In the present paper, a general assertion is proved, claiming that, for every associative algebra $\mathcal{A}$ without zero divisors which admits a valuation and a seminorm concordant with the valuation, the transcendence degree of an arbitrary commutative subalgebra does not exceed the maximal number of independent pairwise pseudocommuting elements of some basis of the algebra $\mathcal{A}$ . The author shows that for such a algebra $\mathcal{A}$ one can take an arbitrary algebra of quantum Laurent polynomials, quantum analogs of the Weyl algebra, and also some universal coacting algebras. In the case of the algebra $\mathcal{L}$ of quantum Laurent polynomials, it is proved that the transcendence degree of a maximal commutative subalgebra of $\mathcal{L}$ coincides with the maximal number of independent pairwise commuting elements of the monomial basis of the algebra $\mathcal{L}$ . 相似文献

Let R be a commutative ring with 1 ≠ 0 and n a positive integer. In this article, we study two generalizations of a prime ideal. A proper ideal I of R is called an n-absorbing (resp., strongly n-absorbing) ideal if whenever x 1…x n+1 ∈ I for x 1,…, x n+1 ∈ R (resp., I 1…I n+1 ? I for ideals I 1,…, I n+1 of R), then there are n of the x i 's (resp., n of the I i 's) whose product is in I. We investigate n-absorbing and strongly n-absorbing ideals, and we conjecture that these two concepts are equivalent. In particular, we study the stability of n-absorbing ideals with respect to various ring-theoretic constructions and study n-absorbing ideals in several classes of commutative rings. For example, in a Noetherian ring every proper ideal is an n-absorbing ideal for some positive integer n, and in a Prüfer domain, an ideal is an n-absorbing ideal for some positive integer n if and only if it is a product of prime ideals. 相似文献

Let R be a commutative ring,I an ideal of R and k ≥ 2 a fixed integer.The ideal-based k-zero-divisor hypergraph HkI(R) of R has vertex set ZI(R,k),the set of all ideal-based k-zero-divisors of R,and for distinct elements x1,x2,…,xk in ZI(R,k),the set {x1,x2,…,xk} is an edge in HkI(R) if and only if x1x2…xk ∈ I and the product of the elements of any (k-1)-subset of {x1,x2,…,xk} is not in I.In this paper,we show that H3I(R) is connected with diameter at most 4 provided that x2 (∈) I for all ideal-based 3-zero-divisor hypergraphs.Moreover,we find the chromatic number of H3 (R) when R is a product of finite fields.Finally,we find some necessary conditions for a finite ring R and a nonzero ideal I of R to have H3I (R) planar. 相似文献

Abstract Summand intersection property (SIP) and summand sum property (SSP) of modules are studied in Garcia [Garcia, J. L. (1989). Properties of direct summands of modules. Comm. Algebra 17(1):73–92] and Wilson [Wilson (1986). Modules with the summand intersection property. Comm. Algebra 14(1):21–38] respectively, and these properties for C(X) are studied in Azarpanah [Azarpanah, F. (1999). Sum and intersection of summand ideals in C(X). Comm. Algebra 27(11): 5549–5560]. In this paper we give some topological characterizations of these properties in the case of a commutative reduced ring R. It is shown that R has SIP if and only if every intersection of clopen subsets of Spec(R) has a closed interior. This characterization shows that R has SIP whenever Spec(R) is locally connected or extremally disconnected. It is also shown that R has SSP if and only if Spec(R) has only finitely many components. If 𝒮 is a strong subspace of Spec(R), we can replace 𝒮 with Spec(R) and all of the above results remain valid. In semiprimitive Gelfand rings, SIP and SSP are equivalent. 相似文献
