2Cl4(C10H14)2]·2C12H9N, is composed of one [RuCl26p‐cymene)]2 and two 9H‐carbazole molecules. There are one‐half of a dinuclear complex and one 9H‐carbazole molecule per asymmetric unit. In the dinuclear complex, each of the two crystallographically equivalent Ru atoms is in a pseudo‐tetrahedral environment, coordinated by a terminal Cl atom, two bridging Cl atoms and the aromatic hydrocarbon, which is linked in a η6 manner; the Ru⋯Ru separation is 3.688 (3) Å. The title complex has a crystallographic centre of symmetry located at the mid‐point of the Ru⋯Ru line. Intermolecular N—H⋯Cl and π–π stacking interactions are observed. These interactions form a four‐pointed star‐shaped ring and one‐dimensional linear chains of edge‐fused rings running parallel to the [100] direction, which stabilize the crystal packing.  相似文献

A new class of half‐sandwich (η6p‐cymene) ruthenium(II) complexes supported by 2‐aminofluorene derivatives [Ru(η6p‐cymene)(Cl)(L)] ( L  = 2‐(((9H‐fluoren‐2‐yl)imino)methyl)phenol ( L 1 ), 2‐(((9H‐fluoren‐2‐yl)imino)methyl)‐3‐methoxyphenol ( L 2 ), 1‐(((9H‐fluoren‐2‐yl)imino)methyl)naphthalene‐2‐ol ( L 3 ) and N‐((1H‐pyrrol‐2‐yl)methylene)‐9H‐fluorene‐2‐amine ( L 4 )) were synthesized. All compounds were fully characterized by analytical and spectroscopic techniques (IR, UV–Vis, NMR) and also by mass spectrometry. The solid state molecular structures of the complexes [Ru(η6p‐cymene)(Cl)(L2)], [Ru(η6p‐cymene)(Cl)(L3)] and [Ru(η6p‐cymene)(Cl)(L4)] revealed that the 2‐aminofluorene and p‐cymene moieties coordinate to ruthenium(II) in a three‐legged piano‐stool geometry. The synthesized complexes were used as catalysts for the dehydrogenative coupling of benzyl alcohol with a range of amines (aliphatic, aromatic and heterocyclic). The reactions were carried out under thermal heating, ultrasound and microwave assistance, using solvent or solvent free conditions, and the catalytic performance was optimized regarding the solvent, the type of base, the catalyst loading and the temperature. Moderately high to very high isolated yields were obtained using [Ru(η6p‐cymene)(Cl)(L4)] at 1 mol%. In general, microwave irradiation produced better yields than the other two techniques irrespective of the nature of the substituents.  相似文献

The ability of transition metal catalysts to add or remove hydrogen from organic substrates by transfer hydrogenation is a valuable synthetic tool. Towards a series of novel metal complexes with a P―NH ligand, [Ph2PNHCH2―C4H3O] derived from furfurylamine were synthesized. Reaction of [Ph2PNHCH2―C4H3O] 1 with [Ru(η6p‐cymene)(μ‐Cl)Cl]2, [Ru(η6‐benzene)(μ‐Cl)Cl]2, [Rh(μ‐Cl)(cod)]2 and [Ir(η5‐C5Me5)(μ‐Cl)Cl]2 gave a range of new monodentate complexes [Ru(Ph2PNHCH2―C4H3O)(η6p‐cymene)Cl2] 2 , [Ru(Ph2PNHCH2―C4H3O)(η6‐benzene)Cl2] 3 , [Rh(Ph2PNHCH2‐C4H3O)(cod)Cl] 4 , and [Ir(Ph2PNHCH2‐C4H30)(η5‐C5Me5)Cl2] 5 , respectively. All new complexes were fully characterized by analytical and spectroscopic methods. 31P‐{1H} NMR, distortionless enhancement by polarization transfer (DEPT) or 1H‐13C heteronuclear correlation (HETCOR) experiments were used to confirm the spectral assignments. Following activation by KOH, compounds 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 catalyzed the transfer hydrogenation of acetophenone derivatives to 1‐phenylethanol derivatives in the presence of iso‐PrOH as the hydrogen source. Notably [Ru(Ph2PNHCH2‐C4H3O)(η6‐benzene)Cl2] 3 acts as an excellent catalyst, giving the corresponding alcohols in 98–99% yield in 20 min at 82°C (time of flight ≤ 297 h?1) for the transfer hydrogenation reaction in comparison to analogous rhodium or iridium complexes. A new series of monoselenoquinone and diselenoquinone π complexes, [(η6p‐cymene)Ru(η4‐C6R4SeE)] (R=H, E=Se ( 6 ); R=CH3, E=Se ( 7 ); R=H, E=O ( 8 )), as well as selenolate π complexes [(η6p‐cymene)Ru(η5‐C6H3R2Se)][SbF6] (R=H ( 9 ); R=CH3 ( 10 )), stabilized by arene ruthenium moieties were prepared in good yields through nucleophilic substitution reactions from dichlorinated‐arene and hydroxymonochlorinated‐arene ruthenium complexes [(η6p‐cymene)Ru(C6R4XCl)][SbF6]2 (R=H, X=Cl ( 1 ); R=CH3, X=Cl ( 2 ); R=H, X=OH ( 3 )) as well as the monochlorinated π complexes [(η6p‐cymene)Ru(η5‐C6H3R2Cl)][SbF6]2 (R=H ( 4 ); R=CH3 ( 5 )). The X‐ray crystallographic structures of two of the compounds, [(η6p‐cymene)Ru(η4‐C6Me4Se2)] ( 7 ) and [(η6p‐cymene)Ru(η4‐C6H4SeO)] ( 8 ), were determined. The structures confirm the identity of the target compounds and ascertain the coordination mode of these unprecedented ruthenium π complexes of selenoquinones. Furthermore, these new compounds display relevant cytotoxic properties towards human ovarian cancer cells.  相似文献

The lithium tetrakis(methimazolyl)borate, Li[Bmt4], is accessible from the reaction of Li[BH4] with four equivalents of methimazole. The crystal structure of Li[Bmt4] supported by four water molecules is described. Reaction of Li[Bmt4] with [Ru(p‐cymene)Cl2]2 and subsequent treatment with NH4PF6 in CH3CN results in the formation of the complex [Ru(p‐cymene)(Bmt4)][PF6]. In addition, we report the result of the X‐ray structure analysis of the chiral Ru complex [Ru(p‐cymene)(Bmt4)][PF6].  相似文献

Six polynuclear chlorobismuthates are formed in the reaction between BiCl3 and Ph4PCl by variation of the molar ratio of the educts, the solvents and the crystallisation methods: [Ph4P]3[Bi2Cl9] · 2 CH2Cl2, [Ph4P]3[Bi2Cl9] · CH3COCH3, [Ph4P]2[Bi2Cl8] · 2 CH3COCH3, [Ph4P]4[Bi4Cl16] · 3 CH3CN, [Ph4P]4[Bi6Cl22], and [Ph4P]4[Bi8Cl28]. We report the crystal structure of [Ph4P]3[Bi2Cl9] · 2 CH2Cl2 which crystallises with triclinic symmetry in the S. G. P1 No. 2, with the lattice parameters a = 13.080(3) Å, b = 14.369(3) Å, c = 21.397(4) Å, α = 96.83(1)°, β = 95.96(1)°, γ = 95.94(2)°, V = 3943.9(1) Å3, Z = 2. The anion is formed from two face‐sharing BiCl6‐octahedra. [Ph4P]2[Bi2Cl8] · 2 CH3COCH3 crystallises with monoclinic symmetry in the S. G. P21/n, No. 14, with the lattice parameters a = 14.045(5) Å, b = 12.921(4) Å, c = 17.098(3) Å, β = 111.10(2)°, V = 2894.8(2) Å3, Z = 2. The anion is a bi‐octahedron of two square‐pyramids, joined by a common edge. The octahedral coordination is achieved with two acetone ligands. [Ph4P]4[Bi4Cl16] · 3 CH3CN crystallises in the triclinic S. G., P1, No. 2, with the lattice parameters a = 14.245(9) Å, b = 17.318(6) Å, c = 24.475(8) Å, α = 104.66(3)°, β = 95.93(3)°, γ = 106.90(4)°, V = 5486(4) Å3, Z = 2. Two Bi2Cl8 dimers in syn‐position form the cubic anion. Lattice parameters of [Ph4P]3[Bi2Cl9] · CH3COCH3 are also given. The solvated compounds are desolvated at approximately 100 °C. [Ph4P]3[Bi2Cl9] · 2 CH2Cl2 and [Ph4P]3[Bi2Cl9] · CH3COCH3 show the same sequence of phase transitions after desolvation. All compounds melt into a liquid in which some order is observed and transform on cooling into the glassy state.  相似文献

The carbonyl‐directed C3?H activation and alkylation of 2‐aroylbenzo[b]furans with acrylates occurs selectively either in a linear or branched fashion, depending on the catalyst employed; [Ru(p‐cymene)Cl2]2 or Ru(PPh3)3Cl2, respectively. Two alternate pathways—funded upon the differences in steric and electronic preferences of these two complexes—is proposed for the selectivity of linear versus branched products.  相似文献

Synthesis and Crystal Structure of Ruthenium(II) Complexes with Triazenido and Pentaazadienido Ligands The ruthenium(II) triazenido complex [RuCl(ClC6H4N3C6H4Cl)(p‐cymene)] ( 1 ) is obtained by the reaction of silver bis(p‐chlorphenyl)triazenid with [RuCl2(p‐cymene)]2 in CH2Cl2, and forms air stable, orange yellow crystals. It crystallizes as 1 ·CH2Cl2 in the orthorhombic space group Pbca with the lattice parameters a = 3134.3(3), b = 2105.7(2), c = 769.15(4) pm and Z = 8. In the diamagnetic mononuclear complex 1 the chelating triazenido ligand coordinates with the atoms N(1) and N(3). p‐Cymene binds η6 with its C6 ring. The reaction of the etherphosphane complex [RuCl2(Ph2PCH2C4H7O2)2] with 1, 3‐bis(p‐tolyl)triazenid in THF yields the complex [RuCl(tolyl‐N3‐tolyl)(Ph2PCH2C4H7O2)2] ( 2 ). 2 forms monoclinic, red crystals with the space group P21/c and a = 1521.0(2), b = 1451.8(2), c = 2073.7(2) pm, β = 99.29(1)° and Z = 4. It is air stable and diamagnetic. The triazenide ion coordinates with the atoms N(1) and N(3). One of the two etherphosphane ligands is chelating and coordinates with the P atom and one O atom, while the other ligand binds in a monodentate fashion with its P atom, resulting in a coordination number of six for the RuII. [Ag(tolyl‐N5‐tolyl)]2 reacts in THF with [RuCl2(C6H6)]2 to afford the air stable, diamagnetic pentaazadienido complex [RuCl(tolyl‐N5‐tolyl)(C6H6)] ( 3 ). 3 forms monoclinic, red crystals with the space group P21/c and a = 1462.4(1), b = 1056.51(8), c = 1371.4(1) pm, β = 114.36(1)° and Z = 4. The chelating pentaazadienido ligand coordinates with the atoms N(1) and N(3) at the divalent Ru atom. The benzene molecule binds η6 with its π system.  相似文献

Additionally, the dissociation of p‐cymene from 2a and 3a gives dichloro{(1Sa)‐[1,1′‐binaphthalene]‐2,2′‐diyl [(1R)‐(1‐(η6‐phenyl)ethyl][(1R)‐1‐phenylethyl]phosphoramidite‐κP)ruthenium(II) ( 4a ) and di‐μ‐chlorobis{(1Sa)‐[1,1′‐binaphthalene]‐2,2′‐diyl [(1R)‐1‐(η6‐phenyl)ethyl][(1R)‐1‐phenylethyl]phosphoramidite‐κP}diruthenium(II) bis(hexafluorophosphate) ( 5a ), respectively, in which one phenyl group of the N‐substituents is η6‐coordinated to the Ru‐center. Complexes 3a and 3b catalyze the asymmetric cyclopropanation of α‐methylstyrene with ethyl diazoacetate with up to 86 and 87% ee for the cis‐ and the trans‐isomers, respectively.  相似文献

The reactions of phosphonium‐substituted metallabenzenes and metallapyridinium with bis(diphenylphosphino)methane (DPPM) were investigated. Treatment of [Os{CHC(PPh3)CHC(PPh3)CH}Cl2(PPh3)2]Cl with DPPM produced osmabenzenes [Os{CHC(PPh3)CHC(PPh3)CH}Cl2{(PPh2)CH2(PPh2)}]Cl ( 2 ), [Os{CHC(PPh3)CHC(PPh3)CH}Cl{(PPh2)CH2(PPh2)}2]Cl2 ( 3 ), and cyclic osmium η2‐allene complex [Os{CH?C(PPh3)CH?(η2‐C?CH)}Cl2{(PPh2)CH2(PPh2)}2]Cl ( 4 ). When the analogue complex of osmabenzene 1 , ruthenabenzene [Ru{CHC(PPh3)CHC(PPh3)CH}Cl2(PPh3)2]Cl, was used, the reaction produced ruthenacyclohexadiene [Ru{CH?C(PPh3)CH?C(PPh3)CH}Cl{(PPh2)CH2(PPh2)}2]Cl2 ( 6 ), which could be viewed as a Jackson–Meisenheimer complex. Complex 6 is unstable in solution and can easily be convert to the cyclic ruthenium η2‐allene complexes [Ru{CH?C(PPh3)CH?(η2‐C?CH)}Cl{(PPh2)CH2(PPh2)}2]Cl2 ( 7 ) and [Ru{CH?C(PPh3)CH?(η2‐C?CH)}Cl2{(PPh2)CH2(PPh2)}2]Cl ( 8 ). The key intermediates of the reactions have been isolated and fully characterized, further supporting the proposed mechanism for the reactions. Similar reactions also occurred in phosphonium‐substituted metallapyridinium [OsCl2{NHC(CH3)C(Ph)C(PPh3)CH}(PPh3)2]BF4 to give the cyclic osmium η2‐allene‐imine complex [OsCl2{NH?C(CH3)C(Ph)?(η2‐C?CH)}{(PPh2)CH2(PPh2)}(PPh3)]BF4 ( 11 ).  相似文献

[Ph2P(O)CH2Im][F3B(μ‐OH)BF3]. First Structural Characterization of the Hexafluoro(μ‐hydroxo)diborate Ion [1] The hexafluoro(μ‐hydroxo)diborate ion has been isolated as it's Ph2P(O)CH2Im salt [Im = 2‐(1, 3, 4, 5‐tetramethylimidazolio)] ( 2 ) through basic hydrolysis of [Ph2P(OBF3)CH2Im]BF4 ( 1 ). The crystal structure of 2 · CH2Cl2 reveals the presence of ion pairs linked by unsymmetrical O‐H‐O hydrogen bonds.  相似文献

Tetra(N‐methylimidazole)‐beryllium‐di‐iodide, [Be(Me‐Im)4]I2 ( 1 ), was prepared from beryllium powder and iodine in N‐methylimidazole suspension to give yellow single crystal plates, which were characterized by X‐ray diffraction and IR spectroscopy. Compound 1 crystallizes tetragonally in the space group I 2d with four formula units per unit cell. Lattice dimensions at 100(2) K: a = b = 1784.9(1), c = 696.2(1) pm, R1 = 0.0238. The structure consists of homoleptic dications [Be(Me‐Im)4]2+ with short Be–N distances of 170.3(3) pm and iodide ions with weak interionic C–H ··· I contacts. Experiments to yield crystalline products from reactions of N‐methylimidazole with BeCl2 and (Ph4P)2[Be2Cl6], respectively, in dichloromethane solutions were unsuccessful. However, single crystals of [Be3(μ‐OH)3(Me‐Im)6]Cl3 ( 2 ) were obtained from these solutions in the presence of moisture air. According to X‐ray diffraction studies, two different crystal individuals ( 2a and 2b ) result, depending on the starting materials BeCl2 and (Ph4P)2[Be2Cl6], respectively [ 2a : Space group P21/n, Z = 4; 2b : Space group P , Z = 2]. As a side‐product from the reaction of N‐methylimidazole with (Ph4P)2[Be2Cl6] single crystals of (Ph4P)Cl·CH2Cl2 ( 3 ) were identified crystallographically (P21/n, Z = 4) which are isotypical with the corresponding known bromide (Ph4P)Br·CH2Cl2.  相似文献

The novel title ruthenium(II) complex, [RuCl(C10H14)(C10H10N3OS)], was synthesized from the reaction of 1,2,4‐triazepine, a new class of bidentate ligands, with [Ru(p‐cymene)Cl2]2. The 1,2,4‐triazepine ligand is coordinated to the metal centre through the N‐4 and S atoms, forming a four‐membered chelate ring. This is the first structural example of a transition metal complex containing a 1,2,4‐triazepine ligand.  相似文献

The title compound, 7‐[(Ph2P)Au(PPh3)]‐8‐(CH3)‐7,8‐nido‐C2B9H10]·0.5CH2Cl2 or [Au(C15H23B9P)(C18H15P)]·0.5CH2Cl2, is the first reported gold derivative of the ligand [7‐(Ph2P)‐8‐(CH3)‐7,8‐nido‐C2B9H10]?. It has a mononuclear structure with the gold centre in an essentially linear coordination [P—Au—P 174.041 (15)°]. The open C2B3 face contains one H atom that is strongly bonded to the central B atom and semi‐bridging to a neighbouring B atom [B—H distances 1.070 (16) and 1.45 (3) Å].  相似文献

The compounds [(η6p‐cymene)RuCl2(4‐nitroaniline)] and [(η6p‐cymene)RuCl2(2‐halogen‐4‐nitroaniline)] were synthesized and characterized by various means. The [(η6p‐cymene)RuCl2(4‐nitroaniline)] and [(η6p‐cymene)RuCl2(2‐fluoro‐4‐nitroaniline)] compounds were determined by X‐ray diffraction, appearing in a distorted piano‐stool type of arrangement with similar bond lengths and angles around the ruthenium. The compounds exhibited moderate to strong in vitro cytotoxicity against A549 and MCF‐7 human cancer cells. Substitution of heavy halogen atom on the ortho position of para‐nitroaniline weakened the cytotoxicity against both of MCF‐7 and A549, except the cases of fluorine substitution for hydrogen atom regarding A549 and bromine substitution for chlorine atom regarding MCF‐7, which showed minor deviation.  相似文献

Reaction of RuCl2(PPh3)3 with N‐Phenyl‐pyridine‐2‐carbaldehyde thiosemicarbazone (C5H4N–C2(H)=N3‐N2H–C1(=S)N1HC6H5, Hpytsc‐NPh) in presence of Et3N base led to loss of ‐N2H‐proton and yielded the complex [Ru(pytsc‐NPh)2(Ph3P)2] ( 1 ). Similar reactions of precursor RuCl2[(p‐tolyl)3P]3 with a series of thiosemicarbazone ligands, viz. pyridine‐2‐carbaldehyde thiosemicarbazone (Hpytsc), salicylaldehyde thiosemicarbazone (H2stsc), and benzaldehyde thiosemicarbazone (Hbtsc), have yielded the complexes, [Ru(pytsc)2{(p‐tolyl)3P}2] ( 2 ), [Ru(Hstsc)2{(p‐tolyl)3P}]2 ( 3 ), and [Ru(btsc)2{(p‐tolyl)3P}2] ( 4 ), respectively. The reactions of precursor Ru2Cl4(dppb)3 {dppb = Ph2P–(CH2)4–PPh2} with H2stsc, Hbtsc, furan‐2‐carbaldehyde thiosemicarbazone (Hftsc) and thiophene‐2‐carbaldehyde thiosemicarbazone (Httsc) have formed complexes of the composition, [Ru(Hstsc)2(dppb)] ( 5 ), [Ru(btsc)2(dppb)] ( 6 ), [Ru(ftsc)2(dppb)] ( 7 ), and [Ru(ttsc)2(dppb)] ( 8 ). The complexes have been characterized by analytical data, IR, NMR (1H, 31P) spectroscopy and X‐ray crystallography ( 1 and 5 ). The proton NMR confirmed loss of –N2H– proton in all the compounds, and 31P NMR spectra reveal the presence of equivalent phosphorus atoms in the complexes. In all the compounds, thiosemicarbazone ligands coordinate to the RuII atom via hydrazinic nitrogen (N2) and sulfur atoms. The arrangement around each metal atom is distorted octahedral with cis:cis:trans P, P:N, N:S, S dispositions of donor atoms.  相似文献

Structural Chemistry of the Alkyl- and Arylhaloarsenates(III) [Me2As2Cl5], [RAsCl3], [R2As2Br6]2– (R = Me, Et, Ph) and [Ph2AsX2] (X = Cl, Br) The alkyl- and arylhaloarsenates(III) [Ph4P][Me2As2Cl5] ( 1 ), [Ph4P][RAsCl3] (R = Me, Et, Ph, 2 – 4 ), [Me3PhN][PhAsCl3] ( 5 ), [Ph4P]2[R2As2Br6] (R = Me, Et, Ph, 6 – 8 ), [n-Pr4N][Ph2AsCl2] ( 9 ) and [n-Bu4N][Ph2AsBr2] ( 10 ) have been prepared and their structures established by X-ray diffraction. In contrast to the chloroarsenates(III) 2 – 5 , which all contain isolated ψ-trigonal bipyramidal anions [RAsCl3], the analogous bromoarsenates(III) 6 – 8 exhibit dimeric structures. Whereas the trans sited As–Cl distances in 2 and 3 are very similar a pronounced degree of asymmetry is apparent for the Cl–As–Cl three-centre bonds in 4 and 5 [2.396(1) and 2.602(1) Å in 5]. In 6 and 7 Ci symmetry related RAsBr2 units are connected through long As…Br bonds [2.926(1) and 3.116(2) Å in 6 ]. The bromophenylarsenate(III) anion of 8 which contains two effectively undistorted ψ-trigonal bipyramids [PhAsBr3] associated by weak As…Br interactions [3.117(2) Å]. In view of its very long bridging As…Cl distances the [Me2As2Cl5] anion in 1 can, as 6 an 7 , be regarded as two MeAsCl2 molecules weakly linked through a chloride ion.  相似文献

High yielding syntheses of 1‐(ferrocenylmethyl)‐3‐mesitylimidazolium iodide ( 1 ) and 1‐(ferrocenylmethyl)‐3‐mesitylimidazol‐2‐ylidene ( 2 ) were developed. Complexation of 2 to [{Ir(cod)Cl}2] (cod=cis,cis‐1,5‐cyclooctadiene) or [Ru(PCy3)Cl2(?CH‐o‐O‐iPrC6H4)] (Cy=cyclohexyl) afforded 3 ([Ir( 2 )(cod)Cl]) and 5 ([Ru( 2 )Cl2(?CH‐o‐O‐iPrC6H4)]), respectively. Complex 4 ([Ir( 2 )(CO)2Cl]) was obtained by bubbling carbon monoxide through a solution of 3 in CH2Cl2. Spectroelectrochemical IR analysis of 4 revealed that the oxidation of the ferrocene moiety in 2 significantly reduced the electron‐donating ability of the N‐heterocyclic carbene ligand (ΔTEP=9 cm?1; TEP=Tolman electronic parameter). The oxidation of 5 with [Fe(η5‐C5H4COMe)Cp][BF4] as well as the subsequent reduction of the corresponding product [ 5 ][BF4] with decamethylferrocene (Fc*) each proceeded in greater than 95 % yield. Mössbauer, UV/Vis and EPR spectroscopy analysis confirmed that [ 5 ][BF4] contained a ferrocenium species, indicating that the iron center was selectively oxidized over the ruthenium center. Complexes 5 and [ 5 ][BF4] were found to catalyze the ring‐closing metathesis (RCM) of diethyl diallylmalonate with observed pseudo‐first‐order rate constants (kobs) of 3.1×10?4 and 1.2×10?5 s?1, respectively. By adding suitable oxidants or reductants over the course of a RCM reaction, complex 5 was switched between different states of catalytic activity. A second‐generation N‐heterocyclic carbene that featured a 1′,2′,3′,4′,5′‐ pentamethylferrocenyl moiety ( 10 ) was also prepared and metal complexes containing this ligand were found to undergo iron‐centered oxidations at lower potentials than analogous complexes supported by 2 (0.30–0.36 V vs. 0.56–0.62 V, respectively). Redox switching experiments using [Ru( 10 )Cl2(?CH‐o‐O‐iPrC6H4)] revealed that greater than 94 % of the initial catalytic activity was restored after an oxidation–reduction cycle.  相似文献

Piano‐stool‐shaped platinum group metal compounds, stable in the solid state and in solution, which are based on 2‐(5‐phenyl‐1H‐pyrazol‐3‐yl)pyridine ( L ) with the formulas [(η6‐arene)Ru( L )Cl]PF6 {arene = C6H6 ( 1 ), p‐cymene ( 2 ), and C6Me6, ( 3 )}, [(η6‐C5Me5)M( L )Cl]PF6 {M = Rh ( 4 ), Ir ( 5 )}, and [(η5‐C5H5)Ru(PPh3)( L )]PF6 ( 6 ), [(η5‐C5H5)Os(PPh3)( L )]PF6 ( 7 ), [(η5‐C5Me5)Ru(PPh3)( L )]PF6 ( 8 ), and [(η5‐C9H7)Ru(PPh3)( L )]PF6 ( 9 ) were prepared by a general method and characterized by NMR and IR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. The molecular structures of compounds 4 and 5 were established by single‐crystal X‐ray diffraction. In each compound the metal is connected to N1 and N11 in a k2 manner.  相似文献
