In this paper we classify regular p-groups with type invariants (e, 1,1,1) for e≥2 and (1,1,1,1,1). As a by-product, we give a new approach to the classification of groups of order p5, p ≥ 5 a prime.  相似文献

The traditional Krasnoselskii’s fixed point theorem in Banach spaces does not reproduce the rich and varied forms of operator equations in abstract spaces which are not linear structure. Consequently, its applications to integral equations and differential equations have met many obstacles. The present alternative Krasnoselskii’s fixed point theorem in generalized semilinear Banach spaces overcomes this deficiency and opens up for profitable investigation such as differential systems with uncertainty. An application to the existence of solutions of nonlocal problems for fuzzy implicit fractional differential systems under Caputo generalized Hukuhara differentiability with demonstrated example is given to validate the effectiveness of our theoretical results.  相似文献

In this paper we study the notion of injectivity in the category Pos-S of S-posets for a pomonoid S. First we see that, although there is no non-trivial injective S-poset with respect to monomorphisms, Pos-S has enough (regular) injectives with respect to regular monomorphisms (sub S-posets). Then, recalling Banaschewski’s theorem which states that regular injectivity of posets with respect to order-embeddings and completeness are equivalent, we study regular injectivity for S-posets and get some homological classification of pomonoids and pogroups. Among other things, we also see that regular injective S-posets are exactly the retracts of cofree S-posets over complete posets.  相似文献

Generalized basic logic algebras (GBL-algebras for short) have been introduced in [JT02] as a generalization of Hájek’s BL-algebras, and constitute a bridge between algebraic logic and ℓ-groups. In this paper we investigate normal GBL-algebras, that is, integral GBL-algebras in which every filter is normal. For these structures we prove an analogue of Blok and Ferreirim’s [BF00] ordinal sum decomposition theorem. This result allows us to derive many interesting consequences, such as the decidability of the universal theory of commutative GBL-algebras, the fact that n-potent GBL-algebras are commutative, and a representation theorem for finite GBL-algebras as poset sums of GMV-algebras, a result which generalizes Di Nola and Lettieri’s [DL03] representation of finite BL-algebras. An n-Lie algebra analogue of Schur’s theorem and its converse as well as a Lie algebra analogue of Baer’s theorem and its converse are presented. Let cd(G) be the set of irreducible complex character degrees of a finite group G. The Taketa problem conjectures that if G is a finite solvable group, then ${{\rm dl}(G) \leqslant |{\rm cd} (G)|}$ , where dl(G) is the derived length of G. In this note, we show that this inequality holds if either all nonlinear irreducible characters of G have even degrees or all irreducible character degrees are odd. Also, we prove that this inequality holds if all irreducible character degrees have exactly the same prime divisors. Finally, Isaacs and Knutson have conjectured that the Taketa problem might be true in a more general setting. In particular, they conjecture that the inequality ${{\rm dl}(N) \leqslant |{\rm cd} {(G \mid N)}|}$ holds for all normal solvable subgroups N of a group G. We show that this conjecture holds if ${{\rm cd} {(G \mid N')}}$ is a set of non-trivial p–powers for some fixed prime p.  相似文献

In this paper, we establish an existence theorem for a generalized self-dual Chern–Simons equation over a doubly periodic domain and use the existence theorem to prove the existence of doubly periodic self-dual vortices in a Maxwell–Chern–Simons model with non-minimal coupling. We find a necessary and sufficient condition for the existence of solutions of the generalized Chern–Simons equation. We prove the existence result by using two methods, a super- and sub-solution method and a constrained minimization method. Our main contribution is that we find a general inequality-type constraint by using the second method and it maybe applied to some related problems with the similar structures.  相似文献

A polynomial solution of the inhomogeneous Dirichlet problem for Poisson’s equation with a polynomial right-hand side is found. An explicit representation of the harmonic functions in the Almansi formula is used. The solvability of a generalized third boundary value problem for Poisson’s equation is studied in the case when the value of a polynomial in normal derivatives is given on the boundary. A polynomial solution of the third boundary value problem for Poisson’s equation with polynomial data is found.  相似文献

S. M. Robinson published in 1980 a powerful theorem about solutions to certain “generalized equations” corresponding to parameterized variational inequalities which could represent the first-order optimality conditions in nonlinear programming, in particular. In fact, his result covered much of the classical implicit function theorem, if not quite all, but went far beyond that in ideas and format. Here, Robinson’s theorem is viewed from the perspective of more recent developments in variational analysis as well as some lesser-known results in the implicit function literature on equations, prior to the advent of generalized equations. Extensions are presented which fully cover such results, translating them at the same time to generalized equations broader than variational inequalities. Robinson’s notion of first-order approximations in the absence of differentiability is utilized in part, but even looser forms of approximation are shown to furnish significant information about solutions.  相似文献

A theorem of Hartman–Wintner enables us to find a nonzero homogeneous polynomial approximate to the difference of two solutions of an elliptic partial differential equation of second order. This theorem plays a crucial role in the study of an umbilical point on each of a special Weingarten surface, a surface with constant anisotropic mean curvature and a Willmore surface. In this paper, by constructing Bochner–Fejér polynomials for piecewise continuous almost periodic functions (PCAP, for short), the authors establish Favard?s theorem of PCAP functions, which illustrates when the primitive function of PCAP function is a PCAP function. As its application, combining coincidence degree theory, we consider the existence of PCAP solution of impulsive single population model with hereditary effects. To our best knowledge, it is the first time when coincidence degree theory is used to study the existence of PCAP solution of impulsive differential equation.  相似文献
