In this Note, we prove a Carleman's estimate for the integro-differential hyperbolic system of the viscoelasticity problem and we use this estimate to obtain a stability result for the inverse problem of recovering a viscoelastic coefficient from a unique internal measure. Dynamique des applications holomorphes propres de domaines réguliers et problème de l'injectivité

Summary This paper deals with proper holomorphic self-maps of smoothly bounded pseudoconvex domains in . We study the dynamical properties of their extension to the boundary and show that their non-wandering sets are always contained in the weakly pseudoconvex part of the boundary. In the case of complete circular domains, we combine this fact with an entropy/degree argument to show that the maps are automorphisms. Some of our results remain true in      

Une réponse négative au problème de Noether différentiel

According to a theorem first stated by Clifford, Noether [8] and Rosanes [12], which later received a complete proof by Castelnuovo [2], the Cremona group of the plane is generated by de Jonquières transformations. J.F. Ritt [10] asked whether such a result could be generalized to the differential plane. We give a negative answer, relying on a flat system of Rouchon.

Reliability of large system can be evaluated from the probability q of failure before restoration. In [8], the authors give an asymptotic approximation with monotone sequences for a k/n system. We propose, here, a bounding for q in a more general case, and apply in ageing property case.     

Théorème de la limite centrale des U-processus dégénérés

We prove a central limit theorem for degenerate U-processes under a metric entropy with bracketing condition. More precisely, we give an analogue of Ossiander's Theorem for empirical processes. All calculations use the chaining argument with adaptative truncations initiated by Bass [4].

Resumé Nous applíquons les résultats de [2] à la construction d'analyses multirésolutions et en particulier à l'étude de pavages auto-affines de ^d . Nous montrons qu'une tuile auto-affine, construite à partir d'une matrice dilatante à coefficients entiers, permet de paver ^d par translation par les éléments d'un réseau.

Tests d'hypothèses sur les coefficients de Fourier d'une fonction de régression non linéaire

We consider the nonparametric regression model with regression function ƒ. We construct tests for hypotheses on Fourier coefficients of ƒ in a given band of frequencies. Such tests can be used in particular to compare two noisy signals in a frequency band. The test statistics, we use, are based on the empirical Fourier coefficients of the regression function ƒ.

Krein, ce problème ne peut pas être consdéré comme résolu. On donne ici quelques conditions qui sont, soit nécessaires, soit suffisantes pour la possibitité et pour l'unicité du prolongement. à M. Sur les identités polynomiales vérifiées par les algèbres de rétrocroisement

We study the ideal of polynomial identities of a single indeterminate satisfied by all backcrossing algebras. For this we distinguish two categories according to whether or not these algebras satisfy an identity for the plenary powers. For each category, we give the generators for the vector space of identities, a condition for any object belonging to one of these two categories verify a given identity, a necessary and su?cient condition that a polynomial is an identity and we study the existence of an idempotent element. We give a method which brings the search of identities satified by the backcrossing algebras to the solution of linear systems and we illustrate this method by constructing generators of homogeneous and non homogeneous identities of degrees less than 8.
